Sales analysis by document shipping code (Logistics - Ship to)

I wish to either sort the Sales Analysis report by the BP Shipping Address (of documents) or create a similar report through XL Reporter (current version is 2007A PL:38)
Basically, we have a need to report a particular customer's recent purchases (date range) of a specific line of items (item range) filtered by one specific shipping address (customer has one billing address and several shipping addresses).
The Sales Analysis report seems very static in the sense that you cannot add additional fields to the output of the report (after being generated) via the Forms Setting button.  Also, while the Items tab of the Sales Analysis report satisfies part of need to report by date, range, item range and customer range, but we can not filter or drill down effectively to know what items were shipped to specific drop location (ship-to-address).
In XLR, I have only had success in filtering dimensions (not light dimensions).  I suspect I could bring the Business Partner and Ship-to Code to the Selection area and filter the BP by CardCode (this is a dimension) and then manually create an expression similar to OINV ( ShipToCode = "PlaceXYZ" ) with the intention of filtering the results by the document ship-to code.
If XLR is used, I would like to be able to filter by "closed" A/R Invoices only if someone could help with this aspect as well.
I seem to have hit a stumbling block with these two avenues so I would greatly appreciate some assistance.  Thanks in advance.

Hi Pat,
Based on what you need to do, I suggest you just using query since it has the greatest flexibility.  If you concern about the format, QLD can be used for basic formatting so that you can have a "Report".

    When a Sales Invoice document is added to the system using the Drop Ship warehouse, then in the report 'Stock Posting List' it does not display the document, which is correct since a Drop Ship warehouse is used.
    However, the report 'Sales Analysis Report' displays the Invoice, but it also shows the quantity that is used in the document, which is not correct.
    Why is this happening? Is there any setting that excludes the display of the quantity of the document from the 'Sales Analysis Report', when the Drop Ship Warehouse is used?

    Sorry, but in my opinion it's correct.
    We also use Drop Ship and like you said in the Stock Posting List we don't have any document and it's perfect. In other way when we sell an item we want and it's true the quantity that B1 is showing.
    We want to see the for a itemcode we sold 100qty qith the value of 1000.
    There's no way to avoid this SAP B1 behaviour.

    Read table TVKO to get the sales organizations (field VKORG) for the company code (BUKRS). This query might result into multiple VKORG entries.
    Read deliveries (LIKP) with VKORG as input to get all deliveries for the sales organziation.

  • XL-Reporter - sales analysis including row discount and document discount

    Hello World!
    In XLR I want to report all item-sales to customers grouped by item-groups based on invoives.
    Since I am interested only in net amounts (without tax, freight and other expenses) and discounts I use 'S0_LineTotal' as attribute.
    'SO_LineTotal' includes the discount of each item-row in the document.
    The row selection is as follows:
    FACT
    ARDT(Code = "ARCreditMemo","Invoice")
    FIG(SO_DocType = "I")
    ITM( * ) 
    Group By ITM.ItmsGrpCod
    The problem is that I also have to include the document discount 'OINV.DiscSum' in the result.
    In combination with the row selection specified above the attribute 'Total Discount' delivers no results (always 0).
    In the standard SAP report 'Sales - AR/Sales reports/Sales Analysis' the total discount is averaged to all items in the matrix of a document.
    How can I achieve this in my XL-Report?

    Hello,
    To get this, I tried drag following information from Report composer:
    Under Sales tab, choose Items(Display more atrributes to choose Item Group), Document Number(choose this one because same items may have different discount in different documents), Discount % Per Row(light dimension),Discount % Per Document(light dimension), Row Total(measure).
    Drag the Item Group to the Group region.
    Run the report and the result should be all items are grouped by item Group and discounts and total in different document for each item will be listed.

    I want to print sales order number in case of drop ship in Standard PO Print report..But I am not getting any tag related to that..

