Rosettanet mapping (PIP3A4)

I'm sending purchase order Idoc from R3 to XI and then to business partner who want's to receive the PO in a rosettanet format. I have imported the rosettanet XI additional content to the integration builder but I don't know how to map between the purchase order Idoc fields and the rosettanet PIP3A4 format?
Is the only way to get this information is to join rosettanet?

Hi Henri,
Did you check SAP Delivered cotent for this .Most of the time it is XSLT mapping used..

    hi,all
      who knows how to IDoc(ORDERS05) mapping PIP3A4A and tell me how to Implementing RosettaNet in XI?how to use RNIF send/receiver information.
    thanks.

    Hi Jun,
    There are 3 software components related to RosettaNet that are offered by SAP:
    ROSETTANET
    ROSETTANET CRM
    ROSETTANET ERP
    The component ROSETTANET contains mainly the definitions of the PIP's, while the components ROSETTANET ERP and ROSETTANET CRM
    contain (most importantly) the mappings against the respective SAP backend (CRM or ERP).
    If you look for complete support of PIP's including the mapping to the backend (IDoc or BAPI) you need to check which PIP's
    are supported in ROSETTANET CRM or ROSETTANET ERP. Here the document you find following the link in the SAP service
    marketplace is correct. As of today SAP offers mappings for the following PIP's:
    Ccschilla: PIP3A4
    PIP3A7
    PIP3A8
    PIP3A9
    PIP3B2
    PIP3C3
    PIP3C6
    If you are only interested in the PIP definition, you need to check the content of the component ROSETTANET (here you don't
    find the latest information on the service marketplace). In general, SAP is working on making all PIP's available in that
    component. If you are missing some PIP you can contact SAP, e.g. via this forum and the PIP's will be added and made
    available very soon.
    Currently you find the following PIP's:
    PIP2A12
    PIP3A1, 3A2, 3A4, 3A6, 3A7, 3A8, 3A9
    PIP3B2, 3B12, 3B13, 3B14
    PIP3C3, 3C4, 3C6
    PIP4A1, 4A5
    PIP5C1, 5C2, 5C3, 5C4
    PIP6C1, 6C2
    Also important to mention is that SAP works with some partners that also offer mappings for some PIP's, for example 3C4 and
    the PIP6C* series.

  • Rosettanet Buyer scenario on RNIF11 PIP3A4 version 2.00

    HI,
    We are setting up the PIP3A4 scenario ( SAP as a buyer ) with a partner. We have all the RosettaNet content imported. This content provides us with PIP3A4 V2_02 definition and R/3 mapping )
    However, our partner is not on version 2_02 but still on version PIP3A4 2_00.
    I have copied the standard content in an own SWVC and made an additional mapping step that will convert the version 2_02 into 2_00.
    I can do the same for the incoming confirmation message.
    I have some doubts however for signal messages (  receipt acknowledgement and receipt acknowledgement exception )
    -Are these handled fully internally in the adapter itself ? ( as I see no content related to inbound/outbound signals )
    -Are the signals ( e.g. receipt ack sent by the partner ) verified versus a schema/dtd file ?
    -If yes, then what version is used for this messages
    -Can we customize this versions as I will be receiving version 2_00 signals from partner and not version 2_02
    -If we upload a PIP3A4 from Rosettanet as an external definition for a version that is not available, should we then load into SWVC RosettaNet as well ? As there seems to be 'naming' restriction so that RNIF adapter will recognize PIP messages
    ( Now I did in my own SWVC )
    regards
    Dirk

    Hi Hannan,
    Rnif Ack also called technical signal is processed automatically, it does not require any interfaces or directory config. It is part of RNIF protocol.
    You can see in the Message Monitoring in Details tab of successfully send message if your partner send Receipt ACK. Last message in the log will tell you the status.
    There is nothing in the SXMB_MONI that indicates if Rnif ack was received or not.
    Regards

