[Resolved] operations on dates into Xquery, how to do that ?

hi,
Now that I found how to perform Xqueries :) I want to know how to make operations and calculs on dates. My query look like that:
SELECT XMLQuery('
for $i in ora:view("CATALOGUE")
where $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/DATE_DEBUT <= current-date()
and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/DATE_FIN >= current-date()
and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/DATE_EFFET < (current-date() + P5D)
and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/DATE_EFFET > current-date()
and $i/ROW/ID_CAT != 8
and $i/ROW/ID_CAT != 9
return <liste><CAT>{$i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/Prom/CODE_ART}</CAT>
<PROG>{$i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/Prom/CODE_ART}</PROG></liste>'
RETURNING CONTENT) AS cato FROM DUAL;
unfortunatly (current-date() + P5D) doesn't work nor things like :
current-date() + dayTimeDuration("P5D")
or even like :
add-daytimeduration-date(current-date() + dayTimeDuration("P5D"))
I just want to add some days to the current-date but I don't know how.
If anybody could help I'll be very pleased.
:) thanks

You need to use xdt namespace prefix for dayTimeDuration
xdt:dayTimeDuration("P5D")
Also be aware, the latest xquery spec has moved dayTimeDuration() into xs namespace
prefix, so in the future, you need to use
xs:dayTimeDuration("P5D") instead.
Try
SELECT XMLQuery('
for $i in ora:view("CATALOGUE")
where $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/DATE_DEBUT <= current-date()
and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/DATE_FIN >= current-date()
and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/DATE_EFFET < (current-date() + xdt:dayTimeDuration("P5D"))
and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/DATE_EFFET > current-date()
and $i/ROW/ID_CAT != 8
and $i/ROW/ID_CAT != 9
return <liste><CAT>{$i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/Prom/CODE_ART}</CAT>
<PROG>{$i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/Prom/CODE_ART}</PROG></liste>'
RETURNING CONTENT) AS cato FROM DUAL;

  • How to get SEC data into numbers??

    I am trying to get the SEC data into a .csv file so that I can play with it in a numbers. A few years ago the program thumbval (thumbnail evalu-a-tor) did a pretty good job, but it used web queries, which broke over time, as the pages it referenced changed.
    What I would like to do is simply get the data from the SEC, and CUT AND PASTE it into numbers, but this is difficult, as it is improperly formatted and just gets placed in a single cell. grrrrr
    Any suggestions? Morningstar has 'watered down' financial statements in table form. My broker (BMO investorline) provides .csv files, but they contain only summary data - for instance the quarterly income for BWLD is just a few lines, and contains none of the detail breakdown found in the SEC reports.
    The data exists. It is plastered all over the financial world, surely getting it into a spreadsheet ready format has been done to death, but I am going crazy trying to figure this one out.

    Hello
    As I don't know from where where grabbed your datas, I can't make tests.
    May you copy a block of datas from the web page then paste into a Pages document.
    After that activate the "Show hidden chars" tool.
    You will see which character is used as a separator.
    You may also attach the Pages doc (after zipping it) to a mail and send it to:
    koenig PERIOD yvan AT tele2 PERIOD fr
    I will be able to look at the datas's contents.
    I met several cases.
    - 1 - values separated by TABs and they may be pasted as is.
    - 2 - values separated by Returns. They can't be pasted as is. I posted a script to deal with this case. But often this one is linked to Safari. Entering the Web page with Firefox gave a TAB separated values block
    - 3 - values separated by spaces. In this case, it is difficult to get a correct result.
    I posted a script able to deal with this case because most of the values where numbers so I was able to replace every occurence of (digit + space) by (digit + TAB) and every occurence of (space + digit) by (TAB + digit).

