How do you get iTunes U to resend an activation email?
Also,
I am pretty sure that this is correct but I said I would ask. What would cause a school to be removed from the university listings? Lack of new content?

To have your activation email resent you can send an email to [email protected]
If your site had been previously listed and is no longer on the list, most likely the site was not transitioned to an iTunes U Public Site Manager based site by the April 12, 2011 deadline. Notices were sent to all site administrators for public sites regarding this transition.     I hope someone can help, I am having problems with people not been able to activate their account as email may have gone to spammail and deleted.
    I am having to delete people from the database directly to accommodate their request to become a member.
    Is there a way to create a "re-send activation email" just like the forgot password?
    Can anyone detail how to do this or if there is a script anywhere please let me know where I can get it....

    Thats great after a little more playing around and configering everything I got it to work.
    A little different from yours but based on mainly the same details and I tested it and it works!!!
    I think we should give our selves a pat on the back.
    So here its how it's done everyone. Follow these steps
    1. Set up a dynamic list/ recordset from the user registration ( or what ever you called it)table
    2. Create a filter of the (EmailAddress in table to = "Form Variable" EmailAddress entered in the form on the webpage to update.
    Set up an update form with basic details displayed as text (I.e. only the email address)
    Change the button name to send activation email or whatever takes your fancy and add a send email from recordset trigger.
    in the message box add something like this:

    <p>To activate your account, click on the following link:<br>

    When you click on the send activation email it will send an email to the user with a link to activate their account.
    I feel like a million pounds and that I may have helped many people who have had this irriating problem.
    I have to give much credit to Laurence as I would not have come across how to put it all together without his advise.

  • Activation Emails never received

    We have an 18-member Creative Cloud team.
    Lately when we add a new member, that employee never receives the activation email.
    A small number of team members get the email immediately.  Most never do.
    Adobe phone support instructs us to wait 24 additional hours.  We've waited as many as three days, nothing.
    They recommend checking spam filters, but our systems administration team watches the Exchange backend to provide Adobe support with UUID of the email at the server level.  No Adobe email ever even reaches our organization.
    System is hopelessly broken, and we experience no answer from Adobe phone support, and cannot function as a team with the Creative Cloud product.

    I had some internal checking the user's on your account which hadn't accepted their invites, the first one, abarrett, did appear to have an issue from our side, but the other two should be working okay
    Could you try resending them all from your side, I think you'll need to remove and re-add them as described here in the resend section here:Creative Cloud Help | Manage your Creative Cloud for teams membership
    These are the ones I had checked: abarrett, ambera, angel
    Please try resending them all and make note of the time you did it. I can confirm they were sent from our side if needed

  • I have not got a verification email for my password for the apple id that i created over two weeks ago.  i have tried resetting my password and resending the email but nothing comes though and i can not buy anything on itunes.

    i have an apple account, but i created a new one because none of the passwords i use worked on it (i hadnt been on in a while)
    so i set up another account with the same email and a new password on January 27.  i have chevcked my emails every day since then and my junk email folder and there is nothing there to help me!
    i cant log on to or use my itunes at all because it tells me that i havent verified my password and every time i click resend verification email and nothing comes to my email.
    i dont know what to do now,  i have just tried to reset my password online and it said that it worked, but when i go on itunes there is still nothing working...

    If the iCloud account you are trying to delete is old ID that was later updated to change it to your current ID, you can go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now, if desired, you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    I got my activation e-mail rather quickly; however, something is wrong with my Developer enrollment (I registered as an individual and it says they are trying to verify my identity to see if I can act on my company's behalf--which does not make sense because I registered as an individual).
    Apple has my $99 too and I also am unable to contact them due to the same redirect problem you are facing.
    I am wondering if there is a recent bug on their site that needs to be addressed (seems like it is getting caught in a loop while trying to verify the device and/or browser).  I have posted a question as well so let's hope this gets resolved soon.

    I am working on a SCSM change control workflow driven by email. 
    A lot of my work is based on the information found in this post:

    This is an excellent post to which my Internet searches continually return. The workflow is about 90% complete. 
    My question is can I insert the properties of a related object of the parent workitem in a workflow email notification? 
    For example, I want to include the name property of the RequestedByUser related object of the parent workitem object in a review activity notification.

