Run CVP updateapp.bat from outsite

Dear all,
When I write or modify a application on CVP studio, then I deploy it to CVP VXML server. The problem is that i need to remote desktop to CVP XML server to run the updateapp.bat.
Are there any way that I can run this file from outsite. Because I have a customer with a CVP studio also, this customer use the same our CVP VXML server.
I don't want to permit them to remote desktop to my CVP.
This is the code of this batch file:
@echo off
REM Copyright (c) 1999-2007 Cisco Systems, Inc
REM All rights reserved
SETLOCAL
for /f "delims=" %%j in ('cd') do set currDir=%%j
%CVP_HOME%\jre\bin\java -classpath "..\..\..\admin\admin.jar;..\..\..\lib\framework.jar" com.audium.client.admin.AppUpdate "%currDir%" %1 %2
ENDLOCAL
if not {%1} == {noconfirm} pause
Can i modify on it and run it from outsite?

David,
To use jconsole go to you java_home\bin run jconsole.exe choose remote process redio button.
Fill the value in textbox hostname or ip address of your CVP server and port(9696) like (localhost:9696) and press button connect, you will be connected(Username and password not required).
There you will get some option, goto in MBean>cisco vxml server>voice application and use whatever option you want.
Also wait for some time after pressing status or update button, it will take some time to show you result.
cheers

I completely uninstalled everything and then reinstalled, this time using

the SP2 that was the problem.

  • How to call CVP VXML Script from ICM

    Hi,
Please help me in the below  scenario-
    ICM-7.5
    CVP-7.0
I am trying to invoke  a CVP VXML Script from ICM.
Scenario is, I have made a small VXML script  in CVP & I want to invoke this script from ICM.
Needs specific parameter  to achieve the same.
Please help me to achieve the  above.
    Thanks,
    Manish

The VXML server comes with the 2 port evaluation licence and a working application called "HelloWorld". The first test you should make is to have ICM invoke "HelloWorld" - the spelling must be correct, case sensitive.
You can tell if the VXML Server can run the application by using your browser.
    http:// ADDRESS>:7000/CVP/Server?application=HelloWorld
should return a page of VXML. Check VXMLServer\admin\status.bat and it should show that one person is in the application HelloWorld.
    Then call http:// ADDRESS>:7000/CVP/Server?audium_action=hangup
will return the disconnect page of VXML data and drop the call, and now status should show no callers in the application.
    REgards,
    Geoff

    Hi,
Are you able to start the Standalone Agent(KANBAN) and test it in the Topology?
Check the value of the ODI_MASTER_URL variable in odiparams file(at the path <ODI_HOME>\oracledi\agent\bin) of the agent.
Specify the full the JDBC URL properly not like localhost(until the DB is on same machine as your ODI).

    Thanks

    This should work for you-
Create a batch file on your current server (ODI) and write in the path to the other batch file on the other server.
    //Server2completename/D$/Path/yourbatchfile.bat
From ODI call your batch file that you created on the same machine.. which will inturn call the other batch file on a different machine to execute batch client.
Also can you paste the errors that you may be getting.. need to check if you are getting any specific issue related to this.
    Thanks

    Hi Mario,
Did you run the config more than once? The error states the the connection pool already exists(A connection pool named 'bam_connection_pool' already exists.)
If this is the case, you will need to :
    1.Delete the existing unzipped directory.
    2.Unzip the zip files again.
3.Run soaconfig . (I suggest, to make a backup of the folder after this step, so that in case anything fails, you don't have to rerun soa-config.)
    4.Run bamconfig.

