RSTRAN_DUPREC_CHECK_OFF functionality of programm.

hi
please let me know of functionality about RSTRAN_DUPREC_CHECK_OFF program.
Regards,
KRishna.

Hi Rama,
Refer to technical background section for SAP note
1851875 - Consulting:DTP load terminates with error 'Package contains duplicate entries' in transformation processing in HANA DB
Due to missing duplicate check records in SAP HANA, there were issues in implementing end routine or expert routein.
SAP has suggested a workaround to fix up this issue using report
'SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN' with Object = ' RSTRAN_DUPREC_CHECK_OFF' and Value = 'X' with the Insert option.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Deepak Kori

    Hi,
I write my Bachelor Thesis over a PDA Application where I´ve create with LabVIEW PDA.
Before I could use the LabVIEW PDA I must install few programms.
    1)VisualStudio 2005 Standard
    2)Visual Studio 2005 Command Shell
3)Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK for Pocket PC
    4)eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0
    5)eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 SP 4
Anybody knows what functions this Programms have? I don't need it for the whole time.
    Thanks for your answer

The way I understand it (I don't have any official knowledge, and I wouldn't mind hearing an explanation either), LV PDA converts its code into C code and then uses eVC to compile the code for the PDA. I assume you're using LV 8.0 because Visual Studio wasn't required in previous versions. Maybe it's also needed now in order to compile the code.

    Hi Masa,
    Thanks for your reply.
We are using Assets with the integration of Project systems. We are now in 4.6C R/3 & SRM 5.0 system. And now R/3 upgrade and SRM upgrade going on smultaniously to ECC6.0 and SRM 7.0 respectively.
I would like to know any new functionality available in the latest upgrades and we have done lot of customization for Asset Procurement. And would like to go with Vanilla.
Can you please provide me some inputs about the Project (WBS element ) based Asset Procurement in SRM as standard.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Are you a Functional ABAPer?

    Hi folks,
I started my career in informatics as a COBOL / mainframe programmer way back when the u2018Big Blueu2019 was the order of the day (it feels like as if it was a thousand years ago). Anyhow, as these legacy systems are on the verge of extinction, I decided to get into ABAP, thinking I can bank on my programming background. But it seems to me that the majority of the enterprises expect an u2018ABAPeru2019 to have instantaneous knowledge of any and all of their SAP modules, no matter what business they are in. God forbid if you say: Hey listen, Iu2019m a programmer and not a functional analyst and donu2019t know much about such and such area or so and so functionality. It is then that eyebrows are raised, eyes would start rolling and rumors would spread as to how unfunctional or better say dysfunctional you are!
Are u2018ABAPersu2019 supposed to be multiple Functional analysts, programmer(s), etc, all in one package? I mean, is this one of those: u201CBuy one, get many others for freeu201D deals? If that is the case, where do functional analysts come into play? Or am totally off base here and have lost it altogether?
I am just curious, how many u2018ABAPersu2019 have had the same experience and how did you remedy the situation, cause I am at my ropeu2019s end.
    Yours truly
    Unfunctional ABAPer

Ardavan, I saw your thread but haven't had a chance to reply until today. Even though you have closed it as 'answered', hopefully it's OK if I still add my 2 cents.
There are many similarities with my own situation. I too came to ABAP world from the mainframe background.  Currently I'm actively searching for a new job and, just as you, I'm sometimes confused (if not disturbed) by what the employers are expecting from the ABAP developers.
I think it's safe to say that even an ABAP beginner would have some experience in at least one module. Naturally, an ABAPer cannot be expected to know as much as a functional expert. Basic familiarity with the tables (which may be found "on the netz"), document/process flow, basic terms (in "sapanese"), any ABAP related peculiarities (e.g. funky user exits and routines in SD) should be enough and this may be mastered in a month or so.
Also many modules "cross paths" frequently, so there is a good chance you in fact have more exposure than you think. E.g. SD frequently comes together with MM and FI. But what confuses me most is when the employers are looking for an ABAP developer with experience in HR, FI, PP, MM, WM topped with BI, XI, Web Dynpro and Java.
Why do employers do this? Well, for one - because with 10% unemployment they can. There are actually quite a few ABAPers out there (Otto? ) that might fit the description above. (Whether they'll be willing to work for this company at this location/salary - is another question.) Second, some companies really do have small SAP teams and one person might need to deal with many different things. This is rather an exception though and such companies might be more willing to consider someone who doesn't have everything on their "menu". Third, well, some companies just have poor talent management skills. They develop a unrealistic job description and then complain that they can't fill the position for months and all candidates are "unqualified". From my experience, these companies frequently end up either adjusting their expectations or happily hiring someone with a made-up resume.
    (to be continued...)

