Removing image destination when mouse placed over document

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.   I want to remove the image destination of the images used in the document when the mouse is plaed over them.  Doesn't look good.
Tried saving it, and opening it with normal adobe reader and still have same issue.
Please help
Thank you

By example.
With comtemporary versions of MS Word an inserted image's file name is, by default, placed in the Alternative text field.
With the inserted image selected you will observe a bounding box.
Right click to open the  context menu and select "Size".
The "Size" dialog is presented.
You'll observe two tabs. Select the "Alt Text" tab.
The value provided for the Alternative text field will be the image's file name.
If your PDF does not need to be an accessible (i.e., ISO 14289-1 compliant PDF) then just leave the value for Alternative text empty.
If your PDF needs to be accessible then provide something meaningful for the value of the Alternative text.
Be well...

  • How to display item when mouse moves over Column value??

    Hi there
    It would be helpful if you could resolve the following :
    i) I need to display the column 'A' values of my report in a Text field when mouse moves over column B of my report.
    ii) I can able to display the same column value when mouse moves over or onclick happens. but my requirement is something like i have to display the other column value when mouse moves over.
    iii) Also i noticed that, i can able to display the item only on "Display only Item" and not on Text field.
    Any pointers to display my column value in Text field when onclick happens on my report column?
    iv) One more thing that i noticed, i can able to perform onclick or mouse over only on Editable column and not on
    non editable columns.
    Any pointers on how to achieve the same when mouse moves over Non editable column of report?
    Reference: I have created a dummy application (refer the following link), where i can able to display column value Salary on display only item using mouse move Event.
    My requirement: when i click column Ename , the text field should show salary.

    Any pointers on this would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Vijay,
    If you use Jquery then this should do the trick.
    $(document).ready(function() {
       $(".t20Report t20Standard tr").hover(function() {
         $("#P2_SALARY").attr("innerHTML",$(this).find("td:last input").attr("value"));
    {code}
    after looking at the source of your page it seems that your class for your report region is *class="t20Report t20Standard"* I am not 100% sure but you might have to correct that in the template. I am not sure how the selector will handle the space in the class name.
    Hope this helps,

  • How control can be customized so that it changes its picture when mouse moves over it

    How control can be customized so that it changes its picture when mouse moves over it. As it happens in other develpment enviroments that one can customized the look 'n feel of any thing during the mouse movement over that very thing. Moreover can any body plz tell me that how one can modify the funtionality of a control by him self (not selecting the available functionalities of controls and indicators)

    The attached LV 7.1 code uses an event configured to trigger on two controls when a "Mouse Enter" or a Mouse Leave" event occurs. Depending on the type key focus is either assigned or removed.
    Please elaborate on the Q re: customizing a control.
    Ben
    PS Do NOT change the boolean to an indicator, save, run, change to control, save run again. That is bad.

    Hello,
    I have includes a Web link in an image.
    When I convert the document in PDF, the link remains inactive. Could use me?
    Thank you.

    No version of Pages will allow images to be links. We always got around this by bracketting the image with text and making the link in that.
    Pages 5 has lost the ability to have cross links in pdfs and seems to have a bug that disables any links after the first page.

    Greetings!
    If you are still on this issue, I suggest you check out your fonts.  Had you been fooling with them?
    I once rebuilt my entire OS due to this problem a couple of years ago.  It popped up again yesterday and I determined to find the issue.
    It was my fonts.  I use Funtoo (I used to use ArchLinuxArm so I'm registered here) and just prior to the problem I was fooling with the infinality/lcdfilter settings.  After chasing my tail all day today I went and changed some font settings and that was it!  For me the same issue occurred whenever I tried to add the weather icon, the best thing about Docky.
    I had been fooling with the fonts 2 years ago too...
    An ominous and unhelpful error message to be sure.
    Good luck.

