Rwrun reports stop working after a period of time using a job scheduler
Hello, I am having a strange issue. We use either Control-M or Windows Task scheduler to run a VBS script that calls rwrun to generate multiple reports for multiple properties. Initially everything worked without issues then after about 2 months the VB Script running through Control-M started Failing. I could still run them from command line on the same server without Issues. So I set them up in Windows Task Scheduler and again they worked for about 3 weeks then started to Fail. Again I could still run the same scripts from command line on the server and have no issues. So we moved the scripts to another App server and went back to Control-M. This time after about 3 months the jobs started to fail. Moved them to Windows TS and again after about 1 week they started to fail. The TRACEALL shows nothing but I am getting this error in the hs_err_pidxxxx.log files that it creates. Does anyone know if some type of Temp location needs to be cleared or what my issue might be? Stumped at this point. Also point out the the servers were rebooted and no patches or modifcations where done to them before they start to fail. Thanks for any suggestions.

I realize this is an old post, however I've had the exact same issue over the last week with the same UTL.dll showing in the hs_err_pidxxxx file.
Our VB6 app ran as a Windows 2003 scheduled task for almost two years before stopping all of a sudden. It ran fine when logged on, but would fail when we logged off. The task would run, but the program would fail. While we never did get the scheduled task working properly, I did find an alternate solution.
Instead of using rwrun.exe I updated the code in our app to use rwclient.exe. The command for rwrun and rwclient are very similar with rwclient requiring a server= setting.

Photoshop CS6 stops working after a period of time
Hi,
I'm having a very frustrating issue with Photoshop CS6. When starting up my Pc or notebook it works just fine and I can open images and create new documents.
After a period of time (unknown) I can no longer open images or create new documents. There are no error messages appearing at all.
I have contacted support and to date nothing has worked to resolve this.
I have un-installed and re-installed Photoshop. I have tried running it without loading preferences etc.
The application is up to date as is my operating system.
This is affecting Photoshop on 2 separate installs, my PC and notebook
Any ideas?
Running Windows 7
Cheers
GeorgeBut this is happening on two different machines, a work notebook and my home PC... surely not the issue?

In windows 8, web page buttons stop working after a period of time.
After purchasing a new laptop with Windows 8, I installed Firefox v21. After it runs for a period of time, buttons on web pages seem to quit working and also some drop down menus. Only fix seems to be to clear history cache and cookies and restart Firefox. It will work for a while, then I have to go through this process again.
Any ideas?Hello,
'''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)''
* You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for that.
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.''
''When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.''
Thank you. -
U530 Touch Keyboard stops working after a period of time
I just got a new Ideapad U530 touchscreen laptop yesterday. After a few minutes the keyboard stops working. I uninstalled a few of the Lenovo multimedia programs I don't need. Is there a bios update or a driver I should update after purchase?
Moderator Note; subject edited
Solved!
Go to Solution. The reset didn't work partially. I reinstalled the Comodo firewall and the keyboard stopped working again. I uninstalled it and installed the free Zonealarm.

Extensions like Ghostery, WOT or AdBlock stop working after two or three times. Restarting the webpage in a new tab the extensions will work again for several times and then stop again. Has anybody an explanation or a workaround for this bug in Safari 5?
Remove the extensions, redownload Safari, reload the extensions.

And if you really want a better experience, use Firefox, tons more choices and possibilities there.
Firefox's "NoScript" will block the Trojan going around on websites. Best web security you can get.

Ghostery, Ad Block Plus and thousands of add-ons more have originated on Firefox. -

I have downloaded crystal reports 2008 for SAP business one from the SAP service market place on 01.11.2008 and installed at customer site on 21.12.2008. We also developed and delivered 6 report template to customer using it.
These all 6 reports were working fine till yesterday.Suddenly from today morning (21.01.2009-exact one month after installation) all these 6 reports has stopped working.
Can anyone tell, why it is behaving like this ?

Does the home button of iPhone 5 stop working over a period of time?
I'd purchased an iPhone 4 when it was released. After using it for 8 months the home button had stopped working. Then i found out that its a common problem in the iPhone 4. Is it the same with Iphone 5?
I've never had a problem with any iPhone I've had, nor has anyone I know. But being a mechanical device, parts are going to break. That's why there's a warranty.

