Reply window semi freezes and can't type in a reply when...

there seems to be links contained in a message or from a particular user. Strange behavior follows where I can't type in the within the message nor can I close the window. Must quit and restart Mail to close the window. Same thing happens again if I attempt to reply to the same message. Anyone experience similar strange behavior in Mail?

I've played around a bit with the settings and have pinpointed it to occur when there is a message (apparently with links (in this case more than 4) ) that Apple Mail doesn't like (yet it doesn't mark it as junk) and you have "quote text of original messages" (which I believe is default and as well as necessity when repsonding) the reply button doesn't work by selecting the message and hitting the reply or selecting reply from the Menu (forwarding also doesn't work) You can get a bit further by opening the message and then hit reply, but you end up in no mans land because you can't type in the message nor can you close the window. I end up quitting Mail which reopens to the message view this time allowing you to close the window upon which you'll find other instances of the message in draft for each time you attempted to close it. Then you can delete and get back to where you were with exeception of being able to relpy to that particular message until after you turn off the "quote" setting in preferences. If you want to then go back and reply to that user from that message, you can can turn off the quote preference but then you just end up with an empty message. In other words you might as well start a new message to the same party and then you can actually go back and copy and paste the latest message.
So in sum - Identification of a bug as well as presentation of a work around. I'll report to Apple...

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

I just got a call about this exact issue today!
The person is at a Marriott hotel which uses some type of company called STSN for their internet connection via both Ethernet and Wifi.

I'm waiting for them to call me back after trying every trouble shooting step I could think of. My only guess now is that it's Safari's pop up blocker blocking some kind of navigation or log-in window. I'm going to tell them to turn off pop-up blocker menu choice next.
After that it's turning off Java and Javascript to see if the have any affect.
Btw, they're experiencing this propblem on a TiBook G4. Also tried a new user account and two other pre-existing accounts but all had the same issue. Both with Ethernet and WiFi the problem remained.

I don't know how rare this is. I went a week or so without a problem, and now it's starting to recur. Also, in some instances, an email will look unsent (remain in the outbox on the Treo), but it has been sent, and recipients are replying while I'm trying to figure out what is going on. Further, it will send the same email over and over during this madness.
This is a show stopper. If there isn't a software fix soon, I may chuck this phone in the garbage.

UPDATE: The problem comes and goes. The next day, no changes to the treo, everything workeds. Now i'm suspecting the sprint server, and how it/the phone responds from failing to send while roaming. I've since turned off roaming, and haven't had a problem for several days.

It sounds like your phone touchscreen is not consistently working for you after updating to iOS 8. I can see how that would be pretty frustrating. It sounds to me like this could be a software issue or an issue with the screen itself. I would start with the troubleshooting in the following article to help troubleshoot the screen itself:
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Troubleshooting touchscreen response
Restart your device
Hold the On/Off button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the On/Off button to turn it back on.
If you can't restart your device, reset it by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for a least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Avoid using the device while wearing gloves, with wet hands, or immediately after applying hand lotion.
If you have a protective case, or if you are using a plastic sheet or film on the display, try removing them and testing the device without it.
If that does not resolve the issue, I would next quit all the running apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

Reboot your iPad and then see if you can set the security questions.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

No, you can easily migrate your entire library from one working compter to another.
If you fail to backup or migrate your library and find yourself with nothing but a new empty computer and a device full of content iTunes is designed to only recover the iTunes purchased content, however third party tools can help recover everything if needed.

It sounds like your available free space is not reporting properly. I would start by quitting the Settings app:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.

PS3 Freezing and can't connect the wifi

First of all I was playing Minecraft then I had a error code (forgot which one) and I was signed out of PSN and I my wifi could not connect to my PS3 and i did the connection test all over Youtube and for hours I was sitting in front of the T.V. don't know what to do. But then I tried turning the power off which only led to it freezing.I tried restoring the database,I tried refilling the corrupt files,I did this,I did that but nothing worked. So please anwser me and contact me about both wifi connection and my PS3 freezing.

You say that your files is corrupt and it freezes? Maybe it could be bad sectors on the harddrive? Hard to say what's the problem could be though... Best thing to do it to evaluate what could be wrong. Have you tried to backup your game saves and formated your harddrive? Have you tried to connect through an ethernet cable and not WIFI? If it works through a cable it could be faulty PS3 settings or your router. You can also try to reset you router. Or shout down the router for 5 mins and start it up again. If you see that error code again you can also type it down and use Google to find any solution.

Itunes freezing and can't upload from a CD

We have uploaded itunes to a new laptop with Windows 7 and it freezes and will not upload songs. It also says to change the compatibility settings which appears to be quite complaicated...any advice? We've tried uninstalling and re-installing and this has not worked. We've also tried multiple CD's with no luck (although we had no problems uploading them a week ago) one track did load but it came out crackly. Thanks in advance!

The above link was really helpful thanks. It has got rid of the message when I open itunes. However, I still can't import a CD. It goes through the motions and recognises there is a CD but when I click import it starts to do it and then freezes. Once or twice it has imported the first track but the sound quality is awful. We've tried multiple CD's to make sure it's not a problem there and my boyfriend has managed to upload CD's previously...any ideas? I think it may be the disc drive itself, but we want to investigate itunes first rather than return the laptop. Thanks for your help.
