Report using reuse_alv_hiersql_list FM and reuse_alv_block_list FM

Dear all,
I have a report were in i need to display two reports for branch wise report and for sales employee wise report.The report is accepted for branchwise were i'm using reuse_alv_hiersal_list_display FM.And as per the business scenario i was forced to use reuse_alv_block_list_display FM for sales employeewise report.Both this report are split for branchwise and sales employeewise reports which exit in the single report itself.
Now as per the requirement i'm displaying the two seperate blocks for sales employeewise report.Which has sales employee internal table in one block and its header and inside sales employee wise internal table in second block with its corresponding header.
There is no problem what so ever in the logic and every thing is fine.But as per the user requirement i've been asked to change the looks and make them into single and display the same in the same list.I'll explain the requirement with example...
I got sales employee number and branch as header for both internal tables ie for sales employees and inside sales employee.The employee numbers are different in our tables which states that they are of sales employees or inside sales employee.My requirement is to club this sales employees and inside sales employee who comes under same branch.I previously use to show it in differrent blocks.The most challeging part to club is i need to have different header titles for both sales and inside sales employees.How is it possible to have them club under same branches.This as u know cannot be done with reuse_alv_hiersql_list FM.So any help or suggestions would really be awarded.......
Thanks in advance...

  • Report using Tabular Model and Measures based on Distinct Counts

    Hello,
    I am creating a report that should present something like this:
    YEAR-1 | MONTH-1 | MONTH-2 | MONTH-3... | YEAR | MONTH-1 | MONTH-2 | MONTH-3...
    My problem is that when designing the dataset to support this layout I drag the Year, Month and Distinct count Measure, but on the report when I want the value for the YEAR level I don't have it and I cannot sum the months value...
    What is the best aproach to solve this? Do I really have to go to advanced mode and customize my MDX or DAX? Can't basic users do something like this that seems so trivial and needed?
    Thank you
    Luis Simões

    Hi Luis,
    According to your description, you create a Reporting Services report using Analysis Service Tabular Model as the datasource, now what you want is sum the months value on year level, right?
    In your scenario, you can add the Month field to column group, add a parent group using Year Field and then add a Total on Month group. In this case, Reporting Services will sum the months value on Year level. I have tested it on my local environment, the
    screenshot below is for you reference.
    Reference:Lesson 6: Adding Grouping and Totals (Reporting Services)
    If this is not what you want, please describe your dataset structure, so that we can make further analysis.

  • Image not displaying in pdf report using XSL-FO and using Oracle 11g databa

    Good Afternoon,
    I have created over 15 reports using XSL-fo, with the following syntax to display an image on the pdf:
    fo:block margin-left="0.24cm" margin-right="0.27cm" margin-top="0.0cm" ><fo:external-graphic content-width="scale-to-fit" content-height="scale-to-fit" width="1.73cm" height="1.57cm" >
    <xsl:attribute name="src">'url("http://readiness:7780/i/marforcom_symbol_rpts.gif")'</xsl:attribute></fo:external-graphic>
    </fo:block>
    This syntax works fine when using Oracle 10g, now my database has been upgraded to 11g and my image no longer displays in the reports. I have already upload the image into the database as a workspace image.
    I have tried to point the image @ the image by using url(#WORKSPACE_IMAGE#marforcom_symbol_rpts.gif)
    or <img src ="#IMAGE_PREFIX#marforcom_symbol_rpts.gif")
    and it still doesn't work.
    I have searched this forum trying to come up with a solution that will fix my problem and am unable to.
    Current config: Oracle 11g, using pl/sql gateway.
    I need to know how to point the xsl-fo file to the database, where the image now resides.
    Thanks,
    Mary

    Hi,
    I think you need load images to database XDB virtual directory /i/ and then use #IMAGE_PREFIX# substitution.
    This might help to access /i/
    http://www.apex-blog.com/oracle-apex/accessing-i-using-ftp-170.html
    Or use this to load images

  • Extract a report using the hostname and/or IP address of the destination site (by hits or volume).

    Hi,
    Is it possible to extract a report using the SCABB 3.7.0 (or any other version) like the "TOP WEB HOSTS" but instead of HITS as the results for the "TOP WEB HOSTS" I can see the traffic volume toward the top hosts?
    other question:
    When I extract the "TOP WEB HOSTS" report, I use the field "where the host contains" and type something like "google" to see the top 10 google related hosts.
    I would like to extract some report like "TOP WEB IP ADDRESSES", is it possible?
    thanks!

