Retaining page reference in OAF in case of navigation to multiple pages.

Hello All,
We need some help in handling the below scenario:-
Scenario:
We have a screen which has a Headers and lines section.
Lines section is based on advanced table.
We are performing an operation 'Approve' on a line which is in Page2 (Displaying 10 lines per page).
Before calling 'Approve' procedure in AM some validations are performed.
Case1: Validations Passed. ‘Approve' procedure in AM called.
Case2: Validations failed. A 'Warning' window will be shown with two buttons 'Proceed' and 'Cancel'.
If user clicks 'Proceed' then 'Approve' procedure will be called as usual.
I was able to Retain the current page (Page2) in Case1.
But in Case2, Page1 is getting displayed (Reference to current page i.e. page2 is Lost).
After 'Approve' operation we are 'Re-initializing' the lines section so that the changes will be reflected.
Due to this 'Re-initializing' page reference is lost.
I’m setting the ‘Retain AM’ property to ‘true’ in both the ‘Lines’ and ‘Warning’ pages.
Any inputs on handling this case will be really helpful.

Either you do as Pratap suggested (to have both pages in same AM), or you make the second page AM a child of the first one. Do let me know if you face further issues.

Forget it. The answer is that the multiple page per page setup comes up in the printing menu. (When you do command-P)

Click on the Show Details button in the Print dialog.
Whenever options seem to disappear, have a look around and explore what is available. Particular when they have what appears to be relevent labels.

How do I use Page Grouping to make my form/subforms flow across multiple pages?

I have every text box set to flow, but one page is not flowing into the next. For one thing, it stops entirely. For another, the content is interfering with the Master Page. I read than Page Grouping can alleviate this issue, but I have no clue how to enact it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

On page 49,IOS5 it shows an icon for opening multiple pages. I can 't find it.

Safari on iOS 5 uses tabbed browsing, not thumbnail/page browsing as on previous iOS versions. Tap the '+' on the right-hand end of the tab bar to open a new tab - you can then use the 'x' on the left-end of each tab to close them.
I assume that you are looking at an old version of the manual and not the iOS 5 version - you can download a copy of the iOS 5 version from here http://support.apple.com/manuals/ipad

Avoiding server duplication of the same picture used in multiple pages

I've scanned hundreds of family slides and would like to share them on iWeb grouped by person (face). I've identified family members with Faces and created Smart Albums for each face grouping. I'm concerned I will have lot of redundancy of the same picture getting published each time when that picture includes two or more people for whom I have a face album/page.
This is an area where iWeb could be a huge time saver if each time you chose to publish a page, it checked whether the included pictures had already been published to the server (on different pages), and then instead of pushing those pictures to the server again (duplicating them), it made links (references) to the pictures already on the sever. Any chance iWeb does this?
It's the same concept as Playlists in iTunes; and Events, Albums, and Faces (on the corkboard) in iPhoto--songs/pictures are not duplicated for each list or group, they're just referenced.
I guess I'm asking if there's a way to avoid duplicating pictures on the server so that pages reference the same picture when it appears in multiple pages. I suppose I could do this manually, but that seems daunting. If iWeb doesn't do this today, it'd certainly be a handy feature for a future release.

Otherwise, create some external pages where you can use the same image over and over again and embed it in the iWeb page.

Dynamic page references within document

I am working on a small binder style book that has 8 sections. The project is destined to be updated frequently and the client only wants to reprint the appropriate sections. So the question is, within the body text are numerous page references that will need to be updated as the page count potentially changes. I would like to use a section page numbering format (eg. 1-1, 1-2,...2-1, 2-2,...etc) to avoid conflicts with the TOC. Is there a way to tag the page references (see page 3-12 for more info) so that they will update themselves automatically, rather than having to find and replace them each time. I'm not even sure what this feature would be called.

Tabbing through a form with multiple pages!!!!! FIX!!

Hi everyone, I have a fix for this tricky issue of tabbing through a form that has multiple pages.
1. You'll need to go to the "master page" and add as many pages as you have "body pages".
2. Click the Object Veiw Tab and set the Occurence of the page to Max 1 and click the box with the instruction Include In Page Numbering.
3. Do this for each page of the form that you have.
4. The tabbing now should move from the 1st to 2nd to however many pages you have Master and Body Pages for.

