Report of PO changes - Tables

Dear All,
When i make some changes in service PO in Service Tab . Specially Qty change
When i go to CDHDR or CDPOS.  there is no updation found in these tables.
Any Help ! As i want the report new Qty as Well As Old Qty
Regards,
Pardeep Malik

Hi,
Changes can be viewed in PO itself by selecting the line item and then click Environment --> Item Changes.
Also you will get the change details in CDHDR & CDPOS Tables.
Go to SE11 and for Table CDPOS, search changes for object "MM_SERVICE"  OR for table "ESLL" and fields "MENGE" & "NETWR"

  • Crystal Reports XI does not allow to change Table to SQL command?

    I have report that has Table in Datasource and this table used in report and all fileds are mapped. I need to change table to SQL Command with the same result set of collumns. When I try to Update in Set Datasource Location - it does not work. CR XI allow to update Command to table but Table to Command just do nothing.
    What I have to do or how I can do it?

    Alexander,
    That's probably the "Best" way to do it, and long term you'll want to start adding BOE to your work flow.
    If you want to get around it, here how:
    1) MAKE A COPY OF YOUR REPORT AND WORK FROM THE COPY!!! This involves some a good deal of destruction before you get into reconstruction.
    2) Once you have created your command, remove the table.
    3) Now the fun part... Go through report and manually change all references to the 1st table...
       report fields
       formulas
       selection criteria
       groups
       the whole 9 yards...
    A short cut for the future... If you make all of your formula copies of all of your fields ( fCustomerName = {Table.CustomerName} ) and then only use the formula version of the field in the reports, you can make these changes very easily. (All you have to do is update the one set of formulas.)
    Also as a side note before you get started... You may want to think twice before you mix commands with tables. You loose the server side filtering and grouping on the tables when you do that.  So if you have several tables, you are better off doing the whole thing in one SQL command, do all of your filtering and sorting there and use it to replace ALL of your tables.
    Basically, Graham's way is the easy way... Assuming you have access to the BOE.

  • Change table data without tabular report

    Hi,
    I am very new the APEX, and PL/SQL for that matter, but hope this is not too newbie.
    I am trying to make a page with a report where I can change table values by ediiting text in report columns. I have tried to use tabular report but since my source pl/sql includes a search etc I am not able to write SQL which is accepted as SQL updatable report.... this is my source which works with search:
    declare
    q varchar(32767);
    begin
    --Search with no text
    if(:p1_report_search IS NULL) then
    q := 'select * from tpd_delivery_detail';
    --Search According to criteria
    else
    q := 'select *
    from tpd_delivery_detail
    where upper(trim(:p1_report_search)) '||:P1_OPERATOR||' upper(trim('||:p1_in||')) ';
    end if;
    return q;
    end;
    So my first question is if it is possible to write this as SQL updatable report, and if how?
    Then I have a process which start when a button is pressed which is:
    declare
    l_colA tpd_delivery_detail.status%TYPE;
    l_colB tpd_delivery_detail.usr_comment%TYPE;
    begin
    for i in 1..apex_application.g_f01.count
    loop
    select status
    , usr_comment
    into l_colA
    , l_colB
    from tpd_delivery_detail
    where id = apex_application.g_f01(i);
    if l_colA != apex_application.g_f12(i) or l_colB != apex_application.g_f13(i) then
    update tpd_delivery_detail
    set status = apex_application.g_f12(i), usr_comment = apex_application.g_f13(i)
    where id = apex_application.g_f01(i);
    end if;
    end loop;
    end;
    In the process I try to to see if any of the two updatable columns are changed and needs updating, and if so update. Here my problem is the apex_application.g_f01(i) which when i is a number refering to the row...cant get the apex_application.g_f01(i) to refer to the data in the report.
    My question is how I can use the apex_application.g_f (suspect you can only use for tabular report) or if there is another easy way to do the updates I want?
    Best regards
    Alex

    Is it common to implement TDMS without scrambling sensitive data? => This depends on the customer situation , if you feel that you have very sensitive data in sender system and do not want to expose this data to users in receiver system , then for sure scrambling is the way else leave it .
    Or to change table auth groups in one system and not in another?=> I do not understand the need of doing this , can you elaborate a bit more .

