Response Message Mapping payload is empty

Hi,
I have synchronous interface using webservice call from ECC . I get the response with empty payload. I checked in PI 7.4, SXMB_MONI step in the Response Message Mapping is showing empty payload. Any inputs is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Misha.

Hi ,
As above said first have a word with your receiver system counterpart .Check with them on whether they received request payload from PI ? and whether they have sent any response to PI? .
You will get clarity on the issue.More over if you want to check the sync scenario you can do so by using soap ui mock service.

  • SOAP fault - How to log error in response message map

    Hi,
    I have a scenario ABAP Proxy <-> XI <-> SOAP.
    Occassionally there is an issue with communication to the destination system and an HTTP 500 Error is returned. I assume this is due to a system related error and it is returned as a SOAP Fault as opposed to a SOAP response with payload.
    How do I get this "HTTP-500" error into my message map to return to the calling system ?
    I have looked at Fault Messages but need to know if these are relevant for the SOAP Adapter and how they can be utilised ?
    Thanks for any help.
    Kind regards
    Colin.

    SOAP fault message not in correcto format to allow an application error to be caught.

  • Problem in 1toN message mapping,payload not populated but file created

    I am doing 1:N multimapping From Proxy  to File scenario .Proxy send three types of data all having same stucture but depending on the value of First field we split the whole stucture in 3 parts on target side and generating three files on taget side.During testing values get Passed from the SXMB_MONI(processed) and we get whole payload data upto
    "Message Branch Acording to Reciever List" .But when i check payload data in 'Request Message Mapping" we donot get any data in Payload.Taget File is generated but when we try to oen the file I get message " Unable to display the File".
    can any expert help me resolve this problem.

    I need to generate 3 files each having similar structures depending upon the first field 'listcode' values whose values are  'N0','MA','MY' coming in a proxy structure.The source structure is as follows::
    MT_Source
    >Detailrecord..0..unbounded
    >listcode..0.1...xsd:string
    >itemcode...0.1...xsd:string
    >description1...0.1..xsd:string
    >description2...0.1..xsd:string
    The target stuctures are:
    MT_Target_N0
    >Detailrecord..0..unbounded
    >listcode..0.1...xsd:string
    >itemcode...0.1...xsd:string
    >description1...0.1..xsd:string

  • Message-Mapping Problem with empty queue while testing

    Hello,
    I want to develope an mapping to an BMEcat-structure. This mapping should be an filter.
    My problem is, that everytime I want to check, if my mapping works correct, the queues for the proccessing steps keeps empty.
    I filled a test case with all data I needed for the step I want to test (not the whole mapping is ready, but for this step, it is). Now I go to my mapping step an check the queue for the parameters and the queue comes up and displays the correct values. In next step I want to display the queue of an "equalsS"-Step, but this queue keeps empty as all following queues too. Sometimes there is coming up an empty "Processing log"-window.
    The problem only comes up, if the target-message is a BMEcat-Structure.
    Have you any solution for this behaviour? Or do you need more informations?

    Hello,
    thank you for your tip, but the main problem is still existing. As you can see in the next screenshots, I build in your code and I'm sure it normally works fine. Also I filled the "have to"-Fields in the strukture, so that the check-function (F7) delivers an all right.
    But still I get no queue results.

  • Message mapping  response error

    Hi..All,
    i am doing RFC-SOAP scenario, in request message mapping i am giving the values at sender side executed, i am getting the fields at target side, in resonse message mapping giving the all fields at sender side,i executed , but in target side not getting any fields, pls suggest me.
    ****for helpful answers i will give points***********
    thanks in advance,
    Pasi

    Hi
    when you do the RFC to SOAP scenario then you have to craete the two message mapping
    one mapping will be b/w both the request messages
    and other mapping will be b/w the response messages.
    in the interface mapping you select the request message mapping in the request tab and response message mapping in the response tab.
    both the message interfaces outbound as well as inbound interface of the synchronous type.
    if u still face the problem please reply me back
    Thanks

  • Request Message field to Response Message

    Hi Everyone,
    I have a synchcronous scenario, where I have a special requirement that I want to  append a Request Message Field in Response Message Structure while sending response to Sender.
    Could someone suggest me probable solution, I have come up with using Value mapping table, but I am restricted to use a proxy for dynamic updates to the table??
    Regards,
    Nipun

    Hello,
    I have a synchcronous scenario, where I have a special requirement that I want to append a Request Message Field in Response Message Structure while sending response to Sender.
    Perhaps the easiest would to to try to ask the endpoint to modify the response such that it contains the request. Otherwise, you can use a logic such as saving into a table and then retrieve the values for the response message mapping.
    Hope this helps,
    Mark

  • Synchronous Receiver JDBC adapter--response message empty

  • Handling/Mapping a SOAP response message back to the RFC request Message

    Hi
    I was wondering if you could kindly offer some advice on how to handle the SOAP response back to an RFC in a RFC>SOAP>RFC.Response scenario. When executing an RFC function module that triggers a message to XI, the outbound message seems to process successfully, however, there is an error in the response message. I am not sure how to map the response back to the function module response message because it looks like the response payload is empty. It is also strange that the interface seems to run in synchronous mode despite being configured as an asynchronous interface. If it ran in asynchronous mode, there would not be a problem because we actually do not need a response back. The interface also runs perfectly when executing it from the Runtime Workbench, and it also runs in asynchronous mode as it should.
    I would really appreciate any suggestions on how to solve this problem.
    Thank you,
    Brendon

