Report to show duplicate contacts
We have duplicate contacts in CRMOD. Is there a way to create a report that will show me all of the duplicates?

Create a Report with following fields:-
Contact Full Name, Temp Column.
Edit the Temp column Formula and add COUNT(Contact."Contact Name" BY Contact."Contact Name"). On the Temp column add the filter is greater than 1.

If thats the case, the circular arrow wont be visible but instead show "groups"

When I directly insert a subreport without any parameters to a details row cell, I can easily reproduce this issue in my environment. Generally, if we want to avoid this issue, we must design a parameterized report (for example, a report that shows the details
for a specific customer) as the subreport. For more details, please refer to the following steps:
Create a parameter, then add a filter based on the parameter to filter the data in the subreport.
In the main report, insert the subreport with the corresponding parameter values.
Then we can filter the subreport based on the parameter values to eliminate the duplicate data. Besides, we can also add a group in the main report to avoid the duplicate data in main report.

RTF Report output shows Duplicate or Missing lines
Hi,
We have a program which prints XML output into the concurrent program output file and the output for this file is set to PDF attached to an RTF template.
The RTF output generated should ideally have the output in the following manner
Header 1
- Line 1
- Line 2
- Line 3
- Line 4
Header 2
- Line 1
- Line 2
- Line 3
- Line 4
But, once the concurrent program completes execution, the RTF template displays data as -
Header 1
- Line 1
- Line 2
- Line 3
- Line 4
Header 2
- Line 1
- Line 1
- Line 4
Here HEADER1 section is working perfectly fine. But HEADER2 section shows duplicate lines and line are missing as well.
I checked the XML Output - The data is perfect as required. In case we fetch the concurrent program out file (.out file) and load this into the RTF template offline (in MS Word BI - Addin), and do a preview, the output there too is fine and as required.
I am doubting that the XDO process which merges the XML into RTF template, after the concurrent program generates output, is creating this effect.
Could someone please let me know the reason of this behavior. Is there any metalink note or procedure that we need to follow.

SsaliI you get duplicate data, change your "select" to "select unique".
Maybe this is a specific Oracle EBusiness Suite thing. If so, ask it in the EBusiness Suite forum. -
HT1692 iPhone shows duplicate contacts and categories and will not sync. help
Contacts are not syncing, iphone has duplicates in contacts and groups and I don't seam to be able to over-ride or replace duplicates.
Have any Ideas?That's usually a USB timing error. I would unplug the phone and replug it in, also try different USB ports and cords if you've got 'em. Make sure your iTunes program is up to date as well

Lync duplicate contacts sync from outlook
In my outlook 2010 under contacts --> Lync contacts showing duplicate contacts of each.
What is the purpose of Lync contacts in outlook. where does it sync with.
How to remove duplicate entries.
I am using Lycn 2013 client & Lync server 2010.All you just need to do is 4 steps on the Lync server
1. Check what you have on -EnableExchangeContactSyc by doing c:\get-csuserclientpolicy. And make is set
to false by doing Set-CsClientPolicy global
-EnableExchangeContactSync $False if you only
have one policy but if you have another group policy apart from the global e.g. Accounting and you want to apply it to the group. Do c:\Set-CsClientPolicy
-identity "accounting" -EnableExchangeContactSync $False
2. Do
C:\Update-Csuserdatabase (this update client database)
3. Do
C:\Update-CsAddressBook (this update client address book)
4. Do
C:\Invoke-CsManagmentStoreReplication (this replicate changes to all Lync servers)
Give it five minute and all should be fine but some users might need to exit from Lync and sign in again to see changes.

Getting duplicate contacts on my Z10
I have a BlackBerry Z10 and suddenly in the past two days the Contacts app started showing duplicate contacts. I am not sure what caused this, can you help me please because it is so annoying

Are the contacts from your SIM card, were they created on the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone only, or were they added via an email account?
Were these contacts previously merged and unlinked manually from the BlackBerry smartphone?

My address book on the mac showed duplicate contacts so I started to delete them. I deleted A-C. However, on icloud.com, they were not duplictaed and now all of my A-C contacts are gone. How can I get them back?
I think i did the same thing. I just got a new MacBook Air and when it synced with iCloud I had doubles of all my contacts. Now I'm missing most of my contacts as well.... Someone please help with a solution to this mistake....

