RoboHelp Server Projects Not Displaying

I have installed a trial version of RHS7. Installation is
successfull. Compiled WebHelp Pro help project and published it to
RHS7. Message says published project successfull. I click on View
Projects and get the message: "Congrats. RHS7 successfully created
. . .Now you muist publish a project tot he server..." ???
Have tried calling support for 1 week but no resources to
help. I have been on hold this week for over 7 hours waiting for
help. Can someone please offer some assistance.

Just to clarify your setup. When you say "Project pane" are
you referring to the Configuration Manager on the server itself.
Or, are you referring to something you are seeing from the RoboHelp
authoring client app's Server Administration pane?
If you have access to the actual server desktop and view the
Configuration Manager, sometimes on a new installation, you can do
a "refresh" and the project will show up.
A few more questions:
Have you tried accessing the website and does the project
come up in the web browser?
On what kind of web server did you install RHS7? Windows
2003, etc.?
Is Microsoft Indexing Services turned on?
Apparently you were able to successfully publish your project
to the server so there is "communication" between your desktop and
the server I gather.
A few more details and we'll try to help.

RoboHelp Server 8 Not Displaying All TOCs When Going through the Engine

Hello,
We recently upgraded from X5 to X8 and imported and converted our X5 project to X8 without any problems. After our conversion, we are having TOC issues.
Here is our issue. Not all of our TOCs are displaying when we veiw our project through the engine, but if we view the project directly (without) going through the engine all of our TOCs display correctly. I've tried creating a new TOC and checking the Copy existing Table of Content box and deleting the old TOC and that did not work. I removed the following characters in the TOC (&, <, >,) and that did not work. I also tried deleting a book with topic pages within the book and re-creating the book and adding the topic pages in the book and no solution. It seems like i've tried everything to resolve our issue and nothing has worked so far.Our books have topic pages linked to it.
I've searched the forums and i have not seen anyone else with the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Report deployed to new server does not display static image

Hi,
We have several web sites on a server running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, SP1, 64-bit. It has installed .NET Framework 4 Client Profile and Extended, ver. 4.0.30319 (according to Control Panel->Programs, as well as c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework). Two of the sites use many Crystal Reports, most of which include a static image as a logo. This image is embedded in each report; there is no stand-alone image file that gets deployed.
Recently, we migrated to a new server, running the same version of Windows & .NET Framework. As near as we can tell, the 2 servers are nearly identical, as far as configuration and permissions, etc. One notable exception is the DefaultAppPool, which is Classic on the original server and Integrated on the new. (When I changed the new server to Classic, the apps failed to run properly.) The other exception is the old server is on a stand-alone box, while the new server is a virtual machine.
For one of the apps on the new server, the embedded logo images are not displaying on the page. Instead, there is a little red X with the word "Image". For the other app on the new server, the reports display fine. Furthermore, if I copy one of the "broken" rpt files from the "broken" app to the "good" app, the report displays correctly! And of course, the same file displays correctly in all circumstances on the old server.
This suggests to me that there is not a problem with the report file, per se', but rather with the environment to which it is deployed. Permissions? If so, where?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Server Admin not displaying groups correctly

Server 10.5.8, Mac Pro 4 core 2.66, 56 GB RAM.
Had a crash yesterday, all back to normal now except:
Server Admin's "show users and groups" is not displaying groups correctly" "users" is missng, and any new groups I created in WM are missing. Even if I sort by GID, they don't show up. And yet, if I type "staff" in the search bar, it shows up with GID 20. Also shared folders are showing up as groups

Surely someone can at least point me in the right direction? I tried rebuilding the LDAP database, but that didn't fix it.