  • How to get rid of "Oracle Portal" label(text) when mouse is over Logo.gif image

    In several portal screens (for example:
    Add Item wizard, Create Folder wizard,
    Create Page Style Wizard, Account Info screen, Create Page wizard, Create Application Wizard, etc, etc.... )
    there is like a Banner with the Logo.gif image and the text "Oracle Portal" displayed when the mouse is OVER Logo.gif
    I know how to replace this image with our own file, but what i would like to know how to replace or eliminate the "Oracle Portal" text.
    I imagine the information for this Template is stored somewhere in the database.
    I will appreciate if someone can help me to identify where is located this info so I can delete/replace the text.
    Any other suggestions will be wellcome.
    Tks in advance

    Malin,
    when you install iAS, there is a directory
    oracle_home\portal30\images where all the image files are stored.
    for example, in my installation is:
    D:\oracle\iSuites\portal30\images
    one of the files is logo.gif, just overwrite that file with your own file (but keep the same name) and then your own logo or whatever you want will show up in the Portal.
    pls note that there are different image files you may want to replace.
    i hope it helps...

  • Why does tooltip-called image flicker when it is over the trigger?

    Using a tooltip to present an image works fine when the resulting image stays away from the trigger location, e.g. offset down and to the right.  If the image is nearly full-screen, it covers the trigger location and flickers rapidly, occasionally setting after a while, but only for a moment.  Same for a small text box, if the trigger is near bottom-right on the screen, causing the tooltip content to display over the trigger site.  Any ideas to stabilize the image/text when over the trigger?

    Remove the dimensions in the following
    <div class="tooltipContent" id="sprytooltip11">  <img src="pix/1-pp-all-490x480.jpg" width="850" height="750" /></div>

  • HELP! Continuous Object Motion When Mouse Moves Over - ActionScript 3.

    Hello! I'm working on a school project. Below is an image of what I am working on.
    My cursor in this movie is the heart. When I move my mouse over Hello Kitty she jumps -- but only once. How can I get her to keep jumping when my mouse is over her, and make her stop jumping when I pull away? Here is the code below. If you can help that would be great!!!
    Also, because I am new to ActionScript I might have messed up with the motion of the animation. Hello Kitty used to jump continuously without me doing anything. Then I copied the motion code into my ACTIONS layer and put stop(); in the Hello Kitty object code. So, she doesn't jump all the time anymore, just when my mouse moves over her... but she only jumps once and that is the problem. I want her to keep jumping as long as my mouse is over her. Please HELP! THANKS!!!!

    function mouseMOVE(event:MouseEvent):void {

    I won't be around much longer today, so on just a hunch I'd say if you comment out all of what you showed in your first posting, use what's below, and get rid of anything that might be stopping the kitty from jumping, it might work... though it might not...
    HKITTY_mc.gotoAndStop(1);
    HKITTY_mc.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER, kittyJump);
    function kittyJump(event:MouseEvent):void {
         HKITTY_mc.play();
    HKITTY_mc.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OUT, kittyStop);
    function kittyStop(event:MouseEvent):void {
         HKITTY_mc.gotoAndStop(1);

  • Data point display when mouse hovers over data point in TCODE QGC1

    Hi experts,
    Just want to ask if anyone knows how to add more data in the display when your mouse hovers over the data point in the control chart of transaction QGC1?
    Because currently the control chart shows u201CSeriesu201D and u201CValueu201D, Iu2019m planning to add the inspection lot date when your mouse hovers over the data point.
    Hope to have some response regarding this and thanks in advance

    Tohatsu,
    I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do but the way you have went about doing things is not the way to code in LV. Fist off break your code into functional blocks and use these functional blocks as Subvi's. This will make your block diagram easier to read. Once you do this you can get rid of a lot of code. Also you need to learn how to use the event structure, right now the way your code is set up to use it is not correct. Have a look at the examples that ship with LV. i am not even going to begin to try to understand your code because the diagram is so large. Please do not take all of this the wrong way I am not trying to be hard on you or anything, I am just giving you some constructive criticism..
    Break your code down into functional blocks and use subvi's to perform those blocks of code.
    Have a look at the examples on how to use an event structure.
    Have a look at state machines
    You would also benefit from getting the book called Labview for everyone, third edition, jeffrey travis and james kring.
    You have a lot going on in this VI. Use the eventstucture to your advantage instead of as a hinderence like it is now. the way your code is set up now everything runs in your while loop, then it waits for an event to fire. in your case the while loop will not run again until the mouse moves over the waveform chart. You are on the right track, you just need to get some fundamental basics down and you will figure out what is going on.
    Thanks for converting the code to 8.0 for me.

