RV120W cannot select n speed under wifi

I recently purchased a RV120W router and I am having a problem selecting n speed under the wireless settings.
If I select B/G/N-Mixed mode then when I go to save the change I get B/G/N-Mixed B/G/N-Mixed in red letters and it does not save. If I select N only then when I go to save it says in red letters N only N only.
It does not matter if I pick 20 only or 20/40. It does not matter if I enable or disable U-APSD. It does not matter if I use the LSB or USB side.
Firmware Version:
1.0.3.10
When I got the router it had an older firmware if I remember correctly, and it would let me change to n speed.
Any suggestions?

Well I had done all sorts of testing and stuff for the problem to still be there. Recently I had been fighting a bouncing DSL connection that would bounce from 20 minutes to an hour or so. Everything I had tried with the 1.0.2.6 firmware and the 1.0.3.10 firmware yielded the same result. If you touch any of the settings under basic wireless the speed would drop on my WiFi to 54.0MB and I would get the B/G/N-Mixed red warning next to the Wireless Network Mode.
My final was to do a complete setup in 1.0.2.6 firmware, save it with everything set. Then Factory Default the router. Upgrade to firmware 1.0.3.10. Once done do a simple reset. After that reset then use the saved config file to restore the router. But my connection did not stay stable on the n speed and would drop back to G a lot.
Well as I said I was fighting DSL issues which ended up resulting in a modem/gateway change. I had a ZyXEL PK5001Z. I put in my older ZyXEL PK5000Z, which is compatiable with my DSL as it was my modem at the old house. Now my DSL connection is stable. So I went and checked the router and my WiFi is a solid 117 - 130MB and if I make a change on the Basic Settings page for the Wireless I no longer get an error.
So it appears my DSL modem/gateway (modem/router), an ZyXEL PK5001Z, was the cause of my router problems as well as my DSL bouncing and noise on my phone line too.
At this point I am running the 1.0.3.10 firmware and I am having no problems.

It should look like this...
Open Windows explorer, select Photo Stream under Favorites on the left sidebar:
Click on Photo Stream, then to the right double-click on My Photo Stream. Click on Add Photos on the top the menu bar:
Select the photos you want to import, then click Open.

Will not allow me to select on under wifi settings

My phone will not allow me to select on under wifi settings. It appears faded as if it is not a possibility. I have tried turning off phone and have tried re-setting network settings.

If none of the tips in that article resolve the problem you have a hardware failure, probably of the radio chip. If you take it to an Apple store they will replace it if in warranty, or for $199 if out of warranty.

Personal Hotspots Now Listed Under WiFi - Cannot Connect

Strange problem.
I have an IPad Air that I enable Personal Hotspot. Works great on my Mac, works great on an iPhone 5s, works great on iPhone 6 Plus. On iPhone 6, I cannot connect. All iOS devices are running iOS 8.0. Strange thing, on the one that it is not able to connect, there is a new "Personal Hotspots" area under WiFi. The other devices have the Personal Hotspot show up with the other WiFi hotspots - these can connect without issue.
I thought there was a new feature in iOS8 that allowed one device to automatically enable the hotspot of another iOS device, so I tried disabling the personal hotspot on the iPad Air and get the same error. See enclosed pictures, notice how the iPad Air shows up in two different locations, when under WiFi, it connects. When listed under "Personal Hotspots" it does not connect.

In Settings -> Cellular

In system preferences, under extensions, cannot select mail, iMessage, airdrop as extensions to use to share content

I have been creating a photo book using a lots of photographs on iPhoto, and then I took another photos by using new iPAD which I want to integrate with the original album/book on iMac. I was able to import them from iPAD's iPhoto to iMac's iPhoto. However I cannot import or transfer or sync anything from iMac's iPhoto to that of my iPAD.
So my iPhoto page on iPAD contains only 3 or 4 newly created albums, and no other info. That means no syncing....
I am supposed to be able to work on this project on either of these iPAD and iMac, correct?
I am puzzled. I appreciate for your advice and help.

