Reporting glitch in Settings...

I wanted to report bug/glitch with tab-switch in "Settings" in "Manage Storage" under the "iCloud" category. Not sure if anyone else has experienced it or not. Little hard to explain but I will do my best. I was managing the apps in iCloud backup section, basically switching off to most of the apps listed. I slide it to off, the prompt appears asking if I'm sure I want to turn it off, but right as Im about to "ok" the deletion, it slides back to on. I still ok the request and skip over the next app to slide off and when I do this, the one app I had a problem with switch sliding back to its previous position suddenly slides to off. It does it almost every time. Sometimes, several switches that were switched off suddenly appears to be switched back to on and then when I switch off another app, then I see them one-by-one slide back to off without any help from me.
Anyone else irritated that in order to delete a long list of apps and such that you must select okay before proceeding. Takes time and rather slow.
I would like to be able to report bugs or glitches in the future and wonder if there's a designated page or email address for bug/glitch/error reports to be sent in by users.

  • Result set too large in BI report; Safety belt settings in WAD

    Hello All,
    When we run a BI report, the error " Result set is too large; data retrieval restricted by configuration" appears. We did a search on SAP portal and found the SAP note 1127156, whics recommends the configuaration of safety belt to limit memory used.
    Acoordingly the cust table RSADMIN has been configured. But on the web template side, we need to configure the changes as well. The note says:
    "1. Use the context menu Properties / Data Provider in a BEx Web Application to maintain the "safety belt" for a Query View.
    2. Choose the register "Size Restriction for Result Sets".
    3. Choose an entry from the dropdown box to specify the maximum number of cells for the result set.
    The following values are available:
    Maximum Number
    Default Number
    Custom-Defined Number
    Behind "Maximum Number" and "Default Number" you can find the current numbers defined in the customizing table RSADMIN (see below).
    4. Save the Query View and use it in another Web Template."
    I am trying to locate these options in the context menu in Web Applications designer but in vain.
    Can anyone help...

    This option is not available in WAD, it will be available when you run the web template under settings, Data Provider for the standard template 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN.
    If you have a custom template you will have to use the Dataprovider settings web item in your custom template to change the values during runtime.

  • Can Bridge report in-camera settings for White Balance?

    No matter what settings I choose in Bridge Preferences, I cannot get it to tell me what was the White Balance (WB) setting of the camera when raw images were shot.
    This seems an odd omission because Camera Raw is passed this information and displays images correctly, although it doesn't report what WB value it was given, only that what you are viewing, prior to any editing, is the default "As Shot".
    I'm referring to raw files shot on my Canon 300D, Nikon D700 and Canon 5D Mark II.
    Currently I'm using PsCS6 (13.0.1.2 x64), Bridge CS6 (5.0.2.4 x64) and ACR 8.1 on a Windows 7 x64 8GB system, but the same omission existed on the same Windows system with ACR 7.x in CS6 and all releases of PsCS5, Bridge CS5 and ACR 6.6 and 6.7.
    On the opening dialog of Bridge Preferences, at the bottom you can choose whether or not you wish to 'Hide Empty Fields'. Selecting or unselecting this option does not have any effect upon Bridge's inability to report WB when, from within Bridge, you select File Info from the File menu or by hitting Ctrl + I.
    The only locations in Bridge Preferences I can find that need selection (and which I have selected) for Bridge to supply WB information upon invoking File Info are here:
    Preferences\Metadata\Camera Data (Exif)\White Balance; and
    Preferences\Metadata\Camera Raw\White Balance
    I have also selected Preferences\Metadata\File Properties\Supports XMP, and yet Bridge fails to give the in-camera WB in the Camera Data tab of File Info.
    I have been able to locate references to WB in the following tabs of File Info:
    File Info\Advanced, where there appears, under the sub-tab 'Exif Properties (http://ns.adobe.com/exif/1.0)', an entry such as 'exif:White Balance:1'; and
    File Info\Raw Data an entry such as '<exif:White Balance >1< /exif:White Balance>'.
    However, these are just code numbers, not names like 'Cloudy' or 'Shade', and they are not only inconsistent (both showing the code 1 for an unedited image I know was shot with Auto WB and another unedited image I know was shot with Flash WB) but also it would appear that the codes may refer to the WB as modified by ACR - because an image I know had its in-camera WB of Auto altered in ACR shows a code of 'Custom' rather than 0, 1 or some other number.
    So what am I missing? Does anyone know how to make Bridge Preferences display the in-camera setting for WB, and if so, under which tab of File Info do you look for the answer once you have set up Preferences properly?

    I'm afraid that you just haven't addressed the question that I asked in my original post.
    I still like to think I have but if you for whatever reason need this info showing in the metadata you probably be better of trying to alter it your self or find a way to address Paul personally (maybe via a private message).
    I have not heard from him for a long time and a small google search provided me with this forum post, hope it helps you, maybe you can also persuaded Paul to come back, he is very missed!

  • Using JavaScript to create reports listing security settings

    Hi...I'm trying to create an Acrobat 8 batch process using a JavaScript that creates a log/report that lists the security settings for each PDF in a directory. I want to be able to periodically run this script so that I can ensure that (a)each file uses the departmental permissions password and (b) that the set of permissions (copying not allowed etc.) are set according to our standard.
    I've looked at the JavaScript reference etc. but am seriously confused. There's a securityhandler object but how can I use that (or something else) to get a list of the doc's security permissions and to check that password x has been used?

