I have a task - i have to use "SELECT-OPTIONS of one program into select statements of another program, Please solve my problem.

Hi Ranjit,
Try using SUBMIT option with the addition SELTAB.
You can also pass the select options along with the SUBMIT statement. Take a look at the help.
Code used to populate 'select-options' & execute report

I have developed a custom report . The output options of this report needs to be included in Selection screen like in SQ01 queries, there should be option to output the report results in different formats like List Viewer, ABAP List, Spread Sheet etc.,.

Excel is not showing multiple Drill thru report selection option
We have created 3 drill thru reports in EIS, excel is not showing Select Drill-Through Report Dialog Box when tying to acess drill thru reports. It defaultly executes the first drill thru report, we want it to list the available reports so that we can select accordingly after view/launch is selected.

Dear Friends,
We have one requirement,i.e. In Report program i am using select-option once will execute the program ALV report will be generated.In ALV Report we have one button like 'WM DATA'.Once click the WMDATA one pop-up is displaying...In that pop-up also same select-options are there upto here it's working fine...Now my problem is on pop-up select-options i have to display by default..... which i am using on report select-options values.
Please help on the same

Changing field label for standard select option
Hi All,
I need to change the label for one of the standard select option for the custom report category.
the field is PNPSTAT1 - original label is - Customer-Specific Status - which i need to change as per customer requirement.
Can anyone tell me the way i can do it so that it can be viewed with correct label not only on the selection screen but in further selections mode as well.

create a implicit enhancement for any standard program and wrote the below code at the end of the program and it is working..

Report help for multiple Date Select options
Hi Friends,
For a particular year wise report, the client wants 12 date select-options which are changeable and informal every year .The report will also be displayed as per the given date selection period wise. Please help me how to fetch the datas from the table as per the given selection period. Currently the report have one date select-option where the user gives selection range as 1.04 to 31.03. It's related to EB power consumption report and hence the new requirement on date selection which are informal and not a fixed date of every year.
Ex:Selection-Screen
Period 1 : 08.04.2008 to 12.05.2008
Period 2: 12.05.2008 to 20.06.2008
Period 3: 21.06.2008 to 28.07.2008
Period 4: 29.07.2008 to 15.08.2008
Period 5: 15.08.2008 to 21.09.2008
Period 6 : 21.09.2008 to 14.10.2008
The data will derive as per the above selection ranges.......

Hi,
In this case just derive all records matching dates between 08.04.2008 (low in first select-options) and 14.10.2008(high in last select-options.
Also my advice is to use a single select-options and prompt the user to give the dates as ranges in the multiple entries dialog which can be opened by clicking the button on the right side of the select-options.

Report text element as selection option

I encounter a performance problem in a report program that include a self define fields in the selection option. I use the FM READ_TEXT to read those fields and compare with the user input.Then, eliminates those unmatched records with if else statement.

i found one perfromance issue, try to remove the "INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE " in your select statement, the order of the fields that you are fetching and the oreder for the fields in your internal table structure should be same, then you can remove "INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE " and while fetching the fields reffer the table and fields you need to fetch here also you need to main the same order...like you have to do the same in where condition.

How can I create "Select Options" for a variable in the "General Data Selection" of the report painter screen.
Thank You.If you specify selection parameters for several years and periods in a
Report Writer or Report Painter report, the characteristics year and
period are taken into account independent of each other.
A report with the selections:
From-year : 1997
To-year : 1999
From-period : 003
To-period : 008
will hence select all the following data:
003/1997 .. 008/1997, 003/1998 .. 008/1998, 003/1999 .. 008/1999
This is the standard behavior of Report Writer and Report Painter
reports.
However, reports which directly display the data for the period
003/1997 ............................................. 008/1999
are required in some cases.

I have written a very simple ABAP list report, that contains a single select-option. On the selection screen, I have the option of entering multiple values, with each new value being displayed directly underneath the old, but I am only getting the first value entered on the screen displayed. Does anyone have any sample code for me?

Select_Options consists of 4 parameters, in with the range consists in eg...
Select-options s_vbeln for vbak-vbeln.
then s_vbeln-low, s_vbeln-high are the range values...
So whne you write select query.
write vbeln in s_vbeln
instead of vbeln eq s_vbeln

In the layout you need to create another view container and embed the view WND_SELECTION_SCREEN of the new used component to it.

Select Option with masked entry in GRR3 report
Hi,
I am trying to find out if it is possible in standard to call a grr3 report like s_alr_87013611 (cost center report) and be able to enter the cost element like 4* to get all values for cost elements starting with 4.
When trying this I get an error message and the only select option that appears is "=".
In a KE80 report like S_ALR_87013326 on profit centers I can select the account and here it works fine with 4*.

I noted in another post, that you can set the default value in the entity object, and this can carry through to the List-based object and retain that as the "selected" option.
How do you set the selected option programmatically/via properties or tag attributes, without doing something like this:

Adding Selection Options Fields in Report(Using Query)
Hi,
how can we add Selection Fields Options in Query Reports Which we create using SQ01. I need a default option by which we can add all the selection option given by user.
Anybody can help me..?

lijo JosephDo you have anything defined in the 'Calcs' section?
If so, any fields returned by the query that are not included in the calculation will be automatically added to the Group fields (using the same logic as required with calculations/group by in any SQL query). The fields won't be able to be removed from the Group list unless the Calc is also removed.
