i have generate a HTML page with JSP. Then by an action on a menu on the left frame,i have to rewrite this page with the data already seized, and more code inside(i.e complete the page).
How can i do ?

Use JavaScript to tell the other frame to reload or to go to another location. Generate the JavaScript if you're processing a request of the menu...

Build Application with all files inside .exe

Hello,
I have a labview project consisting of a few classes and subvi's. Nothing really special. Now when i try to build an .exe file, i get the .exe, an application.ini, an Application.aliases and an data folder (has the classes and dll's within). What i want however is the .exe file with all files inside. So that at the test setup, there is only one file on de dekstop, and not 4. Is it possible to do that?

LabVIEW 2009 and later have a build option (set on per default) that embeds all the classes inside the executable file.
The ini file will always be created, however you can delete it during startup of your executable.
I think you don't need the data folder since that has some DLL already present on your system.
However my advise is to create an installer that puts the executable (and the other files) inside the program files folder. And the installer can create a shortcut to the executable.

How to use custom HTML page in flex web application with out using iframe

Hi all,
I have to import a custom HTML page (that has got links to another html pages) inside my flex web application and i dont want to use IFrame. Can you please suggest me with best example.

Hi, there:
Best thing to do is to start with the default login.html page, and then modify it. The login screen is fairly complex and it's easy to just miss a JS function you need to call. To get to default page, you would need to do one deploy (to simulator or whatever), and then look for login.html page in the temporary Xcode or Android project generated from the deployment. It should be under the "deploy" directory in your JDev workspace.
You can also see all the framework JS files and CSS files that way as well.
We have had customers implementing custom login screen so we know it can work, but they all had to start with the default login screen and then modify it.

Up/download html-page including all images

Hi y'all,
I'm developing a quite normal Webbrowser-Webserver-DatabaseServer application with Web-Frontend, Servlets, Jsp, Beans and good old JDBC-Technique. It's kind of a small dictionary.
What I need is a solution for the following problem:
Every item of the dictionary should be made of a html-page which could contain images, too. An administrator builds these pages and uploads them to the webserver. So how can I upload the html-page with all its images automatically?
Some thoughts about it:
- can the html-code be searched for images by java-script, and could they be uploaded automatically then?
- do I need a AWT/Swing frontend?
- or may a httpServlet request the images after getting the html-page?
- packing all the files together into a .zip-File would not be soooo nice, the admin may be dumb.
The same problem I have with downloading a page onto the administrators computer.

I'm not extremely experienced as a JSP/Java programmer but here are my thoughts:
It sounds like your basic requirements are fairly simple, but you are taking the long way around to get there. If it is a dictionary-style app and the administrator is of limited experience then you need to keep things simple.
Why create pages to upload when you can create a template with JSP and insert the text data and the images from a form? Text and link info can be stored in a database and the actual image can be uploaded to a directory or put in the db if you know how. Java Server Pages (O'Reilly) has the image upload code you need.
Am I on track here?

Open HTML page as a tab inside ADF Page

I have a link in my adf(jspx) page,which should actaully open a html page in a new tab.
I am not sure how to implement this.
I am able to open jsp fragments on new tab.But not HTML Pages.
Can anyone help me on this.

I want the tab to be opened inside the adf page itself as adf dynamic tab..not as a separate tab in browser.

Opening adf fragments in a new tab inside the adf page itself is possible.
But am able not able to specify a html page to open in a new adf tab in the same adf page.

CUP 5.3 is coming back with all risks associated with a user

HI, i know this has probably come up in the past but i'm not finding it anywhere in the forum. we are having a problem with CUP 5.3 provisioning as it's bringing up all risks associated with a user rather than the new ones for the role being requested. this is especially aggravating for roles that do not have a conflict. i'm thinking this might be a very simple answer but i'm not finding it anywhere.

And, as per my knodelge, There's no way to show only the "new risks" in CUP risk analysis.
If you want to use GRC succesfully, first you have to "get clean". Check here (Note 1593056 - Best Practices for Remediation of
Segregation of Duties risk):
The Risk Analysis and Remediation (RAR) application is part of the "Get Clean" methodology which is at the core of GRC Access Control. The first step of any Access Control project should be to "Get Clean" of any segregation of duties violations through the use of RAR. Once clean, Compliant User Provisioning, Enterprise Role Management and SuperUser Privilege Management are tools used to "Stay Clean".
If you've already identified the risk, mitigate them. This is the best practise. I undertand your problem, but until you finish the "clean procedure" you should use an alternative workflow for CUP.

Save as "web page, complete" .html file disappears when overwriting file with same name

On Mac and PC using various versions of FireFox (including 29.0.1 on Win 7) the following occurs:
"Save Page As" a page with several iFrames in the content. I use "Web page, complete" and name the file.
Close FireFox. The .html file and accompanying folder are saved correctly. Then I open the file in FireFox and make some changes to fields in a form. Then "Save Page As" again and use the same name. It prompts to overwrite the existing file and I click Yes.
Three out of four times the file is no longer there. The folder remains but the .html file is gone. Not in the trash or hidden, just gone.
I know this sounds crazy but I have tested it on about 20 computers (both mac and various windows versions), all with different FF versions and different antivirus. The above scenario happens: always on 1 computer, occasionally (random) on 3, and hasn't been observed yet on the others.
Has anyone encountered this before? Are there any antivirus or malware products that could cause this? Any settings in FF that could? Any thing about this page or frames that could cause it?

