Habe das Script über den Extension Manager installiert, aber ich kann es im Photoshop Menü unter Erweiterungen nicht finden!
Adobe Paper Texture Pro erscheint und läuft einwandfrei.

Droplets funktionieren nicht mit dem neuen Photoshop CC 2014. Ein Droplet einmal mit CS 6 und einmal mit CC2014 erstellt, funktionieren nicht. Die gleichen Droplets im CS6 funktioniert tadellos. Ich habe auf 2 verschiedene PC's versucht, doch es kommt immer die gleiche Meldung. Zuhause mit Windows 8.1 geht es allerdings.
Kann jemand helfen?

Lied erscheint nicht auf iTunes

Hallo Leute!
Ich habe neuerdings ein Problem. Wenn ich von youtube ein Lied konvertiere (http://www.youtube-mp3.org/de) und dann auf "Herunterladen" klicke, öffnet sich zwar itunes (als Standarprogramm eingestellt), das Lied wird in iTnues aber nirgends angzeigt, bzw. erscheint nicht. Früher hat es immer geklappt, nun geht es auf einmal nicht mehr. Kann mir bitte jemand helfen? Leider bin ich nicht so der Computerhirsch und nach nun 2 Stunden "Pröbeln", habe ich aufgegeben. Wenn iTunes als Player für MP3s eingestellt ist, heißt das noch nicht, daß es den Song automatisch in die Bibliothek übernimmt. Einfach mal manuell in iTunes ziehen. Wenn es den Song nicht annimmt, dann ist das Format nicht (mehr) kompatibel. Man könnte den Song dann mit irgendeinem Konverter, wie z. B. FormatFactory, neu auf MP3 kodieren und nochmal versuchen, den in iTunes zu bringen.

Ich habe dreimal versucht einen Film (111mb) hochzuladen, der Verlaufsbalken erscheint, das Laden dauert ca. 7 Minuten, der Film erscheint dann allerdings nicht. Besonders ärgerlich ist, dass noch nicht einmal eine Fehlermeldung erscheint. Wer weiß Rat?

Beim öffnen eines neuen Tabs erscheint nicht die Übersicht aller häufigen Seiten sondern eine Startseite, die ich nicht ausgewählt habe. Reset?

Seit ich Firefox upgedatet habe erhalte ich für neue Tabs eine Seite, die ich nicht dafür festgelegt habe. Es ist auch nicht eine Startseite von Firefox. Die Funktion der Übersicht häufig gewählter Websiten gibt es nicht. Das würde ich aber zurück haben wollen. STartseite konnte ich festlegen, aber die erscheint nur beim Aufrufen.
Leider blicke ich bei den Englischen Antworten nicht durch. Kann jemand helfen.?

Fenster Über Digital Editions... erscheint nicht, Hauptfenster hängt daher

Bei Anklicken von Über Digital Editions... (im Hilfemenü) "hängt" das Programm. So sieht es aus, bis man draufkommt: Es sollte sich wohl ein Fenster geöffnet haben, welches man wieder wegklicken muß, bevor das Hauptfenster wieder reagiert. Also hängt nichts, lediglich das Fenster AboutDialog erscheint nicht.
Versuche, ADE über das alte Programm erneut zu installieren, oder nach Deinstallieren neu zu installieren, brachten nichts.

Getting Russell Brown's Image Processor Pro to work with an action

I have Photoshop CS6 with Russell Brown's Image Processor Pro installed.
I have the ongoing task of processing pics of different sizes and different width/height ratios.
I would like to get the following result using IP Pro (in collaboration with an action):
1. Downsize pic to 960 pixels wide (height doesn't matter, but needs to stay in ratio)
2. Watermark pic.
3. Save.
4. Creating a thumbnail of 320 x 213 pixels, without distorting ratio. This may mean downsizing to 320 wide with relative height, *then* cropping via Image-Canvas Size. Chopping a bit off is preferable to me than distorting the ratio.
5. Save the smaller version as 'Documentnamex' (i.e. adding an 'x' to the document name for the thumbnail.
I have 1-3 in an action and have used it for years.
But as for the task of a smaller thumbnail, kept in ratio but chopped and named with an x - I am stumped. I downloaded IP Pro for the task, but I can't get it to work.
If I save the original with IP Pro (at step 3), how do I then get it to make the thumbnail?
If I create the thumbnail in the action, *then* do 2 saves in IP Pro (thumbnail and 960 version), the bigger one will be pixelated (and no surprises there)
Summary: I want 2 watermarked versions:
1. 1234a.jpg: 960 pixels wide, height relative
2. 1234ax.jpg: thumnail, 320 wide x 213 high
Can anyone help? Am I asking too much of the software?

I copied that .jsx file to a new name "Xbytor Image Processor Pro.jsx" edit that file changed the string Dr Browns services to "Xbytor Image Processor Pro" then commented out all the code that added tools menu items but "Image Processor Pro" and I put that file into
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CC\Adobe Bridge" even though Bridge CC is 64Bit seems to use theat location.
Bridge CC was updated by the creative clouds update and opens Photoshop CC 2014 now

Russell, great video! I am trying out CS6 (have CS3), when you went into Camera Raw, then, snapshot and highlighted camera raw 7.0, the picture popped and the exposure was corrected. Did you presave those actions and call them camera raw 7.0? When I click on snapshot, there is nothing to pull down or highlight called camera raw 7.0? thanks!