  • Attempting to report using multiple subqueries and filtering on result set

    I have an Oracle view which shows historic logs of changed data, effectively an audit view. The view is over two tables, a header and a detail table. I guess for the purpose of the question that is not too relevant but the structure of the view is. This is the view:
    SQL> desc ifsinfo.history_log_join
    Name Null? Type
    *LOG_ID                                    NOT NULL VARCHAR2(10)
    *MODULE                                    NOT NULL VARCHAR2(6)
    *LU_NAME                                   NOT NULL VARCHAR2(30)
    *TABLE_NAME                                NOT NULL VARCHAR2(30)
    *TIME_STAMP                                NOT NULL DATE
    *USERNAME                                  NOT NULL VARCHAR2(30)
    *KEYS                                      NOT NULL VARCHAR2(600)
    *HISTORY_TYPE                                       VARCHAR2(200)
    *HISTORY_TYPE_DB                           NOT NULL VARCHAR2(20)
    COLUMN_NAME NOT NULL VARCHAR2(30)
    OLD_VALUE VARCHAR2(2000)
    NEW_VALUE VARCHAR2(2000)
    I have indicated header information with *.
    The detail shows every column that was changed for a table (in header) and the old and new values, quite straight forward.
    The table I am interested in the audit of is:
    SQL> desc customer_order_reservation_tab
    Name Null? Type
    * ORDER_NO NOT NULL VARCHAR2(12)
    * LINE_NO NOT NULL VARCHAR2(4)
    * REL_NO NOT NULL VARCHAR2(4)
    * LINE_ITEM_NO NOT NULL NUMBER
    * CONTRACT NOT NULL VARCHAR2(5)
    * PART_NO NOT NULL VARCHAR2(25)
    CONFIGURATION_ID NOT NULL VARCHAR2(50)
    * LOCATION_NO NOT NULL VARCHAR2(35)
    * LOT_BATCH_NO NOT NULL VARCHAR2(20)
    * SERIAL_NO NOT NULL VARCHAR2(15)
    WAIV_DEV_REJ_NO NOT NULL VARCHAR2(15)
    ENG_CHG_LEVEL NOT NULL VARCHAR2(2)
    * PICK_LIST_NO NOT NULL VARCHAR2(15)
    PALLET_ID NOT NULL VARCHAR2(10)
    * LAST_ACTIVITY_DATE DATE
    SOURCE VARCHAR2(25)
    QTY_ASSIGNED NOT NULL NUMBER
    QTY_PICKED NOT NULL NUMBER
    QTY_SHIPPED NOT NULL NUMBER
    DELIV_NO NUMBER
    ROWVERSION DATE
    I have indicated columns that I am interested in (either as a key field or as changed data) by *
    Okay - so that's the background, what am I attempting to report.
    I want to return a single row per log id (for certain criteria) which shows:
    Log_Id
    History_Type
    Time_Stamp
    Username
    Order_No
    Pick_List_No
    Rel_No
    Line_No
    Part_No
    Loc_No
    Lot_Batch_No
    Serial_No
    The SQL I have currently is:
    select grp.*
    from
    (select h1.log_id, h1.history_type, time_stamp, username,
    (select h2.old_value||h2.new_value from ifsinfo.history_log_join h2 where h1.log_id=h2.log_id and h2.column_name ='ORDER_NO') Order_No,
    (select h2.old_value||h2.new_value from ifsinfo.history_log_join h2 where h1.log_id=h2.log_id and h2.column_name ='PICK_LIST_NO') Pick_List_No,
    (select h2.old_value||h2.new_value from ifsinfo.history_log_join h2 where h1.log_id=h2.log_id and h2.column_name ='REL_NO') Rel_No,
    (select h2.old_value||h2.new_value from ifsinfo.history_log_join h2 where h1.log_id=h2.log_id and h2.column_name ='LINE_NO') Line_No,
    (select h2.old_value||h2.new_value from ifsinfo.history_log_join h2 where h1.log_id=h2.log_id and h2.column_name ='PART_NO') Part_No,
    (select h2.old_value||h2.new_value from ifsinfo.history_log_join h2 where h1.log_id=h2.log_id and h2.column_name ='LOCATION_NO') Loc_No,
    (select h2.old_value||h2.new_value from ifsinfo.history_log_join h2 where h1.log_id=h2.log_id and h2.column_name ='LOT_BATCH_NO') Lot_Batch_No,
    (select h2.old_value||h2.new_value from ifsinfo.history_log_join h2 where h1.log_id=h2.log_id and h2.column_name ='SERIAL_NO') Serial_No
    from ifsinfo.history_log_join h1
    where
    table_name = 'CUSTOMER_ORDER_RESERVATION_TAB'
    and
    keys like upper('CONFIGURATION_ID=*^CONTRACT=&company%')
    and
    history_type in ('Delete','Insert')
    and
    column_name ='PICK_LIST_NO'
    and
    username != 'IFSAPP'
    and
    h1.old_value || h1.new_value != '*'
    and
    trunc(h1.time_stamp) > trunc(sysdate-1-&days_ago)
    order by 5, 6, 8, 7,9,10,2, 1) grp
    This is OK but..
    I only want to include rows where the same picklist / rel_no / line_no / part_no combination exist more than once (because there is always an insert and delete for the analysis I am doing).
    AND
    where for that combination, the lot_batch_no OR serial_no are different.
    Effectively the system does an insert / delete rather than an update, so that is why.
    Thanks

