Retriving partner profiles after upgradation

Hi All,
We are upgrading our system from 4.7 to ECC 6.0. so while upgradation, will the partner profiles of the IDOCS be forwarded to the new version?
If no, how do we get them in the new system. If yes, where they are stored.
I mean, what are the tables they are stored.
I found out that, they wont be carried fwd to the new version. we need to configure them manually. But when they are in thousands it is difficult task right.
Is there any perfect procedure for this task.
Thankyou in advance,
Annapurna.

HI,
My question is , will all the settings done in the partner profiles be retained after upgradation. if yes how? if no, any other way to retain them. because we have idocs in thousands in our project. so this is a big concern.can anyone help me in this regard.

  • CRM WebUI Layout Profile after upgrade.

    Hi All,
We have upgraded CRM system from 6.0 to EHP1. In the earlier system, there was a custom layout profile. Somehow that is not working after the system upgrade. On Web ui in personalize option, when i select that profile, i can see only the text on UI, all graphics are not visible, and for buttons cross image comes.
I opened the BSP application "THTMLB_STYLES" in the upgraded system and found that after system upgrade, few files have been added to standard layout profile i.e. default. These CSS files are not there in the customized layout profile after upgrade.
Now my question is "Is there any report program kind of thing that can synchronize the standard and customized layout profile?" like we have report for runtime repositories comparisons.
If not, then should i create another layout profile by copying the default and make changes to that or is there any way to edit the current custom layout profile.
    Thanks,
    Raman

    Hi Raman,
    How are you?
Did you find any solution for this problem?
We are also facing same problem after upgrade. So far, we have found only one solution i.e. create a new skin in EHP1 and do the required changes.
    Thanks,

  • How do I keep my profiles from being wiped and substituted by default profile after upgrade

Linux, openSuse 13.1. After setting up 9 profiles that I need to do my work, an upgrade wiped each custom profile and filled it with the firefox default, how do I stop this behavior.

These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox

FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your
Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more.
In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild
your saved files individually into installable .xpi files.
It will also make backup of files that you choose.

I'm using an iphone 4S with IOS 6. Before the upgrade I was able to share thigns from my news feed on facebook and change pictures (profile, cover) from my phone. After upgrading I cannot share or change pictures or articles. I've tried resetting my phone, deleting and re-installing fb app, but no success. Would appreciate any help, suggestions...Cheers

I've never been able to share FaceBook posts nor seen the option using the iOS FaceBook app regardless the FaceBook app and iOS version. I can Like and I can Comment, and if I select a link or video to view under iOS 6, I can use the Share option for the link or video, but not for a post.

  • After upgrade to  lightroom 4.3, my canon 7D is not showing up in lens profile correction

I think this happened after upgrading to lightroom 4.2, but I am not sure as I haven't used Lens profile correction in some time.
When I enable the "Enable profile corrections" checkbox in "lens corrections" The Make and model of the lens is recognized, but the profile field has only 2 optoins, "canon EOS 1D MK III" and "Adobe". It does not have any other options including the EOS 7D that I use. Tried uninstalling and installing again, that didn't help.
I found in the forum that for Win 7, lens profile is supposed to be stored in "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0", in my case the LensProfiles directory does not exist. There is a CameraProfiles directory(C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles).
    How do I solve this?

There is nothing wrong with your lens profiles.
The issue is that you are adjusting a JPG not a raw file.  When adjusting raw files the camera model is not listed with the profile because it doesn’t matter and all of them say Adobe as their source for Canon cameras at least, but when adjusting JPGs the camera may have done certain adjustments internally so it does matter and is why you see the wrong lens-distortion occurring when choosing the 5D Mark III profile with your 7D JPGs.
For the record, I have profiles in both the locations mentioned: under Program Files\...\CameraRaw and under ProgramData\...\Lightroom 4.x.  This makes sense because I have both Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom installed.  The ones under Lightroom are all dated 12/2012 while the ones under Camera Raw are mostly dated 2/2012 with some from 11/2012 and other dates.  The profiles are probably the same, but the Camera Raw ones retain the date of the original profile creation whereas the Lightroom ones all get updated to the same date.  Lens profiles can also be installed with the DNG Converter, although I'm not sure which of the two locations those install to.

  • Query on new Authorization Objects after Upgrade&SAP_NEW profile

    Dear Experts,
We have upgraded our system from 4.5 to 7.0 version,  i  was checking what are the new authorization Objects  introduced after upgrade comparing older system ojects.  I got few objects which are new in upgraded system,
But when i check SAP_NEW profile,   and in the latest profile SAP_NEW_7000 profile i can not see all those new Ojects which are new.
generally SAP_NEW should contain all new objects which come after upgrade?  i can see those in SAP_ALL  but not in SAP_NEW
is there any issue  in system?  how should I know and where should i check what are the new Objects come in upgrade,
    Please advise.
    Thanks#Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi Jurjen Heeck ,
    see my previous post
    I did 'nt get this.
    SAP_NEW is your friend here
does the SAP_NEW profile contains all the new authorization Objects.