    Hi Reyaz,
    This is actually an RFC-->SOAP scenario where the message structure of the source and target systems are different. We don't actually need a reponse back from the SOAP system. I was wondering if you perhaps know how we can cancel the Response response back to the requestor or at leaset map the SOAP response back?
    The interface runs perfectly in asynchronous mode when executing it from the Runtime Workbench in the test section, but it runs in synchronous mode for some reason when executing the RFC function call in SAP.
    Thank you,
    Brendon

  • Mulit Mapping - Payload Node Missing in Response in SXMB_MONI

    Hello all,
          I am using the new extended Inteface Determination to Split in a 1:N IDOC to Files scenario
          In SXMB_MONI I don't see the Payload node under Response. And also there are no child messages created where it shows the messages are split.
          Also its writes blank records to all files.
    Any kind of help would be appreciated.

    Sujan

    Hi,
    Just make sure that you have done the follwwing,
    1.In your message mapping, make sure that the destination message has an occurence of N ( so that for every customer an output is generated ).
    2.In you interface mapping also, make sure that u have the occurence as N for your Destination Message Interface.
    For the theorotical info on 1:N split, I would suggest that you go through these links,

  • Testing XML Payload of Message Mapping in RWB

    Hi All,
    Is there any way where we can test the XML payload of Message Mapping bypassing the usual testing of messages thorugh IE .
    What i mean here is passing tge XML payload of Message Mapping directlyy to Adapter Engine...
    Regards
    Vinay P.

    Hi Vinay
    As said above
    You can use Testing the Runtime feature to do this task
    RWB -> Component Monitoring -> Integration engine Test tab
    You can also use this feature for Adapter engine and J2SE adapter - File & JDBC

  • How to send response message from Java mapping class? Please help!

    Hi Experts,
      I have a sync scenario
              -Req-->  -
    >
    SOAP           XI       RFC
              <Res--     <-----
      The Req message contains:
      <Order>
           <Orderid>100</Orderid>
           <Desc>Extrenal Order</Desc>
           <Qty>2500</Qty>
      </Order>
      Response message is:
      <Log>
         <LogTxt>Qty value cannot be more than 3 chars</LogTxt>
      </Log>
      In the XI I have to validate the input request message using a schema. For this I am writing a java mapping program using aii_map_api.jar.
    My requirement is that If the input message schema validation fails then I want to send a response message back to sender.
      How can I send a response message back to the sender in java mapping program?
    Kindly help with sample code example.
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi,
    First, I think PI 7.1 has this functionality and perhaps it comes in a SP for PI 7.0 and XI 3.0.  So first have a look at that before creating custom development.
    Second, if you use the java mapping, you will only have access to a request or response message.  I would advise using a custom java module in the module processor and insert this message in the sender communication channel.  This will allow you to validate request and send a response.

  • Alert from Message Mapping Response

    Hi All,
    I am working on a scenario wherein I am using BAPI Request & Response Messages in my mapping. I am receiving a no. from Bapi Response if the request i successful. Fauver,
    Just to narrow down the problem first remove the first udf and only use the 2nd user defined function. Also in the 2nd udf you have to change this line:
    try{
    // 1. Determine a channel.
    Channel channel = LookupService.getChannel(Sender, "R_RFC_ERP");
    In the above line instead of Sender you use the business service or business system where R_RFC_ERP RFC communication channel is created in Integration Directory. So you are hardcoding it first.
    Once you have done this changes do save and test it once again. If this works then you can change back to original and your first udf needs to be checked.

    Hi Mike,
    What I suspect is, you get a null pointer exception because the XML tag name which you are trying to retrieve, has a namespace. Could you please instead try to use:
    getElementsByTagNameNS(java.lang.String namespaceURI, java.lang.String localName)
              Returns a NodeList of all the Elements with a given local name and namespace URI in document order.
    Let us know if it works.

  • Attachments deleted during message mapping in PI 7.1

    We have upgraded our SAP XI 3.0 SP 22 system to SAP PI 7.1 SP06. In XI 3.0 we created some message mappings that mapped an XML payload with attachments to another message type. The attachments would still exist after the mapping step. In SAP PI 7.1 we now see that attachements are deleted from the message. We cannot see why this is happening. We have tried to set the 3 new option in the operation mappings without any results. The attachements are still being deleted.
    Active Options in operation mappings:
        Use SAPXMLToolkit = true
        Do Not Resolve XOP includes = false
        Read Attachements = false
    In the SXMB_MONI we can see that the attachements are deleted after the Request Message Mapping step. It is a simple proxy-to-proxy scenario with interface and message mapping.

    Hi Michal,
    Already tried this option too. However this option would only transfer the attachments to
    the mapping runtime in JAVA. We only map the actual payload in a graphical message
    mapping, so for our purpose, the other attachments could stay untouched and remain
    in the abap part for further pipeline processing.
    You can find the result of the Read attachment option during runtime here:
