Report RPTARQPOST keeps increasing in the time it takes to run

Hi
Since we have implemented Leave Requestes using ESS/MSS this report has increased from taking 300 seconds to run to taking 1000 seconds currently. I need advices as to what can be causing this report to increase its running time?
Any advice will be appreciated. System : ECC6 SP Stack 19

read the note 1460527
check teh size of PTREQ_HEADER and ensure its not getting large
The status ERROR is assigned to a request if it cannot be posted in a
run of the report RPTARQPOST. There are three main reasons for this:
1: The personnel number is locked.
2: There is a collision.
3: The quota is insufficient.
The first reason does not constitute a problem because the request is
posted in the next run in this case.
The two other reasons must be resolved by an administrator. However,
these situations can only occur if an absence is entered using a
different procedure after the creation of the request.
If these requests in the status ERROR or the collision reason are not
removed, the report RPTARQPOST tries to post these requests in each run,
but this is unsuccessful. The performance deteriorates as a result.
You can use two indicators in the report RPTARPOST to solve this
problem:
The "Post with Infotype Match" option ensures that leave requests that
have already been created as absences are automatically marked as
posted. This is useful if absences are sometimes manually entered in
parallel in spite of the automatic posting. In this case, the system
does not recognize the collision and posts the request.
The "Ignore for Posting" option ensures that all ERROR requests are
ignored. You can use this workaround at the start, but all ERROR
requests are retained, even the requests from point 1 that would be
normally posted otherwise.
                                                                 Page 2
For a final solution, an analysis as to why so many ERROR requests are
created in the system must be performed because, usually, only a few
ERROR requests should be created as a result of the manual entry of
absences.

my iphone 5 keeps crashing all the time and has a delay of about 3 seconds when doing anything on it i did a factory restore on it but it didnt fix the problem i went to optus to see if they could help me as my phone is through them but they knew nothing i need help please my phone is only 8 months old

Plug the device into a wall outlet and leave it for about 20 minutes. If it has not powered on at that point try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for about 15 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.

I can pair my iPhone 4 with my MacBook and my Macbook Pro but they will not connect. My iPhone keeps telling me it does not support this even with bluetooth turned on.The devices section keeps searching all the time. Is this an antenna problem? Or something else ?

Your iphone is right, it is not supported. The iphone's bluetooth protocols do not include file transfer, but are intendes only for headsets, stereo headphones, cars, and keyboards.

  • IPod Touch 4th keeps reseting all the time!!

Hey everybody! I really hope that you guys can help me..
I was trying to exclude an app and then I decided to reset my ipod touch 4th. Now, it keeps reseting all the time by itself! The ipod don't turn off or even less turn on.. What can I do??

    - Connect the iPod to your computer. If iTunes sees the iPod then restore the iPOd.
    - Next see if recovery mode will allow iTunes to see the iPod so your can restore it.  For recovery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
    - Then try DFU mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - Then, let the battery fully drain and then charge and try again.
    - Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • Keeping track of the time i work on a project

Is there a program that will keep track of the time i work on a project?

    Three really good ones.
A clock, a piece of paper and a pencil.
    Or a clock and EXCEL.
OR...you can get one of those time clocks that they have on those REALLY strict jobs, like at McDonalds. The stuff you see the Flintstones using...minus the dinosaur.
Sorry...I don't know of anything...just lightening the mood.

  • My iphone5s keeps restarting all the time

Hi, my phone is keep restarting all the night.
I cannot use ITunes to reset my phone because it needs me to stop using "FIND MY IPHONE". I even cannot get into it because it keeps restarting all the time.
Someone suggested me to hold the home and power button for over 10 seconds. Yeah, it works well if the phone is locked. But when i unlock my phone, it will restart again within 3 seconds. How can i do?

Most of the problems that it causes, is a software bug, advise you make a restore.
In battery issue several things you should let off, like wi-fi, bluetooth, notifications of applications, especially the facebook app instagram and consume a lot of battery good luck.
Detail: You should first make a backup of your data before performing the procedures and not back up, as they often return back up causes of errors.
    good luck.

  • Application hangs up proportionally to the time it's been running

    Hi, all.
I have a hang up problem in a project I'm working on. It happens always when I finish the execution. Depending on the time it's been running, it only keeps the user interface unavailable for a while (if it was a short execution), or hangs up and there's no other way to stop it than aborting using Windows Task Manager (if it was a long execution).
The project contains VIts and uses the execution in parallel of several VI clones, that are loaded into subpanels in the main VI front panel. I start the execution of these using VI Server property "Run VI", and insert them into the subpanels with the property "Insert VI". Then, when I exit the application, I abort their execution using "Abort VI" and remove them from the panels with "Remove VI".
It seems to be some memory release issue, but I'm not sure.
Could you give me some advice?
    Thanks in advance,
    Francisco

    Hi,
if the size that take Labview in windows system increase with time execution, there is a big chance for beeing a memory leakage problem.
The best would be to use the Labview Desktop Trace execution toolkit (I think you can try it free for 30 days), and this tool will show you the problems of you program.
If you don't want to use this tool, you have to search in your code where you open references and check that they're well closed.

  • Since the last update of firefox, the time has been 25 to 35 seconds to enter bookmarks or even the time it takes to page down when it used to take a few seconds. can you check why it taking so long since the update on firefox.

since the last update a few days ago of firefox, the time has been 25 to 35 seconds to enter bookmarks or even the time it takes to page down when it used to take a few seconds. can you tell me why it taking so long since the update on firefox. may another update is in order.