  • Report for the changes made in Purchase Order

    Hi Friends,
    In my location, changes are made to the purchase orders as and when required. Is there any report which shows the changes made to the Purchase Orders?? I am aware of the Item changes option in the Purchase Order.
    Thanks in advance..
    Regards,
    Phani

    Hi,
    You have to develope an own ABAP report for this, based on the change tables CDHDR and CDPOS
    CDHDR - Header Change
    CDPOS - Item Change
    EREV - Version Change
    Check the link

  • [Forum FAQ] How do I send an email to users when the data in the report have been changed in Reporting Services?

    Introduction
    There is a scenario that the data in the report changes infrequently, so the users want to be informed and get the most updated data once the data changes. By default, report server always run the report with the most recent data. Is there a way that we
    can subscribe the report, so that we can send an email to users when the data in the report has been changed?
    Solution
    To achieve this requirement, we can create a subscription for the report, then create a trigger in the table which including the report data. When this table has data insert, update or delete, it will be triggered and execute the subscription to send email
    to users.
    In the Report Manager, create a subscription for the report and make it only execute one time.
    When we create a subscription, a corresponding SQL Agent job will be created. Then we can use the query below to find out the job based on ScheduleId:
    -- List all SSRS subscriptions
    USE [ReportServer];  -- You may change the database name.
    GO
    SELECT USR.UserName AS SubscriptionOwner
          ,SUB.ModifiedDate
          ,SUB.[Description]
          ,SUB.EventType
          ,SUB.DeliveryExtension
          ,SUB.LastStatus
          ,SUB.LastRunTime
          ,SCH.NextRunTime
          ,SCH.Name AS ScheduleName
              ,RS.ScheduleId
          ,CAT.[Path] AS ReportPath
          ,CAT.[Description] AS ReportDescription
    FROM dbo.Subscriptions AS SUB
         INNER JOIN dbo.Users AS USR
             ON SUB.OwnerID = USR.UserID
         INNER JOIN dbo.[Catalog] AS CAT
             ON SUB.Report_OID = CAT.ItemID
         INNER JOIN dbo.ReportSchedule AS RS
             ON SUB.Report_OID = RS.ReportID
                AND SUB.SubscriptionID = RS.SubscriptionID
         INNER JOIN dbo.Schedule AS SCH
             ON RS.ScheduleID = SCH.ScheduleID
    ORDER BY USR.UserName
             ,SUB.ModifiedDate ;
    Create a trigger in the table which including the report data.
    CREATE TRIGGER reminder
    ON test.dbo.users
    AFTER INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE
    AS
    exec [ReportServer].dbo.AddEvent @EventType='TimedSubscription', @EventData='b64ce7ec-d598-45cd-bbc2-ea202e0c129d'
    Please note that the command ‘exec [ReportServer].dbo.AddEvent @EventType='TimedSubscription', @EventData='b64ce7ec-d598-45cd-bbc2-ea202e0c129d'’ is coming from the job properties. We can go to SQL Server Agent Jobs, right-click the corresponding job to open
    the Steps, copy the step command, and then paste it to the query.
    Then when the user table has data insert, update or delete, the trigger will be triggered and execute the subscription to send email to users.

    Thanks,
    Is this a supported scenario, or does it use unsupported features?
    For example, can we call exec [ReportServer].dbo.AddEvent @EventType='TimedSubscription', @EventData='b64ce7ec-d598-45cd-bbc2-ea202e0c129d'
    in a supported way?

  • Specify field mapping when changing table location

    I want to change the tables in a report to refer to database tables with a different schema, and specify the mapping of fields in code.
    I already have code that changes table locations successfully when the schema does not differ, using the RAS API. As far as I can tell, the RAS API doesn't have a way of handling schema differences. Is that true?
    OTOH, the higher-level CR API does appear to have a mechanism to do field mapping, using the FieldMapping event in the ReportDocument class. I've been trying to use this API for the job, but I don't seem to be able to change the location of a table in the report.
    Here's an example scenario:
    The report was created using an ODBC data source Source1 that contains a table Table1
    I have an ODBC data source Source2 that contains Table1 as well as a table Table2 that is identical to Table1 except that the field names are all slightly different
    I want to change the report so that it uses Table2 in Source2
    I've managed to get the report switched to Source2 with code like this:
    report.DataSourceConnections[0].SetConnection("Source2", "", id, pwd);
    Here's the code I'm using to try to change the report table to refer to Table2:
                Table table = report.Database.Tables[0]; // only one table in the report
                TableLogOnInfo logOnInfo = table.LogOnInfo;
                logOnInfo.TableName = "Table2";
                table.ApplyLogOnInfo(logOnInfo);
                report.VerifyDatabase();
    I've also tried the simpler
    table.Location = "Table2";
    Neither approach changes the table location. I know this because when I preview the report I see data. Since the field names are all different, changing the location should have removed all the fields from the report. (Also, the event handler I have hooked up to the FieldMapping event is not called. Yes, I did enable the event in the ReportDocument.)
    So:
    How do you change the location of a table using the high-level API?
    If you change the location using the RAS API, is the FieldMapping event fired? (Haven't tried this, but somehow I doubt it.)
    Is there a way to do field mapping with the RAS API?
    Thanks!

