We are using oracle 9i.
We are storing some russian data in a database, the characterset we are using is UTF8. The NLS_LANG value we are using is RUSSIAN_CIS.CL8ISO8859P5.
Databse properties for the database is as under

we want to display the same russian data in SQL*PLUS (which we are using as a client). For that we tried the above mentioned NLS_LANG parameter and we also tried
NLS_LANG = RUSSIAN_CIS.CL8MSWIN1251. Both the NLS_LANG parameter is working fine.
Now i want to store some hindi data into the database, and same we want to display in SQL*PLUS. What i read is that by defining the characterset UTF8 it is possible
so i just tried RUSSIAN_RUSSIA.UTF8 as a NLS_LANG value, when i supply this value in windows registry(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-->SOFTWARE-->ORACLE-->HOME0-->NLS_LANG) then it takes the value, but when i tried to connect the
database then oracle throws an error
INVALID VALUE SPECIFIED FOR NLS PARAMETER.
I also tried to store and view only hindi data in SQL*PLUS by changing the two registry values as HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-->SOFTWARE-->ORACLE-->HOME0-->NLS_LANG = HINDI_INDIA.IN8ISCII and SQLPLUS_FONT_CHARSET= HINDI. Then also i'm unable to view hindi data from tables.
Now what I want is that, to store and view hindi as well as russian data in a database and view the same in SQL*PLUS. Please help me out if thr is some solution for the same.

Shortly, sqlplus is not a UNICODE client, you cannot use UTF8 as client characterset. I assume, currently you have an ANSI codepage, which supports cyrillic characters. When you now want to store and retrieve hindi characters, it's not sufficient to change the Oracle client characterset, you have to to change to the correct ANSI codepage, too.

Only i shaw those parameters which i used in my stored procedure, the parameter which i create dynamic using stored procedure
is not shown to me when i referesh the report for viewing the results.

Dynamic Parameters in Action
My question is that whether dynamic parameter is working with storedprocedure or not.
When i added one table and try to fetch records using dyanmic prameters. after that i am not be able to find the dynamic parameter option when i referesh my report.
One more thing when i try the static parameter for my report, the option i see when i referesh the screen.

I have tested the issue step by step by following you description, while the first issue works well in my local environment. Based on my research, this can be caused by the lookup expression or it indeed return Male value based on the logic. If you use the
expression below, it will indeed only return the Male record. So please try to double-check the record in the two datasets and the expression in your environment:
=lookup(first(Fields!ProgramID.Value,"DataSet1"),Fields!ProgramID.Value,Fields!Gender.Value,"DataSet2")
As to the second issue, please try to use the following expression:
=Count(Lookup(fields!ProgramID.value,fields!ProgramID.value,fields!Gender.value,"DataSet2"))
Besides, if this issue still exist, in order to trouble shoot this issue more efficiently, could you please post both the .rdl file with all the size properties to us by the following E-mail address? It is benefit for us to do further analysis.

Date parameter does not work in SharePoint 2010 report using SQL 2008 Server Reporting Service

Here is the settings:
SharePoint 2010 with SQL server 2008 reporting services configured
When create a report for a SP list using SQL server report builder (3.0) the date parameter does not work.
The data parameter is set as "date and time" type and field name equals the col name in the SP list
When run the report, the whatever dates I select, the result is always the same, so the parameters do not take any effect.
Is any step missing?

Have you tested if other type parameter worked?
Have you tried typing the date format as 20140722 in your date parameter filed before run the report?

If you are on adobe cloud, download indesign that support hebrew from CC desktop. Click on the preference gear on the top right then select App language.

Oracle date parameter query not working?

Trying to run the below query, but always fails even though the parameter values matches. I'm thinking there is a precision issue for :xRowVersion_prev parameter. I want too keep as much precision as possible.

What could be the reason of OSCDIMG premastering tool not working in Windows 10?
I'm trying to rebuild ISO from the admin setup point and having problems with OSCDIMG failing to read files from the master folder:

Figured it myself.
For some reason, the tool does NOT support source locations on ReFS formatted drives. Move the D:\ISOFOLDER location to NTFS formatted drive, and the tool works flawless:

CR2008 . Net App - Parameters and Parameter Panel Not working

I have a CR2008 report with one parameter, which works fine when running it in CR2008. I have an app developed in VS2005 (which should have been updated when I installed Crystal and re-built the app). The new "Sort Labels" work fine, so the Viewer should be OK (the right version). When I open the report in the app, the parameter does not modify the report in anyway, whether a new value is added when it first opens, or I try to change the value using the Parameter panel after it is opened. I've tried Saving with and without data, discarding saved data on refresh, and one or two other properties that seemed like they might have an effect. None of them did. Everything works fine within CR2008 - it is only in VS2005, using the Version 12 viewer, that the parameter does not work (all records are returned by the way).
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Firewall is off. No antivirus. Switching Little snitch on an off makes no difference.
Just tried ot connect to the App Store again, and it says no connection, connect anyway.....I click connect, and the entire window flashes balck and white and I can see data traffic to and from the app via little snitch.....the black screen is it trying to load the page but not getting through.

