Render a project to FLV

I'm new to Flash authoring, and something seems puzzling. I
see that it is possible in Flash to render an animation (project)
to AVI or MOV video formats, and it seems to work fine (although
you can't choose your AVI codec, which seems like a trivial feature
to put in...*sigh*).
Is there a way to render a Flash animation to FLV? I am
working on a project that will play FLV video files inside an FLV
player object (SWF object). I would like to create FLVs from inside
Flash, using the nifty animation tools and whatnot, and have them
play in the same manner as the other FLV videos created by other
tools (e.g., FinalCut Pro edited video). I realize the FLV is video
only; no interaction, actionscript, etc.
Thank you!

Depending on your version of Flash...you should have an "Export" option as a sub menu under "File".
so Export / Export Movie, then choose the file format you want.

  • When I render my project to a NTSC file for Computer play back, the audio is not rendered and the file has no sound. How do I fix it?

I build my project using videos and photos and I add sound at the end for a few photos. I then render the project to a NTSCDVD Standard file so I can play it on a Computer. Once the file is rendered and I play it, there is no sound at all. I am using Premiere Elements 13, recently installed on 12/29/2015. Previously, I had a trial copy and before I could uninstall it, it disappeared. I don't know if that had any thing to do with my full version.

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running? For now I will assume Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
What are the properties of your source video and photos and what project preset did you (manually) or the project (automatically) set as the project preset
to match those source properties? In this regard, please tell us the readings that you see under Edit Menu/Project Settings/General
    Editing Mode
    Timebase
    Frame Size
    Pixel Aspect Ratio
even if the fields look grayed out.
What is your choice under Publish+Share/Computer/ which is using the NTSC DVD Standard preset? Are you using Publish+Share/Computer/MPEG with the NTSC DVD Standard preset? If so, are you using the default export settings or customizing them in anyway under the Advanced Button/Video Tab or Audio Tab? If you export your Timeline to Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime with a preset = NTSC DV, does your file have sound in the export with your player?
What are you using as the player for this export?
Let us start here and then decide what next?
    Thanks.

  • CS4 How Do I Render a Project in Perfect Quality

I am trying to render a project in 960X720 pixels "as is". So that I can use virtualdub to compress it to XVid afterwards. My source video is ultra sharp. However, after spending 2 hours trying every option available in Premiere, it is impossible for me to render equal quality to my source. All the high end options decide to blur the resulting video.  I haven't applied the blur filter, why is it blurring. I set everything as high as possible.
I have tried Windows Uncompressed, but Premiere seems to think uncompressed requires black borders and fields and alot of blurring.
    What do I do? This isn't for tv nor any mobile devices nor DVD and I don't want the application chosing what it thinks I want. I'm really frustrated here. How do I tell premiere to render exact same as my source files? :{
Anyway, all I want to do is render a 960X720 avi as good as my source that is not meant for TV and is not meant for the web, no matter if the result is 600GB, what do I do?
    Thank you.

To get what you want, use the Microsoft AVI option and on the Video tab under Compressor, choose None
That is what I chose first and it's still blurry. I am not an idiot. It seems all the options within export settings produce blur. While I appreciate your help, your solution produces the most blur.
I have set the aspect ratio to 1:1, width and height to 960X720 (because I have to specify that again), video code:none, render at maximum depth, 32 bits. The gaussian filter is not selected and it's still 10% blurred.

  • Im trying to render a project and need the H264 option although its not appearing in the list.

I'm using the trial mode and I understand I need to activate my serial number. From what I remember I wasnt give one. Should I have one? Thanks in advance.

After Effects Rendering from the render cue is limited to single pass rendering. This is not scheduled to be changed in the near future. Multi pass rendering is a requirement for intra frame compression at best quality so you are asking for something that isn't planned or even wise. That's why h.264 was deprecated from the list.
AME is what Premiere Pro uses to render all video. It has for a while. AME will render AE projects that do not use Ray-traced rendering directly. This allows you to keep working with AE while it's rendering, something that is impossible when using the Render Cue. I can't remember the last time I use the Render Cue. I can't afford the down time.

