Robocopy Version XP010 - Excluding Multiple Directories using /XD

I'm attempting to use Robocopy to routinely copy data between 2 servers. In the file structure being copied there are several folders + their associated sub-folders e.g DfsrPrivate and Projects\Archived for this example I don't want to copy.
I've attempted to use the switches /XD DfsrPrivate /XD Projects\Archived
/XF is also used to exclude all .bak files. (referenced after the 2 /XD switches)
This results in the log file header below:

This results in the DfsrPrivate being excluded but Projects\Archived and all the subfolders below are not.
Has any one had experience with trying this, and had success?

I'm seeing the same behavior as the OP, and the quotes don't work (windows 2008 R2 server)
My output file looks like this;

Well, there is a round about way to do that -
The idea is to use multi mapping. 1:n mapping
1) Map ur message to 2 different record set nodes. Since you want to use the same file both the mapping will look exactly the same. make sure that the filepath and filename are a part of the output payload message
2) In the file adapter config. make sure the the file name and file path are from these payload fields. You can use a context object to refer these fields. Voila...the files are created in the 2 direcoties you mentioned.
of course the simplest way is to route the same message to 2 business systems/services and write them out using 2 ccs.,

In file sender communication channel there is a check box for Advanced Selection for Source file. Check that and you dont put anything in exclusion which means it takes all the files from multiple direcotires. Please check this weblog where he has excluded some files in the directory. But you dont need to exclude anything.

File Adapter: picking files from multiple directories

Hi all,
In a sender file communication channel with Transport
Protocol FTP, There are 2 parameters for Picking up the file
called Source Directory and Filename. If I want to pick the
files from 2 or more directories, What needs to be done.
Or is it possible to do so ?
Without making duplicate interfaces what else can be done ?

Actually it is possible to select files from different folders for sender channel. It is available with SP14.
I just copy following description from help.sap.com
Advanced Selection for Source File
If you want to set an exclusion mask for the File Name specified above, or if you want to specify multiple directories using a file name mask and exclusion mask, set the Advanced Selection for Source File indicator.
¡ Specify an Exclusion Mask for the file name specified above.
Example
You want to process all files that have the extension '.txt', but want to exclude all files that begin with the letter 'a'. To do this, enter .txt for File Name, and a for Exclusion Mask.
¡ You can enter additional specifications for source directories, file names, and exclusion masks in the table. This data is processed in addition to the details specified above.

CallManager Multitenant (Multiple Directories)

As far as CallManager Multi Tenant goes, I am good with how to do everything except the directory part. From what I read, I can use the Cisco SDK (editing the XML) to say which directory each phone can see in the Corporate Directory. I'm trying to save myself a lot of research time here. Is there anyone who has been successful in creating multiple directories (using any method) and setting phones up to use these directories. I'm pretty savvy with scripting in both php/asp and I can even setup my own external directory if needed to pull from. I have full control over the system so there isn't anything I have to stay away from. any help is greatly appreciated. I am running CM 7.

we need to create one sender communication channel , in that we nend to use "adavnced selection for source file " for sending multiple files from multiple directories.
we need to create 'n' receiver communication channels and 'n' receiver agreements based on communication channels .
in receiver determination, provide multiple receivers

Multiple sites-Use both versions?

I have 3 domains, removed into separate folders. I have backed these up.
1. School domains-1 active classroom site/1 from last year I copy entries from
2. Teacher Support domain-a site I created to help teachers at my school
3. Personal site with photos
Using “Open With” I upgraded the personal site to 2.x. IWeb 2.x is great for photos. When I upgraded the domain using 2.x it works fine.
I can’t convert #2 above, as it is made with an 11Mystics theme and the blogs just disappear. The entries show in iWeb, but the main blog page with the RSS feeds is empty. I have yet to try deleting the RSS folder and republishing. Using 11Mystics beta for my theme and installing themes and thumbnails doesn’t work well.
I would be happy leaving #1 & 2 in iWeb 1.x, but when I publish one will render just fine in the browser and the other always gets the error page. Sometimes they alternate.
Has anyone been successful publishing multiple sites using both? Are there any 11Mystics users who have been successful in upgrading? I’m using Aerolite Silver. Thank you for your time.

