Running Java 3D

Question

Hi all
I have a question that may sounddaft but I am stumped! I have been working away on Java 3D for several weeks now and my PC set up is sorted and fine. The problem is when I take my class files and move them to a new PC and try and run them from the command line. I keep getting an error that reads:
"The Dynamic Link Library d3d8.dll could not be found in the specified path" (then a load of paths to C:\WINNT etc.
When I try and search for that file it can not be found! Is this .dll file one that should be installed by the JRE? Does anyone know what the problem is here! the code is set out as a standalone item of Code and not an applet should I try and run it as an Applet?
Can Any of you help?

I know I'm thinking the same I have a work friend trying to run the files and I was not there when he set up the PC so not 100% sure. We downloaded what I thought was the J2RE1.4.1 and J3d version 1.2 and I thought that when you ran the files they installed tothe correct location. The calssPath is getting manually set and am SURE of that if nothing else! For some reason the J3D.dll file can not fine the one I mentioned!