  • HT1583 When I render my project in IDVD, video and audio runs properly, but when I burn it in professional quality and burning is finished there was no audio on the last two chapters, one audio is attached to the clip and the other one is from itunes, pls

Hi, please help me When I render my project in IDVD, video and audio runs properly, but when I burn it in professional quality and burning is finished there was no audio on the last two chapters, one audio is attached to the clip and the other one is from itunes, pls help

    Hi
    My first two thoughts
    • Shared to Media Browser - BUT as Large or HD - try Medium !
    • audio from iTunes - use to go silent
    - in iTunes
    - Create a new PlayList with needed audio
    - BURN this as a standard Audio-CD (.aiff) - NOT .mp3
    - use the files on this CD in Your Movie project - I ALWAYS DO - and only use .aiff ever - never .mp3'
    My notes on this:
    No audio on DVD disc.
    Most common origin.
    1. Imported audio from iTunes.
    • In iTunes copy out as an Audio-CD .aiff (Same as played on standard Stereo CD - no .mp3)
    • Use this in Your movie project
    2. Low - Free Space on Start-up/Boot/Internal/Mac OS Hard disk makes it hard for iMovie to work as intended.
Down to 1.3 GB and it doesn’t work - especially audio don’t migrate over to Media Browser
    (iM’08 & 09)
    3. Material in iMovie’08 & 09 - Shared to Media Browser and here selected as Large
large.m4v. It silenced out this project in iDVD. By making a slight alteration - provoking it to ask for a new Share/Publish to Media Browser and here selecting 640x480 - and audio was back when a new iDVD project was created including this movie.
    Minuscular - - 176x144
    Mobile - - - - - 480x360
    Medium - - - - 640x480
    Large - - - - - - 720x540    960x540
    HD - - - - - - - - 1280x720
    4. Strange audio formats like .mp3, .avi etc.
    • Change them to .aiff. Use an audio editor like Audacity (free)
    5. Main audio is set to off in System Preferences - Does this by it self - Don’t know why
    Cheque Audio-Out resp. Audio-In
    6. Ed Hanna
Had the same problem; some Googling around gave me a kludgy, but effective fix
Downgrade Perian from recent versions back to version 1.0.
That worked for me, and so far I haven't encountered any deficiencies — except it takes more advanced versions of Perian to enable QuickTime to handle subtitles in .srt format — that I have noticed.
    7. GarageBand fix.
In this set audio to 44.1 kHz (Klaus1 suggestion)
(if this don’t work try 48 kHz - me guessing)
    Before burning the DVD.
    • Do a DiskImage (File menu and down)
    • Double click on the .img file
    • Test it with Apple DVD-player
If it’s OK then make Your DVD.
Burn at x1 speed.... (or x4)
    • In iDVD 08 - or - 09
    • Burn from DiskImage with Apple’s Disk Utilities application
    • OR burn with Roxio Toast™ if You got it

  • How to export FCP project to 'flv file'

I have Final Cut Pro on my Mac and need to export projects as
'flv' for flash. I do not wish to buy the entire flash program but
want to purchase/download an encoder that will allow me to export
from Final Cut into a flv file. Can anyone help with this?

Ok Tom, thanks for helping, will this do for TV screen watching ?

