Routing my weekend calls thru BT ??

Hi folks.
Due to such terrible dealings when trying to renew my BT contract i moved over to Sky for my Broadband & Unlimited calls but maintained BT Line Rental with Unlimited Weekend (free) so can have caller ID.
My question is, how can i route my weekend calls thru BT so as i can avoid being charged for caller ID ??
* Customers who do not make some chargeable calls with BT will be charged for BT Caller Display. Customers with other call providers can still benefit from BT Caller Display at no extra cost if the following calls are made. Customers who are billed monthly must make at least two chargeable calls with BT in that month, otherwise BT reserves the right to charge £2.70 a month for BT Caller Display. Customers who are billed every three months must make at least six chargeable calls within those three months, otherwise BT reserves the right to charge £8.10 a quarter."

You cannot make CHARGEABLE calls through BT if your call package is handled by Sky.
If you have 1 line and you pay BT ( the line rental) and you pay Sky for Broadband and Calls, but no Line rental, then all your calls are chargeable to your Sky account, taking into account any weekend/anytime unlimited package you have with Sky
I have just noticed that you say that Sky are handling your calls, yet you also say that you have a
BT Line Rental with Unlimited Weekend (free). I think that you have got that wrong.
You cannot have a 5 day weekday call package with Sky and a 2 day weekend call package with BT

I've just started out with developing for cell phones and I have a question. Is it possible to like, route an outgoing call to another destination? The scenario is when you make a phonecall with your cell phone, it should instead call the company PBX, and the PBX sets up the call to the phonecall on the other end. It's done for cost effectiveness of course. I'm not asking HOW it's done, merely if it's possible to do like this?

I'm considering moving over to BT onto their:
Unlimited Broadband, and Evening & Weekend Calls for £25 per month.
Is this service truley unlimited? i.e. no caps on the total amount of downloads and no throttling / caps on the lines speed?

During peak times the download speed may decrease as more people come online. Your connection speed will remain the same.
Actual connection speed depends on the quality of your phone line, and your own internal wiring.

I Tried Everything I Even Restarted My Settings Just So I Can See if That Would Work Because Someone Sujested It But What They Neglected To Say That Their Probrolem Was With A Ipad ? Anywho To Keep It Short I Went Online Logged A Complaint With Apple Made A Appointment With A Apple Store In My Area To Take The Phone There After Trying Everything (Resetting, changing setting etc..........) Nothin Worked Upon Taking The Phone To The Store They Swapped Out My Phone For A New One Volume On New Phone Is Perfect And I Only Had To Wait 40 Minutes

Getting an exit value from a program called thru a shell script

how do i get the correct exit value always from a program called thru a shell script
the getExitValue of the process works fine someitmes but not always ...
Ex: write a pgm which sleeps for 5 secs & returns with exit(100).try to invoke this thru a script & try to run this script from Runtime.getRuntime.exec(..)
...the exit value is not same as 100.(it works if the sleep is not given though !!)
can nebody help??

Unlimtied evening & weekend calls

Hi,
I've been on the unlimited evening & weekend calls plan for quite a while now & I always get billed for calls I make in the evenings on weekdays, weekend calls on the other hand are free, shouldn't the weekday evening calls be free as well, they are to uk landline numbers after all, just like the weekend calls I make.

Sounds like you might be on the Unlimited Weekend Plan, log into your online account to check.

Downgrading Evening & weekend calls.....

Hi, I can't find a way to change my Evening & weekend calls package to just weekend calls. I have BB & Calls package for £18.00 a month which has the Calling Plan "Unlimited Weekend Calls" included so I don't really see the need for "Unlimited Evening and Weekend Calls Add-on" for £2.00 a month. Do I have to phone Hades to downgrade this? Cheers.
EDIT: If I can downgrade please tell me it wouldn't involve a NEW 12 month contract!

imjolly thanks, I found it under MYBT>YOUR PHONE PACKAGE. I was looking in the wrong place....again, just a bit worried as I now have the standard "Thanks for choosing BT"/"Thanks for your Order" email and I really cannot handle another 12months of BT, just waiting for the price increase email now. Once again thanks.

Evening & Weekend calls changing?

Is it true that BT are changing the free Evening and weekend call period for 6pm-6am to 7pm to 7am?
When does this actually start?
If so are BT breaking their contract with people who have signed up when these were different and why can not people charge BT for the changes the same way BT rip people off to get out of contracts.
If you make most of your calls between 6 and 7pm, then this will make a big difference andf you should be able to cancel weven if you have time left? Anyone tried this and succeeded? I will be leaving BT due to the way they renew contracts without telling you, but chaging the terms and conditions are wrong!

I have just found out that I should have received a letter from BT that, if replied to would have cancelled the evening & weekend calls contract. strange, this letter never arrived, just like the letter about auto renewing my contract. Anything that seems to benefit teh customer, never arrives!.
I have been in touch with BT 4 times over the past 6 weeks and NOT once has this been mentioned. Told today that the cancellation period has ended on 13/13/10, yet agin BT screw the customer every which way they can.
Why not send this via email and place a note on the website, can't do that people might see it and cancel it
BT can stick their contracts, BB and telephone where the sun don't shine

Unlimited weekend call charges

Hi, can any one tell me hoe calls are charged on the unlimited weekend call plan. I know calls are free for 60 minutes but if you talk for 68 minutes, do you get charged for 8 minutes or 68 minutes? thank you

BT Free Evening & Weekend Calls

Hi there, I am currently about to take my broadband with another provider and have my BT line with free evening and weekend calling plan (already got). The broadband provider also offers free evening and weekend calls as part of their package, so if I were to take this what would happen to my calls, who would actually provide them etc?