I'm publishing to .Mac Thanks for the information. I may give it another try. I effectively do as you do. I have an iWeb folder that has folders for each website. One will have a regular 2.x domain - the other will open the domain with iWeb 08.
I'd convert everything, but I put so much work into my resource site (06 version)

I could duplicate all of the theme pages I tweaked and use them in 2.x, but for the disappearing blogs. I may try deleting the RSS folder from iDisk and publishing again in 08. It's just so time consuming to experiment with 3 domains, then revert back, as publishing takes forever.

If you are passing the values at runtime then you can loop it and and invoke the file adapter in loop by dynamically passing the value in invoke properties for "File Directory and File name" etc.

we have 2 iphone 4's synced to the same itunes account for apps and music since the day we bought them, but each has a different icloud acct. they have both been updated on the same itunes account with every update that has come out since we bought them in december of 2010. nothing on either phone has ever been lost or duplicated. having said all that, maybe i'm missing something here, but we have had no problems. we do have itunes setup to sync manually. i do believe i'm a piker compared to lawrence finch, but i'm just telling you what happens in my house. maybe check with apple? is there a store near you?

Bash script question, how do I create multiple directories on one line

I am making a package for amavisd-new (yes I am aware that there is one in community but I can't say I like the way it is done).
I have an install script from which I want to create multiple directories if they do not exist.
So I want to create a directory /var/spool/amavis with subdirectories of var tmp virusmails spammassassin .
I can't seem to be able to find a way to do this on one line.

The version of GroupWise you are using cannot access this post office

I built a new Server and added it to my PCSD Tree. The new server name is
GroupWise and has an IP Address of 10.10.0.13.
I followed the GroupWise 7 Installation Guide and installed GroupWise to
this server. At no point did I find any place to enter the GroupWise
License.
During the install I discovered that 4 of my long time employees were not
able to be assigned to this new GroupWise server. It appears that a one
time (Long time ago) these 4 employees were part of an old GroupWise Mail
server that must have been removed. I can not find any reference to this
old GroupWise server. My thought is to delete the accounts for there 4
users and recreate the accounts.
However the larger problem is this: I can not login to the GroupWise
Server. Below are two screen shots of what I’m getting when I
launch the GroupWise 7 Client. When I look at the .NLM loaded on the
Server for GroupWise MTA 7.0 it shows Domain Total=1 Closed=0, Post
Offices Total=1 Closed=1, Gateways Total=0 Closed=0.
On the Client, when I launch GroupWise, The Novell GroupWise Startup has a
message in the message window “The version of GroupWise you are
using cannot access this post office”. Then after clicking OK three
times, the following message appears on the screen “GroupWise did
not initialize successfully, Please run GroupWise Setup, or contact your
system administrator. Unspecified error OLE Error 80004005

**You need to disassociate these four NDS users from any GW attributes.
Right-click each user in C1, GroupWise Utilities->GW / eDirectory
Association->Disassociate GroupWise Attributes.
*** When I do as instructed I get the following error:

One called DOMAIN and the other called PCAM (PCAM is name of my domain).

under advanced tab.............If you set the Enable indicator, you can enter variables for the Target Directory and File Name Scheme. Enter the names of the variables and references in the table.
● Enter each variable that you reference in the Target Directory and File Name Scheme fields without the surrounding percentage sign under Name of Variables in the table.
The variables can refer to attributes of the message header or elements of the message payload.
○ If the variables are to refer to an attribute of the message header, add the prefix message: to the name of the variable under Reference. You can specify the following attributes of the message header:
sender_party, sender_service, receiver_party, receiver_service, interface_name, interface_namespace,
message_id (message ID with hyphens, for example 9fbe1ff1-9a0d-11d9-8665-cbf10a126331)

i need to pick up the above mentioned two files and send it to the following paths
app1\files\us\download\US.txt
app1\files\uk\download\UK.txt
US.txt has to goto US folder and UK.txt has to goto UK folder only

there u can specify directory name/file names