    Data Dictionary Hit

    Do you know how can I change the size of the report?
    I think that I´m using a "metric" so for that reason I Can´t change the size ... :(

  • Standard SAP Reporting Using Classes and Characterstics

    Hi Experts,
    I am currently interested in if there are any options to using classes and characteristics within standard reporting in SAP ECC.  I know some reports have the selection critiera and allow for other fields to be added to reports.  Does anyone know the reports that use classes and characteristics or have the ability to use them.  Any help is appreciated.
    Regards,

    Consultant 01,
    I am not sure of the specifics of your question.  The reporting approach depends on the objective of the reports and the business requirements.  In general, transaction MC03 can be use to report via classification characteristics.  This key figure reporting option covers many classifying attributes.
    If you want to report using batch classification and characteristic values, BMBC offers options for reporting on batches.  In this case you may use the classification tab of BMBC to enter the batch class for "search with batch class" and/or "search with selection class".  The latter allows you to view and/or narrow your search by characteristic values.
    I hope that this helps.

  • Urgent: Issue while displaying the PDF Reports Using XDO Common region

    Hi all,
    In our product code we are trying to display the PDF Reports, using the xdo common region.
    Previously we were writing the pdf reports direclty onto the response direclty.
    This displays the report onto the browser but if navigate throw browser back button, it doesn't displays the report as the response stream is empty while navigating through back button.
    So to solve this issue, i tried to write the report using the OAHTMLWebBean and xdo common region. Here is the code:
    ByteArrayOutputStream xdoOutput = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
    XDOUtility.retrieveReport(xdoOutput,
    parameters,
    prop,
    appMod
    BlobDomain bxdoOutput = new BlobDomain();
    bxdoOutput.setBytes(xdoOutput.toByteArray());
    String redirectURL = DocumentHelper.getOutputURL(pageContext,
    bxdoOutput,
    "Report",
    "PDF");
    OAHTMLWebBean outRegion = (OAHTMLWebBean)createWebBean (pageContext, OAWebBeanConstants.HTML_WEB_BEAN, null, "IFRAME");
    outRegion.setHTMLAttributeValue("src", redirectURL);
    outRegion.setHTMLAttributeValue("width", "100%");
    outRegion.setHTMLAttributeValue("height", "100%");
    outRegion.setHTMLAttributeValue("title","Report");
    outRegion.setHTMLAttributeValue("name","Report");
    pageContext.getPageLayoutBean().addIndexedChild(outRegion);
    This successfully displays the report in the XDO Common region. But now the issue is that there are hyperlinks in the Report displayed where from where the user can navigate to other detail pages.
    When we click on these links, a new session starts in the xdo common region.
    Is it possible that when the user click the links in the report displayed, instead of starting a new session in the xdo region, the detail pages is displayed with in the older session.

    Hi all,
    In our product code we are trying to display the PDF Reports, using the xdo common region.
    ByteArrayOutputStream xdoOutput = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
    XDOUtility.retrieveReport(xdoOutput,
    parameters,
    prop,
    appMod
    BlobDomain bxdoOutput = new BlobDomain();
    bxdoOutput.setBytes(xdoOutput.toByteArray());
    String redirectURL = DocumentHelper.getOutputURL(pageContext,
    bxdoOutput,
    "Report",
    "PDF");
    OAHTMLWebBean outRegion = (OAHTMLWebBean)createWebBean (pageContext, OAWebBeanConstants.HTML_WEB_BEAN, null, "IFRAME");
    outRegion.setHTMLAttributeValue("src", redirectURL);
    outRegion.setHTMLAttributeValue("width", "100%");
    outRegion.setHTMLAttributeValue("height", "100%");
    outRegion.setHTMLAttributeValue("title","Report");
    outRegion.setHTMLAttributeValue("name","Report");
    pageContext.getPageLayoutBean().addIndexedChild(outRegion);

