RoomExtension: Room manipulation (parameters) not persistent

Hi Folks,
im going crazy with RoomExtensions.
(ExtensionPoint: ON_CREATE_ROOM)
I get the actual Room via the IRoomInfoReader.
If I change for example the description - everything is fine. (I enter the room - and the description is changed)
BUT: If I add parameters (via IRoom.addParameter()) - I see the changes in the extension afterwards, but its not persistent. When I enter the room, the parameters are gone. How can this be?

You are completely right, the exact name is addRoomParameter().
The code from the process method of my extension. As the logfile shows: The parameters are added (the result is always
true
and the
getAllParamsNames()
shows all parameters(in the extension).
But when I enter the room, the parameters are gone.
And it is definitely the same room - I double checked the room-ID.

  • User profile images not persisting after log off on Server 2012 R2 RDS Session Hosts

    Hi,
    We have a 2012 R2 remote desktop deployment, with two session collections, a gateway server, and connection broker.
    We have set these session collections to use centralised user profile disks.
    What I am having an issue with, is that when a user sets their profile image through the server they have logged on to (I have the desktop experience pack installed so they are able to do this), they can see the user tile has been set with that image in
    settings and also on the start menu, but as soon as they log off the server and back on, their profile image has been reset to the default blank image.
    I have checked all of my group policy options, and cannot find any settings that could be impacting this.
    Does anyone have any ideas why these images are not persisting for users or admins?

    Now, When I execute Index.jsp, it does not list values from database and when I click on Create User link, it takes me to adduser.jsp page. When I fill values in this page and click Save button, it takes me to Save Failed page and data does not persist to the database.
    WHAT IS WRONG OUT HERE ???

    If you set a breakpoint in your createUser method - does this code get executed?

    I am developing a JSF - EJB application and the data that I send from JSP Page through JSF Managed Bean --> Session Bean --> Java Persistence does not persist in database.
    Here is my scenario ( Iam using JDeveloper IDE to create this application) -
    SCENARIO START
    The scenario consists of two web pages, one enlisting all the users stored in the database, the other contains a form for adding a user

    If you set a breakpoint in your createUser method - does this code get executed?

    Have you noticed any difference between your MacBook and others at the Apple store? Wondering whether this is a configurable setting at the system level, i.e., DPI.
    You can default Firefox to a larger zoom level to avoid having to zoom every page. You'll still be able to adjust the size for individual sites as needed. It sounds as though you are aware of these add-ons:
    * Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/
    * NoSquint: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nosquint/
    There are some discussions about changing coming in Firefox 22 (I think) to address higher density displays like the Retina display. So perhaps there will be a built-in setting to address this in the future.

  • Online course progress is not persistent

    I'm doing the online course: Ref: WJB-110-SE6: Fundamentals of the Java(TM) Programming Language
    I have completed several sections of this course. It seems that progress entries are not persistent from the previous session (after a logout followed by a login).
    So, each time I log in, I have to start at the beginning again.

    Ah. I missed that. If you are using container managed transactions then you need to change from RESOURCE_LOCAL to JTA and set the target-server property. You also need a JTA datasource. Here's an example from http://wiki.eclipse.org/EclipseLink/Examples/JPA/WebLogic_Web_Tutorial#JTA_Datasource

    I have entity class "Author" it has OneToMany relationship with "Article" Entity.
    I want to create nbArticles in Author class, just is Long variable to get number of Articles created by this Author. That field is not persist just calculated from query, how can i define new field in Entity class without JPA manages persistance over it? Thanks.

  • Component parameters not showing

    Hi - I have a series of components I've written in AS3 that work fine in CS3 & CS4. In the Flash CS5 authoring environment, the parameters are not visible in the Component Parameters section of the Property Inspector. The really strange thing is that if I create a .fla in CS4 with the same components on the stage, and then open that doc in Flash CS5, the parameters are visible and work.
    Any ideas for how to fix this? What changed in CS5 to make them not work?
    Notes:
    I've rebuilt the .swc files in CS5 - doesn't fix it
    I created an .mxp file for the components and installed with Adobe Extension Manager CS5 - doesn't fix it
    The standard components that come with CS5 work fine
    My components work fine other than not being able to access the parameters
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I think there are several problems going on in the change from CS4 to CS5 with regard to components. But I did find a fix to the problem I had, which is that in components that I built myself, inspectable parameters that worked fine in CS4 did not show up in CS5 (note that parameters moved their location in CS5 - in CS4 they were visible in the Component Inspector panel, in CS5 they accessible in the Properties panel).My components still worked, and were visible in the Components panel, just no parameters.
    Here's the solution. When coding a component, you define your inspectable parameters in some code like this:

    Elsewhere in the code, you define your getter and setter functions:

    Based on the examples I had seen when I first started creating components, I put the definition right at the beginning of my class definition, and my getters/setters at the end. Well, in CS5, this approach does not work. To make inspectable parameters work, the definition and getter/setters functions must be together in the code! I put mine right at the end of the class.   • Parameters not found

    I am trying to remove a dbf file from a project programmatically and in the code have loaded 2 variables. I then call the procedure thus:
    Do mymanager.queryremovefile with var1, var2
    The set procedure command is in the environment set up
    The called procedure is in a program of collected procedures and reads thus:

    Parameters  var1, var2
    I get the error "parameters not found"
    Am I having a mental block here?

    What Bob says is also true. You can't DO a method in a class in a prg.
    The project hook also doesn't work this way and you don't call QueryRemoveFile at all, it's an event happening.
    You should have looked up, what a project hook class is.
    Go into the project info and then check "project class" and pick a class from a vcx. So all your code must be in a VCX class, not a prg.
    And then, if you remove a file from the project, the QueryRemoveFile event happens, you don't call it.

    Light Room 4 does not recognize my Raw Images (NEF) for my Nikon D810.  How do I correct this issue so that I can import NEF files into lightroom 4

    The D810 requires Lightroom 5.6 or newer. There is no way to import the NEF files into Lightroom 4. You can download the latest DNG converter and use it to create DNG copies that can be opened with Lightroom 4. Or, you can upgrade to Lightroom 5.
