Return to Vendor for Credit process - HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are trying to find what Oracle considers a best practice for the Return to Vendor for Credit process. I have heard some options but I would like the system to be able to track the returns and unissued credits. Any help would be appreciated.

It is possible to create delivery for non stock return PO item - I created one w/o any problem.
The shipping tab should be there for the PO item. If it is missing you won't get the delivery.
If the shipping tab is missing for non stock item but you get it for stock items (and everything is the same) then you should check e.g.:
- whether the sales view (for suitable sales area (plant sales area)) exists for the material
- whether fields on sales view are maintained properly (loading group, item category group)
- whether item category determination for the return delivery is maintained (T184L) in relation to the itme category group in material master

    well i have to be honest, but i don't know if it the vista you use has any significance for this. but you can try.
    okay follow:
    1: click "start" on the status line on the buttom of your screen.
    2: then click on "all Programs" and find "Accessories" and find the "command prompt"
    3: Right click with your mouse "command prompt" and click on "run as administrator"
    (as you has click'd on "run as administrator", "command prompt" should appear.)
    4: when it appears you need to type this "netsh windsock reset"
    5: wait for your computer to registrer the command you gave it, and restart your computer.
    then erverything should be pretty much as good or better then new.

  • Return from Vendor in Refurbishment Process

    Need help in understanding the below Steps Refurbishment Scenario u2013
    We want to send the defective Material to a external Vendor for Repair, we can Issue the Material under valuation class u201CDEFECTu201D Thro MB1B Mvt Type 541 . However while taking back thro Mvt type 542 it is not possible to take it in valuation class u201CREFURu201D .
    Kindly guide how to map the process.

    I have two Queries pls guide -
    1) Is standard SAP PM Refurbishment Process is not supporting the process of external repair of spares ( Which is a common industry practise ) . Due to this we need to have two processes for repair one for internal repair Refurbishment Process & another for external repair Subcontracting Process.
    2) As this "Subcontracting indicator " in PM Order Process is available for ECC6 - EHP4 --- we are not in that so how we can map the process of external repair in SAP PM .

    I am having a similar issue with iTunes Match. It keeps hanging up on the same number of files (11035 of 15455) during STEP 2. I've tried signing out, re-opening iTunes, re-booting, etc. Still comesup stuck for hours. What I also don't understand is why the "iCloud Status" option in "View/View Options" disappears intermittently. It was there when I first booted up this morning and I reviewed all my music files to see if there were any "errors" and there werne't any. But after Match gets stuck on the same file niumber (11035) I 've signed out and re-booted and now the "iCloud Status" check box is missing from "View Options" (only the "iCloud Download" option remains present all the time. Please help. (I've also checked to make sure all the music files are within the suggested bit rate parameters and file type - This is also a brand new iMac out of the box). Running out of troubleshooting ideas and beginning to think this service just doesn't work well.

    q1) how to link between sap and  third party tool like TSM, or any other tool (detailed process )
    q2) how do we write from SAP to TSM  (looking for detailed process)
    q3) How do we restore from TSM when in need  ( basically i am looking for process and command in specific )

    Hi,
    1) If you have already installed TSM servers...
    you need to add an extra node to that server.
    then you will have client side configuration file.
    DSM.sys and dsm.opt. (these files will hold the details about the which server it will be communicating to and location of passwprd files log files etc)

    2) The SAP system uses the backup control files like initSID.sap....if we use any backup tools like TSM then we need to specify the location and define that file at that loaction...that is initSID.utl file .
    Using all these files the SAp system backs up the data to the specified TSm server .
    3) while restoring also it uses these files to pick up the right server and we anyway specify the *.anf or *.aff file (backup file /usr/sap/sapbackup) it restores.
    It is using SAp provided utilities as brbackup and brrestore to do this .
    And DSm.sys,dsm.opt are the configuration files.
    Backup utility file as initSID.utl and initSID.sap.
    apart from this lot of other autonication files ,password files ,error log file,log location all these will be specified while configuring the node they are used when ever TSm is used for restore or backup.

