Removing div with flash/flex from page crushes browser

Hallo to all Flex experts !
For an application based on dojo ( javascript ) we prototype
the migration to flex -
The application is very big, we already work on it more than
2 years, so we try to make the migration smooth by implementing
parts of the application in flex.
To do that, we dynamically open a div with an <object>
/ <embed> in it, and close it on demand, by calling
javascript from flex, and simply remove the div from the document.
Problem is: this results in a browser crash ! (linux, FF 2,
Flash 9.0.31)
So, what is the recommended way to do that ( without crashing
the browser) ? how do we gracefully remove a flash/flex from the
page ?

I am using CSS and Javascript to display a div with an
embedded flash object in it. Mozilla Firefox reloads the flash file
when the div is displayed! (I dont want this to happen, as it's
unexpected functionality, my expectation would be that the flash
file would not change it's state at all, and would remain in
whatever state it was left in.)
I was wondering if anyone has come across this issue and is
there something I can do to prevent this from occurring?

id)) an equivalent numbered div tag containing the flash file.

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to remove the "Shared With Everyone" folder for all users. As
an admin, you can just log into every user's OneDrive for business library to delete it one by one. Sorry for this. If the amounts of the users are large, it will take heavy workloads to work on this. In this situation, we suggest you let the users delete
the folder by themselves.

How can I remove the Endnote Separator Line from Pages?

I am creating a book using Pages and have lots of footnotes (Currently running Pages 5.2.2).. There is an Endnote Line Separator which I am trying to remove.
Does anyone know how to remove this line? We don't want it in the final design & are trying to root it out before exporting the whole document to Adobe In-Design.

Importing with flash drive from windows xp computer?

Have a xp that the music was managed from old verision accout. using a flashdrive i copied wma files. and cant transport to itunes.
also having same problem with avi file and imovie.

WMA can be played with iTunes on a PC but not on a Mac. Other applications such as VLC and Cog can play WMA on a Mac, or you can convert the files to mp3 or other iTunes-compatible format. DRM protected WMA cannot be converted and can only be played on a PC.
AVI is a again very Windows-oriented movie format. Adding Perian to your system makes it more playable, though I am not sure about doing so in iMovie. Alternatively you can play it easily with VLC.

Problems with Flash video streaming in any Browser (Windows 8.1)

Hello.
Since maybe the last Chrome update (to version 42.0.2311.90 m - I tried both 32 and 64 bits versions) or some Windows 8.1 updates (I don't know for sure), flash videos don't even start to buffer - they only play after the full content is downloaded (or loaded in the site's player) . So, If I try to watch a video from a Flash Player based interface (like Dailymotion, or Vimeo), I have no streaming, and I have to wait a long time, watching a "1%" or a load wheel until the full content is available to watch.
This is happening with all browsers, not only Chrome (IE and Firefox too). I tried to update flash player (first, version 17,0,0,169 and then tried the beta, the one released April 14, 2015). No difference at all. So, I think this might be a problem with the flash player itself, or with some Windows settings.
So, lets go to the facts:
- That happened suddenly for no apparent reason - one day it was working, and on the other day it wasn't;
- I have the latest versions of all browsers I use (Chrome, IE and Firefox);
- My Flash Player version is, currently, the latest version;
- I tried old Flash Player versions. didn't work;
- This is not happening with HTML5 video players, like Youtube, so i think it's not a codec problem;
- I have the latest nVidia graphics driver. And it was happening even before I update the driver (I have a GeForce GTX 770);
- I tried disabling the hardware acceleration on Flash settings, nothing happened;
- I use default Windows Firewall and Defender. Tried to disable firewall, nothing happened;
- I had searched all over the internet for the answer, but I can't find it. I already did all what the troubleshoot pages from Adobe said to do;
- My internet connection is fine. It's a fast connection, and It's on wireless. I have several PCs connected to this network and flash videos work fine with them, only in this specific machine isn't;
- I tried uninstall flash player and install again several times, with several different versions. Didn't work;
- Tried disable different versions of flash player on Chrome too, nothing happened.
The thing is, I can imagine that this might not be only a flash player problem, but since it's the only plugin problem I have, I thought that you might have the answer.

