  • Change COPA Report - need to add Variable and Characteristics

    Hello,
    I need to change the existing COPA report, Need to add WBS element as a selection criteria and also a characteristics so it can be drilled down.  Create WBS as a global variable in KE3E and it is not showing up in when i change the report in KE30 in the available list of characteristics. And also it is not showing up in KE35 when i change the general selection to add as a Variable.

    Go to KE91 and create the report.
    In KE91, the Characteristic Cost element (KSTAR) is available.  Add it as below.
    Cost Element      ....   Check the box Hierarchy node ......   check the box Variable on/off   ......          KSTAR......     Cost element.
    After this, just check in Variable, the Cost element shuold appear
    Line item based reports are defined in KE91 (segment level reports in KE31).
    Both types of reports can be started in KE30 and changed in KE32
    Let us know if you still have any queries
    Thanks

  • How can I just display the selected value of a listbox in a report without the reverse display and selection buttons?

    I am using a table which contains a text field with a lookup. I want to use the selected value of this field in a form which is acting as a selection form. No editing of the field's value is permitted. How do I just display the value of the field (which
    is considered a listbox on the form) without the reverse display and the up and down selection buttons.
    I can provide an illustration of the condition I am trying to overcome, but this system doesn't accept it.
    Thank you for any suggestions or clarification you can provide.
    Marj Weir

    Thank you.  I'll try that approach.
    I found, after much experimentation, on a similar problem involving a multiselect lookup field,  that if I make the field invisible, and add a  textbox that displays the fieldname plus .column(0), it displays all the selected entries.
    E.g.: staff.Column(0)
    Staff is the field containing the last names of selected staff members.
    staff.Value only shows the first name in the lookup list whether it is checked or not, so this is useless.
    staff.column(0), however, (inexplicably) shows all the selected names, e.g. Jones, Smith, Wiggins.

  • Cross-tab report: need to SUM field and present as HH:MM:SS format

    I am creating a cross-tab report and several of the selected data fields I need to summarize are time-based fields, which are stored as seconds in the database.  When I create a standard report, the formula to convert the seconds to HH:MM:SS and SUM works just fine, but when I try to bring that formula field into the cross-tab report, it does a COUNT on it rather than a SUM.
    How can I get it to SUM that data and present it in an HH:MM:SS format in the cross-tab report?
    Here is the formula I'm using in the Standard Report to convert from seconds to HH:MM:SS and SUM the data.
    totext(abs((Sum ({wagent.acwtime})) / 3600),"00") & ":" &
    totext(abs(remainder((Sum ({wagent.acwtime})),3600) / 60),"00") & ":" &
    totext(abs(remainder(remainder((Sum ({wagent.acwtime})),3600),60)),"00");

    In the cross tab, do the sum on {wagent.acwtime}.  In the cross tab on the page, right click on the field for the sum, select Format, press the X-2 next to Display String, and enter your three line formula, replacing {wagent.acwtime} with CurrentFieldValue.

  • Report Needed to show WBS and Profit Center on Invoices

    I need a report of open and cleared invoices that show the WBS and Profit Center.
    I have tried the FBL5N and it doesn't populate it. Any other reports out there???

    You dont have to join them. Keep both profit center and cost centre in the cube. While defining the update rules, derive profit center from cot centre.
    In the report , keep profit center and cost centre as free char.
    The users can dynamically drill down and view the report for cost centre or profit centre or both.
    Another idea is to keep profit centre as a nav attribute in the cube and in that case, you dont have to derive profit centre from cost centre in the update rules.

  • Report Painter Long Text Display and fiscal year

    Hi Gurus'
    Could you pls let me know, how do I get Long text in the report.  Usually we get medium text.
    And in the selection screen if i have like:
    Company code
    Fiscal year
    Period
    How do I get the text along with the Fiscal year.
    Like Revenue 2008
    Regards,
    SK

    Hi,
    For displaying long text in rows or column,
    go to menu bar>Formatting>Rows/column texts. Under this tab, you can select shot, medium, long as required for both rows and columns.
    Further, to display fiscal year along with text in column, you must have asisgned variable for fiscal year in column. Go to text of the column and mention &variable of fiscal year assigned for the column after the text.
    Reward points if useful.

  • How do you undock a thunderbolt connected display and drives?

    Hi
    This question goes out to anyone using Apples Thunderbolt display and an Apple laptop.
    The new Retina display MacBook might just win me over from my trusty MacBook Air  and iMac combination I.e. it would replace both of them.
    But I would need an external display and something to dock my FireWire disk drives to so the Thunderbolt display looks like a good option.
    HOWEVER, I would reasonably frequently need to 'undock' the MacBook to go out to a meeting and would need to easily eject all my attached drives.
    Is there an easy way to do this, or do I need to remember to manually eject each one before disconnecting the Thunderbolt cable from the laptop?
    Looking forward to some good answers!!!!!
    Robin

    I've written a small applescript and exported it as an application that you can run each time you want to eject all your drives.
    It systematically ejects each external drive until they're all gone, then it will be safe to remove the thunderbolt cable.
    You can get it here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/knwyt25fxhz6ilq/Qo0omdJAmC

  • Web Reporting - Converting HTML to PDF and displaying

    Does any know of a method to convert the html data stream to a PDF format so it may be returned to the browser for printing?

    i created an Help Service which can convert the current Web Application State to Pdf and it displays it automatical in the browser window. Charts and all the other stuff is also converted.
    This is only on-top of a complex PDF Framework which offers features you request for example.
    Batch support. Load balancing. Stylesheet support. Report Books. There are Convenience Classes in ABAP which support Template ID in PDF-Bytestream out. Sent PDF as mail. publish to Portal. Information Broadcasting integration etc.
    the advatnage of this solution is that the conversion is performed on the Server and not on the client which means you need only one license, and not for each client...
    i hope this helps.
    best regards.