  • Original user profile destroyed after upgrade to version 3.6.13

After upgrade to 3.6.13 en-US from ?? (maybe ?3.4.???, but I do not remember well; I really did not expect problems) all the history and bookmarks were lost.
I searched for them in Profiles directory, but there was only a new profile with "new template" data.
I installed the new version like an "admin" user (to have it available for all users "for sure").
The installation seemed to detect previous version of Firefox as it detected its istallation directory (and it had not offered the possibility to change the installation directory) and it detected that many extensions are do not have compatible versions.
Before the installation I had beed experiencing crashes when running Firefox like me (user "marek"; power-user) before. It was possible to workaround it by running Firefox as "admin" user (ugly and unsafe, I know) which I was doing for more than a year. Firefox worked than quite good, it installed its updates, etc.
Of course, I checked the admin user profile, it was overwritten by a "new" one.
Moreover, I had been cleaning the Temporary Internet Files and History of IE (IE7; done from IE); but I did not expect it could be related.

It looks like you have the latest version of Firefox. <br />
Maybe that message referring to Plugins? <br />
You do have at least 3 Plugins that are old, Java is very old.
See this page for more information. <br />

  • Partner Profiles deleted after TDMS copyback

Recently we had a copyback activity using TDMS 4.0 for ECC system. After the copyback, we noticed that partner profiles has been deleted. One of our pre-steps is to delete the largest tables then delete the client(SCC5) and recreate a shell client. Would like to ask if how we could prevent the deletion of partner profiles during copyback? Or atleast, is there a way we could automate the configuration and return to previous state before the copyback this partner profiles? We're not sure other configurations being deleted during copyback.
Hope for your reply. Thanks in advance...

    Hi Philip,
There are many based on your  landscape few examples below which i generally use
As Mentioned By Anitha , you can very much do this using TDMS itself , exclude these tables from copying.

  • ASA5510 VPN not working after upgrade from 8.2 to 8.3

    Hi,
I have recently upgraded a customer ASA5510 to version 8.3.
After upgrade web access etc is working fine however VPN is down.
The config looks very different after the upgrade plus what looks to be duplicate entries.
I suspect its an access list issue but I'm not sure.

    Hi,
    Many thanks for your reply.
Finally got access to implement your suggestions.
Initially none of the VPN's were up.
After making the change the two VPN's came up.
However only data via the first VPN is possible.
Accessing resources on the 10.1.2.0 network is still not possible.
    Attached is the latest config, any input is greatly appreciated;

  • Logical system and partner profile configuration

    Hi,
I have a SQL server which is defined as a Business system in my landscape. It is sending records to ECC 6.0 which makes it a JDBC to IDOC scenario (inbound IDocs)
First question is do I have to mention a logical system name for the SQL server Business system too ?
Second question is do I create a Logical system in the ECC system (BD54/SALE) for the SQL system or would it be for the client of the ECC system itslef?
Third question is do I maintain partner profile configurations in WE20 for the SQL business system or for the ECC business system?
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers,
    S

    Hi Sam,
    > First question is do I have to mention a logical system name for the SQL server Business system too ?
Yes, In SLD You have to specify logical system name of the SQL server business system while creating SQL system. After importing business system into Integration directory,in Adepter-Specific Identifiers  you can see logical system name of SQL server business sytem which you defined in SLD.
    > Second question is do I create a Logical system in the ECC system (BD54/SALE) for the SQL system or would it be for the client of the ECC system itslef?
Yes,You have to create Logical system in ECC system for SQL system(Logical system name must be with the same name as logical system name you have given in XI SLD in previous question)
    > Third question is do I maintain partner profile configurations in WE20 for the SQL business system or for the ECC business system?
In WE20 You have to maintain partner profiles for SQL server Logical system
For example: If SQL server Business system name is SQLDEVBS and logical system name is SQLDEVLS
In ECC you have to create logical system as SQLDEVLS and
Partner profiles for SQLDEVLS in WE20.
Please let me know if you have any issues.
    Cheers,
    JAG

  • Not booting from 10.4.8 volumes after upgrade from 10.4.7

I'm sorry to report that my aged G4 450 MHz AGP with 4 internal Hard disk drives no longer boots from any of the 2 volumes upgraded to Mac OS X 10.4.8 as soon as it was started from another volume!
All was working fine as long as 10.4.7 was installed on the 2 232 GB disks connected to the SIIG ATA133 controller. I could boot from any OS on any of the 4 disks, 5 partitions:
    internal ATA66 bus:
18 GB disk, 2 partitions: 'IBM_18GB' with OS 9.2.2 and TechTool Pro's 'eDrive' with 10.4.7
    71 GB disk, 1 partition 'IBM_71GB' with OS 9.2.2
    PCI SIIG ATA133 controller:
232 GB disk, one partition 'I1232GB' with 10.4.7, now upgraded to 10.4.8 and no longer bootable
232 GB disk, one partition 'I2232GB' with 10.4.7, now upgraded to 10.4.8 and no longer bootable
Now I can only boot from the Mac OS 9.2.2 or the eDrive 10.4.7 partitions.
What I did so far: 'I2232GB' was my main OS X startup volume, 'I1232GB' contains a clone of it, plus additional folders like software base and backups.
After upgrading 'I2232GB' to Mac OS X 10.4.8 through Software Update and repairing permissions all was OK as long as the Mac was just shut down or re-started: it always booted up in Mac OS X 10.4.8 from 'I2232GB' without any problems.
The next day I booted from 'I1232GB' to do the same there.
Afterwards I could no longer boot in Mac OS X 10.4.8 from 'I2232GB' nor in in Mac OS X 10.4.8 from 'I1232GB': it just gets to the grey screen with the Apple logo, but the round circle underneath indicating some progress never appears. I left it there for hours: it just hangs.
With the Option key held at startup I could boot from the other partitions with Mac OS 9.2.2 or the eDrive with 10.4.7. None of their Startup Control Panels was able to get me back to 10.2.8!
So I booted from the TechTool Pro 4.5.1 DVD to Optimize both volumes, 'I1232GB' & 'I2232GB', always Files only.
Then I booted from the DiskWorrior 3.0.3 CD to rebuild the directories of both volumes, 'I1232GB' & 'I2232GB'.
Still I can not boot from either 'I1232GB' or 'I2232GB' in Mac OS X 10.2.8!
Downloaded the Mac OS X 10.2.8 Compo Update (for PPC) and installed it onto both 'I1232GB' & 'I2232GB' while booted from the eDrive which I keep on Mac OS X 10.4.7 - no luck either, still I can not boot from either 'I1232GB' or 'I2232GB' in Mac OS X 10.2.8!
Then I backed up the users folder from 'I2232GB' onto 'I1232GB', booted from Mac OS 9.2.2 and used Intech's Hard Disk Speedtools 3.6 to format 'I2232GB', afterwards initialized it with Alsoft's Plus Maximizer Extension for a Block Size of 512 Bytes.
Installed Mac OS X 10.4 from DVD, as well as iLive '06 and upgraded everything to the latest releases with Software Update. All was working fine with all the required reboots until another startup volume was chosen: afterwards again I can no longer boot back into Mac OS X 10.2.8 on the fresch installed 'I2232GB'!
    Any help would be appreciated.

Apple G4 AGP   Mac OS X (10.4.8)   4 internal hard disks, dual layer DVD-RW, 2GB RAM

What I did so far: 'I2232GB' was my main OS X

After upgrading 'I2232GB' to Mac OS X 10.4.8
through Software Update and repairing permissions all
was OK as long as the Mac was just shut down or
re-started: it always booted up in Mac OS X 10.4.8
    from 'I2232GB' without any problems.
The next day I booted from 'I1232GB' to do the same
    there.
Afterwards I could no longer boot in Mac OS X 10.4.8
from 'I2232GB' nor in in Mac OS X 10.4.8 from
'I1232GB': it just gets to the grey screen with the
Apple logo, but the round circle underneath
indicating some progress never appears. I left it
there for hours: it just hangs.
With the Option key held at startup I could boot from
the other partitions with Mac OS 9.2.2 or the eDrive
with 10.4.7. None of their Startup Control Panels was
able to get me back to 10.4.8!
So I booted from the TechTool Pro 4.5.1 DVD to
    Optimize both volumes, 'I1232GB' & 'I2232GB',
    always Files only.
Then I booted from the DiskWorrior 3.0.3 CD to

    & 'I2232GB'.
Still I can not boot from either 'I1232GB' or
    'I2232GB' in Mac OS X 10.4.8!
Downloaded the Mac OS X 10.4.8 Compo Update (for PPC)
and installed it onto both 'I1232GB' & 'I2232GB'
while booted from the eDrive which I keep on Mac OS X
10.4.7 - no luck either, still I can not boot from
either 'I1232GB' or 'I2232GB' in Mac OS X
    10.4.8!
Then I backed up the users folder from 'I2232GB'
onto 'I1232GB', booted from Mac OS 9.2.2 and used
Intech's Hard Disk Speedtools 3.6 to format
'I2232GB', afterwards initialized it with Alsoft's
Plus Maximizer Extension for a Block Size of 512
    Bytes.
Installed Mac OS X 10.4 from DVD, as well as iLive
'06 and upgraded everything to the latest releases
with Software Update. All was working fine with all
the required reboots until another startup volume was
chosen: afterwards again I can no longer boot back
into Mac OS X 10.4.8 on the fresch installed
    'I2232GB'!
I found several typos in above post, wherever it was 10.2.8 it should have read 10.4.8 - I'm very sorry for confusing you, this would not have made sense, but I found no way to edit the existing text therefore I modified the quote of it here.
I do not need Mac OS X 10.2.8 back, but it would be nice to boot back in Mac OS X 10.4.8 from another volume as the current one - which was working fine before with Mac OS X 10.4.7.
    Many thanks,
    Josef

  • After upgrading to Windows 8.1 firefox longer works. I got it to load but screen is either blank or doesn't go to target address

after upgrading to Windows 8.1 from 8 nothing works correctly. Firefox 1st received 'unable to load XPcom' After resetting and uninstalling several times Firefox now loads to either a support screen or blank screen. It accepts address input but doesn't execute to target. So far I have been unable to roll back upgrade.
Although IE11 works, it doesn't work correctly.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/fix-problems-connecting-websites-after-updating
If you keep having problems then do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    *Firefox 24: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

  • Deploy to experimental instance deploys to wrong location after upgrade to Vs2013

    Hi,
I have an extension that is deployed against Vs2005/Vs2008/Vs2010/Vs2012 and I am planning to extend this to deploy against Vs2013.
After upgrading my solution to Vs2013 the Vs2012 VSIX is no longer deployed to the experimental instance during the build.
It appears the upgrade has caused the deployment to target "%APPDATA%\...\12.0EXP\.." instead of "%APPDATA%\...\11.0EXP\.."
    Setup:
    1) Visual Studio 2012 Solution which generates a Visual Studio Package Extension.
    2) Upgrade the solution to VS2013
    3) Attempt to build.
            Build fails with Error:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v12.0\VSSDK\Microsoft.VsSDK.targets(503,5): error VSSDK1031: Extension '<myGuid>' could not be found. Please make sure the extension has been installed."
    4) Goto project properties and un-check "Deploy VSIX content to experimental instance for debugging"
    5) Attempt to build.
            Build Succeeds.
Some additional log output showing the incorrect path resolution.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
    UPDATE:
This is only occurring on my win7 machine.  I pulled my repo to a win8 VM and things are working as expected.  I'm not sure if this is a win7 issue or an error on my machine.  I think I'll attempt to re-install my Visual Studio instances and/or
try on another win7 machine in the near future and see if I can narrow down the issue.  I will update again if I find any additional information.
    Thanks,
    Colin

I just spent a half day trying to trouble shoot this problem assuming it was due to a change in the project settings. The error message is extremely misleading, and it would be nice if Microsoft could provide a fix for this issue!
        C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v12.0\
            VSSDK\Microsoft.VsSDK.targets(503,5):
error VSSDK1031: Extension 'GUID of VSIX Package' could not be found.
Please make sure the extension has been installed.
        Build FAILED.
Looking at the block of code in Microsoft.VsSDK.targets was no help either:
<!--Enable this extension via Extension Manager-->
        <EnableExtension
            VsixIdentifier="$(VsixID)"
            RootSuffix="$(VSSDKTargetPlatformRegRootSuffix)"
            FailIfNotInstalled="true" />
It appears that an extension is only marked for deletion, and you must exit and re-start Visual Studio before the files are actually deleted. Take a look in your user profile %TEMP% folder:
        C:\Users\Xxxx\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\12.Exp
Here you will find the extensions that are deployed to the experimental instance. During development I regularly delete the \Nn.Exp folders.

  • After upgrading to the newer version of Firefox, a lose all my tabs every time I close. I've done what was suggested in the FAQx, but I still lose them all when I close. I want to fix this. How?

I want to know how to have my tabs save when I close Firefox. I did what was suggested in the FAQs section, but all my tabs disappear every time I close Firefox, whether using the "exit" command, or the "X" button. This was the very reason I never updated to the new version previously, but had hoped that the problem had been addressed and upgraded, now I'm stuck with having to reopen every tab every time I open Firefox. Please tell me there is a way to correct this. And, I'm not fluent in technospeak, so I need simple, basic instructions. Thank you. Mark

    Hi,
Pressing '''Alt''' + '''T''' on the keyboard brings up the '''Tools''' menu.
To see the full menu bar temporarily, press '''Alt''' or '''F10'''.
To make the menu bar permanently visible, right-click on the '''+''' after the last tab and enable (tick) '''Menu Bar''' or press '''Alt''' + '''V''' > '''Toolbars''' > '''Menu Bar'''.