Can't select "Variable Speed" for Still Image Motion

I am using FCP 5.1 to add motion to still images. I've placed my still images on the timeline and added the appropriate keyframes in the Motion tab of the Viewer to Scale, Rotate, and move the stills on screen to my liking. But the speed is locked to "Constant," and I want to change that.
Specifically, am rolling a still image on-screen, freezing it in the middle of the screen a few seconds, and then rolling it off-screen. Doing this is easy: I just add a keyframe and type in the off-screen coordinates, then add another keyframe and type in coordinates somewhere on screen. But I want to vary the speed that the image rolls on-screen, so it moves on-screen quickly but then gradually slows down until it finally stops (freezes) in the middle of the screen.
Unfortunately, the "Setting" popup menu under "Time Remap" in the Motion tab of the viewer is grayed out and locked to "Constant Speed" (and yes, my still image clip is indeed selected and being displayed in the view). I cannot figure out how to unlock that popup so I can select variable speed.
I can choose Variable or Constant speed just fine for any imported "video" clips -- only still images are locked to Constant for some reason. Is this just a feature limitation of FCP 5? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yes, it was in the manual, which by the way is quite large. And I didn't say how long it took me to spot that in the manual either -- a long time. I didn't spot it the first time I had read through that section (yes, I had read it before). And the fact is, you didn't know it either, otherwise you may have cared to point it out (for not only myself, but for others reading this forum too).
I participate in numerous other forums on other sites. Many times, people ask questions that are very simplistic to me -- I know the answers and I know those people putting forth the questions could easily have looked up the answer. Nevertheless, I take time to be helpful to others. For truly, some day I may be in their shoes, lacking time to read every part of every manual out there.
I am therefore thankful to those who likewise respond in a tactful manner to my queries, with the productive aim of helping others rather than condemning them. Thank you, David Harbsmeier, for being consistently positive and very helpful in this forum!

Troubles with Internet for my Macbook Air under wifi

It is so weird. My Macbook Air works well when it uses Wifi. But recently I find that I fail to update or download apps in APP Store under Wifi environment. I can access the Mac App Store but some images are missing.
Also, other softwares have the similar problems. I can search and locate in Maps; but it does not show the image of map.
Kindle, Dropbox, etc... For these Apps, I cannot get updated stuff when using Wifi. Notice: I can still go online surfing and online services under Wifi. Just what I mention above do not work.
However, everything works perfect when I use a cable to make a wired network.
I really do know what happened.

Back up all data.
From the menu bar, select
           ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network
If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. If any proxy options are selected, make a note of them and then deselect them. You don’t need to change the bypass or FTP settings. Click OK and then Apply. Test. The result may be that you can't connect to any web server. Restore the previous settings if that happens.
B
Open the DNS tab, and change the server addresses to the following:
          8.8.8.8
          8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
Test. Any difference?
Notes:
1. If you lose Internet access after making the above change to your network settings, delete the Google servers in the Network preference pane, then select the TCP/IP tab and click Renew DHCP Lease. That should restore the original DNS settings; otherwise restore them yourself. Remember that you must click Apply in order for any changes to take effect.
2. I don't use Google DNS myself, though I have tested it, and I'm not recommending it or any other DNS provider; the server addresses are offered merely for testing purposes. There may be privacy and technical issues involved in using that service, which you should investigate personally before you decide whether to keep the settings. Other public DNS services exist.

My macbook pro cannot connect to internet via wifi

I have a Macbook Pro 2010 OS X 10.8.3. I cannot connect to internet via wifi (Air por). My Macbook Pro does not recognize my network and when I select it from the list of network it asks for my network password. when I type in my password a dialog box gives me timeout error. Please could anyone help me. I am using ethernet for my connection at the moment. Do I need to reset my macbookpro? if yes, what will happen to my applications and operating system (mountain lion)?

