Resizing loading image of the portal

Hello Xperts,
I have a requirement where I want to resize the loading image loading_ani.gif.
I was able to replace the default image and put client specific image. Now I want to increase height of the default place holder that holds the image.
Any helpful suggestion will be highly appreciated.
Thank you,
Ashutosh

Hey Santosh,
Theme allowed me to change the default image. Which is already done.
But I did not find a way to specify the size of the image.
Any idea?
Ashutosh

  • Web Dispatcher not doing the load balancing on the portal

    Hi Experts
    I am having a production issue where the SAP web dispatcher is not doing the load balancing on the portal.
    We have ESS/MSS portal with 1 Message server and 2 Application servers. The Web dispatcher is installed on the message server itself. Here is my Web disp profile file

    In my Web dispatcher Admin page, I see all the three application servers, however the requests are going to only 1 App server. We are using ENd to End SSL configuration for the web dispatcher.
    We also have a reverse proxy in the landscape and reverse proxy is forwarding all the requests to the Web dispatcher. In Web disp Admin page>Dispatching Module>SSL End to END dispatching, I see only ONE table entry in the dispatching table and it is our Reverse Proxy.
    As all the requests are coming from only one source (Reverse proxy), it seems to me that the sap web dispatcher  is forwarding those to the same Application server every time.
    Can anyone please advise ?
    I also tried to configure logon group in NWA, the web dispatcher is detecting the logon group and all the app servers in the logon group. It still not doing the load balancing.
    I would greatly appreciate any help.
    Thanks

    Vincent, can you please elaborate more ?  Is the web dispatcher not able to recognize stateful and stateless application requests ?
    I saw that the procedure for configuring SSL Termination on Web dispatcher is long and complicated and looks like SAP web dispatcher needs to have SSL certificate of its own. As we have no ABAP servers and only Java servers, I can not even create the PSEs using STRUST (as described in SAP help -http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/48/99c388d7c46bb9e10000000a42189d/frameset.htm
    We already have SSL certificates for Java App servers.
    I suppose there should be a way for web dispatcher to identify the incoming requests and forward to appropriate application servers.
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Thanks

  • After I click system preferences to change my screensaver, it will say loading images and the cursor will be loading. How do i fix this ?

    After I click system preferences to change my screensaver, it will say loading images and the cursor will be loading. How do i fix this to be able to change my screensaver and not have my computer do this?

    Try system preferences>desktop,click desktop tab. Click the Apple folders, iPhoto, or folders. Click the pic you want on the icon, it should put the pic as your wallpaper. You can change the picture if you change picture if you click it and the time.  Unless I don't understand your question.  ATB

  • Why can't I resize jpg images in the applet?

    I used this code to display images in an html page. One applet for one image. But out of the 8 images I loaded, 6 adjusted themselves to 320x240 automatically, 1 randomly jumps around to certain parts of the image every 250millisecs, and 1 just cuts the top left hand part of 320x240. How can .jpg files give 3 different situations? I tried using the resize() method in the code but it doesn't do anything! How can I size those .jpg images to the size I want?

    you may try the function getScaledInstance(int,int,int) in Class Image.
    the first and second parameters are the width and height you want,the third parameter is hints-flags to indicate the type of algorithm to use for image resampling.

  • Please help to load image in the database

    Hi to all. ....
    I need to save image file in the database thru forms ...
    I have some image file in the application server and I need to load it in the database in a Blob col..
    Any help ... ??
    Thank's in advance

    Hi!
    Your forms version is very important.
    If you use forms 10g and you want to load the image on the client, you need webutil.
    If you use forms 6 or you want to load the image from the application server to
    a image item in your form, you can use the read_image_file forms build-in:
    read_image_file ( 'x:\path\image.jpg.', 'JPG', 'block.image_item' );On forms 10g this will be executed on the server and the filename and path has to be
    a physical place on your servers harddisk.
    The image item has to be an item of type image and must be assinged to a blob colum in your table.

  • Load images in the correct order, needs help..