    Hi Shobha,
    I can't confirm what version of PHP you are using, but to err on the side of caution please use the version specified in the sample/SDK:
    PHP 5.4.14 has been installed from PHP.
    Here is our code examples:

  • Want to have own selection screen  in HR-ABAP report using LDB

    Hi experts,
            I am working on HR-ABAP report using LDB pnp and infotypes..But, here we get the built in selection criterion..but I want my own selection screen to be displayed..whats the solution for this??? Is it possible to create my own selection screen instead of default one..and how???
    Please help me..its very urgent..

    Hi,
    chk this out:
    Create Report Categories
    In this step, you define the report categories and determine the layout
       of the standard selection screen for these report categories. You can
       create report categories for programs or queries that are based on the
       PNP or PNPCE logical databases.
    The definition of report categories is divided into two sections:
    o   In the Change Report Category view, you define general attributes
           such as sort order, input fields for date, and so on.
    o   In the Change Selection Criteria view, you define which selection
           fields of the logical database should be avaliable on the selection
           screen.
    Example
    You want to set up your system so that your employees can only start
       evaluation reports for Payroll if they use a payroll area. Within a
       payroll area, you should be able to select according to personnel
       number. Additional selection criteria should not be possible and you
       should not be allowed to enter a sort sequence.
    Standard settings
    The standard system already contains report categories. You can find the
    attributes of the report categories in the table.
    Note the following five report categories in particular:
    o   Report category ' ' is the SAP default report category for
        programs that are based on the PNP logical database.
    o   Report category PNPCE is the SAP default category for programs that
        are based on the PNPCE logical database.
    o   Report category '00000000' is the customer-specific default category
        for programs that are based on the PNP logical database.
    o   Report category '0PNPCE' is the customer-specific default category
        for programs that are based on the PNPCE logical database.
    o   Report category __X2001 is the default category for Queries  that
        are based on an InfoSet of the PNP LDB.
    o   Report category QUEPNPCE is the default category for queries that
        are based on an InfoSet of the PNPCE LDB.
    The default report categories are used when a report is called if
        the report has not been assigned a report category.
    Parameters and Options for Report Categories of the LDB PNP and PNPCE
    Parameters and Options in Screen Area General Data
       If you activate this parameter, you can only enter data on the data
       selection period if you use reports that have been assigned. The
       same date entries are then used for the person selection as for the
       date selection.
    o   Matchcode allowed
       If you activate this parameter, you have use of a Matchcode
       pushbutton (search help) if you use reports that have been assigned.
       This pushbutton enables you to perform the person selection.
    o   Sort allowed
       If you activate this parameter, you have use of a Sort pushbutton if
       you use report that have been assigned. This pushbutton enables you
       to define a sort order before you execute the report.
    o   Organizational structure allowed
       If you activate this parameter, you have use of an Org.Structure
       pushbutton if you use reports that have been assigned. This
       pushbutton enables you to perform the person selection.
       Note:
       For more information about these options, see the online
       documentation under this path:
       SAP Library -> Human Resources -> Reporting in Human Resources
       Management -> Standard HR Reports -> Report Selection Screen in
       Human Resources Management.
    Parameters and Options in Screen Areas Data Selection Period/Person
    Selection Period/Payroll Area/Period/Year
    o   Options for data selection period and person selection period (key
        date and so on)
        Here you define which options for date and person selection are
        available for reports that have been assigned.
    o   Options for payroll area/period/year
        Here you define which options for selection using payroll
        area/period/year are available for reports that have been assigned.
    Parameters and Options in Screen Area Selection View
    o   Type/Name
        This parameter enables you to use selection views to define report
        categories. You use the selection view selected here to determine
        which fields are available in the Dynamic Selectionsy.
    Note:
        You create selection views for the PNP and PNPCE logical databases
        in the Object Navigator (SE80):
        1. Start the Object Navigator (SE80)
        2. Choose Workbench -> Edit Object.
        3. Choose the More... tab page and the Selection view on this tab
        page.
        4. Choose Create.
        5. In the Create Selection View dialog box, choose the For any
        tables option.
        6. In the Name of view field, enter a name for your selection view.
        7. In the Tables dialog box, enter the name of the table from which
        you want to use fields.