HP Officejet Pro 8600 - Cannot select color printing in settings

I selected grayscale printing. Now I want to print in color and cannot find how to print in color. Option not found.

Here's an answer - it might not match your setup though:
OS: Windows 8.1
Print Driver: HP Officejet Pro Full Feature Software and Driver, 2012-10-22 , Version28.8
Bring up the HP Officejet Pro 8600 software and select Set Preferences under Print:
Then on the Printing Prefrences dialog, press the Advanced button:
And then on the Advanced Options dialog, turn off the option under Printer Features for Print in Grayscale:

Cannot select name when creating new DC

Hi all,
It seems I encounter this kind of problems over and over again when dealing with NWDI )-:
In this thread Cannot select vendor when creating new DC I couldn't select vendor.
I installed a new NWDI system (version is 7.18), did all the post installation steps including the configuration of a name server on the SLD but I cannot select "name" and the vendor I entered is not shown (even if enter it manually I cannot select name so it doesn't help - see snapshot).

I did name server config on : http://server:port/dtr/system-tools/administration/NameServerConfiguration
Name prefixes are defined under 'Name Reservation -> Development Component Name' - I used <x.y>/* and <x.y>/tst (x.y is namespace like com.omri).
I updated CMS after setting the name server, restart J2EE and did all kind of voodoo without success.
I use local SLD which is part of the J2EE.
I don't get any error messages (from NWDI/SLD/NWDS).
I don't remember this kind of problem with NWDI on 6.40 versions.
Moreover I installed and configured several systems on 7.12 & 7.13 versions without any problems but with 7.14 & 7.18 I've problem with setting the name server...

Solved it on my own by deleting and creating the track again (with the same settings!!!)

Downloaded a spanish speech analysis model for Premier CC but it appears as if it has not been applied to the settings, I cannot select spanish in the analyze window.

I just downloaded a Spanish speech analysis model for premier cc, installed it, restarted premier, started a new project, did both multiple times, even reinstalled the model and I still cannot select Spanish as a language to be analyzed in a project... Any ideas?

Cannot select last delegated resource in Firefox in webcal

Note: I've already solved this issue, but figured other people might benefit as well.
Scope
This problem deals exclusively with WebCal, a service of Apple Lion Server. It is a component of iCal, a service of the Lion Server. When iCal is enabled, it creates a website application in Apache under the location: /webcal.
Problem
This problem appears to only exist in Firefox (only tested on version 7.0.1), users cannot select the last resource/location principal in the drop down at the top of the webcal (/webcal). Chrome and Safari did not exhibit this issue. In Firefox, the last element appended to the select tag is automatically selected, thus, the javascript code selecting the correct entry, which appears before the last append, is rendered useless.
No only that, but the last entry is never selectable, as the DOM already indicates that that element is selected and thus the "change" event never triggers.
This does NOT refer to calendar selection once you're in a resource. This is about resource selection. This is at the top of the web page, centered and always prefaced with "Calendar for " followed by the delegated principal Full Name
Solution
Update the javascript to select the current calendar after the last element is appended to the select element, but before the change event is listened to. The javascript file affected/udpated is located at:
/usr/share/collabd/coreclient/public/javascripts/calendar/calaccess.js
on your Lion Server. Changes start around line 1285.

Glad it worked for you. It took me about a day to figure out.
I've not had issues with delegates. But I've had to use the command-line instead of the GUI as I've needed multiple people as delegates for certain resources (like public calendars with single writers).
We've had issues with time zones reverting to Pacific, though.

AirPlay Output Cannot Select

I purchased a Bose wifi speaker. When I leave work and come back I cannot select my speaker using AirPlay. I see my speaker name available for AirPlay output, however, every time I select the speaker it automatically goes back to my built-in speakers. I have to restart my system in order to select the external speaker for AirPlay.