With out adding another master page but just keeping the one and making sure that it's occurance is set to a minimum of one and including master page in the numbering it will work as long as the order of fields in the hierarchy tab matches the order in the position of the fields.
I have a subForm that has a row of fields starting with a button then several text fields. I couldn't tab to the next page because the button was at the bottom of the hierarchy and it wasn't until I moved it to the top that I could finally tab to the next field on the next page. I also discovered that with a one page dynamic interactive form that has some expand able text fields in it and when the field expands so that any fields are pushed to a new second page tabbing seems to not work. In other words when I tab out of that field that is suppose to expand and a new page is added to the form the tabbing quits and in order for it to resume I have to click in a field and from then on it work even if it gets to where a third page and so forth is added. It is just when a one page (in my case) form turns into multiple pages for the first time.

Fillable form with multiple pages

I have a fillable form with multiple pages. However, when I save it and open it, it tabs to the end of the first page and will go back up to the top of the first page again. It won't tab to the second page. Instead, the user will have to click there cursor into the first field of the second page, tab through that, and repeat this process from page to page. If the person doesn't know there are multiple pages, they may believe they have finished the form once they get to the bottom of the first page, hit tab, and it takes them back up to the first field on the first page again. How can I make it go from the last field on the first page, tab, and first field on the second page?

How do you get rid of extra white space when you are printing multiple pages to one sheet of paper? When printing multiple pages to one sheet of paper Acrobat won't let you select the "zoom" for printing.

How do I eliminate multiple pages when compiling as PDF?

I'm new at this, working with a one page .ifd. I've added several "No print" fields to be used for data mapping
to my database. Then use Presentment Targets and compile as .pdf. When I open the form in Acrobat Pro 8
the doc repeats my one page 7 to 10 times, converting it to a multiple page document. How do I correct this?
This a form that is being prepared for e-signatures with mapped data in an core data processing system.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've attached the pdf and the ifd.
This should be only a one page Power of Attorney form.
The "No Print" fields will be used to do Optical Mapping within out core
DP System.
The form will be e-signed using signature pads and then saved to optical.

Multiple page PDF in Illustrator CS5

I have two pages in Illustrator and I want to create a 2 page PDF file. In CS3 there was a multiple page PDF selection I could make in the save dialogue box of my Illustrator file. That feature is not there in Illustrator CS5. Is it possible to do this??

Not really...just think of it as Page=Artboard. So,
I. If you're creating a new file to save as a multi-page PDF, in the new file dialogue choose the number of Artboards to equal the number of pages. If unsure at the outset, just choose a sufficient number... you can always add or delete later. Give the Artboard/s the size of the page you want... eg A4, A5, or custom, etc., etc. Create the matter of each page on that number artboard.
II. If you're working with an existing file, then you already have the pages created on your single artboard. So:
1. Just resize the artboard to the output size
2. Move all matter of page one to that
3 Create new artboards (2, 3, 4, etc) and just move all mater corresponding to the already created pages 2, 3, 4, etc. to the respective artboards...

Multiple page PDF source in Bridge CS5

I am using Bridge CS5 on Windows to create multiple page PDFs from source PDF and PSD files. I can create multipage PDFs from a number of single-page source files, but when a source PDF has multiple pages, only the first page of the source PDF appears in the final PDF. Bridge recognizes that the source files are multipage in the preview window (the multipage PDF appears as a single page in the preview window, which can be paged through), but it silently omits the extra pages in the final product. How do I get all the pages to show up in the final PDF?

I have seen the answer for this in the past 8? months, but can't remember the exact details on how to get around it. If my memory serves me correctly Bridge sees the mullti page PDF as one document which causes the problems you encountered.

Split TIF document with multiple pages

Hi,
Iu2019m using function module 'SCMS_HTTP_GET' to retrieve TIF document from Filenet. The TIF document returned has multiple pages. Iu2019m able to retrieve the document with no issue. What I need to do is split the TIF document for each page.
Is there a way in ABAP to split the TIF on each page break?
The reason I need to split is later in program I call FM SSFC_BASE64_ENCODE passing data to Adobe form that uses IMAGE FIELD object to display TIF. I have no issue displaying TIF with 1 page on adobe form. But if there are multiple pages only the first page is displayed in the Adobe PDF. I was thinking if I could split the TIF that contains multiple page into individual TIF I would then pass in table to PDF form to display all pages of the TIF.