    When I use the "+" button to browse the Finder and choose a folder, the privacy tab remaines empty too...
    I've got another problem too. Maybe both are tied, that's why I'll explain it :
    Sometimes, I am not able to rename a folder or a file... When I try to delete the name, it just doesn't work... And sometimes, it works properly...
    For example, yesterday, I created a new folder automatically called "New folder", and I couldn't change the name !
    But today, it has worked properly. But the problem happens so often, that today really is an exception...

  • BUG report - Inconsistent IR settings in Builder

    Most of the reports used in the App Builder have been converted to use Interactive reports which is great. But I find that the IR settings are not consistent across all the reports. I had reported this during the tryapexnow.com beta phase. Now that we can use the new apex_application_install API to load up the Builder apps into our own workpace so we can review how they are built, the Region Utilities > Update Interactive Report Settings page shows this. Or just run the query

    so, i tried this
    select replace(colname, '<''<') from tablename(updated too)
    but its still the same. It is good in database, if i do export to csv , i am having the column value '<' included in it.example "abc<ggggg"
    but in the report its displaying just "abc" .

  • AGPM Difference Report - Identify Changed Settings

    I'm using AGPM 4 SP2 and I had a question about the difference report (against two versions of the same GPO) when there are settings that are changed.  I can run the HTML report and I see the blue settings that are present in both version but with changed
    settings but it doesn't show within each setting what changed.
    For example I checked out the policy and change a user right assignment (Change the system time) by removing a group from it. I checked in the policy and ran a diff report and the "Change the system time" policy shows in blue but there is nothing
    showing the setting as to what group I removed.
    Is this by design or a bug? The blue changes seem pretty useless if it doesn't actually show what the difference in the setting is between the two version

  • Report Print queue settings

    Hi all, 
    I am changing some settings on my print queues. The snmp community names is one of them (for bi-di purposes).
    I would to run a report/audit or simply display it somewhere.. on all print queues to show what community names they are configured with. this way I would able to check if changes have been applied to all or any has been forgotten.
    Servers are 2k3 and 2k8 OS.

    You can use powershell to get a list of WMI print class objects, then loop through the list to get the port name, and determine the SNMP information.   The WMI interface will only enumerate Standard TCP/IP ports.  For any other port types
    you would need to use the spooler API's

  • Report Painter - Display settings of variations

    Hi,
    In my report CO, I have a characteristic which is displayed as a variation. It's a set variable, let's says a group of profit centers (a set of multiple single sets). When execute the report, the value list of variation is always expand-all. It's not quite user-friendly.
    Do you know how to set the variation as by default collapse-all? I know that we can do it as I saw in some SAP sample reports. I tried various ways but still not found any useful.

    Hello Huong Le,
    you can change the setting on the selection screen of the report - but you have to activate the 'expert mode' first: Environment -> Options -> Expert mode.
    As soon as you have this activated, the button 'Variation' will show up where you can choose between 'Explode', 'Single Value' or 'Do not explode'.

    I do have few suggestions for you.
    +Firstly, I would like to kindly request you to run only one version of .Net in your server, and that should be .NET 1.1.
    This is a problem in .NET 2.0. The reason is that there is a "shim
    database" in the registry that the runtime reads to determine if an
    application that is about to load the runtime via COM interop really
    needs an earlier vesion instead. XL Reporter uses .NET 1.1 to run.
    Please refer to the Note 918188 for more details.
    + Also Do you define too many groups or expandings in the report? It also
    may cause the problem. Please kindly make a simple report definition
    to see if the problem persists.
    Hope this will be helpful, and for .NET, I would strongly recommend
    uninstallation of all, then set up of 1.1 then reinstallation of client
    XLR - this may be cumbersome, but it will clear registry files of the
    other existing versions.

    1. SSRS Report Viewer - is there a way to display parameter panel with the question on the top of the web part or left side (it shows on the right side)? Can't seem to find that setting, but seen some samples of the reports that show parameters drop
    down on top of the Viewer.
    2. Using List View Web part to display the items from the external content (sql), but can't seem to find a way to select the record without going into details for this record. In other words - I'd like to display a table with few records, have an ability
    to select the record and pass the ID as a parameter to the report, but also give a user ability to view details of each record. Is there a way to add the radio button or something like that next to each record?

    Hello Everyone.
    I hope this is the right forum for my question.
    We just purchased 8 1121 ACS 5.4 appliances. I have some familiarity with the older 1113 and 1120 appliances running ACS 4.2. So I have a lot to learn.
    Right now I'm trying to understand the Monitoring and Report Viewer System Configuration. I set the SNMP V2 read comm. string to the same string I configured from the CLI.
    etc-labacsb1-1/admin# show runn | inc snmp
    snmp-server contact "ACS1121;XXXXX"
    snmp-server location "B1 Lab"
    snmp-server community XXXXXX ro
    1) It was not the same string as configured on CLI. Does setting this give me access to query more than system type or server type MIB objects.
    2) Can you provide an example? (for example to query a switch -  snmpwalk -v 1 -c XXXXXX hostname 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.43)
    3) What is the MIB object tree OID (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.???) for these ACS appliances?

    that's correct. here is what we have in ACS 5.4 for snmp.
    ACS 5.4 supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) to provide logging services. The SNMP agent provides read-only SNMPv1 and SNMPv2c support. The supported MIBs include:
