    hi refre this thread too
    lookup of alternativeServiceIdentifier via CPA-cache failed for channel
    SAP Note - 730870
    This alternativeServiceIdentifier error mostly appeared while changing the information of Business Systems ie.e Client information in communication channel.
    As the Business system information from SLD will not be matched for the communication details. You are trying to override the metadata information of Business System maintained in SLD. This creates conflicts while connecting with the sender/receiver system

  • Are there any apps which will allow local calling using data only that do not require any special numbers called out initially and does not require the receiver to have a similar app or account?

    Are there any apps which will allow local calling using data only (not minutes, no extra charge) that do not require any special numbers called out initially and does not require the receiver to have a similar app or account?  Just for random local calling.

    Yup.
    Here is a way you could solve this by adding an extra column and a small lookup table:
    The lookup table is here for the copying:
    0
    1
    k
    kilo
    2
    M
    mega
    3
    G
    giga
    4
    T
    tera
    5
    P
    peta
    6
    E
    exa
    7
    Z
    zetta
    8
    Y
    yotta
    In table 8 (the one on the left in the image) column A is where the values are.
    B1=A1÷(1024^VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 1))&" "&VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 2)&"B"
    this is shorthand for... select cell B1, then type (or copy and paste from here) the formula:
    =A1÷(1024^VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 1))&" "&VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 2)&"B"
    select cell B1, copy,
    now select all the cells in column B, paste

  • The wrong name of the message sender appears. The phone also does not notify the receiver. This started after we purchased in iPad and attempted sending that phone an iMessage.

    When sending messages to one of our iPhones, the wrong name of the sender appears. The phone also does not notify the receiver. This started after we purchased in iPad and attempted sending that phone an iMessage.

    Hi buddy, I figured out what is wrong with that. I had the very same issue, while sending an sms via iMessage on Mountain Lion. I called the Apple guy at the Apple care support but without any luck.
    At the end--at least in my case, but it could also be yours--I think I have understood what was going on. This happens when you have your Apple ID registered on more than one device. In my case, we have two iPhones--one for me and one for my wife--but with the same App Store account. So, when I sent an sms via iMessage for the Mac, the receiver was shown my wife's iPhone number.
    I hope I have been clear enough, you know, explaining this in a foreing language is always painful...
    Ciao,
    Antonio
    P.S.: this could be true for similar issues (iMessage wrong sender) that I've read in the Mountain Lion, iPad and iPod forums.

  • RFC - XI - WebService :: Not getting complete Response from WS

    Hi
    I am working on a following Synchronous scenario
    <b>SAP R/3 --> Sender RFC Adapter --> XI --> Rec. SOAP Adapter --> MI Web Service</b>
    Now I tested the structure of Request/Response Message from WebService in XML Spy, & designed my Request/Response Message structure in XI based on that.
    Now when I am sending the request from <u>XML Spy</u>,the Response message which is coming is this -->
    <i><?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">

    But when I am sending the Request from SAP R/3 <u>using SAP XI</u>, I am getting the Response message from WebService like this -->
    <i><?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Call Adapter

      <getReturn href="#id0" />
      </ns1:getResponse></i>
    which suggest that operation is getting called successfully & response is coming back.
    Can you tell me what is the reason that why I am not getting the rest of the response .

    Hi,
    Yes it can be possible, you have to maintain SOAP Header.
    please see the below links..

  • PI 7.1 EHP1: RFC lookup does not pass the parameter values

    Hi,
    I am not sure if anyone came cross this issue:
    This is IDOC -> PI -> File scenario
    IDOC sender side, we used IDOC packaging, means in one message, we have mutiple IDOCs.
    There is RFC lookup function in message mapping, it takes 8 parameters. There are four contants value and four queue passed.
    We would like to call the RFC lookup for each IDOC sent.
    Saying we sent 10 IDOCs, the RFC was called 10 times, this is expected behavior.
    However, in 8 parameters, we miss four parameters values even we passed values
    Regards.
    Liang

    J Augastine:
    Thanks for the input.
    In blog, it talked about one RFC call for a mapping.
    In my situation, we need to multiple times of RFC, since this is EDI scenario, some elements need to be incremented.
    Previously, this RFC works without any problem. However we increased 4 parameters, for those parameter added laterly, it does not carry the value to RFC call, I tried to removed the function from ESR and re-import the RFC, but it still does not help.
    I also tried to pass constant value or queue value, it all does not help.
    Regards.

  • SOAP to RFC result is not Mathcing The  Actual RFC Result!

    Greetings PI Experts,
    I have a very simple webservice which runs a custom function module to look up vendor details based on a number. When I run the RFC in R3 system it gives the correct result I expect, However, it always give (Vendor Not Exist) when executing via SOAP webservice .
    any tips?