  • ERROR in Invoice posting  from XI to SRM in MM-SUS plan driven procurement

    Hi
We are implementing MM-SUS plan driven procurement scenario. MM version is 4.7. we are using Z-Program to trigger Invoice i-doc from MM to XI. its reaching XI but from XI to SRM there is some error.
    the error is DYNAMIC_CALL_FAILURE
Function call failed; could not find the function BBP_PD_SUSIV_GETLIST Programm: SAPLBBP_BD_DRIVER_SAPXML1; Include: LBBP_BD_DRIVER_SAPXML1U20; Line: 63
    any help is appericiated.
    Thanks,
    Arvind

    Hi Arvind,
From Xi to SRM, by the looks of it, you are calling a BAPI. Can you specify how is your scenario configured ?
If it is a BAPI, can you also try to test it(on the SRM box itself) from the Function Module test tool?
Pls let us know the results/details.
    cheers

  • Missing PO in 2lis_02_itm init extraction / setup tables

    Hello Gurus,
could anyone please help me out with this toppic:
I want to extract Purchase Orders to BW via DS 2lis_02_itm. Source System is R/3 4.6c. Filling up the setup tables is working. My problem is, that there are several Purchase Orders which are not filled in the setup tables (so no extraction to bw)! I have checked these PO and for me they seem fine. I can´t find any reason why they aren´t extracted. Of course i am running all programms whithout any restrictions. I have debugged the programm rmceneua with one specific po which is not extracted but can not find a reason why it is not written to table MC02M_SETUP.
Did i miss some customizing settings? Are there some kind of PO which are not extracted because of there PO Type (ZCO/ZB) do they eventually have a wrong status?
I can not find any information about the functionality of programm rmceneua. Maybe you can help me out of this?
    Thanks a lot

Did you check whether the process key is maintained properly?

  • How to trigger MDM Workflow  from ABAP Program.

    HI
I have requriment  to trigger MDM Workflow(Design in MDM) from My Module pool program. Suggest how to do it?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Shyam Babu Sah.

    Hi,
This question is for forum SAP Netweaver --> Workflow. There are functions and programmes that SAP delivers for this.
[Example here|Re: How can I trigger workflow from my report]

  • How java communicate with c++ (experts please take a look)

I encounter problems in my new project.
My client uses websphere as their app server and put ejb on it. They are now trying to introduce an image server on another machine to deal with image processing function. The image server provides some visual c++ lib calls and functions for programmer to work for, but it doesn't support java. So my client now asking me to write some java package for the websphere which hidden all c++'s works and call the image server to work(the 2 servers is distributed).
I start investigation from JNI at first. however, I found that JNI needs customizes the C++ code and of course i won't have it. So I give up this. Then, I start thinking to put a layer on the C++, and then use JNI to deal with this c++ layer. These steps I think should be on image server. So the next step is use RMI or Corba to communicate the websphere and image server, right??
I dont know whether this can be work or not, but I feel its to complex. I then think whether I can directly access the c++ file on the image server if I just know the image server's dll or function. I even dont know whether the image server have COM or support corba...
Can expertists give me some suggestions or reference!?
    Thx a lots!!

    So many topics.
Someone has suggested 'swig' in the past. (That is not the same as swing). It produces a interface layer (java) from another layer (like C++.) The url is http://www.swig.org/.
You need to provide a communication layer. You can either use RMI or sockets. I wouldn't suggest corba unless you are already familar with it and have a server.
JNI use C as the inteface layer not C++. You can use the standard tricks to use C++. The JNI javah stuff already supports this as it supplies macros which resolve to extern "C" declarations. If that doesn't mean anything to you then just ignore it. But keep in mind that C++ methods can NOT be used as native methods, although they can be used by those methods.

    Hi,
We have configured the SAP for Plan Driven Procurement. We have SRM 5.5 version installed along with XI 7.0 and MM 4.7.
The scenario is to send the invoice from MM to SUS (SRM) via XI. We have created a ZNAST program to send the invoice from MM to SUS via XI. The invoice is moving from MM to XI and XI to SUS where it fails due to this error.
We have used OOTB scenarios and have not done any customizations as well.

  • Quick Viewer share to all users

    Hi,
I have 2 questions on Quick Viewer.
    1. How can I access other people developed query? I cant access even though it has been developed by some other person.
    2. How can I share the access with others if the query is not intended to access public?
    >> From quick viewer as starting point ...
    Thanks.
    Marks will be rewarded.

@1:    - go to transaction SQ02 -> Settings: tick the checkbox DISPLAY SYSTEM OBJECTS
             - then go back to SQ01, now you have in the STANDARD AREA  user groups with the quickviews of
                each user
@2:    use in SQVI the menu quickview -> additioal functions-> generate programm and display program name and make a transaktion out of the generated program
    regards

  • Preview Application Resizing Problem

    Preview Application Resizing Problem
Microsoft platforms have two significant advantages. The first is the concept of an operating system that can function with hardware that ranges from cellular phones to desktop computers. The second is that Microsoft has excellent software development tools
for creating and testing computer programs.
Software compatibility across hardware platforms requires not only meeting CPU and memory requirements. Application programs must be able to automatically adjust Window and control sizes to meet the needs of available window sizes, video display unit sizes
and screen resolutions, switching between vertical and horizontal viewing, vertical and horizontal scrolling, changes in font sizes , and variations in the available screen space due to usage of vertical and horizontal toolbars.
Software developers must be careful that resizing doesn’t squeeze controls too close together or make them so small that they cannot be finger or stylus selected when used with touch screens.
Some of the required automatic resizing options are provided by the Microsoft software compilers and the Windows operating system.  Softgroup Component’s “.NET  Forms Resize” is an example of one of the third party applications that provide advanced
    resizing functionality.
Many of the resizing functions are programmer options and, if not properly enabled, an application may not have the required resizing functionality. At the current state of the art, application programs are highly variable in their capability to do the “intelligent
resizing” that is required to handle different display environments.
A case in point is the Microsoft Preview Application for Windows 10. When entering lengthy comments, the send button becomes positioned off the end of the program window. It is possible to scroll to the button, but the display automatically resets when scroll
is released. The result is that the text cannot be sent. You can try a "blind" TAB to the SEND button. This appeared to work after several tries, but the comment was apparently not received,