    The prices on the US store don't include the local sales tax that Apple must add on in the final steps of the sale. You need to put more than just $15 credit in the account to buy a $15 app/game.

  • Unable to raise RTV (Return to Vendor) for a purchase item

    Hai all,
    An item purchased from a supplier and stock delivered to sub-inventory, from that total quantity we want to return few numbers of item to the supplier.
    While we try to raise RTV (Return To Vendor) (Navigation: Oracle Inventory Responsibility > Oracle Inventory > Transactions > Receiving > Returns) for
    that particular supplier, unable to raise RTV for an item.
    In that purchase order we raised 15 items, among these 15 items system allows to raise RTV for 14 items expect 1 item what we want to return to the supplier.
    Anyone kindly offer solution to solve this above issue.

    Try checking rcv_transactions_interface for any pending / errored record for RTV against the same PO.
    you can query from backend or you can use Transaction Status Summary form.
    if you find any stuck records, try to identify errors, and reprocess it.

  • When I external edit an aperture photo using Photoshop Elements 9 and then get out, the changes are not reflected in Aperture when I return - this used to work for me but doesn't seem to have for some time - help please?

    Have used Aperture for some time - at some point this stopped working - not sure when
    workflow:
    click photo and elect to use the external editor (Photoshop Elements 9)
    Copy of the photo is created in Aperture with the "O" badge and I am rolled out to Photoshop
    Have to change the type to 8-bit in Photoshop to start making changes
    When done and I exit I am prompted to save the photo
    On returning to Aperture however the "O" badged photo does not get updated/reflect my changes
    Other Things:
    I can find a changed photo sitting in the Aperture Library using finder or Photoshop itself - so I know changes have been made a new file saved (TIFF).
    I am wondering if I am missing some (new) preference such that the changes are not proerly being saved for re-display/storage in the Aperture Library
    I am running Lion OSX at the moment but the behaviour was the same under Snow Lepoard versions.
    Current version of Aperture is 3.1.3, Elements is 9.0
    Any help/suggestions greatfully received

    Try using psd.  Some rerports indicate some confustion between the apps with TIFF.  See:

    I cannot confirm, nor test, since I use PS CS5, and not Elements.

  • Considering APO for order allocation - Help please

    Please help me understand how we can use APO gATP in our process. Our products are managed in Square meteres but are sold in ROLs. the ATP check is currently done in Square meters and this is causing problems. Though we have the Square meteres in available stock, we cannot promise the stock as the customer may ask for ROLs of a specfic length and that have certain charactersitics. BAtch split is not possible in Sales order and we are unable to determine ATP based on batches as we treat Each Rol as a separate batch.
    Can someone help me understand how gATP can help us. We are on 4.6 B currently and how do we go abaout upgrading?

    Before you understand, how GATP works,
    Could you please ask your SALES ORDER entry people, how the ATP check was happening prior to APO-GATP.
    In R3, if it was happening previously, I dont see any difficulty implementing the same in APO.
    PLease be elaborate and list out all the details and may be we can help you.

  • Custom ALERT TONE for iphone need HELP please.

    I understand how to create a custom TONE as an M4R file and import into itunes into the TONES library.
    When i sync my TONES to my iPhone, it lists as a RING tone.
    My custom ring tones, which are approximately 10 sec long work just fine when set as my RING tone for incoming calls.
    HOWEVER ....
    What i am DESPERATELY trying to do is create a custom ALERT tone and have it LIST as an ALERT tone in my phone and NOT a ring tone. Seems custom tones do not work for sms alerts.
    I searched EVERYWHERE and can not seem to find an answer. I realize apple wants us all to BUY alert tones, but i should be able to create my own too no?
    I created some custom alert tones, approximately 1 sec long each. Converted them to M4R files and sync'd them to my phone.
    In my phone they appear under the RING TONES list and not ALERT TONES.
    Maybe this dosent matter, however, when i try to set my TEXT ALERT SOUND to one of my custom ALERT tones, they do NOT work. My text messages come in without playing the sound.
    Can ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME figure out how to properly create a TONE as an ALERT TONE for my iphone?