I found the solution. Yes, the first time you replace a file it disappears altogether. Just save it again, and it will reappear with the updated date and time code in the directory you chose to save it in. I only wish this were the problem in Firefox v. 30, but that is worse now.

Why does only the first page of seach results show, with further pages graying out?

In a search, I may get >1,000,000,000 hits, but only the first page is readable. "Next" gives me a grayed out screen and FF freezes. Any of the offered searches at the bottom of that first screen will do the same thing. Repeated hitting "back" will clear it.
This has been true, through all the upgrades, including a backgrade to 3.6 (?) for 64-bit. This makes FF useless as a search platform, though it is my preference, even over Chrome, if it would work.

That does seem rather useless.
Use Automator - it has a "PDF to Images" action that will do exactly what you need. Drop your document into the workflow, drop the "PDF to Images" action in right after that, set any options that you need (like where to save) and then click "run"
Barring that, I've found that sometimes Adobe Reader will sometimes work well for documents that Preview can't print, and I've found some documents that Adobe Reader chokes on but Preview handles flawlessly.

With all the updates with Firefox and Yahoo, My Yahoo homepage no longer works or functions at all. It doe's work on Safari. When I click on anything on My homepage all I get is a message" sorry bad request".

I also often have to do a forced quit as firefox freezes up. I did not have these problems until I tryed to upgrade to firefox4. for Mac.
I tryed re-enstalling 3.5 but ended up with 5 which was worse. It appears that Firefox and Yahoo are no longer compatible.

I know you can't help with my Yahoo problem, however, apparently at some time in the past I have went to the Sync and tried to figure it out on both my laptop and my desktop, because I have the long snyc key information. However, when I go to try to sync both computers I never get the box to enter that key on either one. That is my problem. So should I try and get a new sync key and see if that works.

HTML Page With Icon Buttons

So I'm not too familiar with HTML pages but I think this
might be advanced...at least for me. ;-) What I have is a html page
that is set up with a table and inside the table is a background
image. The table is aligned to center and that's pretty much set to
go for the background. What I want to do now is add buttons onto
this page but I can't figure out how to have the buttons stay in
the same exact place of the background image when I change the size
of my web page. I know how to do this in ImageReady by just slicing
this thing left and right, but I wasn't sure if there's a way to do
this in Dreamweaver to make this easy.
This is what the page looks like as of right now:

What I would like to do is not have the page load up in
chunks since I had to slice everything in ImageReady. Any
suggestions? I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks a lot!

Put the buttons into cells of the table. But (and this is a
big one) - The
table must be constructed using good table methods. This
means it would
have to be built so that if your content expands (i.e.,
someone resizes
their text in the browser), it doesn't expand those cells.
You cannot,
therefore, merge and split cells in this table containing the
buttons.
That means you have to understand HTML tables enough to be
able to build
that layout.
A point I am subtly trying to make is that this alignment of
foreground
things with background things is usually not a good page
layout approach.

This is the way that most people enter the dreaded domain of
"Table Hell".
Do not use a graphics editor to write your HTML.

Displaying content on multiple html pages

I’m building a basic website for a business/charity I
work in. I’m no pro so all my pages and templates are written
in HTML. For convenience it would be nice to have sustain bits of
info appear throughout the website on different pages. As I
understand the best way to do this is to create a RSS feed and then
have the relevant web pages display the feed.
However I’ve been reading up on how to do this and I am
finding it very complicated and am not even sure if it can be done
with an HTML page. All the examples I have come across seem to be
done in PHP. I’m not even sure what PHP is.
My question therefore is: Firstly, is RSS, what I need, or is
there a simpler way of having bits of text appear on multiple web
pages? And, if so, can I have RSS feeds display in an HTML? And,
again, if so, can someone point me in the right direction to do
this in the most simple but yet still efficient/reliable way?

Yes. It is true *unless* the host enables server parsing of

Name the file being included anything you want. It doesn't
matter to its
functionality as an included file.

A properly constructed include file should only contain
references to CSS
rules specified in the parent page. That being the case, if
you are editing
the include file directly, you cannot style the text unless
you are doing it
in Dreamweaver, or unless you make reference to the existing
styles
specified in the parent page.
Contribute does lots more than what you ask. Go to Adobe's
site and read
about it.

Insert JAVA3D CODE into a HTML PAGE

My java 3d code is working perfectly with javac and java command. I can see the result of my game in the appletviewer
But when I want to insert the code into a html page,it dosen t work
the java applet remain grey....

I don't know Java3D, but I know a little applets. :)
Are you sure your browser understands the 3D API ?
applets work with AWT and JDK1.1, (it's your browser than run your applet and not your jdk 1.3 or 1.4), so peraphs you should download a plug-in to run Java3D in your browser ?
for example, if you want to use swing, you have to download a plug-in in your browser.
and another problem is that different browsers work differently with a same applet : for example, IE 6.0 don't run than IE 4.0 or Netscape 3.0
it's the internet's way of life... :)