    I have tried loading in some images in the order of the xml files.. that contain them ..
    they did load in one by one but .. in  random order .. so mabe i am doing too much or too liitle can some one give it asecond look for me ..
    //-- load Xml
    urlLoader.load(new URLRequest("loader_alpabet/loader_alpabet.xml"));
    urlLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,xmlReady);
    this.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,entFrm);
    // process the Xml and create array of objs
    function xmlReady(evt:Event):void {
         xml=new XML(evt.target.data);
         var xmlListUrls:XMLList=new XMLList(xml.image.url.text());
         var xmlListNames:XMLList=new XMLList(xml.image.name.text());
         var xmlListDescs:XMLList=new XMLList(xml.image.description.text());
         for (var g:Number = 0; g < xmlListNames.length(); g++) {
              imagePack.push({name:xmlListNames[g],url:xmlListUrls[g],desc:xmlListDescs[g]});
              if (xmlListUrls.length()==imagePack.length) {
                   loaderMachine();
    //this is where i position the images
    function entFrm(evt:Event):void {
         if (imageIcons.length>0) {
              for (var g:Number = 0; g < imageIcons.length; g++) {
                   imageIcons[g].x=(centerX+Math.cos(angle+g)*radiusX)-imageIcons[g].width/2;
                   imageIcons[g].y=(centerY+Math.sin(angle+g)*radiusY)-imageIcons[g].height/2;
                   imageIcons[g].scaleX=imageIcons[g].scaleY= ((imageIcons[g].y/150) - 0.5);
                   stage.addChildAt(imageIcons[g], imageIcons[g].scaleX);
                   angle+=speed;
    //-- loader function
    function loaderMachine():void {
         trace(imagePack.length);
         loader = new Loader();
         loader.load(new URLRequest(imagePack[count].url));
         loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,imageReady);
    // put image on stage
    function imageReady(evt:Event):void {
         var image:Bitmap = (Bitmap)(evt.target.content);
         addChild(image);
         imageIcons.push(image);
         count++;
         if (count<imagePack.length) {
              loaderMachine();

    ah, I missed the 2nd version of the code
    You have to take the loaderMachine(); call out of the loop, call it after the loop.
    function xmlReady(evt:Event):void {
         xml=new XML(evt.currentTarget.data);
         var xmlListUrls:XMLList=new XMLList(xml.image.url.text());
         var xmlListNames:XMLList=new XMLList(xml.image.name.text());
         var xmlListDescs:XMLList=new XMLList(xml.image.description.text());
         for (var g:Number = 0; g < xmlListNames.length(); g++) {
              imagePack.push({name:xmlListNames[g],url:xmlListUrls[g],desc:xmlListDescs[g]});
          // start loading images
         loaderMachine();
    You're overwriting you loader instance each time you load an image, that's not good if you want it to stick around (display each loaded image).
    So in the method, create a local Loader instance and add it to the Array stack.
    Don't start the enterFrame event handler until all images are loaded.
    You can do so in the imageReady() event handler (check if counter equals array length).
    Don't add event listeners in the enterFrame event handler, you're adding them over and over again.
    So remove these from entFrm()
    imageIcons[g].addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER,btn_mouse);
    imageIcons[g].addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT,btn_mouse);
    Don't use Event.target (unless you know what you're doing), use currentTarget instead.
    function imageReady(evt:Event):void {
         var loader:Loader = (event.currentTarget as LoaderInfo).loader;
         loader.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER, btn_mouse);
         loader.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT, btn_mouse);
         addChild((loader);
         count++;
         if (count<imagePack.length) {
              loaderMachine();
        }else{
              addEventListener(Event.ENTERFRAME, entFrm);
    Don't use Array.length in a loop condition, as this will check the lenght with each iteration, slowing down the loop.
    Set it to a local variable once and use that as the loop condition.
    var len:uint = imageIcons.length;
    for(var i:uint=0; i<len; i++) {}
    Last but not least, you're probably better off using a tween engine rather than an enterFrame event to move things around.
    Look into TweenLite.
    http://blog.greensock.com/tweenlite/
    It now looks like the enterFrame event continues untill you roll over one of the buttons? If so, that can't be good..
    function loaderMachine():void {
         var loader:Loader = new Loader();
         loader.load(new URLRequest(imagePack[count].url));
         loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, imageReady);
         imageIcons.push(loader);

  • Loading images inside the package structure

    i am having trouble loading images that are imbedded into the package structure. I am assuming this is possible(99.9% sure)
    the classes are
    cardgameframework/CardGame.class
    cardgameframework/cardsupport/Card.class
    cardgameframework/cardsupport/images/2D.GIF
    cardgameframework/cardsupport/images/2C.GIF
    how do i load 2D.gif and 2C.gif from CardGame
    i tried
    Image i = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit.getImage(
    "/cardgameframe/cardsupport/images/2C.GIF");
    and
    Image i = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit.getImage(getClass().getResource(
    "/cardgameframe/cardsupport/images/2C.GIF"));
    but neither of these seem 2 work
    any help would be appreciated

    My initial thought is that you've got the package wrong in your two examples - you've got cardgameframe and not cardgameframework.
    Anyway, I tend to use the latter of your approaches - getClass().getResource("/cardgameframework/cardsupport/images/2D.GIF").
    Be careful of case in your URLs.
    Note that if getResource can't find your file it will return null - ensure that you're getting back a non-null URL:
    URL url = getClass().getResource("/cardgameframework/cardsupport/images/2D.GIF");
    System.out.println("URL: " + url);
    ...If your URL is non-null then the problem will be with the format of your image file (if it is null then you'll get a NullPointerException eventually).
    Hope this helps.