    Hi Rick
    This is not considered a bug. It is a limitation that has been discusses extensively in many of our internal meetings. The implementation job proved to be much too massive and with highly limited ROI. E.g.; the number of requests for the feature is just not there...

  • Add a Select List to a Report, for Updating a table.

    I am working on Apex 3.0. I had to allow the Report could update a table. I added two checkbox to the report, and now I should add a Select List. I've tried a lot of ways but I don't know how can I pass the value selected, related to the ID of the row. I've tried with a JavaScript but I couldn't. A process should update the row on the DB when the user change the value on the select list. There is a save button that perform the process. How I could pass the ID of the row and the value to a PL/SQL process?

  • Change tables order

    Hi
    I'm trying to do a java application, using unmanaged ras, which change tables order.
    I tried 2 methods but the two of them seems to have a bug.
    In the first one I tried to move one table to the end and when i displayed the tabels looked just fine but when I save the report the changes are lost.
    In the second I saved the table in a temporary table I removed it (after i erase manually the field from the report just to see if this method works) and then I add the saved table.This method do what I want except the fact that the newtable that I add had other connection info even if i put it the connection info from the erased table.And now is like I select the data from 2 different datasources and I don't want that.I use odbc connection and the old table has
    Database DLL : crdb_odbc.dll and the new one has Database DLL:crdb_query.dll and this is not the only difference.
    Here I paste part of my code to clarify the things:
      public static void main( String[] args )
              init();     //this method initialize the ras server I don't paste
                            //the code because this works just fine and I think is

    Hi Jason,
    How to change the order of tables within sheets
    Make a table active by clicking in it once to select that table, then drag it by the 'bullseye' (top left, I have placed a red circle to show the bullseye):
    After dragging the table down:
    Table 1 is now below Table 2.
    The blue line is an Alignment Guide
    Two types of Guide:
    1. Menu > View >Show Rulers. Drag Alignment Guides from a ruler to where you want them.
    2. Menu > Numbers > Preferences > Rulers > Alignment Guides. Turn on (tick) both guides. That allows you to align objects with *each other* (as well as with the ruler guides). These guides help to align objects left, middle, right, top, bottom.
    Alignment Guides do not show unless you are moving an object.
    to drag/move table to another sheet in the one file
    Not possible in Numbers 3. The Sheets Pane has gone. Instead, select the entire table (click once in the table to make it active, then click on the bullseye). Copy (or Cut if you are brave). Go to another Sheet and Paste.
    Also can you change the size of sheet tab width on tab toolbar, so I can see more sheets at once??
    No. Let's hope this will be added in future updates. However, you can drag a Sheet tab left or right to reorder them.
    Another tip: each Sheet tab shows the contents of that Sheet, with some options such as Duplicate and Delete:

  • Reports on data changes

    Hi all!
    I've been searching for the most simple solution for tracking changes made to database data. I know there are some posts about this already but I haven't fuound suitable solution yet. I've been searcing for Orcale built in solutions and came up with Workspace manager and AUDIT statement for keeping the track on data changes.
    I'm wondering, is there another option to do this or is it best to make own history tables and triggers on INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE? If these history tables have similar structure like original tables, what happens when table is altered, a column is added or dropped?
    All I need is to be able to make reports on data changes. Basically I need to know who changed what column, what the old value was (NULL on INSERTs) and what the new value is (NULL on DELETEs).
    Does anyone have any simple and effective solution for this. Maybe some Oracle built in feature I haven't found out about yet? (We're using 10gR2)
    Thank you in advance!
    BB