Robohelp flash content not displaying

Hello,
Im having an issue I was hoping someone would be able to help
me with.
We developed a flash file using Robohelp 5.0x which we are
using on our webpage on one of our servers. The web page displays
fine when opened on the server, however when we try and display the
webpage on another machine, the page shows up, but the flash
content does not. So far we cannot find any configuration issues on
the server (it also hosts other sites which also use flash and they
show up fine) that would cause the issue, so we are thinking it may
be a Robohelp issue. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Multi-day events from Exchange server do not display well

I am an MD who works in different clinical areas on different weeks. I use Outlook and an Exchange Server (2007) to keep my scheduled. I will create a multiple day (all day) event to know that on a certain week I am in the ICU (for example.) On Exchange/Outlook this would look like:
Subject: ICU-1
Start time: Fri 2010-10-08
End time: Fri 2010-10-15
All day event: yes
Category: [Clinical]
I have my Exchange account set-up on the iPhone, but this will show up on the iPhone as:
ICU-1
from 12 AM Fri, Oct 8, 2010
to 12 AM Sat, Oct 16, 2010
If you edit the time, the All-day toggle is off
Who cares, right? The problem is that in List view (which is how I like to see my "agenda") this even will only show up on Fri, Oct.8! If I want to see what I'm doing on Sat, Oct. 9 - in list view it will appear as though I have no "clinical" work scheduled! Day view will also look funny, because the event will display as being busy from 12:00 AM until 12:00 AM next day - this makes it hard to see meetings scheduled at the same time.
If I edit the event in the iPhone by turning on the All-day toggle and changing the end day (from Sat to Friday) - this works fine on the iPhone and Outlook/Exchange - problem is I lose the category, and I have to manually edit every clinical week in my calendar!
Any suggestions?

I have notes that if I use the month view, the multiday event appears correctly as an all day event in each day of the agenda under the monthly calendar. The error seems to be isolated to the list view.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Images in Engage Interaction inserted into CP4 project not displaying....

Hi all
If ANYONE has an idea on this one, please let me know. I've already spent days trying to fix this issue with no result!!
I have a CP4 project, in which I am inserting an Articulate Engage interaction (interaction type = Process). Within the Process interaction, I have images. I have trawled forums and found out there is a recommended max image size (200 px x 310 px) and image type (jpeg or png) and I have also discovered that Process interactions prefer that images be aligned to either the left or the right, and not top or bottom. Done all that.
I also already know how to insert Articulate Engage interactions into CP4 projects - done that many times before. It's fiddly, but once you know how to do it, it's ok.
My problem is that when the CP4 project is published, the CP project plays perfectly, the Engage interaction displays as it should, each part of the Process interaction is visible and active, BUT THE IMAGES WON'T DISPLAY.
When I publish the Engage interaction (prior to inserting the engage.swf into CP4 as an animation) it plays perfectly, and the images display. When I view all the associated folders with the published Engage interaction, the images I've inserted are all there.
I cannot for the life of me work out what is going on. I have even re-created the Engage interaction from scratch, thinking it might have been corrupted somehow.
DON'T know what to try next.
Does anyone have any ideas????

in between the browser and viewer panes is a little search box ... click in it to change ... or if there is an 'x' in click it ... somehow you set a filter on that project ...

RoboHelp 9 Favicon not displaying in Internet Explorer 8

I'm using RoboHelp 9 and am unable to get my favicon.ico file to display in Internet Explorer 8. It works fine in Firefox and Chrome but not in ie.
I've also tried messing around w/ the whstart.ico file in template_skin directory as w/ RH 8, but that doesn't work either.
Anyone else experiencing this or know of a solution?

Content Server Portlets Not Displaying

Help!
We're running Portal v5.04, Java under Windows, Content Server v6.0, Tomcat v4.1.31. Multi-machine installation...
After logging into the portal as Administrator (or some user with admin privileges), we get an error where the Content Server Administration portlet is placed saying "Content Administration cannot be displayed due to an unknown error.". Get the same thing with any other Content Portlet...
This installation was fine beginning of last week, but started showing this problem late in the week. All of the diags I know of for testing Content, Collab, and Studio (all installed on the same server) show all greens. Tried looking at logs - nothing. Tried PTSpy during login (portlet is on "My Home" page - should display automatically) - nothing remarkable.
We have multiple admins, and it's possible that something was changed (unbeknownst to me). Frustrated and not sure even where to start looking for a solution to this. Any Ideas?

