Running file in the same package problem

I have 2 java file packed in the same package:
DBConnection.classpackage main;
import java.sql.*;
public class DBConnection {
}t1.class
package main;
import main.DBConnection;
import java.util.ArrayList;
import java.util.regex.Pattern;
import java.util.regex.Matcher;
import java.sql.*;
public class t1 {
}They are packed in the same directory, the path is:
D:\java\project1\main\DBConnection.class
D:\java\project1\main\t1.class
When i was in command prompt (window), I tried both of these but encounterd the following error
D:\java\project1\main>java t1
D:\java\project1\main>java -cp D:\java\project1\main t1
I encountered the following errors:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: t1 (wrong name: main/t1)
When I tried:
D:\java\project1\main>java -cp D:\java\project1 t1
I got this error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: t1
Can anyone tell me the reason? Thx.

  • How do I load a properties file that is in the same package?

    I have the following package:
    com.company.ldap
    In the package I have:
    main.java
    settings.properties
    I want to load the values in the settings.properties file in code, such as:
    propertiesFile = "settings.properties";
            try {
                properties.load(new FileInputStream(new File(propertiesFile)));
            } catch (IOException e) {
                ... error logging logic ...
            }I keep returning "The system cannot find the file specified".
    How do I properly load a properties file in a class file within the same package?
    Thanks,
    --Todd

    Put the file in the classpath (such as in the parent directory of com/company/ldap). Then obtain an input stream to that file like this:
    InputStream stream = getClass().getResourceAsStream("/settings.properties");
    Then use that stream in the properties.load method. Remember to close the stream as well.

    I don't know how to compile the as file with package controllers? Where is wrong? How to use mxmlc to compile it?
    Thanks

    HI,
         You should have one main application class to compile this as code to swf.. So that main application path should be in your proper package structure.. then you can compile you app and as files also...
    Thanks

  • HELP: signer info doesn't match info of other classes in the same package

    I have several jars which need to be signed. They contain several applications and packages which
    are split up based on which parts are needed by server vs client code. How do I get rid of this error?
    I'm signing all the jars using the keytool and jar signer in java 1.3.1. I generate a certificate file.
    My assumption is that each time I sign a different jar, the info is updated in the keystore and
    certificate file. What might I be doing wrong when signing multiple jars?
    (Yes, code from the same package may be in different jars. I don't have any controll of this,
    I'm not in charge of the build and distribution of the various packages).

    Madhusudhanan,
    A couple of observations. First; always list your exact Forms version (eg; 10.1.2.0.2 not 10g R2). In most cases, the solution is different depending on the Forms version. Second; why must you use Forms to kick off a SQL Loader process? This is a server-side process and should be initiated by a server side process. If you absolutely must use Forms to kick off the process, again we need your Forms version in order to offer any solutions. Based on your code sample, I can asusme you are at least using Forms 9i becuase you are using WebUtil.
    Is your Database and Application Server the same physical computer? If they are not, this would explain why your HOST command isn't working because HOST runs against the Application Server not the Database server.
    Third; have you considered using and External Table (if your RDBMS version supports them) for each of the files you are attempting to upload? In this instance, it would be helpful to know your RDBMS version as well. External Tables can be a little frustrating to set up the first time, but as with any new construct you use - it gets easier the more you use it.
    Fourth; are you getting any errors in your log file(s)? If so, what are the errors? Please list the full error message if you have one.
    Finally, with respects to your statement:

  • Calling a method of one class from another withing the same package

    hi,
    i've some problem in calling a method of one class from another class within the same package.
    for eg. if in Package mypack. i'm having 2 files, f1 and f2. i would like to call a method of f2 from f1(f1 is a servlet) . i donno exactly how to instantiate the object for f2. can anybody please help me in this regard.
    Thank u in advance.
    Regards,
    Fazli

    This is what my exact problem.
    i've created a bean (DataBean) to access the database. i'm having a servlet program (ShopBook). now to check some details over there in the database from the servlet i'm in need to use a method in the DataBean.
    both ShopBook.java and DataBean.java lies in the package shoppack.
    in ShopBook i tried to instantiate the object to DataBean as
    DataBean db = new DataBean();
    it shows the compiler error, unable to resolve symbol DataBean.
    note:
    first i compiled DataBean.java, it got compiled perfectly and the class file resides inside the shoppack.
    when i'm trying to compile the ShopBook its telling this error.
    hope i'm clear in explaining my problem. can u please help me?
    thank u in advance.

  • Play two video files at the same time.

    I am trying to play two video files at the same time. I create two threads, each of which has its own frame, playing button, and builds its own graph to play the file. Now everything seems works except that when the first file is being played and I hit PLAY
    to play the second file, the program plays the second file but the first one is paused; furthermore the control button has no response for the first one. Did I miss anything? Can anyone help me figure out the problem?
    Best,
    Fayin

    You don't need separate threads for 2+ playback pipelines because the filters create worker threads internally and don't block execution on calling thread.
    If you decide to keep separate threads, you will have to follow Michel's advice and have message pumps on those threads.
    You can also have both files in the same graph, in which case you have perfect sync between them (both start playing together in sync), however you cannot pause/stop/run files separately.
    The problem you described is most likely not a DirectShow problem and is rather about generic threading, COM or window messaging.