    Well I came up with some solution :).
    Since we have our owns user and timestamp fields on almost every table and triggers, taht fill these two columns, it wasn't that difficult after you suggested your solution.
    I include my user column into change table and in JDeveloper in application module I've overridden the prepareSession method with custom method that sets identifier on the database. It looked OK. Bu now I have a couple of questions about CDC and really hope for some answers since I'm running a little out of time and would appreciate any help from someone that uses CDC or knows more about it than I do.
    I've been reading literature and found out, that there is a job executing every 24 hours that clears all data changes that is not subscribed to some subscriber. I thought I could use only the publisher for my history records but looks like I was wrong. So I've created a subscriber. My questions are:
    1. Do I need a subscriber or can I keep history without and make reports on change tables?
    2. Even if I need subscriber, how can I be sure, that data from change tables or subscriber views won't disappear eventually?
    As I mentioned I need some kind of a history of data changes recording option and went after CDC. I hope I made the right decision and would really like to found out the answers to my questions.
    Thank you all in advance!
    Take care.

  • Report to track changes to infotypes prior to running the  payroll interfac

    wants a report to track changes to infotypes prior to running the  payroll interface.  The attached report looks like it should work but it returns nothing.  Is there config that turns on "Track Changes": for select infotypes?  If so, can they be activated for key infotypes so this report will run?
    Name, Address, position, etc.
    Not attendance and absence ITs.

    Hi,
    IMG – Personnel Management – Personnel Admin – Tools – Revision – Set up change document:
    This node has three items:
    Infotypes to be logged
    Field Group Definitions
    Field Group Characteristics
    Using these three options you define which infotypes you wish to log, then which fields, then you define which groups of fields are to be saved. Click each link, or see the sections below:
    Infotypes to be logged
    Here you define which PA infotype numbers you require logging. Select New Entries and enter a transaction class (A for Pers Admin, B for recruitment), then enter the infotype number and save.
    Field Group Definition
    When changes are made to a logged infotype, the field contents before and after are recorded. This is the very reason for logging the infotype, but there is an overhead in performance and disk space used so it needs to be given consideration. Typically you will want to record fields that are pay relevant.
    Using the field group definition, you specify which fields you wish to record changes in. When any of the fields in the group are changed, all the fields in the group are saved. You can use an asterisk to log all the fields of the infotype but this is not recommended for space and performance, also there are many fields on an infotype that you will not be using, that will be saved also. Ideally you will pick individual fields of the infotype and enter them like so:
    The field group number is a freely defined number you allocate to the group, it will be used in the next step. For normal use, simply pick any number not already used in that infotype. All fields with the same field group number are recorded in the log, even if they have not changed.
    Click New Entries and enter the infotype number, field group number and field names that you wish to record.
    Field Group Characteristics
    When you have set up the field group numbers, use the field group characteristics to activate the logging of those fields. You can also specify a supplementary field group; this means that the contents of another field group can also be saved at the same time, even though the contents have not changed. In practise it is not used much. Simply select new entries, enter the transaction class, infotype, and in the DocFieldGr enter the number you assigned to the field names that you want to store, then enter L for Long Term Documents (short are not supported)
    The Audit Report
    To access the report showing the logged infotype changes, use the HR report tree available from various menu paths, including:
    Main Menu – Human Resources – Pers Management – Administration – Info System – Reports - Documents – Infotype change – logged changes in infotype data. (RPUAUD00).
    When you run the report, select the infotypes you require, and select and execute.
    Cheers

  • Ageing report place in which table

    Hi All,
    Customer Ageing report  stores in which table?I know customer records will be extracted from BSID. but i needed the ageing report output feeds in which table or feild?

    Dear Remya,
    If you are asking for aging buckets ex <=30, 31- 60 , 61-180 days , these information are calculated on real time, based on formula , i dont think so it is stored in tables ,
    Formula for this will be , Baseline date + payment terms days = Net Due date ,then  Net due Date - Open item date (for which report is executed ) will be the Net due days, which will be shown in respective buckets.
    kindly let me know if you need any more details.