  • "VS_NEEDSNEWMETADATA" error while running a package created from C# code

I have gone through most of the answers for similar questions here however none has resolved the issue. We have created a package using C# code which stages data from a source table to destination (ChildPackage.dtsx).
    Source Table : RowKey, Col1, Col2
Destination Table : RowKey, Col1, Col2, RowID, RunID (RowID is an identity column in destination table and RunID is a derived column whose value is set using a variable)
This package runs fine when we execute it directly however, we run these packages from a master package (MasterPackage.dtsx). When we are trying to run the package (ChildPackage) from a MasterPackage we get an error:
[SSIS.Pipeline] Error: "Oledb Destination" failed validation and returned validation status "VS_NEEDSNEWMETADATA".
We have tried setting DelayValidation to true for the ChildPackage and even tried setting the values for "ValidateExternalMetadata" for the source and destination component as "False" for the data flow task
    of the ChildPackage.
There is no case difference between column names in source and destination and it runs fine when we run the ChildPackage directly.
The only additional task that the Master package performs is to generate and set a variable that is used as RunID value by the child package.
If we hardcode the RunID in the ChildPackage and run it directly, it runs fine.
The MasterPackage.dtsx is not created from code and has a step to run ChildPackage.dtsx. We generate the ChildPackage.dtsx from code and replace in original solution.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Gaurav Agarwal

Where then this RunID is consumed?
    Arthur My Blog
The RunID is set by the MasterPackage in a parameter, this parameter is used as value of derived column in the data transformation task of the ChildPackage.
As mentioned ChildPackage has a RunID column.

  • Urgent.....Error while running a jsp report from Jdeveloper

    Hi,
I am getting following error while running a jsp report from Jdeveloper. I am using version 10.1.2.1.0. The same report is working fine when I am running it from report builder. ( Both these tools were installed using Oracle Developer Suite 10g version 10.1.2). I did search in oracle discussion forums and google, but I could not arrive at a resolution of error. Any help in resolving this issue would be grateful.

  • Error while running the Discoverer report from the command line.

    Hi All,
I've to run a discoverer report from command line and export the results in xls/html on to my local machine. This report I've to run it as batch and scheduled it.
I have a parameterized worksheet and this has to be run from command line specifying the parameter value I wanted to run the report for. I do not get any results. Here is the command line I am using.
    dis51usr /connect user/password@database /opendb "TIMS-PCJ status Report" /sheet "TIMS observation status report (based on performed date)" /parameter "Test Number" '40351' /parameter "From Date" '05-MAY-2008' /parameter "To Date" '06-MAY-2008' /export HTML "C:\DISCOVERER_REPORT_SCHEDULING\DIS_OUTPUT\PCJStOutputinHTML123"
I even added the TO_DATE conversion for the parameters and also gave the format of the date as 'DD_MON_YYYY'.
Discoverer Desktop opened up, logged in and gets terminated saying 'Oracle Discoverer Desktop has encountered a problem and need to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.'
    Please anyone reply me.
    Regards & Thanks,
    P. Gayathri Devi

    Hi Gayathri,
Try changing your parameter names to be a single word. (Change "Test Number" to Test_Number).
Does the report run fine when run through Desktop for the same parameter values? Which version of Discoverer are you using?
    Thanks.

  • Running a crystal report from a local machine

HI guys i'm hoping someone can help me.
I have created a silverlight / asp WEB application that has a crystal report in visual studio 2010.
The problem i have is that i've deployed my website to a shared webhost that does not support crystal.
Until i find a webhost that supports the new version of crystal reports for VS 2010, is there a way i can allow the user to run the report manually from their desktop?
I noticed that installing the crystal reports runtimes and giving them the .rpt file does not allow them to open the file. Is there any other way?
    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
Moved your post to the .NET SDK forum where 2010 is the only place it is supported, for now.
Mmmmmm. There is a deployment package you can use to get CR runtime onto a WEB server but unless you can find a host who will allow you to do so you'll have to convert your app to a Windows application. Not too much work but there are definitely differences.
To deploy your WEB app to a desktop each user would have to install and configure IIS. Although on Windows 7 with VS 2010 installed there is an interact WEB server, but I haven't looked into it that much or know what the licensing rules are around it. It may just be something VS 2010 installs and supports and you can't deploy.
Sorry I have not heard of anyone either being the product is so new....
    Thank you
    Don