  • Problem inserting data into database (increment problem)

    I have a servlet page that gets various data from a bean and executes multiple SQL statements to store this data. Beacuase i want to insert data into a number of tables that are related with a one to many relationship I am not using the auto increment function in mySQL. Instead i have created a counter bean that increments each time the servlet is involked. I am using this counter to set the primary key ID in the quesiton table that i insert data into and I am alos inserting it into another table as a foreign key which relates a number or records in the outcomes table to one record in the question table. I am havin a few problems getting it to work.
    Firstly the bean counter works but when the tomcat server is shutdown the counter is reset which will cause conflicts in the database no doubt and secondly even though i have not shut my server down i seem to be getting the following error saying there is a duplicate key even though there is no data in the database.

  • Bringing xml data into flash

    I would like to know how to bring xml data into flash.
    Specifically images that someone can click on the thumbnail and
    view the larger image. please can anyone point me to some tutorials
    or sites that i can start to learn how to do this.
    thanks.

    Hi
    First of all, read every thing you can in Flash Help to get
    to know the different methods of loading XML.
    XML can be loaded with 'built-in' components or parsed in
    Actionscript, the Help files will explain both.
    Next - Google for 'XML Image or Picture Gallery' you'll find
    plenty

  • How can i insert data into DB from my page programatically in Oracle ADF..?

    Hai, this is praveen.
    I have created  an EO and VO, when i have inserted data by dragging and dropping from DataControl -->Operations-->Create. I have successfully inserting data. But how can i do it programatically. What are the pre-defined steps that i can use over there to insert data into table programatically. Could u plz help me?

    Hi,
    You have to create an action Listener in the bean for any button.
    Then call an AM method.
    In that you have to do the following
    ViewObject yourVO = getYourVO();
    Row r = yourVo.createRow();
    r.setAttribute("Column1", value1); //the name of column should be as it is in your vo attribute.
    yourVO.insertRow(r);
    this.getDbTransaction().commit();
    Thanks

  • How to create a procedure in oracle to write the data into file

    Hi All,
    I am just wondered on how to create a procedure which will do following tasks:
    1. Concat the field names
    2. Union all the particular fields
    3. Convert the date field into IST
    4. Prepare the statement
    5. write the data into a file
    Basically what I am trying to achieve is to convert one mysql proc to oracle. MySQL Proc is as follows:
    DELIMITER $$
    USE `jioworld`$$
    DROP PROCEDURE IF EXISTS `usersReport`$$
    CREATE DEFINER=`root`@`%` PROCEDURE `usersReport`(IN pathFile VARCHAR(255),IN startDate TIMESTAMP,IN endDate TIMESTAMP )
    BEGIN
    SET @a= CONCAT("(SELECT 'User ID','Account ID','Gender','Birthdate','Account Registered On') UNION ALL (SELECT IFNULL(a.riluid,''),IFNULL(a.rilaccountid,''),IFNULL(a.gender,''),IFNULL(a.birthdate,''),IFNULL(CONVERT_TZ(a.creationDate,'+0:00','+5:30'),'') INTO OUTFILE '",pathFile,"' FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY '' LINES TERMINATED BY '\n' FROM account_ a where a.creationDate>='",startDate,"' and a.creationdate <='",endDate,"')");
    PREPARE stmt FROM @a;
    EXECUTE stmt;
    DEALLOCATE PREPARE stmt ;
    END$$
    DELIMITER ;
    Regards,
    Vishal G

    1. Concat the field names
    Double Pipe (||) is the concatenation operator in Oracle. There is also a function CONCAT for this purpose
    2. Union all the particular fields
    Not sure what do you mean by UNION ALL particular fields? UNION ALL is a set operation applied on two different result sets that have the same projection.
    3. Convert the date field into IST
    SQL> select systimestamp "Default Time"
      2       , systimestamp at time zone 'Asia/Calcutta' "IST Time"
      3    from dual;
    Default Time                                       IST Time
    05-05-15 03:14:52.346099 AM -04:00                 05-05-15 12:44:52.346099 PM ASIA/CALCUTTA
    4. Prepare the statement
    What do you mean by prepare the statement?
    5. write the data into a file
    You can use the API UTL_FILE to write to a file.

  • How to populate data into multi_org view ?

