Safari Browser White Out in IPAD 3

Dear All,
I am experiencing an issue using ipad at our office for business.
We have a web application which is running continuously in safari browser. The site is 24x365 running in the ipad and the ipad is kept as a room terminal infront of meeting rooms so that staff can create room booking etc..The browser is refreshed at intervals ..
The issue I anm facing is sometimes the screen becomes full white and cant see anything in browser. we need to close the browser instance and open browser again to fix the issue.
Any one experienced this issue?? Any work arounds to avoid this from happening?

Is the iPad shared by everyone at this public setting?
There is currently no way to handle different users on the iPad (or any iOS device).
They are designed as single user devices.
If your company is eligible for an Enterprise account, then you could write an app that could handle clearing user credentials but not in the current "normal" environment.

It cannot be deleted or reinstalled. It is on the iPad somewhere.
Swipe from screen to screen to look for it.
Check Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure that you didn't disable it.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.

We have a web site being used on the iPad 3 through Safari.
Our web site is used in a public setting and multiple users login to use it at different times. We have a questions about user account security.
When a signed in user clicks the home button on the iPad , which minimize Safari and returns them to the home screen, can the user be signed out of our web site? We don’t want someone else to come and open the Safari browser and have access to the previous user's account information. Is there a client-side event that is triggered that we can handle so we can log the user out of the site?

Hi. When I opened my iPad 2 this morning, my Safire browser had disappeared. It opened in Google as my home page but I could not connect to the Internet.
What do I do to reconnect thru Safari? I have ATT wireless which was off for a while this morning but my computer came on with no problem once AT&T was up and running. Any help is truly appreciated. Thank you.

Most likely the iPad has been damaged and you will need to take or send it to Apple and pay for replacement. You can try giving it a firm slap on the back; that's corrected the problem for some people. If not, then a replacement will be necessary.

IPad Safari Browser isn't saving my router password

Hi guys, as title says, gets rather annoying. When the username and password field pops up when i go to 192.168.1.1 I input my username and password but it doesn't ask me to save it etc.
Is there any way to get my iPad and also iPhone to remember this?

I did think that however on my mac Safari and Chrome have both saved the password for the router.
Also, I use Vuze to download torrents, using Vuze remote to control it from my iPad/iPhone. I have to input a password to get to use Vuze remote (the same password screen that comes up when I have to enter a password for my router), this password doesn't save either.
However all other passwords save fine such as forum passwords, Facebook etc through Safari browser on my iPhone/iPad.

How do I restore the Safari browsing history on an iPad 1? When I click on the "open book" symbol and go to "history" there is nothing there. Need to check on what sites have been visited.

Private browsing is not one of my options. It says "general" at the top, then:
search engine
autoFill
Always Show Bookmarks Bar
Then, "Security" is next and under it:
Fraud warning
Javascript
Block Pop ups
Accept cookies
Clear History

I show no safari browsing history on my iPad 2. Does anyone know why?

Maybe you have private browsing enabled. Tap the + sign in the upper right hand side of the Safari toolbar. That opens a new tab. Look for the word Private in the lower left part of the screen. Tap the word Private to disable Private browsing and return to normal browsing.
One easy way to know if private browsing is enabled is that the Safari app will be black with white letters instead of white with black letters.

TS1702 I've done recent iOS update on IPad (2nd gen) and now game center will not open. and when I attempt to contact support it tells me that I need current safari browser, yet when I plug in it tells me all is up to date????????

Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

Flash image expands out of container only on Safari browser

I have this test page where flash image expands out of the container only on Safari browser, everything else works fine (I.E,Chrome,Mozilla,Opera) http://itmjobs.ro/lidl/eu.html . I have tried to insert flash image into a table, the same thing happent. I have tried to change iframe size to very small 10/10 just for test, I don't know how but only Safari it brings full size whatever I do.
Can anyone help to fix this problem ? Thank you

You may not like my answer but don't use Flash. Most web designers gave up on it long ago because the world's most popular web devices (iPhone, iPad, iTouch, Android, etc..) don't support Flash and never will.
If you want to reach a wider audience with fewer problems, use an image map and jQuery maphighlight script.

HT1454 Does tv out work with safari browser?

If I connect the iPad via composite av cable will I be able to display the screen of my iPad, as in a "tv out" function, when I am in the safari browser window?

I hope someone sees this who is more familiar with the equipment you are using. I think there are also Apple forums for education, where you may find someone doing what you are trying to do.
You might go ahead and invest in the Composite AV cable. It may be of use for other applications, even if it does not do exactly what you want here.
If you had the HDMI AV cable, it may be possible to find an HDMI-to-Composite adapter that would meet your needs.

Safari Browser Crashes - How to Reset the IPAD-2?

I have the latest IOS 8.x installed on my IPAD-2 but haven't been able to get the Safari Browser to work for several months. When I click Safari it opens for a few seconds then shuts down...I'm not able to input any web sites.
I tried settings->safari->clear history & website data but it didn't help. I tried rebooting the iPad by holding down the home & sleep/wake buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appeared, then let go & let the iPad boot up normally....Safari still won't open.
I guess I'd like to completely erase/reset the IPAD to it's original state in hopes of getting Safari to work. Is there a procedure?

Well you can plug it into itunes and under summary tab hit RESTORE. This should fix any software issues that you may be experiencing. About gamepass, I dont know, I dont have it. Siri is not on the IPAD2. Only on the 3rd generation Ipad, so you wont have it(going by ipad2 under your name).

You cannot remove safari from the iPad, it is built in to the operating system. How exactly did you remove & reinstall it? You can hide the safari icon by enabling it in restrictions.
Go to settings->safari->clear history & website data. Try opening it again.
IF still no luck, reboot your iPad by holding down the home & sleep/wake buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the Appke logo appears, then let go & let the iPad boot up normally.
Try opening safari again.

Since I signed up with I-cloud, it backed up my Ipad and converted my original version of Safari browser.... I do not get the seprate window tabs anymore, how can I get that version back?

Since I signed up with Ipad, they changed something in my Ipad2 version "SAFARI BROWSER"
now I have a version of a browser with tabs rather than the window tabs....how can I get this back

This is what I was told:
Double tap the home key...press and hold the icon...when the minus appears on the icon, tap the minus.
This will delete the aforementioned icon from the task bar. When the icon disappears, the browser, or any app, is then closed.
Is that correct?

Problem which im facing is when the focus goes to new window below part of code not getting invoked after ajax call completed in parent window.
-> It gets invoke only when i select parent window where the original Ajax call has happened.
