Retrieving ServerHost and ServerPort in Server with Web Dispatcher

Hi,
I am using IWDRequest to get server host and port in my Web Dynpro DC.
This is the code which I am using for it.
IWDRequest req = WDProtocolAdapter.getProtocolAdapter().getRequestObject();
String l_str_host = req.getServerName();
int l_int_port = req.getServerPort();
In our NW landscape, some servers have Web Dispatcher for load balancing purpose. Hence in this case, what would I get in l_str_host, l_int_port ?
I need them to prepare KM URL to a specific location.

No, I am not running this solution at a corporate level; I'm just using this one for home use by maybe a dozen people. At any rate, I looked around for several and this one seemed to work best for me. Here's some others I checked into. I did use PFPFileNavigator before I found AjaXplorer. I hope this gives you some ideas. I spent about a week Googling, installing, and testing before settling on AjaXplorer. I tried PHPFileNavigator (but didn't have LDAP support, other than that I liked it), Rumpus (didn't like this as it is commercial, and, uses it's own built-in web server), Relay (not enough features), and Mollify (again, no LDAP support).

Infopath 2007 and SharePoint 2007 error with Web Service Submit and Recieve

I have an InfoPath form with code. The code submits the form to SharePoint and to SQL DB through Web Service. The form has some workflow. When form is in a "New" state if submits to SharePoint and Database through custom web service. Works fine
from both Client and SharePoint browser form. The database ID is returned to the form and then stored in a field. In second stage of workflow additional fields are shown for Supervisor to fill out. I then have an "update" web service to update the
database. I set all the field values in the Web service then execute both the update Web Service and the SharePoint submit. I get an error (both if running from desktop or SharePoint) Error is
"The string '' is not a valid AllXsd value"
I know sometimes this happens with dates. But I've got all the dates set. The funny thing is in the first submit there are 2 dates in the second submit there is one date. All are set the same and on the first submit no problem submits correct dates to SQL
database through web Service. Second submit has 2 Boolean fields that I also default to a value of false. I've debugged and looked at all the values and everything has a value. I use delete NIL to make sure value in Web Service is set. I can save the data
in the form but not submit it because I get the web service error. If I save the data in form and download it and copy all the values in the XML to my Web Service and invoke the web service works fine. So there is no error in the web service. The first
submit submits both dates and some integer values. The only difference in second is the Boolean value but it is set to default of false for all checkboxes. I'm going out of mind trying to see what could be wrong. Also difference with second
is it sends in the ID of the record that was set in form by result of first submit query sending back the DB value. That value is an integer but I also set correctly.

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you ran report with xml type datasource.
Please set the xml datasource credential to Use Windows Authentication (integrated security). More information, please refer to the link:

Non-central adapter engine setup with web dispatcher

Our PI setup is working perfectly in our private zone, now the requirement is to expose our PI to public zone to do our B2B transactions. We have proposed a solution but I need your expert suggestion on this. Solution proposed

Non-central AAE will be in semi private DMZ. It will send/receive all B2B messages from/to semi public DMZ via Application gateway for inbound messages and proxy for outbound messages.
Then Non-central AAE will work with the PI central instance running in Private DMZ to receive and send messages.
My Questions:
1) Do we need a SAP web dispatcher to work in between (Application gateway, Proxy) and (Non-central AAE)   ?
    My understanding: SAP web dispatcher balances the load which will enhance the performance but it is not mandatory. Non-central AAE can work independently with Application gateway and Proxy to receive and send messages.
2) What is the configuration we need at non-central AAE to exchange messages with the application gateway and proxy?

The collaboration profile agreement service (CPA service) does not read the CPA cache from the Integration Directory.
You define the user that is to send the messages to the Integration Server in a service parameter. When the Integration Server receives the message with this user, it checks the user using the access control list. This check is not performed for the technical user XIAFUSER.

Problem with Web Dispatcher with Double Stack

We have the latest version of Web Dispatcher - 7.0 with latest patch.
I'm having a problem where I am trying to use the web dispatcher for load balancing in a double stack (ABAP/JAVA) system. The person who did the install pointed the installation to the wrong server (which I assume can be easily changed in the profile). However, on the page where it indicates to activate the SICF services he left the box unchecked (but I checked that necessary ones were activated per note 552286). I now get these kind of errors when pointing to the http message server on a different system (he installed it assuming it was just for portal (java):

I've never seen this error but some thing seems strange to me :
You use the same port (8101) for the listening port of the web dispatcher and the listening port of the message server of you back office system.
Is it really the case ?
Is PW4 the SID of you web disptcher ?
Is SAPSYSTEM = 01 the sysnr of your web dispatcher ?
I hope that the info of the web disptcher is not mixed up with the back office info ?

can anybody specify the behavior of Web Dispatcher regarding the X-Forwarded-For HTTP header?
When a client accesses SAP EP via proxy1, proxy2 and Web Dispatcher in
this order, is it guaranteed that the format of the X-Forwarded-For
HTTP header that I can refer at SAP EP becomes the following forms?
X-Forwarded-For: client, proxy1, proxy2
In other words, is it guaranteed by Web Dispatcher that the rightmost
IP address, proxy2 in this example, is the closest downstream client?

