Hi Joel,
3 com.apple.Foundation 0x94926f14 -[NSHTTPCookieDiskStorage(NSInternal) _saveCookies] + 0x11c
That probably means there was a problem saving/reading to the cookies files.
Try moving /Users/YourUsername/Library/Cookies/Cookies.plist onto your Desktop and then relaunching Safari.
If that works it means the file is corrupt and you can delete it.

  • Safari launches SLOWLY and then crashes

Safari takes several minutes to launch or connect to a URL then immediately crashes. Last night I downloaded the latest Safari update for Panther, hoping that it might fix the problem. It didn't. Internet Explorer works fine, so it is not a connection issue.
I have thought about uninstalling Safari and downloading a fresh version.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Joel,
I don't know why the lastest Safari for Panther/OS X 10.3.9 is crashing for you, but a generic troubleshooting step for any recalcitrant OS X application is to try launching it
    b without
its preference file, in case that is damaged.
    The
    b easiest
way to do that, is to create a new Account using the
    b Accounts
preference pane, logging into that new Account and then launching Safari from there. If it behaves correctly than you know it's something unique to the other account, perhaps the preference file.
Your Safari preference files for each account are located here:
    /Users/userid/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
With browsers, another common source of problems is with 3rd-party plugins or Safari enhancement programs. It's not that they are
    b bad
per se, but they have to be updated everytime Safari changes, and it's easy to forget that you've installed them.
Also some 3rd-party browser plug-ins are problematic. They usually live here:
    /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
But you can turn them off temporarily here: Safari > Preferences... > Security
Finally, all browsers cache various page elements to keep things snappy, but these caches can get large over time. In Safari use the Safari > Empty Cache... menu item.
    best of luck,
    ...ben
PS. While you are troubleshooting Safari, don't let this stop you from surfing the web. OS X users are lucky to have so many browsers from which to choose: Camino, Firefox, iCab, Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Netscape, OmniWeb, Opera, Shiira, and of course Safari.

  • PSE 8 Editor opens and then crashes...with report

I'm running PSE8 with Windows Vista SP2. The organizer opens fine, but the editor opens briefly and then crashes with the report crash screen appearing. I've been though cpsid_51562 from top to bottom with no success. Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this porblem?

For Win Vista + Editor this is the last I can suggest : http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405398.html

    afrill,
It seems that you file has become corrupted.
One thing often tried first is to create a new document and File>Place the corrupted one to see how much may be rescued that way.
Here is a website where you can see whether it can rescue the file, and if it can, you may pay for a subscription to have it done,
    http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/buy_illustrator.html
    and another similar website,
    http://markzware.com/adobe-software/fix-illustrator-file-unknown-error -occurred-pdf2dtp-file-recovery/
As far as I remember, the former is for Win and the latter for Mac.
Here are a few pages about struggling with it yourself:

  • My iTunes on my iMac is in an endless loop of starting on it's own and then crashing

How do I stop this endless loop of iTunes starting on it's own and then crashing only to begin over and over again? It has made using my iMac useless as the crash report window always covers whatever other window I have open.  Since it's in an endless loop, closing the window will do no good as the next crash will cause the window again to cover all work! I'm using a mid 2007 iMac with Lion and the latest version of iTunes.  I'm starting to feel like my mac is Microsoft Windows machine with the constant crashing! Thank goodness it's only the iTunes program that's crashing and not the computer!

    Try This...
Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
    Release the Buttons...
    Note:
Also consider Deleting any Apps you have Purchased / Downloaded but you now never use..

  • Scrabble HD app starts and then crashes

I purchased the Scrabble HD app - 10 bucks. It starts up and then crashes immediatly. I deleted and downloaded it again - same things. Anyone have any other suggestions.

    Hi there Radio Head,
I would recomment taking a look at the troubleshooting steps found in the article below. It looks like you may need to contact the developer as a next step.

  • Since new update of program the browser keeps hanging and then crashing

Ever since the last update of the firefox browser the browser takes too long to open and also it hangs a lot and then crashes and when it starts again it either is unable to open to the pages it has crashed at or just does not restart. I am having to turn off computer to restart the browser and that too at times does not start I have to bomb out thru task manager and restart.
I have now tried re installing Firefox twice but to no effect.
Before I switch over to another browser I would request your assistance.

    Hi Ben.
I believe that means you must have been in the root library. You need to be in the Home library. From the Finder menu>Go. Hold down the option key to reveal the Home Library choice from the drop down.

The format keeps changing but the basics remain...in the center of the screen are large images of the recent apps which you can close by swiping up and away.

The other day i deleted my email accounts off of my ipod and only reloaded a few of them. today i looked at my notes to look at a project i had typed on my notes because i didnt have paper and pen around to write it and i didnt want to froget. I reloaded the rest of my emails in hope that everything would reappear but sadly only some of them from 2010 loaded. Recently i had update some of the files and they were like they were when i first created them there were alos ones that i had deleted long ago. There are other notes i had made that were really important to me to andi wouldn't be able to remember every single one. Help Please!

Are you using the Office for Mac 2011 version, as you need to do?  The Office for Mac 2004 is Not at all compatible with Mountain Lion, and the 2008 version has been noted to have some problems running with ML.
    Hope this helps

Have you tried logging out of your CC desktop app, then logging back in again? Quit/Restart won't work, but logging out and back in should. See here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

  • I open tools and then downloads. I am unable to open any of the files in the download screen

I open tools and then downloads. A screen pops up with files I have downloaded through Firefox. I right click on a file and the open option is not highlighted. When I click it the file will not open. This is a new problem as this feature has worked before.

If Open and Open Containing Folder in the right-click context menu in the Download Manager window are grayed then that means that the file is no longer in the original download location. <br />
It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.<br />
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
See "Disable virus scanning in Firefox preferences - Windows"