  • What codec to use to render HD project to reopen and then re-edit

I'm new to hd video so please forgive some of my questions.
I do mainly large projects such as weddings conventions etc. I usually render out my projects in 2 parts and I then re-edit the last half and join them and finish my project.
My question is what codec do I render out my project parts to bring back in as one clip to join with the second half.
    Joan

My import is HD and I split my projects into sequences as needed, my workflow habit is backup to make sure my project is protected. I realize I could do sequencing and then copy paste everything to a final sequence but corrupted adobe files over the years has made me more protective of my projects.
I guess my question is can I render my project in part or as a complete project to HD because usually I would burn a dvd to view, and any tweaking I would like to do it on the rendered movie if possible, quicker and easier then re-rendering everything back out.
I have a 2 hr wedding I completed on New Years Eve and I am treating it like any other wedding that i used to shoot on AVI. I made the move to HD and I'm trying to keep my same work habits. I mean the shooting and the actual editing doesn't change, its the media handling that is the bottle neck for me.
I'm assuming most of it is my problems result from my inexperience with the HD format handling.
To reword the question to I have save my movies as an sd movie which is a basic avi and I can export back in and re-edit in adobe if I choose to. Do I have the same options in HD

  • With fcp can you render/burn project to dvd?

Can Final Cut Pro render/Burn project to a DVD?

FCPX has a basic Export to DVD feature which will finally burn a disk.
'basic' because it has no fancy design nor menu options such as iDVD, DVDSP or Encore etc.-

  • "Unknown Error" all the time, every time on render of project, any codec

Trying to render a feature length documentary for a film festival (ie.. I don't have time for this). The project timeline runs 1 hour and 20 minutes. If I try and export or queue the timeline in media encoder to h.264, QuickTime or Select "Match Sequence Settings" as my output format, the media encoder fails to render with the very informative "UNKNOW ERROR" every time at random point in the render procedure. When rendering it as an mpeg once, I am able to see one place where it crashed. It is a place in the timeline where the are no transition, not cuts, no overlays, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. Yet, it crashed there this time. Next time, it will crash elsewhere.
I am trying to render the timeline on segment at a time. So far, each smaller segment of 20 minute blocks seems to be rending just fine and goes past the points where other renders failed. Looks like Media Encoder can't handle large projects.
Here's all the requested information for a complete diagnosis of the problem.
Error given to me by Media Encoder : "Unknown Error" --that's it. The time rendered varies between 43 minutes and 3 hours.

    05/03/2015 05:59:03 PM : Encoding Failed

I'm right handed, my favorite color is blue, the computer is on the Eastern TimeZone
I need this timeline rendered and I'm not interested becoming a forensic-level technical authority on Premiere to get it. This problem has come and gone now for months and is intolerable. I pay for software and I expect it to work, and at least give me something more useful than "UNKNOW ERROR." There is no such thing. As a former developer, I can say with authority that simply dumping to a message that says this is lazy and sloppy programming. Buffer underruns, stack overflows..whatever. Everything is caused by something. I can't begin to diagnose this problem unless Adobe provides software error handing that gives me some idea of what happens. Where did it happen in the timeline? What routine/subroutine gave the error? Was it a codec error? Come on....these things are not unknowable.
Adobe, PLEASE stop coming out with new features when you can't make your existing pay by the month software reliable! Maybe FCPX is worth another look.

    UPDATE:
tried rending the entire project as Quicktime ProRes 422 (since that is what clips were recorded in originally anyway) and Media Encoder gto 89% complete....and the entire application CRASHED. WHO-HOO! Way to go, Adobe!!!!!
Here's part of the crash report if it means anything. Maybe I'll try it again and see if anything changes! Can't get any worse.

  • Is there a way to render multiple projects in FCP

Im currently working with an iMac alum 2.66 with final cut studio 2. Im making a lot of videos for web for a client in HDV and using motion templates and such. Most of the videos are 2 and a half to 3 minutes. It takes me about 20 minutes to do a video but 25 to 30 minutes of rendering. I was wondering if there was a way to render a couple projects or sequences at the same time to speed up on time working, say work on 5 videos and then render and leave and go about my day. That kind of thing.