  • Would Like to Get Report of Daily Emails In and Out from Members to a DL Exchange version : 2007 I am the supervisor for the group and want to quantify this information. I do not need to see the content, just quantity is it possible ?

    Would Like to Get Report of Daily Emails In and Out from Members to a DL
    Exchange version : 2007
    I am the supervisor for the group and want to quantify this information. I do not need to see the content, just quantity
    is it possible ?

    Well, distribution groups don't really have a concept of "in" or "out". They only serve to distribute messages sent to them -- unless you're asking to know who was a member of the distribution group at the time a message was sent to the DL.
    Message tracking logs hold the information you want, though. You'd have to look for EXPAND events that reference the distribution group and take the sender's e-mail address from that event. If the DL is a simple one that's not a member of any other groups
    you could also look for RECEIVE events sent to the e-mail address of the group and get the sender's name from that event.
    You can use Powershell extract the rows of data from the logs, but you'll have to write the code to get the data out of those rows and into a format you want. Perhaps LogParser could be useful in place of Powershell?

  • ALV report display online and generate in spool

    Dear expert,
    I have created an ALV report. I want to run this report online. After executed, the report is displayed. After display this report, I also want to generate the output report in the spool. Is there any way to do this? Thank you.
    I have tried to use submit...to SAP Spool. in this way, it will generate the spool, but it will not display the report online. I want it both display online and generate a spool.

    well forget yout the new-page print on thingie, since you use ALV.
    if you had a write list this trick would be cool since you just could do following:
    Do 2 times.
      if sy-index GT 1.
        new page print on.
      endif.
      loop at itab into wa.
        write stuff....
      endloop.
      if sy-index GT 1.
        new page print off.
      endif.
    enddo.
    /edit arrrgh forgot to write further...
    with your ALV you could process a write list as well after displaying but you will have layout differences between your display and your spool then and i dont think that this is what you want/need.
    you could however after display process your programm a second time, in background task and give it a printer where to print to. Since ALV wont get executed in background task you will get a spool instead.

  • Need to get .ENV and reports.sh set up correctly for 9i/WebUtil

    We have been editing default.env, a app-specific version of default.env called duris.env, and reports. sh, trying to fix the conflict between Forms WebUtil and Reports in 9.0.2.0.1. Now, it's to the point that I can't even run Reports from Forms without core dumping(direct URL calls to Reports work fine) .

    # <percent>LD_LIBRARY_PATH<percent> should be replaced with the

    # time). That should ensure we have the paths for such necessities as
    # the motif and X11 libraries.
    # Explanations:
    # - Reports needs the path for libjava.so
    # (/cdm/solaris/o_jdk/1_2_2_0_0/jre/lib/sparc)
    # - Forms needs two paths to the jre, for libjvm.so and libhpi.so
    # - In ojdk 1.3.1 the location of libjvm.so is lib/sparc (there is no
    # classic directory) so we do not include the .../classic directory
    # below. There are other versions of libjvm.so (in directories server,
    # client and hotspot) but we will use the version in lib/sparc for now.

  • Need a PurchaseOrder SmartForm and SAPScript Report.

    Hi all:,
    I need a sample report for PO for SAPScript and Smartform, I am getting some problems, so I wanna to comapre these reports with my reports, can any one help me plzzzzzzzzzzz.

    Hi Naimesh,
    Thanks for your quick response.
    Here is my SAP SCRIPT ADDRESS window:
    In that my requirment :
    Ensure that the distance between 2 words must be a minimum of 1 character, a maximum of 3 in Address window.
    I didn't understand how to do that with CONDENSE command:
    ADDRESS PARAGRAPH AS
      TITLE       &ADRS-ANRED&
      NAME        &ADRS-NAME1&,&ADRS-NAME2&,&ADRS-NAME3&,&ADRS-NAME4&
      STREET      &ADRS-STRAS&
      POBOX       &ADRS-PFACH& CODE &ADRS-PSTL2& CITY &ADRS-PFORT&
      POSTCODE    &ADRS-PSTLZ&
      REGION      &ADRS-REGIO&
      CITY        &ADRS-ORT01&, &ADRS-ORT02&
      COUNTRY     &ADRS-LAND1&
      FROMCOUNTRY &ADRS-INLND&
    ENDADDRESS
    1) How to add that  command in above window. Is it correct?
       Ex:  NAME  CONDENSE  &ADRS-NAME1&
    2) If I use CONDENSE command, it displays one space between two words. But in my requirement I need to set up like gap is minimum 1 space and maximaum 3 spaces. Please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Monica

    Hi all,
    Could someone please explain to me how I can have oracle reports (6i) in different langauges. My reports were created in english and now needs to converted to other langauges eg to display the report on the web in German or French.... At the present moment i have the reports displayed using RWCGI60 in IIS web server.
    Thanks in advance..

    Hi,
    Are you linking correclty the "key" structure?
    Say, for example:
      gs_key-header01 = 'ACCOUNT'.
      gs_key-item01 = 'ACCOUNT'.
    This should link your two tables by the "account" field.
    and the call to the function
      CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY'
          EXPORTING
            i_callback_program = sy-repid
            it_fieldcat                 = gt_fieldcat
            i_tabname_header  = 'GT_HEADER'
            i_tabname_item       = 'GT_ITEM'
            is_keyinfo                = gs_key
          TABLES
            t_outtab_header    = gt_header
            t_outtab_item      = gt_item
          EXCEPTIONS
            program_error      = 1
            OTHERS             = 2.
