Reports output screen

I am using Developer Server 6 and Application Server 4.0.7 on NT
SP5.
When I use browser to run my app and run reports from a form
using run_product with destype=screen or preview, the Windows
Save File dialog appears instead of report output on screen.
Can anybody help me about this problem?.

Hi Vishnu,
Try setting your desformat parameter to 'html'. You may also want
to check the value of the FORMS60_REPFORMAT environment variable.
Ensure that the value for this environment variable is 'html'
rather than 'HTML'. After setting the FORMS60_REPFORMAT
environment variable, restart the forms listener. I experienced
the same problem that you describe, and the above fix worked for
me.

  • 'Save layout' button missing in the ALV report layout screen

    Hi Friends,
         In one of our ALV report the 'save layout' button is missing in the report output screen.i have used the OO concept for creating the ALV output and not the function module.I have attached the code below used for creating the ALV grid.
    CREATE OBJECT alv_grid
          EXPORTING i_parent = g_container_2.
    CALL METHOD alv_grid->set_table_for_first_display
         exporting
                   i_structure_name = 'PA0002'
                   is_layout =
           CHANGING
                     it_outtab = gt_outtab
                     it_fieldcatalog = wa_fieldcat.
    But i'm not able to trace why the 'save layout' button is missing in the output.Can anyone of you help me in sorting out this problem.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vadivel.

    Pass <u><i><b>A to I_SAVE</b></i></u> parameter. That will give the options to the user to save the layout outs.
    I_SAVE = SPACE
    Layouts cannot be saved.
    I_SAVE = 'U'
    Only user-defined layouts can be saved.
    I_SAVE = 'X'
    Only global layouts can be saved.
    I_SAVE = 'A'
    Both user-defined and global layouts can be saved.

    Vipin,
    U will have to use OLE methods to format your MS-WORD output.
    Check the tcode  DWDM for sample code
    Also check out the threads:
    Get WORD Options with OLE

    Not so long ago I had a similiar problem all data (originally taken from several columns) were in one column - solved it with the help of VB coding.

  • Link to SAP Report Output from SAP Mail Inbox

    Hi Experts,
    I wants to send a link of SAP  ALV  Report output screen to SAP mail inbox and if a user clicks that link ,the report output
    screen should open and user has to see & interact  the ouput of that  ALV Report.how can i achieve this without webdynpro
    and workflow.
    Regards,
    Veera.

    Hi Asif
    When I said 'pdf/rtf/html/htmlcss', I meant any one of the above.
    You need to run the report as:
    rwrun60 <report_name> <connection_string> desformat=pdf destype=mail desname=<email_id> batch=yes
    In case you want to mail as HTMLCSS, replace PDF in DESFORMAT option in the above command to:
    DESFORMAT=HTMLCSS.

    hi,
    u can do it using submit statement.

            ... LIST NAME name
            ... LIST DATASET dsn

    3. ... Further parameters (for passing variants)
            are described in the documentation for SUBMIT
    The syntax check performed in an ABAP Objects context is stricter than in other ABAP areas. See Missing print parameters with SUBMIT.
    Effect
    Calls the report rep with list output to the SAP spool database.
    Additions
    ... DESTINATION dest(output device)
    ... COPIES cop(number of copies)
    ... LIST NAME name(name of list)
    ... LIST DATASET dsn(name of spool dataset)
    ... COVER TEXT text(title of spool request)
    ... LIST AUTHORITY auth(authorization for display)
    ... IMMEDIATELY flag(print immediately ?)
    ... KEEP IN SPOOL flag(keep list after print ?)
    ... NEW LIST IDENTIFICATION flag(new spool request ?)