  • RosettaNet Implementation on XI

    Has anyone implmented RosettaNet scenarios in a productive environment on XI?  Would you be willing to talk about it?
    Is anyone currently in an implementation?  Would you be willing to talk about it?
    I'm looking to build a business case to move off of our current solution to XI 3.0 but having a hard time finding success stories.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!  -Erik

    Hi Erik,
    RNIF adapters support the data communication standard – RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF) defined by RosettaNet. This standard defines RNIF protocols version 1.1 and 2.0. The RNIF adapters 1.1 and 2.0 are based on these protocols.
    The adapters change the XI message format to the required RosettaNet message format. The adapters also change the format of messages from partner systems to the XI system.
    You use RNIF adapters to send messages between the Integration Server and a RosettaNet-compliant system.
    Please refer to the replay of following webinar on Know-how network calls that has live demo on how to configure the RNIF Adapter.

  • XI Rosettanet Adapater

    Hi,
    We are in the process of procuring XI and would appreciate help in the following areas.
    1) We currently have a Business Connectors set up for a B2B application configured for a DMZ + Firewall Landscape.
    Can the XI be used similar to the Business connector in this scenario?
    2) We are developing a RNIF based solution for one of our vendors. Does the XI version 3.0 come with a built in adapater for RNIF or is it an "add on"?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Suresh

    Dear Suresh-
    I can only comment on item 2:
    In addition to a "Business Package for RosettaNet", which supports Order to Invoice scenarios, like PIP3A4, 3B2, etc., XI 3.0 also has an SAP-built adapter which supports RNIF 2.0.  This may be come with your installation of XI depending on your licensing model.  You will need to check with your SAP account executive if you can access this adapter with your license.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Rosettanet PIPS download

    Hi All,
    I am working on interfacing between Rosettanet and XI and i need to do the mapings.
    I need to import these PIPS into XI to start mapping and would like to know where i can download them from.
    Below are the PIPS and version i need to download.
    Please suggest where we can downlod them from
    3B2 V0100
    3C6 V0100
    3C7 V0100
    4B2 V0100
    4B3 V0100

    Hi,
    You can download any rosetta net message formats from rosettanet.org only,refer below link,
    They are giving XSD,import this XSD as External Definition in XI and use it in mapping,but before check the XSD correct or not.

  • Rosettanet Self Test Kit and XI

    Hi,
    We have developed some Rosettanet scenarios and now recently installed the Rosettanet Self Test Kit.
    But we are finding it a bit confusing to link both XI and STK. How do we actually use the STK to test the scenarios with XI ?
    ShaBZ ~~