  • Report from PL/SQL Table

    Thanks for answer to my first question. Now I have another problem.
    Is there any way to print a report based on virtual table, which is created during some Pl/SQL procedure and can't be easily decribed by Select statement

    SELECT FROM PL/SQL TABLE IN ORACLE REPORTS 6I
    The requirement is to populate a table and then select from that table in a report. The typical solution is to
    populate a database table, but for situations where that is undesirable there is a way to select from a PL/SQL
    table.
    For example - for each employee we want to populate a PL/SQL table and then select from that table.
    I used the following records in the emp table:
    INSERT INTO Emp VALUES(123,'Bob','Sales',555,'28-JAN-79',35000,12,30);
    INSERT INTO Emp VALUES(321,'Sue','Finance',555,'12-MAY-83',42000,12,10);
    INSERT INTO Emp VALUES(234,'Mary','Account',555,'14-AUG-82',33000,12,20);
    INSERT INTO Emp VALUES(623,'Joe','Sales',555,'28-JAN-79',35000,12,30);
    INSERT INTO Emp VALUES(621,'Jim','Finance',555,'12-MAY-83',42000,12,10);
    INSERT INTO Emp VALUES(634,'Jane','Account',555,'14-AUG-82',33000,12,20);
    INSERT INTO Emp VALUES(723,'Fred','Sales',555,'28-JAN-79',35000,12,30);
    INSERT INTO Emp VALUES(721,'Meg','Finance',555,'12-MAY-83',42000,12,10);
    INSERT INTO Emp VALUES(734,'Jill','Account',555,'14-AUG-82',33000,12,20);
    =============================================================================================
    Step 1: Create a package spec in the report:
    PACKAGE pkg_table IS
    TYPE t_rec IS RECORD (
    field1 NUMBER(6),
    field2 VARCHAR2(30));
    TYPE t_tab IS TABLE OF t_rec INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER;
    gv_tab t_tab;
    FUNCTION populate (
    p_empno NUMBER) RETURN NUMBER;
    END;
    Step 2: Create the package body:
    PACKAGE BODY pkg_table IS
    FUNCTION populate (
    p_empno NUMBER) RETURN NUMBER IS
    BEGIN
         gv_tab.DELETE;
         -- populate table as required - for demo purposes put in anything
         FOR lv_ind IN 1..MOD(p_empno,20) LOOP
              gv_tab(lv_ind).field1 := lv_ind;
              gv_tab(lv_ind).field2 := 'row '||TO_CHAR(lv_ind)||' for emp '||TO_CHAR(p_empno);
         END LOOP;
         RETURN gv_tab.COUNT;
    END populate;
    END;
    Step 3: Create the master query:
    SELECT empno,
    ename
    FROM emp
    Step 4: Add a formula column CF_populate to the master query that does:
    function CF_populateFormula return Number is
    -- for each emp fetched this formula will repopulate the PL/SQL table
    -- and return the number of records in the table
    begin
    return pkg_table.populate(:empno);
    end;
    Step 5: Create the detail query:
    -- we need to join this to the master and then ensure that for each
    -- empno there are as many records fetched as there will be
    -- records in the PL/SQL table
    SELECT e1.empno,rownum
    FROM emp e1, emp e2, emp e3
    WHERE rownum <= :CF_populate
    Step 6: Add formula columns to the detail query for each of the fields in the
    PL/SQL table we want to display:
    CF_Field1:
    function CF_field1Formula return Number is
    begin
    return pkg_table.gv_tab(:rownum).field1;
    end;
    CF_Field2:
    function CF_field2Formula return Varchar2 is
    begin
    return pkg_table.gv_tab(:rownum).field2;
    end;
    Step 7: Create the repeating frame and layout items to display the formula columns.
    =============================================================================================
    The same technique can be used to populate a master query. In a report level formula column
    CF_Populate populate the PL/SQL table as required. In the master query we just need the rownum:
    SELECT rownum
    FROM emp, emp, emp
    WHERE rownum <= :CF_Populate
    Add the formula columns to display Field1 and Field2.

  • REPORT ON PL/SQL TABLE OF RECORDS  on 6i & 9i

    HELLO ALL,
    I Want to know if it is posible to build a report on pl/sql
    table of records in developer 6i, or in 9i.
    thanks

    This should not happen. If you are not sure that your stored procedure is bug-free, you could generate and use stored procedures using my SQLPlusPlus and give it a try.
    You can email me directly if your problem still not gets solved.
    regards,