  • How to load images from the library (png)?

    This is my first time using the forum so sorry if it's not professionally set up. I am trying to make an inventory system and I'm trying to find a way to have a Slot (MovieClip) holding a child of probably another MovieClip witch will display the icon according to whatever is in that Slot... As soon as I figure out how to have a MovieClip display an image and then change that image by loading it from the library, I can finish the rest! So let me try to demonstrate:
    (Note: This is not actual code, it's just a demonstration of what I'm trying to accomplish)
    Item1 = Name: "HP Potion", Icon: "HP_Potion.png"
    Item2 = Name: "MP Potion", Icon: "MP_Potion.png"
    Item3 = Name: "Sword", Icon: "Sword.png"
    Item4 = Name: "Shield", Icon: "Shield.png"
    Slot1.nameField.text = Item1.Name //HP Potion
    Slot1.mc_img = Item1.Icon//HP_Potion.png
    ~Ok so what I am trying to do is see if there is a way to change what image the MovieClip displays, just by code. I don't want to put each individual picture in a frame on the MovieClip's timeline
    Sorry about not having any code, I've been working on it for a few hours, and I can't find anything online that doesn't say put it in a timeline.
    If you know how to do what I'm asking with a spritesheet instead of individual images, that's fine too! I'll just have to join all the images together

    Alright so let's get down to buisness... what I'm asking, is it impossible to make it simple? I can't just change the bitmap of the MovieClip. If you open up the MovieClip and view it's timeline, the image is a bitmap file withing that MovieClip so if you're able to manipulate other things of a MovieClip, you should be able to manipulate that too right? Such as "MovieClip.Bitmap" (I know that's not the actual property but could it be done?).

  • Loading Image outside the jar

    I have a .jar program that saves and loads imagens from a folder outside the jar. In my directory I have:
    myProg.jar
    images(folder)
    This is the way myProg.jar saves the images:
    BufferedImage myImage; //myImage is initialized somewhere else
    File file = new File("images/Pic"+temp+".jpg");
        try{
        ImageIO.write(myImage, "jpg", file);
           }catch(IOException io){}
    }catch(AWTException ea){}When I check the image is saved in my folder "images"
    Then, the prog tries to load the images this way:
    URL url = getClass().getResource("/images/"+name+".jpg");
    ImageIcon icon;
             if (url != null) {
                  icon = new ImageIcon(url);
                  picture.setIcon(icon);
             else {
                  url = getClass().getResource("/images/street.jpg");
                  icon = new ImageIcon(url);
                  picture.setIcon(icon);
             }Here I have an exception : Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueued-0" java.lang.NullPointerException
    I checked the url and its ok.
    Hope someone help.

    Well, I modified the getJarPath method to this:
    String getJarPath1(){
              String path=System.getProperty("java.class.path");
              for(int i=0;i<=path.length()-1;i++)
                   if(path.charAt(i)==';'){
                        return path.substring(0,i);
              return "";
         }Now I got the path I really need, for example:
    C:\Program Files\Eclipse\Workspace\myProject\images\pic.jpg
    Though, the picture is not loading. Here is what I am doing:
    String path=getJarPath1()+"\\images\\" + name + ".jpg";
    //path=C:\Program Files\Eclipse\Workspace\myProject\images\pic.jpg -> correct path
    URL u=null;
    try{
                 u = new URL(path);   //u is always null! why?
                }catch(MalformedURLException mf){}
    if(u!=null)
             try{
             icon = new ImageIcon(u);
             picture.setIcon(icon);
             }catch(Exception bla){}
             else {
             }Whats happening is that my "path" got the correct path, but when I put it in the URL its becoming null.
    The picture and the folder are in the correct place.
    I hope someone helps. Thx!

  • How to remove a loaded image on the stage from a symbol containing a button?