    Thank you for your reply.  I have confirmed my template is using a projection that includes the parent workitem and requested by user.  Where I am having trouble is the notification template syntax used to call the properties of the related
    object of the parent workitem.  The picker in the GUI won't show that related object, so I have no example to follow.  I hope this reply makes sense!

  • Problems when I resend an email with attachments

    I am using Mail 7,0 with Mavericks.
    I am having problems resending emails. If I resend any email wihout any attached file, the receiver does not have any problem and and he gets the body text and all the chained mails in the proper order and format. However, when I resend an email with one or more attached files, then I am having a lot of problems because the receiver everything scrambled!!, the body text is received as an attachment and all the images or logos included in my signautre are also received as an attachment.
    I did not have this problem in the past. I have bee exploring Mail Preferences and have tried several different things, but I have been able of solving this disgussting problem.
    I would thank very much if someone has had the same problem and can help me to solve the problem.

    Hope everyone is doing well
    I am having some problems with my latest user registration pages for my site
    I am havving problems sending the
    activation email
    I have set up my server to relay emails and it works ok      I use a linux server and  cpenel and outlook expres as my mail client...... I configured an email account in my cpanel called     admin @mysite.com      I used the automatic configure outlook express to configure outlook    
       I can send and recieve emails to and from my Yahoo account using my yahoo adress to [email protected]     and I can send emails from outlook ex using     [email protected]     to my yahoo email
    I then created the user registration pages for my site with email activation .........
    All wen well then I tried to test and got the following error ....
    Developer Details:
    E-mail couldn't be sent. Error returned: Failed to connect to mail.mysite.com:25 [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: Connection timed out (code: -1, response: )]. (EMAIL_FAILED)
    So I looked at my email settings in my control panel........      I have tried every possible combination of information to get it to work and I still get the same error
    I have tried     
    mail server      mail.mysite.com                                    This is the same info that is described in the manual settings for my email config in cpanel
              port       25
       username     [email protected]                               This is the email account I set up in cpanel    web mail
       password      **********
    default sender  [email protected]

    nothing works
    I can find nothing to help at all on the net
    I did read that the settings should be exactly the same as the working settings from outlook express....... so I checked the settings in outlook express, that work, and put all the same settings in my email settings in ADDT control panel .....
    And it still does not work
    I still get the same error
    The  strange thing is that I can send and recieve email from outlook using the email [email protected] , using the mail server    mail.mysite.com
    but when I use exactly the same info in addt I get the error
    Is driving me crazy
    Can someone please tell me the correct information to fill in on my email settings ......?    in detail ........
    I have read the help documentation and  is no help at all
    I am lost

    So Mysite is your ISP.  They should be able to describe on their website what settings you need.
    (1) Mail Server - the name of their mail server ([email protected]?)
    (2) Port - you may need to specify the actual port to be used, I know I do.
    (3) Username - The user name you use when you log into your Mysite account
    (4) Password - The password you use
    Both username and password are case sensitive.
    This information should be on one of their admin pages for explanation.
    Sorry, this may not help you much.

  • Is there a means to resend 'approval' emails again if not actioned:?

    We are using SRM server 5.0, Classic Scenario.  When approval emails are sent to users,we have many who don't process the carts in a timely manner.
    Is there a way to automatically trigger a resend the email or possibly some notification to indicate to them that there is a cart pending their approval?  Ideally we would like to do this after 2 or 3 days.  Is this something that can be invoked in SRM without too much trouble?

    Workflows are build using transaction SWDD.
    Go to your workflow template and select the task you need to monitor. You can configure the tabs Requested Start, Latest start and Requested End for deadline monitoring.
    You can configure the time in which the item has to be executed in MINS, HRS, DAYS, WKS and Months.

    Well over 48 hours now for me. I spent 3 weeks checking every few hours if enrollment was back online and now I'm having to spend additional days waiting for activation D:
    They sure didn't have any trouble taknig my money though
    Edit: So I managed to get hold of someone at Apple and apparently they have a problem with their internal systems that means none of the enrollments are accessible to them, or something like that. There is no ETA on a fix. Probably looking at days more.
    Apple really have handled this whole process smoothly