The fact that bouncing EBS fixes the issue temporarily indicates that the problem is most likely on the EBS end, but we haven't encountered that specific issue. What OS are you using to host EBS? Are you purging the J2EE cache when you bounce the services?
Feel free to reach out to Anne or myself if you'd like to dive into this. We could test with an alternate content server to see if that helps isolate the problem.

IMovie project not displayed in iMovie, won't open from finder

My iMovie project is no longer displayed in iMovie. I can still find it in the finder, however it is not opening...

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
First of all, are running you have any third party apps that change your system appearance?
If so, try removing them from login items (see below).
Then, create a new account, name it "test" and see how your apps work in that User acct? (That will tell if your problem is systemwide or limited to your User acct.) This account is just for test, do nothing further with it.
Open System Preferences >> Accounts >> "+" make it an admin account.
If the problem is present in the test account also, then it is systemwide. In this case try repairing this with the 10.5.2 Combo Update This is a fuller install, as opposed to an incremental "delta" update so it should overwrite any files that are damaged or missing. It does not matter if you have applied it before.
(Note: If you are running build 9C7010 do not install the Update.)
Remember to Verify Disk before update and repair permissions after update from /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.
If the problem does not appear in the test account try starting in "Safe Mode" (It will take a bit more time to startup because it runs a directory check first).
If that works go to System Preferences >> Accounts >> Login Items and remove them. Boot normally and test. If there are still problems, go to ~(yourHome)/Library/Contextual Menu Items and move whatever is there to the desktop. Then do the same with /Library/Contextual Menu Items. Lastly, try moving /Users/Home)/Library/Fonts to your desktop and restarting.
Log out/in or restart, if that sorts it start putting items back one at a time until you find the culprit.

Mail connects to POP server but not displaying email

my mail has worked for months setup to our server with a POP email account, as of two days ago mail stopped displaying new emails. Mail and the mac is connected to the server, i have also run the connection doctor and its says it is connected to the server.
I have deleted the account and re-set it up now it wont even draw down any of the old emails on the server let alone new emails.
mac osx 10.6.7 and mail 4.5 on mac book pro i7 15"
Anyone else had this?? Any advice?? thanks

his can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup

Projects not displayed?

We've used Imovie for a year with no problems.
Suddenly, after we had done Share > Export Movie, Imovie does not appear to finish loading. When launching imovie, the events are displayed and the video clips from a selected event are displayed, but the projects never appear. The rotating wheel of white bars stops rotating but remains visible as if it hasn't finished.
Even if I create a new project it does not appear in the imovie projects window.
The old projects can be seen in the imovie library using Finder, but new projects do not appear.
We've rebooted, tried to re-installed imovie by installing from DVD the bundled software (- but we're pretty sure this doesn't work.) We are using Imovie 08 version 7.1.4 (585).
Any ideas please??!

Livetype project not displaying properly in FCP

I have a LiveType file imported in FCP, but only one of the two effects is showing when I place it in the timeline. The view shows both effects correctly, but in the timeline only one.
Any ideas?

Nope it wasn't that - I figured it out though...it was just that I'd not set the project to render the background (which was just black) and so the alpha wasn't showing in FCP. It works now.

Jain-sip-proxy server does not display in browser

I have downloaded the codes for JAin-sip-Proxy Server, Jain-sip-applet-phone.my problems are:-
1. I have downloaded all libraries and don't find any error in boiuding the code, but when I deploy using Sailfin it just display Hello World in browser- where else the
Netbeans Ide tells me deployment was successful.
2. When I use Tomcat 6.26 Server, the browser just displays JavaFaces(Welcoming page of jsp framework)
I can't see both the server site and the applet phone. My O.S is Windows 7
(I have followed all instructions in setup including in control panels->Java Plug in)
thanx. Can someone help me implementing this two codes( I downloaded them form NIST JAIN SIP WEB SIT)