I have now done pretty much every suggestion that even vaguely applies in the various helpful link provided. Thanks for the ongoing help. =)
I have managed to get FireFox's start-up memory usage down to about 100,000K, however it appears that memory usage keeps creeping up the longer FireFox is open. (It seems to top out around 500,000K.) And I'm not talking open for many hours or days - but rather for minutes and possibly up to a couple hours. (Based on how long I've been fiddling with all this so far.)
On the plus side, it does not appear GreaseMonkey is the culprit since with it active or disabled this memory creep still occurs. Although having GreaseMonkey enabled definitely increases the rate of memory creep. Though once it has creeped up to 150,000+K, disabling GM does not make it drop back down to the starting 100,000K.
I should point out I run a MacBook Pro and use Bootcamp to partition the hard drive and run it as a Windows 7 PC about half the time. I am running it literally as a PC or, alternately, as a Mac depending on which hard drive I choose to load. (I'm not "windowing" it.) This problem exists regardless of whether I am using the PC or the Mac. These repairs have been made currently on the PC side, and I will attempt them all again on the Mac side. I find it odd that this enormous memory drain has occurred on 3 different computers at the same time. (The two "halves" of my home laptop as well as the PC at my work place.)

  • Brand new iPod keeps freezes all the time, Why?

The problem started early this year with my old iPod classic (couple years old) was beginning to freeze all the time so I just thought it was time to get a new one so I did but the same probably happened straight away and just just died after 2 weeks of constant resting so I got a brand new replacement and the same thing is happening to this one too, my question is why does this still happen and how to stop it?

You are still under warranty.  Call Apple Care, get a case number and keep it handy.

  • ECATT's time of execution increases with the time

    Hi there,
we have a Problem with the eCATT scripts, as they get slower and slower executing with the time. For example, after 5 hours execution we have an increase of 50%.
The eCATT is creating the Business Partners (BP0) and there was one eCATT Script executing parallel on the three PC's, because of the large amount of the BP he should create (ca. 10.000).
Is there anything about the LOG's that one should bear in mind? It seems like some memory pages would not be freed.
    Kind Regards,
    Dimce

    Hi Guys,
Just adding a bit more to the list of performance factors thats suually followed in any developments.
    1) Memory Usage - Declare Vairbales in eCATT with Parameter Reference wherever possible. This will just allocate as much memory required.
    2) Refresh Script - This will delete the unused interfaces created while developing eCATTs.
    3) Be careful while scripting loops
    4) When you have external tools involved, excersie the REFEXT calls efficiently, Everytime you call an exteral script the external script stored as BLOB (Binary Large Object ) has to be formatted and the external tool invoked which also brings in a great deal of delay.
Will add to this list whenever i get more.

    Justin

  • When i am suppose to upgrade my apps it starts and then halfway though it stops and tells me to keep retrying all the time never finishes the upgrade

when i am suppose to upgrade my apps it starts and then halfway though it stops and tells me to keep retrying but it never finished the upgrade

reboot your phone then restart the app updates again.  This usually fixes the problem.  Also if you have a lot of updates it will try to do too many at once.  tap the ones that are downloading and pause all but two at a time.  As soon as thoughs go into the installing unpause the next two.  If you have too many going at once then during the install it takes too long before it starts the next download on itunes will require a password again so it stops all the update in the middle.  The other work around is to update one at a time in the app store instead of hitting the update all button.

  • TB keeps getting Not Responding message. Screen freezes. Happens all the time. I am running STOPzilla anti-virus

I get the Not Responding message on both TB and Firefox all the time. I have seen issues using McAfee and a list of other Anti-Virus programs but I use STOPzilla and it is not listed at this time. It gets very annoying when typing something and the screen freezes for several seconds and have the Not Responding message and then it will work again. I am running TB 31.0 and Windows 7. Thank you.

Perhaps someone close (geographically) can give you a hand?
[http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows/view-cpu-utilization-performance-information#1TC=windows-7 This Windows Help article] explains how to check for resource use on your PC.
What I described is a one-step test in Thunderbird: ''On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". '' This would help determine if the problem is among an add-on installed in Thunderbird.
If that doesn't show improvement, the problem is not within Thunderbird but elsewhere in the system. Starting the computer in Safe Mode then helps confirm if the problem is in Windows (and not specifically in Thunderbird).
I understand you may not be comfortable doing this by yourself, perhaps ask someone close to help you in person, by showing them our answers here.

  • High system(kernel) usage all the time! but windows runs normal

My 2013 MBA has a very high system usage all the time, and its very slow, and fan starts working at high speed at startup..
I did a clean install of both Mavericks and Mountain lion, and still got the same problem..
Also I'm using boot camp (windows 8.1) and it runs normal!!! I'm only having this trouble using OSX
Note: I had a liquid spill on it.

You might also want to run Applications -> Utilities -> Activity Monitor and see if there is a process or processes that are running with high CPU loads.
The fans generally run fast and loud when the CPU is generating a lot of heat, and that generally only happens when apps are pushing the CPU to high percentages.
You could also look in the Applications -> Utilities -> Console for log entries that are frequently repeating, which might indicate a process that keeps failing and restarting again and again and ...