Hi jamesl and welcome
If you're only going elsewhere for BB, then the calls with still be with BT
If you're moving both services (BB & phone) to another supplier, then this new supplier will provide the service.
Regarding any charges, if you're still tied in to a phone contract - you'd need to check this - dial 150 (free) from a BT landline, if you are in contract, then there will be early cancellation charge.
(likewise for the BB....)
I don't think there is a charge from BT if you're contract free, but the other supplier may have connection charges - best to read ALL the smallprint.

I am an existing customer and looking to take out the TV, Broadband and Calls offer with line rental. This comes with unlimited weekend calls. Can I then also then add-on unlimited evening calls as well at £2.99 a month?

Unlimited Weekend Calls issue

Hi there,
I've had the unlimited weekend calls package for a while but haven't really been using the phoneline. Do I get charged extra if I don't make a certain amount of calls per month?

In the Ts&Cs it states 6 calls a quarter. So maybe you are right I haven't heard of that before though.

£30 Connection Offer: Customers who require a new line will benefit from a £100 discount on the standard line connection charge of £130. Customers who are benefiting from this offer are not eligible for Line Rental Saver and must agree to an 18 month contract (applies to the Unlimited Weekend Plan or the Unlimited Anytime Plan). Minimum call commitment also applies – you must make at least 10 chargeable or inclusive calls per month (30 calls per quarter). You'll need to pay a charge of £5.15 for every month (if you are billed monthly) or £15.45 for every quarter (if you're billed quarterly) in which you don't make these calls, as compensation for not making the minimum number of calls required. I can't add a DN to a CTI route point on Call manager due to...

I'm trying to add a DN to a CTI route point which routes to Unity directly. This allows me to have a voicemail box be reachable that is not tied to a phone. So I can dial XXXX and leave a message for this person directly. The reason we have this setup is because 2 people share a phone and we have a call handler on the phone extension to route messages to person 1 or person 2 by pushing 1 or 2 if know one picks up the phone. The caller then obviously can leave the private message for person 1 or person 2 depending on who they wanted to talk to. I have the CTI route point up and running, and it works for 2 DNs that are set up on it. I'm adding a 3rd and 4th DN to this route point.
The error message I receive says:
"Add failed. Sum of device's line appearance values for maxNumCalls exceed device limitation". On the Multiple Call/Call Waiting Settings on Device ROUTE_TO_VM section(the name I gave the CTI ROUTE POINT) I keep changing the Max number of calls to 1 and busy trigger to 1 to see if this resolves it but it does not. I had to do this on the other DNs tied to this route point and that fixed the issue. This time it will not let me.
Any ideas?

Do you mean I should be adding a new separate CTI Route Point for each DN? I didn't think I had to because we have a separate one called FORWARDtoUnity and there 4 DNs tied to this one and underneath association information, it says "Line {5} - Add a new DN"...so it seems I can keep adding more. (Unless there is a limit of DNs per route point). So since this one has 4 DNs, I thought I could have 4 DNs on this new route point I created. I was wondering if I'm missing a step somewhere.

It is possible to get a response of a asynchronous RFC call thru wait loop

The requirement is that i queue up all the requests from a web services ( One queue per plant for example) which i set in the HTTP sender URL ( i mean the queue name ). and i am posting the records thru a RFC call.
1. Let the RFC call be synchronous and in case the R/3 system is done.. Will the XI queue keep the Call and keep on retrying it till the R/3 system is up.
2. Otherwise if the RFC call be asynchronous, is it possible to introduce a wait loop in BPM to listen to the RFC till i get some response ( i think this is not possible).
Need your suggestion on the same...
The requirement demands that no single request from the web service should be lost.. in case of failure of R/3 they should be queued up and re tried.. Forget about the error because of exception in RFC this will be taken care manually..

you can queue and restart only asynchronous messages. I think you can build a Business Process, where you repeat sending a message til you have success or maximum number of tries is reached. But no good idea, coz you will get timeout at HTTP sender. Aynchronous messages dont have a response.
May be, XI can solve your task in the standard: In transaction SMQR you can just configure what you describe. All asynchronous messages will be queued and restartet in case of receiver not reachable. You can configure no of retries and intervall between.

10g Report not running from Forms if called thru paramform on other domain

Hi...
I'm using Dev10g Rel.2....If I call a report with paramform=no and pass it a value from forms then report runs well. but if I call report thru parameter form and pass value from parameter form the report doesn't run with error:
The webpage cannot be displayed.
Interesting fact is that If I call the report from a client on same domain as that of Application Server then it runs even thru paramform. I've also entered the application server I.P and name on other domain's client but no way. Can u guess whats the problem there???

It sounds like a Firewall permissions issue to me. You might want to have your Firewall admin watch the firewall as you run your form to see if the packets are getting intercepted and blocked.