I am trying to export Crystal Report to HTML format using VB.NET code. Functionality is working fine at Windows XP Environment (Save to Disk, Open an Application and Email Attachment). But the same functionality is not working at Windows 7 Environment (both 32-Bit as well as 64-Bit).

It looks like inheritance is broken in the component hierarchy for JFrame in Windows 7 JDK 1.6.0_23-b05. The only thing remotely related to inheritance in your code snippet is the WindowListener, which does little. See camickr's advice about built-in exit management.
EDIT - using the post title as a clue, I realize you may be talking about the component hierarchy, and whether the contentPane's background is visible through the upper layers. Instead of guessing, I'd prefer you describe your "issue" accurately (observed vs expected behavior).

Web Service Client(Console App) not working on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition

I am trying to consume an ASMX Web Service in a console app, its working fine in Windows 7,Windows Server 2012 Standard,Windows Server 2008 R2 DataCenter,Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, But its not working in Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition which
is the deployment server.
I tried consuming the ASMX web service using Web Reference and Service Reference as well but its not helping. Its throwing up the following error,
Message:There is an error in XML document (1, 331491).
Inner Exception : System.Xml.XmlException: '.', hexadecimal value 0x00, is an invalid character. Line 1, position 331491.
The scenario is that i call the web service and it returns me an XML i am not able to receive the XML on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition.
Please provide suggestions on this I need to resolve this ASAP.

APPLE mouse & keyboard not working with Windows (Bootcamp)

I installed Leopard and Windows XP on my Mac Pro. The installation went very smoothly. Only problem I have is that my Apple wireless keyboard and mouse do not work on Windows (frozen) although they work fine on Leopard. I tried a Logitech wireless trackball and it works fine on both Windows and Leopard. Any suggestion?

Thanks. I upgraded from Tiger and downloaded Bootcamp from Leopard Installation disc ( I did not have a beta version ). I then installed Windows XP SP2 ( brand new, just bought for that purpose ). Wonder if Mac wireless keyboard and mouse are compatible with Window. Everything else work beyond my expectation.

Flash player does work in Windows 8 desktop internet Explorer 10. I tried all of the recommended fixes suggested by adobe Flash Player Issues/windows 8 page. I have reinstalled Windows 8 operating system. What should I try next?

This is a known issue with Flash Pro CC - GM build.
this crash has been fixed in the update that was released recently. Please update to 13.0.1.808 version and it should fix this.
Please reply if it still persists after the update.

ITunes 12.1.1 does NOT work with Windows - Fix??

I had issue after issue with the latest iTunes update (12.1.1) not working on my windows 7. It simply would not lunch when clicking on the shortcut to open.
After a fair bit of searching I found this alternative version which seemed to do the trick and now it works:
iTunes 12.1.1.4 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - iTunes64Setup.exe(2015-02-18)

The "for older video cards" installer - which, like most prior "64 bit" versions of iTunes, is actually a 32 bit application with a 64 bit installer - may be a useful fallback if the full 64 bit version does not install or run correctly. Although 12.1.1.4 is a major improvement over 12.1.0.71, there are clearly still some lurking incompatibilities with some 64 bit Windows systems/components. It is, however, a little misleading to say that "iTunes 12.1.1 does NOT work with Windows" - in many cases it works fine without switching to the alternative version. I have the full 64-bit version of 12.1.1.4 running on three systems - two Windows 7 and one Windows 8.1 - no issues with either installation or operation on any of them.

ITunes 9 Home Sharing does not work on Windows 7 x64

iTunes 9 Home Sharing does not work on Windows 7 x64.
Getting the following error message:
Home sharing could not be activated because this computer is not authorized for the account "iTunes account." Please authorize this computer and try again.
This is a bug since my computer is authorized in iTunes and there is only 2 computer authorized for my iTunes account, so I have 3 more left till I should get this message.
I've just upgraded my iPhone to OS 3.1 using it this morning.
Please advise.

I am running iTunes 9.0.2.25
I am running Mcafee.
I can see and play music from the iTunes installation on my Windows 7 machine, but I CANNOT access the library to copy songs from this computer to other computers on my network.
YES, I have enabled "Home Sharing" using my iTunes account. NO, I have not authorized more than 5 computers on this account.
I believe this to be a Windows 7 related issue, as Home Sharing worked as advertised when I was using Vista (before I upgraded to Windows 7).
I CAN set up Home Sharing on two other (host) computers in my home network and it works. These computers are XP and a MacBook Pro. I CANNOT access my Windows 7 machine x64 to COPY music from one autorized library to another. Please help!!!
P.S. - I have attempted to get this to work by turning OFF my McAfee firewall. Windows firewall is disabled.