        Note:
        When you enter the table name, observe the naming convention in
        Personnel Administration:
        Infotype number: nnnn -> table name: PAnnnn
        8. Choose Continue.
        9. In the Functional groups area, define functional groups by
        assigning a name and a number.
        10. Assign fields from the selected tables to the functional groups
        by entering the number of the desired functional group in front of
        each field.
        11. Save your entries.
    For more information about adjusting the dynamic selections using
    your own selection views, see the online documentation under the
    following menu path:
    SAP Library -> Human Resources -> Reporting in Human Resources
    Management -> HR Standard Reports -> Report Selection Screen in
    Human Resources Management -> Enhancing the Selection Screen -
    Dynamic Selections.
    If you do not want to offer dynamic selections, make the following
    settings:
    -   LDB PNP: In the Selection view field, enter PNP_NO_FREE_SEL.
    -   LDB PNPCE: Leave the Selection view field empty.
    Parameters and Options in Screen Area Data Selection Period/Person
    Selection Period/Payroll Area/Period/Year
    o   Available input parameters, date or period entry (today, key date,
       all, and so on), and standard value.
       Using the Standard value option, you define which of the selected
       options is shown.
    Parameters and Options in Screen Area CE Selection Fields
    o   CE selection fields (external person ID, grouping reason, grouping
       value)
       Using the options in this area, you define whether the external
       person Id, grouping reason, or grouping value are available on the
       selection screen.
       Note:
       These parameters are only relevant for you if you implement
       Concurrent Employment (see also note 517071).
    Parameters and Options in Screen Area Selection view
    o   Dynamic selections as dialog box
        If this switch is set, you can call the dynamic selections as a
        dialog box.
    o   Dynamic selections active
        If this switch is set, the dynamic selections of the logical
        database are active at the start of the report.
    Note that the following combinations are possible for the last two
        options mentioned:
    Dyn.Sel. as dialog box/Dyn.Sel. active: inactive/inactive
        Dyn.Sel. as dialog box/Dyn.Sel. active: inactive/active
        Dyn.Sel. as dialog box/Dyn.Sel. active: active/inactive
    Activities
    1.  Choose Edit -> New entries.
    2.  Enter an abbreviation and a long text for the report category.
        The customer name range for report categories is 0-9.
    3.  Select the For the PNPCE logical database checkbox, if you want to
        create a report category for a program or for queries of the PNPCE
        logical database.
    4.  In the General Data screen area, choose the desired options.
        If you want to use selection IDs, you must have first created and
        grouped selection Ids. The IMG path to do this is given in the
        parameter description section.
    5.  In the Data selection period/person selection period or Selection
        period screen area, choose the desired options.
    6.  In the Selection view screen area, choose the desired options.
    7.  In the CE selection fields screen area, choose the desired (only
        possible for report categories of the LDB PNPCE).
    8.  Save your entries.
    9.  Choose the subactivity Permitted selection criteria.
    10. Choose Edit -> New entries.
    11. In the Select option field, use the input help to select each field
        that should be available on the selection screen.
    12. Select the checkbox in the 1.page column, if you want this selection
        field to be available directly when you call the selection screen.
    Further notes
    13. If you want to copy entries, you still have to enter the selection
        parameters again in the subsequent screen.
    o   If you create the report category '000000000', a selection screen is
        generated according to report category '00000000'for all reports for
        which a report category has not explicitly been assigned.
    Assign Report Categories
    In this step, you assign a report category to your reports.
    Example
    You have created your own report, for example ZPCTEST1, and would like
        it to have the selection screen that corresponds to that of the
        evaluation report for Payroll, which is assigned to report category
        '__M00001'.
        Assign report category '__M00001' to the report.
    Requirements
    You must have defined the Report Categories.
    Standard settings
    SAP Standard Reports:
    In the standard system, reports are assigned a report category. If you
        want to override these assignments, perform the activities described
        here. If you want to assign report categories to standard reports using
        SE38, this represents a modification.
    Customer-Specific Reports:
    For reports you have developed yourself, you can either assign report
        categories by performing the activities described here or directly in SE38.
    Recommendation
    Only assign a report category if you have created your own reports or if
    the selection screens in the standard system do not meet your
    requirements.
    Activities
    1.  Choose Edit -> New entries.
    2.  Perform the required assignment using the Program name and Report
       category fields.
    3.  Save your entries.
    reward if helpful