    1st the setup:
    General map is loaded
    2. On a click event, an larger image of the region is loaded with the following code (thanks to Joel's demo). On mouseover the name of the county appears and on click a popup (symbol) shows some info.
    $('<img id="region1" width="310" height="475" src="images/region1.png" usemap="#region1">'+'<map name="region1">'+...
    '<area id="Dallam" shape="rect" title="Dallam" coords="29,17,97,58"/>'+.....
    3. In the popup symbol, I want the large image map to be remove on the click event of the button: "View another region" . I have the following code which does not work (the image is not removed) resulting in what you see below:
    sym.playReverse();
    sym.getComposition().getStage().stop(0);
    sym.getComposition().getStage().getElementById("region1").remove();
    So my question is how do I remove the image (large image of the region in purple here loaded as described on 2.)?

    I got it. It should be:
    $("#region1").remove();
    // # was missing.
    I actually added that to time 0 on the main timeline so when I got back there it removes the image.
    It's not working from the symbol yet but I guess I should eventually get it working from there instead.
    Thanks for your time.

  • Making a loaded swf-file loading images into the movie..

    Trying to convert my problem from norwegian into english
    isn't always that easy... :)
    Anyway..
    I've created som cool buttons that I want to be loaded into a
    movie (let's call i MainMovie.swf) and from there I want the
    buttons to be able to load images into a movieclip (ImageContainer)
    inside the MainMovie.swf.
    Is it possible to make the MainMovie.swf communicate with the
    the loaded buttons (each button is a swf-file containing the
    actionscript, objects, etc.) so when the buttons are clicked they
    load different images into the ImageContainer?
    My idea here is to include an as.file into the MainMovie.swf
    as well containing the url's to the images that I want to be loaded
    into ImageContainer.
    I've tried to create a button on a layer above the buttons
    that's loaded into the MainMovie.swf but I end up with the loaded
    buttons not working properlu because of the button that I've
    created and placed above them.
    Now, I don't want the url's inside the buttons thats loaded
    into the MainMovie.swf as I want the ability to be able to replace
    those buttons-files without having to use too much time writing the
    url's in each button.
    Thanks folks.

    are all your swfs using as3 or as2? if as3, you won't be
    loading into a movieclip: you'll use a loader instance and you can
    reference (or communictae with) the loaded as3 objects using the
    content property of your loader once you cast it as a
    movieclip.

  • How do I resize an image on the photo layer?

    I am trying to resize an imported image to fit in with my current shapes. Is there a way to do this? I have tried pinching the image on the screen but to no avail.

    You have to resize the whole layer. Tap the three dots on the right of the layer in the Layers panel. Then tap the cross on the left of that menu. You can then pinch to resize the layer

  • Loading images from the client side into ORDImage

    Hi all,
    I want to load images, located on the client computer, into an image-column in an Oracle 8.1.7 database.
    Directly writing the image.source.localedata (via writing to the blob, received by image.getcontent() method) works, but I can not set the image properties like width, height,.. , sourcefilename,...
    Regards Oliver

    I need a little more information. What does "not work" mean?
    Could you post your code? And what error message you are getting?
    I will make a wild assumption that is most certainly wrong and assume that you are trying to set fields in the ordimage object with a SQL insert statement.
    If you want to set a field in an object directly, you MUST include the schema name in the insert statement using dot notation. If you do not, SQL does not know if you are refering to an object with the dot notation, or a schema name. SQL always assumes a schema name in this case.
    So, to set a field in a object requires an insert statement like:
    insert into my_schema.my_table.my_image_column.width values (300);

  • Does iPhone Packager CS 5.5 support camera access and LOADING images from the camera roll?

    Flash CS 5 only supports SAVING to the camera roll, not loading image from it. And it has no access to the camera to take pictures and access the image within the app.
    Does Flash CS 5.5 do these things? There's no point in upgrading if it doesn't support these core feature that I need.

    Hi.
    Just got an app  rejected because the popover to select the pics from the camera roll on  the iPad always appears on to-left corner, and the arrow doesn't point  anywere, and should be pointing to the button which activated it. That  "does not comply with the Apple iOS Human Interface Guidelines, as  required...". On the iPhone there's no issue because it takes over the  whole screen. More from the apple rejection message:
    "Specifically,  we noticed your app contained popover elements that didn't  point to  the element that revealed them. To avoid user confusion, a  popover  element's arrow should point to the element that revealed it."
    So, thanks for including the CameraRoll functionality, but it will be useless in the iPad apparently
    Any workaround to make it appear at a specific place when calling myCameraRoll.browseForImage() ?
    Fernando