    ... ARCHIVE MODE armode(archiving mode)
    ... ARCHIVE PARAMETERS arparams(structure with archiving
    parameters)
    ... WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO(skip print control screen)
    With the parameters IMMEDIATELY, KEEP IN SPOOL, NEW LIST IDENTIFICATION and COVER TEXT, flag must be a literal or character field with the length 1. If flag is blank, the parameter is switched off, but any other character switches the parameter on. You can also omit any of the sub-options of PRINT ON. mode with SAP COVER PAGE can accept the values ' ', 'X' and 'D'. These values have the following meaning:
    ' ' : Do not output cover sheet
    'X' : Output cover sheet
    'D' : Cover sheet output according to printer setting
    armode with ARCHIVE MODE can accept the values '1', '2' and '3'. These values have the following meaning:
    '1' : Print only
    '2' : Archive only
    '3' : Print and archive
    arparams with ARCHIVE PARAMETERS must have the same structure as ARC_PARAMS. This parameter should only be processed with the function module GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS.
    Effect
    Output is to the SAP spool database with the specified parameters. If you omit one of the parameters, the system uses a default value. Before output to the spool, you normally see a screen where you can enter and/or modify the spool parameters. However, you can suppress this screen with the following statement:
    ... TO SAP-SPOOL WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO
    You could use this option if all the spool parameters have already been set!
    reward points if hlpful.
    Note
    When specifying the LINE-SIZE, you should not give any value > 132 because most printers cannot print wider lists.
    Addition 2
    ... SPOOL PARAMETERS params(structure with print
    parameters)
    ... ARCHIVE PARAMETERS arparams(Structure with archive
    parameters)
    ... WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO(skip print parameters
    screen)
    Effect
    Output is to the SAP spool database with the specified parameters. The print parameters are passed by the field string params which must have the structure of PRI_PARAMS. The field string can be filled and modified with the function module GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS. The specification arparams with ARCHIVE PARAMETERS must have the structure of ARC_PARAMS. This parameter should only be processed with the function module GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS. Before output to the spool, you normally see a screen where you can enter and/or modify the spool parameters. However, you can suppress this screen with the following statement:
    ... WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO
    Example
    Without archiving

    Hi Imrangs ,
    Ur requirement is not clear -
    if u want ur selection screen and the output screen on the same screen, i.e if u fill ur selection options with input and press the button then ur ALV will display on the same screen. For this try to use Screen painter, it will get resolved.

    Hi all,
    I have a selection screen which has 3 tabstrips.
    The screen nos are 101,102  and 103.
    Now in each tab there are different input parameters and based on each tab there will be 3 different outputs.
    i.e when I click on tab1 and give the required inputs i will get 1 report output.
    similarly I will get different ouput in the other 2 tabs.
    Can any one suggest some solution how to achieve this.
    Thanks and Regards

    Look for documentation at [SELECTION-SCREEN - TABBED BLOCK |http://help.sap.com/abapdocu/en/ABAPSELECTION-SCREEN_TABBED.htm]
    Adapgt the sample provided, and in the START-OF-SELECTON event add a CASE/WHEN to execute whichever report you want based on mytab-dynnr value.

  • FM to display Selection screen on report output??

    Hi Experts,
    Is there an FM to display Selection screen on report output.
    Thanks In Advance.

    Hi Ashwin,
    Refer to below link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2a/755b94ca5911d299af5c9604c10e27/content.htm
    or
    The easiest way is to define your selection screen in the TOP include of your module pool.
    Then call the selection screen.
    Selection Screen
    selection-screen begin of screen 1010 as window title text-001.
    selection-screen begin of block b1 with frame title text-002.
    parameters: p_vornr type resb-vornr,
    p_refno(20) type c,
    p_plnid type zplcfg-plnid as listbox visible length 20,
    p_sorts type c as listbox visible length 20.
    selection-screen begin of line.
    selection-screen comment (20) text-004.
    selection-screen position 33.
    parameters: p_order as checkbox default 'X'.
    selection-screen end of line.
    selection-screen end of block b1.
    selection-screen end of screen 1010.
    Now call the selection screen.
    call selection-screen 1010.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
    perform get_production_orders.
    perform process_orders.
    endif.

  • FI Report Painter (FGI1) - add new button in output screen

    Hi all,
    I have a report created by tcode FGI1 (Create Drill-down Report) which bases on form 0SAPBSPL-01 (Fin. Statement: Actual/Actual Comparison). I wanna know if there are any ways to add a new button in output screen after report execution (i.e to print the content into smartforms).
    Thanks in advance.
    Solaris.

    Instead of creating after the output you can add the button to create the form on the main screen itself i.e. program SAPMKCEE screen1125. Either on the application tool bar or on the screen 1125.
