You can run in simulation mode which is nothing but the test mode in finance. Every posting can be seen in simulation mode before posting the document.

it is not possible, once u run call tranation the data is updated in table.
for ur requirement, put the option in test mode in selection screen, in this mode flat file data check with master data (flat file validations
) , if any errors it disaly errors in a report.

Error while running a BDC for the Transaction F-02

Hi,
 I'm getting an error "Parking not possible during Batch Input" while running a BDC for the transaction F-02.
 When i click on the error message it displays the message [b]"In Customizing, you can control whether an error message is issued."
 How to solve this issue?.

Hi,
When you are doing the recording in SHDB, and in the same screen where the TCODE to be recorded is given, there are options that you can choose called "Recording Parameters"...Select the checkbox which says "Not a Batch Input Session", this will set the sy-binpt variable to " "(in a recording by default it is "X")...and you will not get this error...
Also make sure while writing the BDC program to make use of the "bdc options" parameter which has this property to switch of sy-binpt...

You run Windows in Parallels or Fusion. Then in Windows you install the program.

Update config testsuite on 4.0.0_fixes branch to force kill the app server before running any tests when the app server is Tomcat. The regression runs were hanging on this branch when going to run the config suite because the Tomcat server isn't shutting down cleanly at the end of the MXUnit run. I believe this is an issue with the version of ActiveMQ we are using. Since I don't think we want to update ActiveMQ on this branch force killing the Tomcat server will workaround the problem.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried this on another machine running the same version of Blackboard. It works fine.
Only difference is that the machine that has the JVM crash is running on Fujitsu PrimePower and the OS is Solaris 9 (but twigged for PrimePower).
The one where it runs and starts up successfully is running on SunFire (OS is Solaris 10).
I am wondering if there is a problem with the JVM loading required libraries because of the OS being different versions.
Any leads on this is welcomed. Thank you.

My client wants to see the Material and quantity going to be generated by MRP run, so how can I run the MD01 in test mode, in order to view which materials are planned and with what quantity PR is going to be generated before MRP run, Same like in the single level planning MD03 with "Display results before they are saved ".

Hello Saket,
If a GP process instance goes into error, it is not poissible to rerun it. You must initiate the process again. Please see the following Knowledge Based Article on this:

BADI for the transaction s ME51n and ME52n

Can i get the code and particular BADI ME51n where the conditions are
In the purchase requisition the field (EBAN- PREIS) valuation price is configured as required, and the value is adopted from the material master record field (MBEW-VERPR) moving price. This moving price may differ on the same material based on the assigned plant. For example:
Material Plant Moving Price
1234 1000 9.10
TA10 5.00
TA12 7.00
The plant field in the Purchase Requisition is mandatory except for document type RV. When this document type is assigned SAP doesnt know which moving price to apply and so the user is prompted to manually enter a value.
To ensure an appropriate value is entered SAP should apply the value from the material master record plant 1000 where the plant field in the RV Purchase Requisition field is blank.
Essentially the same scenario applies to the Purchasing Group. As with the plant, the Purcahsing Group should be copied from the plant 1000 material master record.
SAP should apply the value from the material master record plant 1000 where the plant in the RV Purchase Requisition (EBAN-WERKS) is blank:
EBAN- PREIS = MBEW-VERPR
EBAN-EKGRP = MARC-EKGRP