This is to group the returned results in groups that are no larger than the MaxPageSize value. To summarize, MaxPageSize controls the number of objects that are returned in a single search result.

Retrieving Chinese Characters from SQL Server with JDBC

Im having problems correctly recieving Simplified Chinese from the database (SQL Server 2000).
Driver: sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver
It seems that I cannot force the Results Set's getString(String s) method to the correct character encoding UTF-16. Java claims to have 16-bit characters but the native windows encoding cp1242 (somehting like that) seems to not be working for me.
I can read it in from a unicode text file using the InputStreamReader object, and it will display correctly.
All I ask is this: Has anyone successfully retrieved information from a database and displayed it correctly in a Swing application?

I was suspecting there was a problem with the driver. Microsoft's Driver worked perfectly for SQL 2000, but my target database is SQL 7 and the driver is not reverse compatible.
I am looking for a Free liscenced JDBC driver that will work with SQL 7 (other than the sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver)
Nothing fancy needs to be supported, just scrollable result sets, and basic insert, update, select, exec commands.

Difference between compiling locally and on the server with FDS

Hi,
I am doing soming very basic testing with remote Java objects
and I am finding that if I create a FDS project and compile on the
server the code runs, if I create a FDS project and compile locally
it gives me the following error :

X Pro and Flash Player Error with web-based PDF readbook

Everytime I try to view a web-based PDF book (with multiple PDF files) I get an error/alert that reads:
"To View the Flash technology content in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat."
I am currently using:
IE Explorer 9.0.8112.16421
Adobe Reader X 10.1.7
Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10.1.4
Shockwave 12.0.2 Development
I have all of the appropriate settings enabled/disabled in the browser. Before I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro the files opened perfectly in IE9. I believe, but am unsure, that I was just using Reader X at that point.
Of note...the PDF books in question still open perfectly if I DOWNLOAD the file and open it from the desktop. The issue is when I try to view it in the browser(a setting enabled in the preferences). This is an issue because I don't have the time or space to download these files and need to view them in the browser for efficiency.

You would usually get this message if you don't have the Flash Player plugin installed. However I do not quite understand why you get that message when viewing a PDF in the browser, but not when viewing it from your local disk.

Hello, i use a LAN and access the server with its url, when i have to relogin using a different userid, am not able to do so. the session does not end even if i reopen the browser.

we have a server and all of use the server's url to work on it. when i log out from the application, the session with the server doesnt end.

Torrent server with web gui

i am currently using deluge on my workstation for torrents, i keep leaving it on to finish downloads, now this seems crazy when i already have a server on 24/7.
Does anyone know of a torrent client for my server (has to be x-less) that has a webgui i can access on my workstation. For instance i know rtorrent and deluge have a webgui, but they need x installed which i really don't wan to do.
A solution would be nice not only could i get my download finished, i can do my bit when it comes to seeding more sucessfully.

have any of you guys gotten torrentflux-b4rt to work with transmission 1.00? some trackers require me to use that specific version, but torrentflux-b4rt doesn't work with it. heres what i found

     My J2EE server is running different machine and my Netweaver is another machine.
If both server and IDE in same machine it's work fine. But both are in different machine,
i have some problems.
     If i try like this server always go and check his own path, not client machine
so it will error like "given source not found". So if i get client machine's path
then i will store easily into SQL Server 2000.
     Whenever i run, it should check the client machine path instead of server path.

Is p03 smtp the correct and current iCloud server with osx 10.9.2 ? having problems and seems very slow

I have only seen it inrelation to a pc....I dont have outlook or a pc and this is the only connection my mac found for icloud that finally did work, if slow....but is it right? all my mail is landing in my archive folder . I want install the 9i database to a Sun Unix system. But that system already has the internet directory and 9i application server with the infrastructure. What are those steps I should follow to install the database?
Where can I find any documentation about the coexistance of internet directory, 9i AS and 9i database?