    Hello,
    I had the same problem on my project and cause was in request data formating.
    For example, we have in SAP system customer (defined in system like 8 digits field) 123456 and when getting detail through BAPI in SAP all is fine. But when execute request to this BAPI through Web Service it expect data in 00123456 format (and for 123456 i got 'No customer exist' message).
    If your data have char type problem can be in leading blanks.
    So check in debugger in which format BAPI expect data and format you request data.

  • I have a cp5225 that do not print the receiving emails

    I connect my printer to the hpeprint center. The print center have the jobs pending. How can I send this to my printer.

    Hey gladys-w!
    If the jobs show pending and the printer shows 'Connected' and 'Ready' for the status markers then it should print momentarily. If it isn't though, try cancelling the print jobs in ePrintCenter and sending them again. If the printer's status shows something other than 'Connected' and 'Ready' let me know what it says.
    Hope this helps!
    If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!

    I have a pioneer 50 inch plasma + I purchased new from the company back in 2005.   I tried to hook up an Apple Tv to the pioneer receiver that came with the TV.   I can not get it to work.
    The receiver has two HDMI  inputs in the back.  However they say they are not for PC's.  Furthermore they must be set up by going to the home menu.    I tried everything, but I can not get the receiver to talk to the Apple TV. I even tried a connector that uses an HDMI to the Apple TV that has the other side of the cable as 5 RCA cables.  I could not get the receiver to see the Apple TV.   I have a newer TV in the house, it has no problem talking with the Apple TV.  But this older system seems to be handicapped in its ability to talk with the newer Apple TV system.
    My Email is [email protected]
    Do you have any suggestions
    Thanks

    I could not access the Apple TV on the television.   If I put the Apple TV directly into by TV, I have an external sound system (entertainment system), therefore I worry that I would by pass the audio.
    Thanks for taking your time to attempt to help!   Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    This looks like a permission error for the user role provided in production. try sending soap request from web client tool and see whether you get the same error.
    Check whether you have all the permissions required and also check whether there is WS security in the production environment.

  • RFC to SOAP - Mapping Error

    Hi All
    I am working on RFC to SOAP Scenorio.
    The requirement is RFC will make a querry and all the vendor details will be received in the return table structure of the RFC Function module.
    There will be multiple entries in the Return table.
    I am getting the sucess message and the number of records is also matching.
    But the Data is not getting mapped to the right field in the Return table.
    But if i see the SXMB_MONI response message, Data is correctly mapped
    Regards
    Madhan D

    You are getting the right XML from the target and its not getting placed correctly in the return tables.
    The only problem can be with the ABAP code/logic which you wrote for assigning and populating the response values into the tables.
    Regards
    Sunil.

  • RFC-to-SOAP webservice using HTTPS

    Hi experts,
    I have a RFC-to-SOAP (sync) and the URL of the webservice is using HTTPS. I'm not the owner of the webservice.
    Encountered these errors
    - for sender comm :
    com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: Peer sent alert: Alert Fatal: illegal parameter
    - receiver comm :
    Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Peer sent alert: Alert Fatal: illegal parameter: iaik.security.ssl.SSLException: Peer sent alert: Alert Fatal: illegal parameter
    We are not using certificate authentication so I don't think that's the cause.
    Have checked that the https is running ok for ABAP but I don't think that got anything to do with the errors. Is there something wrong with SSL setting for J2EE? If yes, how may I check?
    Are there some parameters to be set up? In the RFC sender comm & SOAP receiver comm, I do not find any special settings for https.
    I have read this link : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/14/ef2940cbf2195de10000000a1550b0/content.htm. Is it necessary to set the Exchange Profile Parameters? My BASIS colleague is now checking it.
    Thanks for reading and will appreciate any advice!

    Thanks Prateek for the quick reply!
    Re HTTPS certificate, do you mean the cert for my XI server or the cert from the web service?
    I have tested calling the web service using SOAPUI and it works fine without using the cert given by the web service (which is expired anyway)...

  • RFC-to-SOAP-Scenario: XIServer:NO_MAPPINGPROGRAM_FOUND

    Hey guys,
    We've implemented in SAP PI 7.11 a RFC-to-SOAP-Scenario. The whole scenario is sync. WSDL and RFC are imported objects.
    Now we're going on to test in backend and call the related remote function module via se37.
    The error message is (from xsmb_moni)::
    <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">

      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />

      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    What we've already done:
    -> Cache refresh
    -> server restart
    -> soap fault mapping
    -> dummy changes
    -> mapping is available in sxi_cache
    -> function module is not dumping in backend
    Any ideas how we can go futher with this?
    Thank you very much and greetings,
    Stefan

    FYI...
    Apparently, this error message can sometimes be misleading.
    I found in another thread that this message came after a short dump in the ABAP function. After viewing ST22 in our backend system I noticed short dumps corresponding to the times when I make the SOAP call.
    [NO_MAPPINGPROGRAM_FOUND SOAP RFC Adapter]
    We can call SE37 with the same parameters and there is no ABAP error. So the search for root cause continues, but maybe this info will help someone.
