Report to find relation transaction - Solman 7.1

Hello Sap Solution Manager Experts,
Is there any transaction or report to view the associated relation/message? In other words, given the message number 8*344, i should be in position to see that two messages namely 8*474 and 8*473 are linked to the message 8*344.

  • Report Painter - Translation from Transaction Currency

    Hi,
    I have set up a report painter report using "Translation from Transaction Currecny" as one of the key figures in one of the columns in the report. When I execute the report it prompts me for the target currency and the ER type which is what I was expecting. EG I want to translate actuals to say AUD at budget rate (type P)
    My question is.... I add a second column again using the same key figure ""Translation from Transaction Currecny" which I want to exchange using a different Exchange rate type.E.g I want to translate actuals to AUD using the forecast rate (type Q). However, when I execute the report I was expectiong to be prompted twice for the target currency and exchange rate type but it still only prompts me once.
    Does that mean that using the key figure that I cannot use it in more than one column in the report?
    I hope this makes sense.

    Add custom reports to an existing Report Tree (SERP)
    For example:
    Add custom report to:  Project System/Information System/Financials/u2026
    Find u201CPS91u201D from SERP
    Add a report to PS91
    The trick is find the existing report tree related to standard main menu.
    Or create a new report tree where you house all custom or selected reports in one place.
    May also consider using area menu (SE43): create a structure, for example, to house all custom reports.  A useful tool to manage custom/specifc reports

    I think you have reached the state of finding the USER to ROLE relationship
    Take the output to an excel,
    COPY just the roles column exactly in order do not rearrange , use AGR_1251 like other experts have mentioned
    insert the roles copied from you buffer and execute, the output will have multiple entries for each role take the output to an EXCEL again , make it unique and match the outputs between both the EXCELS.
    It will be a little tricky to do this, but I think you are proficient in MS EXCEL.
    This is one of the ways to do , there are many other ways to do it.

    Hi,
    You can unlock locked objects in transaction SE03.
    Click on Display Repaired objects.
    You can see all the objects that are locked.
    To unlock you can select the particular object and click on Unlock.
    Do reward points if the answer to your question is met.

    They have given ME9F, ME21N/22n, wheren this includle is calling.

    1. you can find the transaction for your report by opening in se80. On the left side window it will show the transaction if there is any.
    2. to find in which programs particular inclue is called , just open include in se38 and press where used list icon. in the pop up window select programs.

    two of our users get the following error message, when opening two specific reports:
    First Report: Cannot find Dimension Scenario.
    Second Report: Error executing query: the member null doesn't exist in this application.
    Other users can access these reports, and the same users where the problem occurs can access other reports in the same folder.
    I set the same rights for me, but i can access the reports without problems.

    I had the same issue a few weeks ago... not sure how it happened but it was related only with my username.
    In order to fix it:
    1. I created a report which does not require to select the scenario in advance. Try to use the default data-grid that you get when you first create a report for example.
    2. When the user runs the report, try to see if he can see the dimension. Do not use the missing dimension on rows or columns. If he can see the dimension, ask him to select one scenario. This will solve the issue.
    3. If he cannot see the dimension, try to change the layout of the report.

    Hi Deekshitha,
    NO.
    Messages and transaction are not related at all. Transactions are 'entry points' for processing. Usually a transaction code is connected to a program an a screen. Starting there, any functions, programs, methods or transactions can be called. The called objects can do the same.
    A message can be called directly in the program (This is what you found in function group MG11) or dynamically, selected via control tables or other methods.
    You could check the function name of LMG11U05 and request a where-used-list. Then check transaction table TSTC for the programs found in the where-used-list. If you are lucky, it solves your question - at least partially. Because the message may be called elsewhere, too.
    If not solved, please describe the situation in detail.

    I've now viewed the HTML source in the 'customize' view of my report portlet and noted all the parameters used. I generated a URL based on all of these parameters, e.g.,
    http://myserver.com/portal/page&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL&_type=portlet&_providerid=904735153&_portletid=204&_backurl=http://myserver.com/pls/portal/url/PAGE/TESTPAGES/JH_FORM_REP_INTEGRATION&_mode=2&_referencepath=403765_JH_SORT_REPORT2_904735153&p_arg_names=_orderby_col_1&p_arg_values=DATE_OF_PURCHASE&p_arg_names=_orderby_ord_1&p_arg_values=DESC
    and loaded the URL.
    I get the following weird behaviour. If I launch the URL then the report does not change its output on the first attempt.
    However, clicking on the 'Customize' link shows that the orderbycol_1 and orderbtord_1 values have changed! Clicking on OK/Cancel takes me back to the page with the portlet on and the data is now updated! In fact, just hitting refresh on the main page forces the report to execute correctly.
    Is this a caching issue? What is the workaround?
    I have attempted to place all these hidden values into the report portlet (before page section) and using a custom layout, added a a javascript function that would submit the hidden form passing a value dependent on which hyperlink I clicked (the link relating to the column I am wishing to sort on and in what order). It suffers from the same issue.
    I am so close to getting this to work!! Argh!

    trying to use sdbverify -repair_permissions , but not sure about the exact syntax to use.

    you could check the sizing of the liveCache data.
    * Report  /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_REORG_SNP has checks  of the SNP planning areas for superfluous objects.
    * Delete old/temporary APO data.
    * /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_REORG report checked TS superfluous objects.
    If you didn't create the planning versions, copy of planning versions & data load to liveCache, then create the SAP message to check your system on the question of the dataarea usage.
    If you have the long running APO transactions => performance of the SCM system has to be checked.
    If you have the bottleneck in liveCache & could not solve the case by yourself => create the SAP message to BC-DB-LVC and get SAP support.

              To monitor JAVA system on Solution Manager you need to install Solution Manager Diagnostic or Sitescope or CA Wily Introscope for your java system and after that you can configure your Java monitoring on Solution Manager.

    The tables for a given transaction can be seen in the transaction SE80.
    First goto SE93.
    Give ur Tcode and find the program name.
    Now goto SE80. select program in the first dropdown and give the program name in the second box. U can find the list of tables used.
    One more way is : use ST05.
    and One more is using FM 'get_tables'

    You can use transaction code ST03N.
    1. Go to tx code - ST03N
    2. Under "Workload" you can select your "Instance or Total" so that it expands and shows you Days, Week, Month.
    3. If you want to look at the transactions executed for a particular day, lets say, then double click on any day.
    4. At the bottom left you get "Analysis Views"
    5. Select & expand "User and Settlement Statistics"
    6. Double click on "User Profile"
    7. On the right side of the window you get a list of all the users
    8. Double click on a particular user you want to view the details of.
    9. The new screen will display the "Transactions/Reports Utilized by User XXX"
    If you wanna track which users executed a particular transacation then follow this:
    10. In "Analysis Views" expand "Transaction Profile"
    11. Double click on "Standard"
    You can view the list of Transactions and Reports.
    12. Double click on the Tx Code or Report you wanna check and it will show the Use of it.
