I received a text today while at work about iCloud keychain verification code. I have not signed up for it or anything that uses it. I work out of the city with limited internet access so not sure why I would be getting this. I only got this number about a month ago. Apparently someone else had the number before because I get texts from his family members wondering whats going on. I got one yesterday and the person didn't seem to thrilled that the number was cutoff and today I got 2 texts about iCloud Keychain which I don't even know what it is. Seems suspicious to me. If the person who use to own the number is doing it he should know it is not his number anymore because he obviously didn't pay his bills. I'm not too sure about iCloud Keychain so just want to know my info safe?? It says it can store credit card numbers which is what gets me worried. Frankly I think it's pretty stupid to save that kind if information with any kind of app. But I don't want some random person trying to access my personal information because they are bitter they lost their number. Please let me know as soon as possible so I can change passwords or anything that is needed.

Trying to download iTunes 64-bit version on my new Windows 7 PC. Getting the error 'could not locate "%APPDATA%". How do I get past this error? The software doesn't install. Appreciate if someone in the forum can help.
The backup and restore from the iCloud was a little unnerving since the restore erased all information from the iPod. The iCloud backup and restore took a long time, but worked. I was very grateful.
Trying again to backup to iTunes locally proved to be the same challenging problem. The same backup to corrupt file was the message. The status bar showing backup seemed to move faster to start, but then slowed to a creep toward the end before the error.
When trying to restore a backup in iTunes, the "Restore" button is grayed out since it is looking for a local copy. Any restore would need to be from the iCloud which already worked but isn't the final solution.
Your suggestions were good, I am just in the same boat. Any thoughts about doing the following?
1) creating a cloud backup
2) resetting the iPod to factory defaults
3) removing all traces of iTunes from my computer and
4) installing iTunes and setting up iPod from scratch.

Photos from the Internet will not load correctly. I get white boxes with blue question marks inside. This has only been happening for the past 3 weeks so I'm not sure why it is happening.
Yes - email & text work fine but when I use something like Google Images or search a blog with imbedded photos I get the empty white boxes with question marks. If I click the question mark it opens the photo but I can't possibly do that for EVERY image on EVERY page I search!?!?! I've rebooted the iPad & my wireless card several times but neither action helped. Have any clue what I should do now?

I have now tried a billion things: None of them work. I still get the same error message, when I try to launch iTunes after logging into my user profile. However, I can launch iTunes 6.0.1 if I create another userprofile on my computer and log into that. But that isn't very helpful. I have also tried removing iTunes 6.0.1 and installing iTunes 4.7 instead. I can actually launch that. However, I cannot connect to the iTunes music store using iTunes 4.7 nor can I play any of the music purchased from the iTunes music store. What am I to do, except curse Apple for creating a version of iTunes that many people seem to have problems with?

windows vista not recognizing my iphone4s when i open itunes, keep getting trust / dont trust message on phone and always press trust. Not sure why it's started doing it. Can not synch iphone at all or add new music....as itunes does not pick up the phone I have connected anymore. My ipod synchs fine still and thats over 6 years old!

My iphone5 crashed Wed May 29 and I am not sure why.. I had to do a restore and have been trying to slowly get everything back on the phone... Yesterday June 6 it blacked out once and I don't have everything on the phone as before.... Is it damaged and should I try to get a new one?

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. I still get the notification that my phone needs to be plugged in and connected to wifi in order to back up to the cloud :-(
How can I sync using USB? Right now when i click on the info tab for my iPhone in my iTunes this is the answer that I get -- I am a little unclear as to what it means.

I keep getting an "unknown error" when I am trying to install an app. After I have put my correct apple ID in.
First, turn off your CAPS lock. Typing in all CAPS is considered screaming/yelling and many will simply ignore your posting.
Are you currently having issues? Is it when trying to purchase only on the device? Are you able to complete purchases via iTunes on your computer? -
I am not able to convert movies, keep getting this message The document “The Walking Dead Trailer - YouTube-2.mp4” could not be opened. The movie's file format isn't recognized. not sure why, anybody know
Sounds like someone ripped the movie off of YouTube and it got corrupted in the process. Try getting the movie file again, or try using an alternative movie player such as VLC: http://www.videolan.org

I am trying to delete an XLS file from a network drive and am getting a message that says the file cannot be deleted because it is in use. I can't see where it is in use and have tried to reboot the computer to no avail. I can delete other files but several XLS files are giving me this message.
You said it was a network drive. So is someone else on the network using that same file or may have have left with excel still accessing it on their system?

Hi, I have a problem with getting my apple Id working for me. It's been 2 months since it happened and Apple failed to act. I can tell my story proerly, but am not sure, you guys can help, so I just copy my message to them today, I am trying to get it across all the places around to pay their attention. I am sorry to say that, but your security makes my life miserable – it’s been 2 months since my Apple ID account got stuck, and since then I cannot update 37 applications (to date), i.e. most of my applications. Half of them I bought. I also paid for iCloud, and it is not working. I paid money and I am stuck with old applications and no iCloud. Your security *****. Your service ***** too. It took your service 1 month to finally understand why this happened to me, and it took me tens of emails to you and 3 hours of telephone conversation to find out the reason for my problem. And the problem is still not fixed. NOT FIXED. You just leave your customer – the one who paid you money and spent so much time with you trying to help you help me – and nothing. You tell me: “Vitas, Stick your stinky iphone in your *** and enjoy life, we do not care!” *************.
It is ******* outrageous, and you should know that, guys. Get into the ******* database and correct the bug. Get someone in the partners-telephone carriers company (it is Orange as carreer and Cellcom as seller of the phone) authorized to Identify me in personal encounter in one of the branches in Israel (where I live) and make sure it is really me, and get the ******* system accept my password and let me use my phone.
Otherwise **** off. None of my friends will get my advise to buy an iphone or any of apple products. And I think you should be very attentive to cases like this, guys. Vitas DijokasWell, it seems waiting is not my strong suit..! I renamed a javascript file called recovery to sessionstore. This file was in the folder sessionstore-backups I had copied from mozilla 3 days ago, when my tabs were still in place. I replaced the sessionstore in mozilla's default folder with the renamed file and then started mozilla. And the tabs reappeared as they were 3 days ago!
So there goes the tab problem. But again when I started mozilla the window saying "a script has stopped responding" appeared, this time the script being: chrome//browser/contenttabbrowser.xml2542
If someone knows how to fix this and make firefox launch normally, please reply! Thank you -

We had a MacBook Pro stolen from our home when we were out of town and I am pretty sure we never activated the LoJack type of function on it not sure if its called lojack but you get what I am saying is there any way we can activate such hardware/app now so we can possibly recover our laptop? Any one who can point us in the right direction that would be great and we would be very grateful. Thanks So MuchLojack for laptops - if that is the product you purchased and installed, you will need to read the user manual or contact the manufacturer as it is 3rd party. You did file a police report right?

ITunes application support download error
I started getting an msvrc80.dll error. Followed instructions to delete and reinstall itunes. During the install I get a message that the mobile app and application support won't start. Tried the retry and ignore options, but can't get itunes rein

:( Failed install of CS2 now 'puter hangs when logged in
I was in the middle of installing Adobe CS2, when I closed the lid on my laptop just a bit too far, it caused the install to hang. when i opened it back up - everything was froze. i restarted by holding down the power button, when everything came bac