Select your sequences in the Browser -- Command-click to select multiple -- then press Option-R, which is FCP's Render All function.
Speaking of that function (in the Menubar, Sequence > Render All), make sure that the kinds of renders that you want -- Full, Unlimited, Preview, etc -- are selected.
The default settings select everything except Full (aka The Dark Green Line) which may (or may not) be a hassle for you. I know when I'm going out to a QT file, I want Full selected when I do Option-R, otherwise I burn extra time as FCP must 'render' that material on export.

  • Exporting Motion project as FLV (Flash)

Does anyone know the best way to export a project as a FLV (flash)?
If that is not possible I think it should be added with the great things you can do to the online streaming.
    What does everyone think?

I figured that would be a way, but I was wondering if it could be done straight from Motion its self. I guess I will bring it straight back to FCP to do it.
I still think having that plug in part of motion is a great way to finish up a project that will be going to the web.

  • Missing render file/project will not render

I'm new to using FCE - just got my iMac with FCE pre-installed a few weeks ago - and have run into a big problem with current project. When I open the program, it tells me one render file is offline and I can reconnect or continue. I have no idea where the file could possibly have gone, so I select 'continue'. But now the project will not render. I have four sequences open in the project file, and have tried everything - locking and unlocking tracks, selecting various combinations of render both, render all, render selection, rendering only audio or video, etc. All the appropriate render selections are checked in every option. But still, the project won't render any of the sequences; the render box comes up for a split second and goes away faster than the eye can follow. I've tried setting the scratch disk; that didn't help. I tried saving the project, closing and opening the project, etc. Nothing helps. It just won't render. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this problem?

When I say it won't render, I literally mean nothing happens when I hit the render command. I see the red timeline render bars. However, I see them only when I go to export the video as something else - a mov, dv stream, etc. In the project while working, there's nothing indicating render is required.
To try and solve this problem of the missing audio clip, I opened a new project and imported the .mov file I was working with initially, which theoretically should have all its parts intact. I made the necessary modifications to the file (essentially starting all over) and then attempted to render. It still won't render. Nothing happens at all when I click any of the render options, even after I've made modifications to the video that would clearly require render - changing the aspect ratio and applying a widescreen video filter. So the program should recognize the changes and render, but nothing happens, whether I choose render from the menu or hit the keyboard shortcut.
I'm a little hesitant to try scrapping the preferences as suggested above, but I am totally perplexed.

  • Every time FCPX starts I have to render my project

I experience a really awful problem...
Every time I start my project I have to re-render the whole timeline.
I'm using the latest version of everything, also from the CoreMelt plug-in I'm using in this project.
As long as the project is short this doesn't happen, but after 2 minutes project lenght this happens all the time.
I have 64 GB RAM so this should not be the problem.
The plugin developer stated that this is a FCPX background rendering problem, but when I switch it off it's not getting better.
Then I have to render it manually, before I can edit/watch the project.
I have one of the fastest MaPro's available 12 core and I work on a SSD-RAID0 with highest Data-Rates...
So what is the problem and how to solve this??

    wolfgang,
does this happen if you delete the coremelt fx from the clips ?
I have never had this problem. But I did demo the coremelt plugs and they gave me nothing but H++++
Not saying they are the culprit... But if FCPx was at fault I think we'd be hearing more of it...
Try creating a fresh project with no core melt of other effects in it but with the same clips.. Then render the timeline. Quit FCPx and relaunch and see if the problem persists...
    If it does
    Try deleting
    /Users/YourFolder/Library/Caches/ EVERYTHING FCPx
    /Users/YourFolder/Library/Preferences/ EVERYTHING FCPx
Reboot with shift held.. Then log it.. Then reboot normally

Hy Dave, I have no encoder, I'am doing export via conversion quicktime (I have quicktime pro) and usually I did it for .mov, but when I ask him FLV options, he is doing it but slowly and also he is not answering so you have to stop fcp, it is not usefull. thank you to tell me if you know exactly what I have to do. My issue is to convert in flv files when I finish the fcp project (to give to people who have a website for example and who didn't want .mov file who is too large).