    I do know that a table with ALL is multiorg table and the same table minus ALL is called Multiorg view. I want to know
    1). where exactly we come across the situation in which we use the multi_org view and
    2). how the data is populated into it.
    I do know that the view contains data about a particular ORG. But how ?
    (Assume that we are using the above concept while developing a report and answer accordingly
    I am eagerly searching for the answer.
    your help is appreciated
    Pradeep

    Hi Pradeep,
    Views don't contain any data. Tables do. The multiorg tables (for instance, PO_HEADERS_ALL) contain a column called ORG_ID, which is the id of the operating unit owning each record (a purchase order, in this case). When someone logs in to create a new pucharse order (to continue with the example), he does it selecting a responsibility which have an operating unit (org_id) assigned to it. When the user saves the purchase order, the system will save it automatically with that org_id.
    When the user tries to see purchase orders, he does it through the multiorg view (PO_HEADERS) which is basically a query on PO_HEADERS_ALL restricting by operating unit, i.e:
    PO_HEADERS IS SELECT * FROM PO_HEADERS_ALL WHERE org_id = <Responsibility Org Id>. So, the user will be able to see only the purchase orders assigned tohis operating unit.
    The operating unit gets assigned to a responsibility using profile option 'MO: Operating Unit'.
    This is the idea behind 11i. R12 is using typically a new architecture called MOAC, which is somehow more complicated and allow access to multiple operating units.
    Hope it helps.

  • How to save the form data into adobe db?

    Hi All,
    How to save the form data into adobe db?
    I have designed one xdp file.
    Through processFormSubmission(), I got the submitted form data as Document obj.
    Then I have called the workflow kickoff program.
    code:
    InvocationRequest request = myFactory.createInvocationRequest ("myprocessname", //Specify the long-lived process name
    "invoke", //Specify the operation name
    params, //Specify input values (HashMap obj)
    false); //Create an asynchronous request
    It successfulyy started the workflow, but the submitted form data is not saved anywhere.
    And also, How get the form data from tables?
    Please provide the solution for the above.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Saravanan G

    You need to create a process variable of type IN if you want to be able to pass data to your process. Then the params parameter (HashMap) contains a list of all the IN variables with their content that you want to pass to your process. They key is the name of the variable and the value the content. That way you should get it in your process.
    Now LiveCycle will create a column in the database for every process variable, so the content will be saved in the database just by creating that process variable.

  • How to populate data into view object

    Hi all,
    I am quite new with ViewObject.
    I have one data table which is binding with view object.
    I want to populate data into view object from my managed bean.
    how can i achieve this kind of scenario?
    actually i try to get view object as in the following. but i get only null.
    ViewObject viewobject = DCIteratorBinding.getViewObject();
    With Regards,
    Wai Phyo

    Hi,
    You could use the following code snippet to get handle to view object from the iterator.
    FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    BindingContainer bindings =
    (BindingContainer)fc.getApplication().evaluateExpressionGet(fc,
    "#{bindings}",
    BindingContainer.class);
    DCBindingContainer bc = (DCBindingContainer)bindings;
    DCIteratorBinding iterator =
    bc.findIteratorBinding("<ITERATOR_ID>");
    ViewObject viewObject = iterator.getViewObject();
         // Perform operations on the view objectThanks,

  • OIM: How to get the last operation and data from a child form action

    Dear OIM guru,
    I have a regular Process form, a child form and a process definition. When there is an insert/delete into child form a trigger is raised and the process task gets called. The process task does whatever it needs to do on the target system. This is all fine. However, after the task completes, lets say successfully, I want to send out an email to the user saying, for example, group 1 has been added to you or just got deleted.
    I am not able to figure out how to get that last operation and child form data. I am sure you came across this and if so please let me know how to do this.
    Thanks

    So, Can I add a similar process task with the same exact condition one more time? I thought I couldn't use the same condition again. For example, when a group is deleted can I use the process data->child data->group Id with old value check box checked on another process task?