    I've never been able to assign custom tones under alerts.  It doesn't matter though as you can assign ringtones as alerts as of iOS 5 I believe.  I had a similar issue with silent alerts, sometimes they would play, other times theywouldn't, but they would always play when selecting them under settings.  Resetting all settings (not content) has so far fixed that issue for me.  Try resetting your settings after you've synced your tones.

    FT and iMessages used to work for me, but when I try to sign into them, it kicks me back to the sign in screen 9 out of ten times saying..."You were signed out of FaceTime because your AppleID or password changed. Sign in to turn on FaceTime.
    When it DOES eventually let me through, either via restart/reset it tries to verify my email... fails... then says it sent an e-mail to my account, which never arrives. I tried resetting my security questions and I do get e-mails when I go that route. Still no fix.
    My account still works via the app store/itunes/apple webpage, etc.
    I've tried calling support and they seemed stumped. Trying re-syncing, hard reset...resetting all my settings, I have time auto-synced... still no remedy. Please help. Bought this specifically for Facetime and now I can't even get that to work.

    OK, the fix was frustratingly easy.
    My Apple ID is an old @mac.com address which is non functioning. This email address was also sitting in "alternate email addresses" within my Apple ID settings page. I deleted it and FaceTime and iMessage now work.
    I went to www.appleid.apple.com and logged in using my normal Apple ID credentials. I then made sure that ANY alternate email addresses listed under the Apple ID were in fact verifed. Sitting happily in there under "Alternate Email Address" was the @mac.com which was the non-functioning email address. I deleted and it's all now working. I also deleted some other alternate email addresses that were sitting in there.
    The only other suggestion from Apple was to create a separate Apple ID specifically for the FaceTime / iMessage functionality.
    They said the conflict probably arose from the fact that the Apple ID was associated with an alternate email address which could NOT be verified.
    I have to hand it to the Senior Tech Analysist from Apple in Brisbane. Very helpful, very friendly and their follow-through and ownership of my problem were very good.

    Hi Team,
    I am new to OAF and is working on a requirement to add some custom validations when the user clicks on a Button in a standard seeded page.
    The approach I took was to Extend the seeded Controller object that handled this button press event and put my custom logic in the extended controller and override the standard controller via personalization.
    The standard flow was that upon pressing the Complete Button in Page A ,user was taken to the next seeded page (Page B) to perform certain operations based on the records that were selected in Page A.
    Part of the custom validation requirement was that if certain validations were not met then the user needs to be shown a Pop-up asking if they really wanted to proceed and if they selected Yes then continue with the standard seeded flow(move to page B)  and if they selected NO then just stay on the current page.
    I was able to use OADialogPage and do this partially , the issue I am running into is that once the user selects the one or more records  using a check box from a multi-record (table) region and hits the Complete Button on page A and if the validation fails then a modal page is shown and the user makes a selection i.e.either Yes or No from the modal page and when they return to calling page (i.e. Page A) , All the Data (records ) that they selected previously is lost (Page is refreshed). Based on what I see on this forum I suspect that it is because after clicking on Yes on the modal page and while returning to the original page the processRequest fires again and VO data is queried again and all selections on the page A are lost. Since I am trying to alter the flow in seeded pages based on user intervention I am kind of lost as to how this issue can be fixed. i.e. either prevent the page refresh or preserve the selections that were made prior to navigating to the modal page. Any Help is truly appreciated !!

    I was able to work around this issue by adding a simple check in the processRequest method of my extended Controller to prevent the call to super.processRequest incase when the control returns to the page after the user has made a selection in the Dialog Page