    I found this from one of the threads, a reply by Sam Raju;
    >>>>>>
    Part I. Test Using STK
    In your XI ID:
    1) Define both the parties 1) Shipper(Your Partner) 2) Receiver(Your company) with identifiers like DUNS Number.
    2) In ID goto>Tools>Transfer Integration Scenarios from IR-->select the scenario "PIP3B2_Receiver" from the drop down list.
    3) Follow the 4 steps in the config wizard.
    4) While creating your CC, create it from the channel template delivered with the RosettaNet BP.
    4.1) Specify the URL for STK which should be in the following format
    http://<STK Server>:<port>/rosettanet/servlet/listenerServlet?userId=<Party Name> <b>>> the server is my ip but then what is the port ? Also i am using the default user TesterA so is it the <Party Name></b>
    4.2)In the location fields, enter your location and your partner location. <b>>> your location and partner location -> can anybody elaborate ?</b>
    In your STK
    1) Start the RosettaNet STK.
    2) enter the UserID<Partner Name in XI>
    3) Select the Test Scenario, 3B2V01.01-AdvanceShipmentNotification-0001-Scenario-Shipper
    4) Enter Global Business ID(DUNS Number) and Location ID for both the partners. These fields should be same as in your R/3 Party configuration.
    5) Enter the URL as follows:
    http://<XI Server:<J2EE_Port>/MessagingSystem/receive/RNIFAdapter/RNIF
    If everything is configured correctly as mentioned, you should be able to test your single-action scenario.
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    We have developed scenarios for PIP3A4's and 3C3's in XI and need further help to test it.
  • RNIF rosettanet adapter - additional license costs??
    Hello All,
    I'd like to check whether any of you can let me know whether you have faced additional licence charges for using the the RNIF adapter (for Rosettanet).
    I understand that using the 'XI CONTENT FOR ROSETTANET' business package costs exta but we have no intention of using this - we just need to use the RNIF adapter.
    Please let me know if you are using this adapter.
    I saw the some old posts on thsi topic from 2004 but nothing since then so thought I would give it another try.
    Thanks
    Richard
    1. As far as your certificate related query is concerned, PI alone can very well handle this and no third party product is required. Your communication is XML based, therefore no need to use third party adapters. Seeburger is generally used for EDI communication.
    2. Yes, Rosettanet can solve your purpose.
    3. ebXML can be handled using standard PI adapter with some additional header information which can be achieved using mapping or adapter module. Otherwise you may use iWay adapter for ebXML communciation.
  • Passing Func ACK(Rosettanet/EDI) back to application
    Hi
    We are setting up Oracle B2B 11.1.1.7 to send and receive Rosettanet/EDI X12 documents including functional acks
    We have a requirement to auto generate outbound functional ack(997) for EDI and Receipt acks(3A4c and 3A8c) for Rosettanet inbound docs.I believe this can be addressed by setting below B2B config property  to true
    Functional Ack handled automatically = true
    We also need to configure B2B pass Acks back to application.Can we achieve this by making below properties to true?
    Notify Inbound Functional Acks
    Notify Inbound Receipt Acks
    Thanks,
    Praveen
    Hi Ramesh,
    I case of exception in Inbound Request/Response, Oracle B2B will trigger a NAck but it could be sent only when B2B has sufficient information about the TP in the failed message. For more information please go through -
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/b2b/pdf/B2B_TN_007_Exception_Handling.pdf
    Acknowledgement(positive) is sent only for the successfully received messages, so in case of exception there is no need of inbound data to be stored in IDC for mapping.
    As far as I know, if validation itself fails then B2B will not be able to send a negative acknowledgement to TP as TP identification happens after the validation. You may like to monitor such exceptions using the BAM monitoring.
  • Rosettanet PIP4B2 (NotifyOfShipmentReceipt) - Doubt
    HI All,
    I have got a requirment of B2B inbound scenario "Notify Shipment Receipt" using Rosettanet Framework.
    I found PIP4B2 is the correct PIP for "NotifyOfShipmentReceipt"
    But Im not very sure whether SAP has delivered standard solution for PIP4B2 based scenarios. i checked in sdn SAP has provided standard solutions for only PIP 3 series .. ex. PIP3A4, PIP3B2 etc
    Please tell me if SAP has provided standarad solution for PIP4B2 also.
    If there is no standadrd solution provided by SAP, then can i create a scenario in PI using the standadrd PIP4B2 ?
    Regards,
    Rajesh
  • 3A4 PIP and ORDERS05 mapping
    I have rosettanet 3A4 PIP and ORDERS05 IDOC, I am using file adapter to read 3A4 PIP xml and send to R3 using idoc adapter till I configure and see I can use RNIF for 3A4.
    Does any one have a general 3A4 - ORDERS05 mapping available. I am having hard time in mapping 3A4 elements to ORDERSO5 idoc elements (they are Deutsch to me ). I used ORDERS05 documentation and still seeing challenges.
    For example, I have GlobalBusinessIdentifier and GlobalLocationidentifer,ProprietyDocumentIdentifer. I am not sure how the fromRole segment maps to what segement in ORDERS05
    Any help is appreciated.
    thanks
    HI,
    Sorry Pal.
    I have a file which one of my friends used at his site. Please give me your email ID, will send the document to you.
    It has no XML but has all the details like what to be mapped to what.
    It may be of use to you.
    Good Luck,
