Removing navigation bar safari

When the user navigates from the main menu of my hybrid html app this navigation bar always appears on every subsequent html page and pushes the header down. Is there a way to remove the Safari back button and nav bar seen here? I have custom back/forward buttons within the app already for the user to navigate and ideally need to get it fullscreen. I would appreciate any feedback since I have looked everywhere.

I have been searching as well, and I cannot find a good solution. I do most of my navigating using the navigation bar. Now, what used to take one tap takes two or requires a down swipe to access controls I had before. I would really like to get back the functionality I had before the update.

How to remove Navigation Bar entry

Check out the Body of you standard page template. Make a copy of this code prior to experimentation !
Within the Body you may see something like this:

Navigation bar Safari ios 8 ipad

Does anyone know how to disable the feature that causes the top navigation bar to auto minimize in Safari when scrolling down on the ipad? I want to disable as it means I now have to scroll back to the top of a webpage each time I need the nav bar back (to make it reappear) so that I can click back to a previous webpage.

Removing navigation bar from PDF in CE6

I am writing an application for Windows CE6 and I am trying to remove the navigation bars from the PDF presented to the user. The device is loaded with Adobe Reader 9.0. I was told that there is a registry setting that I can change to achieve this functionality but I cannot seem to find it. Could someone help shed some light on my situation?

The registry value name is bExternalTabs. It should be set to a 0 to remove the "Navigation Panel Buttons" and should be removed to enable the functionality. It is placed in the AVGeneral/cDockables registry key. I figured this out by opening a pdf with the Navigation Panel Buttons presented to the user. Then I exported the registry, removed the NPB and exported the registry again. Doing a diff on the two exports revealed what I needed to change.

Removing navigation bar from homepage....

I've noticed on a few iWeb sites that fellow users have created that it's possible to remove the navigation bar that usually resides at the top of the page. I similarly wish to do this as they have done - on my homepage. Can somebody tell me how?

Removing navigation bar after window is opened

Is there a way in java to remove the navagation bar after the window is already open?
I know to rezie the window you can use: window.resizeTo(800,600);
But is there something like this for closing the navagation bar and history?
Any sugestions appriciated..

Javascript is not java, and no you can't hide the toolbar of an existing window (unless you use something like a signed active x control or in some versions of netscape a signed script)

Removing that navigation bar in the new Preview

Is there any way of removing the navigation bar which appears at the bottom of the screen when you view images in Preview's full-screen mode?
Under older operating systems you could at least move shift it to the side, but now it doesn't seem possible to move it at all.

Thanks Tony - it was "slideshow mode" I should have referred to. The black navigator box doesn't appear in full screen mode.
The point remains about slideshow mode - it used to be possible to move the black navigation box, but now it seems to be stuck bottom centre.

Navigation Bar doesn't display in Safari

I just made a website using iWeb '09.
After i published the website, the navigation bar doesn't show up on Safari, Where as when i visit the webpage from any other browser, it works all fine,
I want to fix this issue, Please help!

My problem was that i didn't empty my cache of safari, did that and its all fine...
Answer:
Empty the cache of safari and hit reload!
if it doesn't work then follow the other procedures.

Removing icons from the navigation bar.

I have two icons on my navigation bar that I can't remove. One is from Amazon and the other is from Ebay. I've tried holding Command and dragging them into the trash. Nothing. I've tried using the "customize" option and dragging them there. Still nothing. Any ideas? My Macbook has Mountain Lion as OS. Thanks in advance for any help,

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The navigation bar on my web browser, Firefox. There's a navigation bar at the top of the screen, just under the URL address bar. There are some plug in icons here, but somehow also these icons from Amazon and Ebay. I'd like to remove them. What do you think?

Safari 8. Tab Menu & Navigation Bar

Safari 8 no longer displays the web address of the page being viewed this is extremely annoying ! Its a pain on an iPhone using iOS but ridiculous on a Mac !
Also, we now have a silly arrangement for the tabs. In the previous version of safari it was clear if there were more tabs open than displayed as a little list button appeared on the far right of the tab bar, click that & a list of all open tabs not currently displayed would appear. Simple, neat & tidy.
Now the penultimate 3 tabs reduce in size - not the lat one because that would be too obvious. So it is not clear at a glance what additional tabs, if any, are open. This is made even less obvious by the fonts, font size, colour & fine boarders being employed by Apple in some sort of stealth mission to make applications as difficult to use as possible. Oh, it doesn't end there though, oh no ! If you want to select one of the hidden tabs you have two choices.
1. Slide the tab bar which exposes the hidden tabs hiding the previously exposed list - making it a real pain for anyone switching between tabs.
2. Use the gimmicky tab view (used to be recents - which didn't really have much point).
So the questions are:
1. How can I have the web address of the page I'm viewing displayed (at all times) in the navigation bar, as thats what it's for guys !
2. How can I have a simple drop down list of open tabs as per the previous version of Safari & get rid of the utterly pointless tab view & recents views which only serve to waste space & processor cycles ? I want to actually get some work done, I'm intelligent enough to be able to select what I want from a list of items, I really don't need pretty pictures presented 6 at a time.

It's not in General, but in Advanced on my computer. Four-finger swipe doesn't work on my MBP. Neither does Fn-F10. I did set it to swap Fn-F10 with F10, but F10 doesn't work either.
I used the menu you got by clicking the little icon at top, right corner to reveal all hidden tabs. Now I can't figure out how to access the hidden tabs efficiently. What a pain. The only good part about this is that it will encourage me to close tabs I don't actively use.

Because everybody asked for full screen mode, in which the bar hides when you scroll.
This was a feature added to the iPhone for iOS 7 but was missing on the iPad. It has now been added in iOS 8 to the iPad.
Basically it hides so you can see more of the page.

I dont think that this can be done, because look when you design a application say an iview and use it as a quick link, it will inherit all the properties form default framework,you can disable the TLN & Tool area in default framework i.e. you can hide them but this will affect when you login to portal noramally too, this time too it wont show TLN and other details, i could only figure out one option is create a portal desktop --> assign a default frame work --> disable TLN & other areas, and create ont test role and assign this desktop top to this test role & assign your quick link application to this role,Now when you will access by the same URL, again give credentials, it will take you directly inside the role and it wont show you TLN and othe details.

This is probably a new-user "stupid" question but...how do I
remove the navigation bar from the bottom of the screen?

control bar on a published project that contains play/FF/RW etc...

I was working on configuring my persona look and removed the navigation bar, now I cannot get Firefox to allow me to bring it back. I've right clicked all over the header and no option to replace it is given. What do I do?

From the Menu Bar, try View -> Toolbars -> Navigation Bar, and/or View -> Toolbars -> Customize, and '''Restore Default Set''' in the dialog that appears.
If the menu bar isn't visible either, press Alt, then V, T, M to make it stay.
If that doesn't work, you can reset the toolbar customizations, using the ''Reset toolbars and controls'' option in the [[Safe Mode]] dialog with the '''Make changes and Restart''' option: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode#Safe_Mode_window