I just switched from Photoshop CS 6 to CC and use Russell Brown "Image Processor Pro". Unfortunately does not work that under CC. I also want to install the fix but we probably only applied to CS6.

I installed Image Processor Pro quite some time ago. I extracted the extension package and just copied the two files "Image Processor Pro.xml" and "Image Processor Pro.jsx" into Photoshop's versions Presets\Scripts. I normally install things I add to Photoshop into my own folders outside any Adobe installation folder. Image Processor Pro is an exception because I did not want to modify X's code. Image Processor Pro is coded in a way to find which version of Photoshop is being run from and looks for its default xml file in that version Presets\scripts\ folder.
The script may save your modficaions to its defalt xml file into you user ID application data areas. And you can save you own Image Processor Pro presets configurations.
I run Windows not Mac though.

I was just about to make a comment on the Discussions page. I believe that the reason I couldn’t get Paper Textures to work in PS CC (2014.2) is because all (2014) versions of PS are HTML based not Flash based.
Adobe should have called Photoshop CC (2014) Photoshop CC (HTML) so we would remember that switch over in their core coding.
Now I have to got to Russell’s script site and get Paper Textures 3.1.0.

wenn ich mit meinem Adobe CS 5.5 in eine neu erstellt Datei mit Indesign eine Grafik öffnen und platzieren möchte kommt die folgende Fehlermedlung:
"Die Datei existiert nicht bzw. wird von einer anderen Anwendung verwendet, oder Sie haben nicht die entsprechenden Zugriffsrechte."
Vorher hatte ich eine Indesigndatei vm Apple versucht zu öffnen. Kann es sein, dass dabei mit der Steuerung der Zugriffsrechte etwas schief ging? Es laufen auch keine anderen Anwendungen im Hintergrund, die mit dem Zugriff konkurrieren würden.

vermutlich kennen einige von Euch diese haarsträubende Mitteilung.
Hat denn jemand von Euch ein Patentrezept, wie ich meine Datei wieder öffnen kann? Ich möchte nicht noch einmal ganz von vorne anfangen!
Im Support hilft man mir nicht mehr, weil meine "Uralt"-Version von Photoshop (CS5) nicht mehr supportet wird.
Die Testversion eines Repairtools hat mir gezeigt, dass sich das Dokument wiederherstellen lässt, allerdings nur mit Wasserzeichen im Hintergrund, solange ich keine Vollversion kaufe.
Ich hoffe so auf einen bewährten Trick, da ich noch kein Photoshop-internes Repair-Tool gefunden habe und eigentlich keine Lust habe, zusätzlich zu der teuren Adobe-Suite auch noch Geld auszugeben für ein Tool, das repariert, was Photoshop mir zerstört hat (das zweite Mal bereits).

ich werde das Programm mal ausprobieren. Wenn Du damit schon Dateien retten konntest, könnte das in meinem Fall ja auch funktionieren. Vielen Dank schon einmal dafür!
Was die Fehlermeldung betrifft, so hatte ich vergessen, im Thread zu erwähnen, dass die Meldung tatsächlich nichts mit der Kompatibilität zu tun hat. GIMP beispielsweise meldet den Schaden an der Datei "realistischer": "Unbekanntes Dateiende".
Denn: Die Datei, die mir kaputt gegangen war, hatte ich kurz zuvor selbst in Photoshop bearbeitet: Ich habe ein TIF in Photoshop geöffnet, es bearbeitet, es mit allen Ebenen als PSD gespeichert, geschlossen, wollte es später noch einmal öffnen (in der Zwischenzeit hatte ich Photoshop nicht einmal beendet), und bekam dann die Meldung.
Im selben Ordner lag auf einmal auch eine ~.tmp-Datei, die wohl damit zu tun hat. Ich nehme an, Photoshop hat die Datei schlicht nicht fertig gespeichert. Umso ärgerlicher demnach die Meldung, weil sie inhaltlich schlicht falsch ist (Adobe hat sich also nicht einmal die Mühe gemacht, für diesen Bug eine extra Fehlermeldung zu programmieren, geschweigedenn ein Reparatur-Feature, mit dem das Programm seine Fehler selbst ausmerzen kann, so wie es das kostenpflichtige Repair-Tool macht).
Was die temporäre Datei betrifft, so habe ich auch noch nicht herausgefunden, ob und wie man sie mit der beschädigten irgendwie kombiniert, zusammenbringt, emulgiert... was auch immer, sodass die beiden eine letztlich funktionierende Liaison eingehen und das PSD sich öffnet.
Aber ich probiere jetzt einfach erst einmal das von Dir vorgeschlagene Tool und sehe, was passiert.

Exchange Panel installed properly but offers the "free" Russell Brown paper app @ $35.00 only!?

Despite being a Creative Cloud subscriber, the new Exchange Panel is offering the new FLY paper app from Russell Brown only as a "paid" download, whereas the CreativePro.com-promotion states the Pro version of that app is free to C.C. members. It appears the Exchange Panel does not recognize me as a Creative Cloud member. Any ideas?

I would rather not give out my used ID publicly or any other way. Yes, you are right about my confusing the 2 apps. However, I did initially search only for the Russell Brown/Paper textures app - which gave me "No results..."
So, I still have the problem of not being able to locate the app-file. Even, asking for "All" extensions and searching the listed apps manually, I come up with nothing.
