Reset manager password

Is there any way to reset the manager password to manager? The changed password has been forgotten.

Hi,
Only super user can change or reset the manager (Super user) user password.
In your case you have forgotten your manager user login. Please raise a ticket to SAP to get the support.
You can solve this issue by using update query (syntax) in SQL. But sap will not support or allow using update function.

I've made extensive modifications to a training database and changed the password of MANAGER so no one can mess with my template. But I want to change the password of the MANAGER account back to "manager" for training purposes.
And darn it, it won't let me. Error 10003509-5, Username must be different from password.

Uhn, yeah, actually that would cause the exact same message. You're not allowed to use the username as a part of the password.
What I'm trying to do is restore the manager password to "manager" so the users can just click "ok" like they would when the start to set up their own systems. Only the username "manager" and password "manager" provides that capability.

Nearlynormalnora it is likely that something is interfering with the sign in process for the Adobe Application Manager. You could log a message to sap support to reset the manager password. They can help you.
if you have no time, you could use this 1st query:
update live.dbo.ousr set password = '2131FWQ' where user_code = 'manager'
to know such password, you could run this 2nd query in the demo db because some demo db uses password : manager :
select password from demo.dbo.ousr where user_code = 'manager'
Copy the password and paste to the first code. Before run the update, you may set the auto update statistic option in the db properties --> options : false. As about me, I never set it because it is for demo db only.
The update or insert or delete are not supported by SAP so I think it would be better ask the sap support's help.

SSHR manager: Password reset, Notification link removed

Hi experts
If i use SSHR as manager, i can see all the Notification. I have reset my password and came back to the page. Unfortunately i can see only my Leaves, but not the data from my staff.
How can this happen, as i changed my password. Whta is the reason, why i can not see the Notifications any more. Thus i can not approve the absences any more.
Pls. give me some ideas.

You may try to put html code in the value for
"resetPassMail.message" of file amPasswordResetModuleMsgs.properties.
If this does not work there�s no other possiblity.

I need to reset my Apple ID (a Yahoo account). My problem is the Yahoo account is disabled and can't be recovered and I don't remember the answers to the security questions. How can I reset my password?

My iCloud account keeps resetting my password. How can i reset all my Apple devices at once?

I have 8 devices to reset each time. It resets the password anywhere from 3 days up to 2 weeks. I getting a little much to keep doing this.

I have this same issue. If you have had your Apple ID for a long time, there used to be a setting that indicated the frequency in which it would force a reset. The switch to change that frequency is no longer part of the Apple ID management website. I read online that calling Apple could help - that they would reset it for you. My main account on my iPad is based off an email address that no longer exists and can not be recreated. On top of that I forgot the password and answers to the security questions. So I can not reset the password. any suggestions?

I Now get constant pop ups to logon to iCloud but it wants a password that I forgot. I also forgot the security question answers. It can not email me a password reset because the email no longer exists and Verizon won't let me recreate it. Every time I reset my password to update my apps, and go back to use the newly created password, it keeps telling me the password is incorrect.

Yes, this happens directly on my iPhone. I go to my App Store icon on my phone, try to "Update All" and my username pops up lookng for the password. I type in the password, and it keeps saying it is incorrect. When I follow the prompts to "reset" a password, I create a new, go back, and the NEW password I just created, literally seconds ago, NEVER WORKS! Go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID.

Do you have OS X and OS 9 installed on your Mac? If so, startup with the Option key depressed. This will open the Startup Manager window. Select the OS you want to start from & click the right arrow.

Install or Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
      left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
        the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
      the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
            because it is three times faster than wireless.