WRT120N with WiFi that stops working after random periods from days to weeks
I have an odd problem. For no apparent reason, all of a sudden, wifi devices can no longer connect to my access point. When in this state, devices can see and attempt to connect to the access point but connection fails before DHCP is attempted. Whilst in this state, all wired devices can see each other and the internet. Power cycling and reseting the AP return normal functionality until the next time. I have found that disabling and re-enabling the wifi on the AP also restores wifi connectivity. I am running the wifi in mixed b/g mode and with WPA -PSK.
I have RMA'ed my origonal AP under guidance from Lynksis and the replacement has got it's self into this state within 3 days.
Are there any hidden logs or tools that I can use to find out what the problem is? It is probably down to one of my devices doing something that my AP does not like but I have no way of finding out which one.
I had better add that I am runnin gthe latest firmware, 1.0.0.4Try the following settings on the router...
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop). In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...Leave Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
Under the Wireless tab...Click on Advanced Wireless Settings...Change the Beacon Interval to 75,Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304,Change the RTS Threshold to 2304 and Click on Save Settings...Now,check. -
Cisco 2911 stops responding after a period of time
I have a Cisco 2911 router with 4 T1 connections. Two are set as a multilink and the other two are for two other locations. The router will run fine, but after a month I cannot ping the gigabit ethernet 0/0 interface. I would have to manually reboot the router to get it to respond again. Before I noticed a lot of interface discards which would shutdown the 2911 and a manual reboot would be needed, but for this time it isn't the case. Where would I start with this the memory and cpu usage are fine.

I just hard coded the gigabit 0/0 to 1000 full duplex. The interface errors were occuring on the serial interfaces due to someone doing videoconferencing and trying to use more than 1.5Mbps over the T1. Once they throttled down the video conferencing equipment, the errors seemed to go away.

Dnsmasq stops after random periods of time
I have had dnsmasq running my localhost adblock since over a year and everything was working fine. However, since several weeks, I noticed that it just stops working after random periods of time.
I was unable to identify any error, and it starts just fine if I run it after it quits, but after several hours it quits again. Here's systemctl status dnsmasq output:

EVDRE reports stopped working though data in BI
Hello Experts,
I had created some reports in EVDRE, they were working perfectly fine for few days but all of a sudden they stopped working for me. When I "Expand All", everything clears out and all I have is a blank sheet. I checked the BI, data is there in the backend. The same reports are working on other users' machines but not for me; I tired logging in with my details on a colleague's machine and the report works. Then it stopped working on another user's machine also. I can understand if some report gets corrupted but then it should be for all the users. I am clue less.
Will be grateful for all guidance.
Rajat GuptaHi Gurus,
I have checked the AppSet status and I have administrator rights.
As i said the report was working with my login at another user's system but after a few days stopped working for him also. Its like EVDRE reports refuse to work smoothly after sometime.
I have read on SDN where people are saying EVDRE reports stopped working after sometime and they had to create new reports.
Request you to share your experiences where EVDRE has been running for say 2+ years. Does EVDRE work as expected for long periods of time or they are unstable?
Regards,
Rajat Gupta -
Firefox stops working properly after a period of time
btw, I can't type in this box. I'm typing this in another program and pasting it in.
Using Firefox 5. I just installed Lion yesterday for Mac, but this problem occurred even before I did so. After a period of time, FF stops working properly. I notice it when I try to open a new tab. It won't switch to the new tab and the screen turns blue. If I type in a web address, it looks like it tries to go there, but it doesn't. When I look at any other already open tab, it has the blue screen. I have to restart to get my proper web pages back.Whenever I click on "More System Details" there are several things I hope I won't see. Your Conduit Engine is one of them. It is malware by any reasonable definition and a cause of major problems with Firefox.
Google for information and advice as to how to get rid of it. Someone may come along with more specific advice..
If things aren't perfect after that you could do some straightforward troubleshooting(Safe Mode, Problematic Extensions, Hardware Acceleration etc) - in default theme -

Why does my iPad mini stop responding to wifi after a period of time?
Why does my iPad mini stop responding to wifi after a period of time?
For example, I can connect to wifi and use Safari and my iPad's interet capabilities with no problem. But if I then leave my iPad alone for an hour - when I go back to using it, it still shows as being connected to the wifi, but is unresponsive - i.e. web pages will not load etc. - I have to disconnect and reconnect to the wifi to make it responsive.
In advance, thanksTry #5
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

VPN stopped working after OS X 10.9.4 update
Hi,
I had a VPN configured for work which has been working forever but stopped working after the 10.9.4 upgrade.
Very basic setup:
L2TP over IPSec
Server address filled out
Account name filled out
Authentication settings
User Authentication - password kept empty, so it prompts for password
Machine authentication through certificate - certificate selected
Advanced
IPv4 over PPP
IPv6 automatic
When connecting after the 10.9.4 update after I entered my password and hitting connect it always says: the L2TP server did not respond .... what changed?
Thanks,
RubenI have same problem with L2TP connection.
This is my results, what's the problem?