Flash SWFs need time to finish loading and initializing. Try increasing the screenshot delay for your page - it's the numeric spinner just to the right of the url field

Unless your iPad has been jailbroken, it's highly unlikely that your iPad has a virus or any sort of malware. I don't know what you've tried, but if this is a browser hijack, clearing the Cookies and Data (Settings -> Safari) and the Website Data (Settings -> Safari -> Advanced) shoud cure it. If you continue to have your web surfing hijacked, it may be your WiFi router that's been poisoned, in which case it will need to be reset.

Unexpected behaviour for flex application running on Mac 10.8 with Flash player 12 on Safari

I have scenario here : I am running my flex application in my Mac 10.8 machine with Flash player 12 on Safari browser . I have a registration form and it is validating various fields in it and when I hit Continue button it is not navigating to the next screen even if all the fields are validated. This registration form is a Popup. Can any body help me with this?

How to use a Flash/Flex GUI for DW Extensions

I am creating a DW extension for an image and flash gallery.
The extension will be accessible from the Insert menu. Once
clicked, it would present me with a Flash/Flex form to
search/browse for images/swf by file name or tags. Once I select an
image/swf and clicked OK, it would insert into my webpage the
absolute URL associated with the image/swf. The problem is I am not
aware of how to create an extension with a Flash/Flex GUI.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

After Installing Flash Player 9, i can't open anything with Flash

After ungrading to Adobe Flash Player 9, i can't open
anything with flash on any of my browsers (Safari, IE)
and it just keeps on running in circles...like it tells me to
go to the download page and then i would download it and install
the software, but after installation, it directs me to the
macromedia pages and it says:

Are you using any MS Office third party Add-ins? Test: Remove third party Add-ins other than PDFMaker. Test to see if the MS Office apps run afterward.
Did you attempt to repair MS Office? Test: Go to Add/Remove Control Panel run Repair.
Finally, have you tried testing to see if it's PDFMaker? Test: Use the Add/Remove Control Panel to modify the Acrobat installation to remove PDFMaker. See if MS Office applications launch and behave correctly?

Email from pages not being sent

I have tried to send three emails with word attachments from Pages without any being sent successfully. I have received two messages:
1. Receipient rejected by server ; and
2. Content of email not sent
Can anyone please assist, please.

It could be that the size o fthe attachment is too large and the server used by the reciever rejects it. It could be you have the wrong address (not as likely). I'd try the following:
1) send a short email with no attachment to xxx.
2) send a short email with a small file attached to xxx.
3) send an email with the file you tried to send previously to xxx.
Which of these works, which don't?

HP iPAQ with flash lite compatibility

I'm thinking of purchasing an HP iPAQ for the purpose of
maybe adapting a SWF app to work with this phone/pda device. This
device comes with Windows Mobile 5 For Pocket PC Phone Edition, I
was wondering if anyone knows if this OS is compatible with Flash
Lite. I know that Windows Mobile 5 is, but I wanted ot make sure
the phone edition was as well, the Flash Lite section of this web
site does not mention this OS version.... and when it comes to OS's
I trust nothing!!
If anyone can provide any inpute, I would apreciate it!!!

Flash lite 3,0 and 3,1 are based on Flash 8, for most of sites you have to have version 9 or earlier...
With Flash lite 3 you can browse only sites like youtube, which has special player version for these phones. (and work only on s60v3, on s60v5 you have to use app)
Flash lite 4 s based on Flash 10. Unfortunately, Flash lite 4 supports only new Nokia Symbian^3 and some Android devices. Browsing web with Flash lite 4 is much better and you can open about 90% flash content... But, it will probably never be avaliable for older (s60v3 and v5) smartphones.