  • Bind a new shortcut to "save an image as" when mouse is hovering over a certain image

    In Opera, if on a page you see several pics, you only need to move mouse pointer to an image you wanna save and press "ctrl+alt+left click" and then a dialogue to save an image pops up.
    I already tried a few addons - none of them did what I need.
    So, I'm tired here a little bit plus... a bit lazy, yeah I could read it all:
    http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/XUL_Tutorial:Keyboard_Shortcuts
    http://www-archive.mozilla.org/unix/customizing.html#keys
    But maybe someone who's already prolific on this matter - help me out here? That would be greatly appreciated.

    '''finitarry''', you seem not to haven't read op post attentively, the catch here is how to easily save a certain picture on a page, in another browser you move mouse pointer to a picture and then left click mouse1 + ctrl+alt - then you're popped up to a dialog which asks you where to save the picture.
    In Firefox you have to right click (mouse2) on the picture and then choose "save as", it's not as convenient.

  • How do I stop a notify icon appearing multiple times... then disappear when mouse hovers over them

    Hi,
    [Re-posted
    from Outlook Dev Forum]
    I have an Outlook addin which makes use of a System.Windows.Forms.NotifyIcon to display update message without requiring the user to click Okay to dismiss them...etc.
    I declare and create it in the addin class (so not in start up or any other event) as:
    Public WithEvents notifyIcon As New System.Windows.Forms.NotifyIcon
    Then throughout in my code if I need to display a message I use notifyIcon.ShowBalloonTip.  This works great, and I run it off the main thread as well as a syncing background worker thread.  The problem is that when I go down and expand the
    system tray, there are often many clones of the icon I use, which then disappear when I hover my mouse over them.
    I understand this isn't an uncommon problem, and it happens also with new email icons in the system tray.  However, is there any way I can prevent this from happening, or best practices I need to abide by?
    In the Shutdown event I use:
    If notifyIcon IsNot Nothing Then
    notifyIcon.Visible = False
    notifyIcon.Dispose()
    End If
    Any help would be much appreciated, since I can't seem to find any definitive info elsewhere online.
    Thanks!
    Tom
    Note: I don't actually use a windows form with the notifyIcon, I just declare it as above... not sure if that affects anything?

    Would this be the same as using the Application_Quit event for the Outlook addin?  Since I've
    seen that in Outlook 2010 onwards it doesn't call the Shutdown event now anymore, so you need to use the Quit event of the application to do any tidy up.  Maybe that is why the icons are remaining.
    Thanks,
    Tom
    Hello,
    Wyck has shared a nice example with a form event, and for outlook 2010, we could deal with that notifyIcon inside application quit event.
    Based on the document below you shared, it seems that you have found the reason, if that issue still exists, please feel free to let us know.

  • Show some text when mouse hover over a component

    Hi,
    I would like to show a couple of lines of text, just to the right hand-side of the component (kind of a mini-pop up menu) everytime the mouse hovers on that component. The focuslistener is in place and working, but I don't know how to implement this 'popup' menu. I don't need to select any of the lines or perform any action on them, just showing them
    thanks

    thanks, that's the component I was looking for (assuming I can now change the fonts, colour etc)
    I have done the following and it kind of works: it should highlight the text and show the tooltip. However, it kind of gets stuck every now and then...two things: it takes some time before the tooltip appears (1 sec): is there a way to make it immediate, simultanous to the highligh? also, I have a few Jtextfield, as you may remember..as I hover the mouse over each of them, it all works fine, but when I go back to a jtextfield previously hovered over and highlighted, nothing happens, until I randomly click around and then works again. Any ideas? thanks a lot
    myJTextField.addMouseListener(new MouseAdapter(){
                     public void mouseEntered(MouseEvent e) {
                        ((JTextField) e.getSource ()).requestFocus();
                        ((JTextField) e.getSource ()).selectAll(); // highlight the text
                        ((JTextField) e.getSource ()).setToolTipText("text");