  • Howto deal with multiple source files having the same filename...?

    Ahoi again.
    I'm currently trying to make a package for the recent version of subversive for Eclipse Ganymede and I'm almost finished.
    Some time ago the svn.connector components have been split from the official subversive distribution and have to be packed/packaged extra. And here is where my problem arises.
    The svn.connector consists (among other things) of two files which are named the same:
    http://www.polarion.org/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/2.0/update-site/features/org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector_2.0.3.I20080814-1500.jar
    http://www.polarion.org/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/2.0/update-site/plugins/org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector_2.0.3.I20080814-1500.jar
    At the moment makepkg downloads the first one, looks at its cache, and thinks that it already has the second file, too, because it has the same name. As a result, I can neither fetch both files nor use both of them in the build()-function...
    Are there currently any mechanisms in makepkg to deal with multiple source files having the same name?
    The only solution I see at the moment would be to only include the first file in the source array, install it in the build()-function and then manually download the second one via wget and install it after that (AKA Quick & Dirty).
    But of course I would prefer a nicer solution to this problem if possible. ^^
    TIA!

  • Process flow fails to complete when another in the same package is deployed - OWB 11.2.0.2

    Hi,
    I have  problem with OWB Process Flows whereby whenever I deploy a process flow within an existing package, another Process Flow becomes (unknown to me) invalid and will not complete execution.
    When deploying the first process flow, I am synchronising all mappings within it, saving, validating and saving again before deploying it. This process flow then functions ok but then a random process flow within the same package malfunctions. By this I mean the process flow does not complete, as if it has lost some connectors. Has anybody else had this problem?

    HI Richard,
    Thanks for your reply. Yes I agree with your answer but sadly this does not seem to be the cause of the problem in my case as I always stop any running processes and double check with the list_requests.sql as provided and where necessary execute the deactivate_execution.sql and/or abort_exec_request.sql only if absolutely required. Finally I check again with list_requests.sql and if necessary run in the OWF_MGR schema: WF_PURGE.TOTAL and/or the following sql (again only if required) :
    BEGIN
    FOR cur_rec in (SELECT ITEM_TYPE,ITEM_KEY FROM OWF_MGR.WF_ITEM_ACTIVITY_STATUSES
      WHERE ACTIVITY_STATUS = 'ACTIVE')
    LOOP
    OWF_MGR.WF_PURGE.MOVE_TO_HISTORY(cur_rec.ITEM_TYPE,cur_rec.ITEM_KEY);
    COMMIT;
    END LOOP;
    END;
    So I am sure that no processes are running before I begin deployment. Thanks again for your reply.

  • How does the automatic compilation occur for 2 classes in the same package?

    Hi friends,
    This is my first file Base.java
    package Base;
    class Base {
    protected void amethod() {
    System.out.println("amethod");
    }This is my second file :
    package Class1;
    public class Class1 extends Base {
    public static void main(String argv[]) {
    Base b = new Base();
    b.amethod();
    }However even if I compile only Class1,why do I get the output as "amethod" ? I an not compiling Base class also with this.Do the files get automatically compiled if they are in the same package ?
    Thanks.

  • Accessing other classes in the same package

    I have the following two classes in the same package. Why cant I access the myString vairable from Test2 like I try and do below?
    package test;
    class Test1 {
         public static String myString = "Hello world";
    package test;
    class Test2 {
         static void printMe(){
              System.out.println(Test1.myString);
         public static void main(String args[]) {
                   printMe();
    }

    Why when I take the "package test;" line of code away I can compile it normally?This depends on how you call the compiler and how you have set the class search path. Classes that are in a package are expected to be found from some place in the search path under a directory that has the same name as the package. The default class path consists of only the current directory, ".", so you can avoid all problems by compiling and running from the directory above "test" rather than "test" itself.

  • Captivate 5 Crashing while opening previously edited file from the same day!

    I have today been working on a simple Captivate 5 file. At the time of crashing it had around 9 slides and a one question quiz as I hadnt done much work on it. Im running Captivate 5 on a Windows XP 32bit machine with 4gb RAM and a capable processor. I tried to open a seperate project alongside the one mentioned in order to take a few slides from it. When doing so Captivate crashed. I tried to re open the original document ignoring the second file and got an error message. Some details are captured below. It wouldnt let me take the full detail for some reason but the file it was reporting on is below as its the version of Captivate im running etc.
    I rebooted my machine and reopened the original file no problem. Again tried to open the second file and the same occured. I then tried another reboot only this time, and ever since, it will no longer open the original file which was fine. I have the files in  my dropbox and used a remote connection to check these files on  my Mac at home. They opened in Captivate 5 there without problem. I managed both files so know that the files are ok. It has to be to do with the installation on  my Windows machine. I have run all of the available updates and had no joy.
    I should point out that Captivate still works for new projects. I can just not open existing ones.
    Can anyone offer any advice on how I may fix this? Its driving me crazy as im up against it with deadlines and this hasnt helped me much today.
    Any advice is greatly appreciated.
