Retracting acitvity input using CCA retractor

Question

We are using the upr_cost_plan_exec retractor FM to retract hours to R/3. The parameter group setting are as follows:
Retr R/3 Comp - 9 (PS)
Retractor control - 2 (Activity input)
In the sender structure I have mapped the hours to 0QUANTITY in upb_snd_cops.
The function executes without error in BPS, but we are not able to see the data in R/3.
Has anyone successfully retracted a quantity using this retractor FM? What could be going wrong?
Is there an error in the FM causing this?
In the LUPREF02 include of the FM I found the following commented out, is this the reason why quantity is not being retracted.
quantity not used in primary costs
assign component gf_quantity of structure <ls_kyfs> to <l_chavl>.
g_quant = <l_chavl>.
Is there an OSS note out for version 31B? I found an OSS # 889634 but for higher versions.

Hi,
In the program LUPREF01, the BAPI BAPI_COSTACTPLN_CHECKPRIMCOST fm is being called. break before going into this FM and get the structure of data being passed. Simulate/Test the same FM in R3 with the same structure of the data.
Pls. check the object number (for the WBS elements), it has a CONV exit. Test/check with different representation of the object number, that should guide you, what's wrong in BPS side.