I am using Outlook 2007 on my PC.
I am not using Mobile Me; rather I am running the sync on my PC using iTunes. The duplicates were on both my iPhone and my computer, but they didn't always appear to be identical. It is somewhat complicated by the fact that I use Plaxo to update my contacts folder(s) on my PC.
I worked with Plaxo to combine all contacts folders, and then I went through each item and deleted all duplicates. Then I synced with my phone, and finally got it down to one unduplicated list. This was tedious, since I have over 1,000 contacts.
Now I am getting ready to sync, and I am not sure what to check on the sync menu. It asks whether I want contacts added on the phone synced to my Collected Contacts folder. Why add it to a separate folder instead of my main contacts folder? Does this add a separate item that you then use to update the main folder?

Nokia communication centre (from PC suite 7.1.30.9) looks perfect - my contact list is fine and sorted by first name, last name
Unfortunately my phone is sorted last name, first name and (worse) is showing double entries thus

Can I change this on the phone?
P.S. I use subfolders within my Outlook contacts, and also copy the contents up to the top level as I also have a Palm which only looks at the top level. I had assumed this was the cause of the duplicate entries on my phone, but if this is the case how come communication centre gets it right?

Atleast in S60 5th edition phones have the following options
In phone Contacts > Options > Settings > Contact to display
1) Phone memory
2) SIM memory
3) Service numbers
Check boxed will be there in front of all these options, you can select/deselect. If you select both phone and sim memory, and if the same contacts are present on both these memories, it will duplicated on the Contacts of the phone, but an icon will be displayed before those contacts on the phone to show SIM contact/phone contact. If its a sim contact, an icon of SIM will be displayed before that SIM contact.
One way is to cumulate all those contacts either in Phone memory or in SIM memory and select only the required option where all the contacts are stored, its one time manual work but it will avoid some confusions. Once you cumulate all the contacts in SIM memory, it would suggest you to copy those contacts to phone memory and select phone memory as your primary contact, so that those contacts can be backup-ed while backuping your phone using Content copier of Nokia PC Suite/Nokia OVI SUite, because as of now, Content copier will backup only phone memory alone, it wont backup SIM memory contacts. -

1. I have removed Distinct in advance tab in report.
2. In rpd unchecked the distinct supported.

or
jan-08 customer 001 amount 100 ?
What is the aggreagation for amount?
If it is sum then it shoud be 200 for amount.
is there a column in your table that is different for those 2 lines with jan-08 customer 001 amount 100 like an ID or something?
if yes then add that id in you dimmension table and then in your report.
In this case you will get those 2 lines.
There is another way but I know it shoudn't be used. To set none for aggregation rule.

Duplicates will only be shown in iTunes. Once copied to the iPod, the iPod will not show duplicate entries. The iPod has built in intelligence to make duplicate songs shown in iTunes to appear only once on the iPod.
Now within the Music selection which is broken down into different categories, ie 'Playlist', 'Artist', 'Songs', etc, you will then see your same music once in each category.

0ORGUNIT with 0EMPLOYEE report shows duplicate entries in Hierarchy

I am triyng to build a report like PO13 in ECC (Organization Tree with Position & Org Unit).
The report is built on 0EMPLOYEE and uses the 0ORGUNIT as a nav att with Hier
But in BW the report is showing the Employee twice!
Once in the top level of the hierarchy and in the level it suppose to be.
Any body knows why?

EdanRan into the same requirement at a previous client. They desired an org chart in BI.
However, the way BW hierarchies seem to work, is that it will repeat the characteristic value for each node higher in the hierarchy.
For instance, if your hierarchy looks like All Company -> Division -> Dept. -> Group, and Employee 'Joe Bob' is a member of 'Group'. If you have all levels displayed in BEx, 'Joe Bob' will be included under each level.
We found that the hierarchies are good for rolling up the fact data, but terrible for presenting characteristic data compared to other reporting systems we were used to. We ended up pushing back and the users used the Org reports builtin to ECC. -

This report shows the schedule line items , group schedule line items and rental contact (billing plan) lines when particular checkbox is checked. The checkboxs p_all(non-schedule line) , p_group(group schedule line items) are working in my above alv report and showing result but unfortunately when p_rental is checked it dosent give me result , it says no data selected. This when checked has to show result based on a different set of selections as I have done, but its not shwoing me the result .