    If the strategy is MTS then in my understanding you cannot get any sales order order number with reference to
    production made
    Reason is in MTS production will be made collectively without reference to sales order
    where as in MTO it does with reference to sales order

    You can do this:-
    SELECT VBELN FROM LIKP
    INTO TABLE T_DELIVERIES
    WHERE KUNNR = SHIP TO PARTY
    AND     KUNAG = SOLD TO PARTY
    AND LFDAT      = DEL DATE.
    You will get a table containing the list of deliveries.
    Use VBFA to get the sales orders from deliveries.
    SELECT VBELV FROM VBFA
    INTO TABLE T_SALESORDERS
    WHERE VBTYP_N = 'J'
    AND     VBELN  = T_DELIVERIES-VBELN.
    T_SALESORDERS WILL give you list of sales orders.
    From Sales Orders you can get Purchase orders through EKKN Table.
    Using EKKN pass T_SALESORDERS-VBELN and get corresponding EBELN.

  • Company code and  Ship-To Party: variable values should be dynamic

    We have queries where we have  Company code & Ship-To Party as Variable parameters.
    While executing the report the user has to give the Variable values for both company code and ship to party.
    But when they give the company code.....in the next parameter ship to party, it has to offer values which belongs to that company code only. But here it is offering all values form ship to party., where user don't want to see the value from other company code as they have lot of values there which is causing inconvenience to the user.
    Kindly suggest me how to restrict the values at variable level.

    You can do that using BADI BW_BADI_F4 .
    You can use this BAdI to restrict input help for entry variables in the BI variable screen.
    Create a separate implementation for each required InfoObject.
    The BAdI is designed for multiple use.
    Restricting input help without using hierarchies
    To restrict input help for flat object lists without using hierarchies, use method Get_Restriction_Flat.
    Method GET_RESTRICTION_FLAT
    I_VNAM Variable
    I_IOBJNM InfoObject
    I_T_VAR_RANGE Table of entries on the variable screen
    I_T_COMPID Table of participating queries
    C_T_RANGE Range table with other restrictions
    C_INFOPROV InfoProvider
    C_F4_Mode F4 mode
    Entry parameters I_VNAM and I_IOBJNM return the names of the variables and the InfoObject that F4 helpwill be affected for. I_T_VAR_RANGE returns additional values from the variable screen entered beforethe call. These are returned in a range table that does not, however, return any information about variables that cannot be entered. I_T_COMPID is a list of participating BI queries.
    If there is a single InfoProvider, entry and return parameter C_INFOPROV contains the InfoProvider forthe participating queries, and can be overwritten in the implementation. Especially when you have justone MultiProvider, this allows you to restrict the input help to one of the physical InfoProviders ifyou also set the F4 mode to u201CDu201D (input help from dimension tables).     Return table C_T_RANGE is a range table of additional restrictions that can be used in the implementation.These restrictions are identical to restrictions that the system makes in the standard setting. It is therefore not possible to add to the list.
    The following restrictions are permitted in C_T_RANGE:
    u2022Restrictions for InfoObject I_IOBJNM itself (for example using a specified range)
    u2022Restrictions to groups of InfoObjects (for example restriction of the fiscal year variant for fiscal years)
    u2022Restrictions by the InfoObjectu2019s navigation attributes.
    For technical reasons, pure display attributes cannot be used.
    You can also make a restriction to physical InfoProviders. In this case, the input help is restrictedto the specified physical InfoProviders. Field IOBJNM in table C_T_RANGE then has to be set to 0INFOPROV.In the case of a MultiProvider using physical InfoProviders with mode u201CDu201D (input help from dimension tables), the input help is built from all participating physical InfoProviders.
    Entry and return parameter C_F4_MODE describes the retrieval method for the F4 help:

    The choice of method is therefore always dependent on the choice of InfoProvider.
    Restricting input help using hierarchies

    On the whole, this method is the same as method GET_RESTRICTION_FLAT. Instead of a C_T_RANGE, the additional node restrictions can be submitted using table C_T_NODE.
    C_T_HIERARCHY contains the hierarchies that can be used based on the existing query restrictions. Ifthis table contains multiple entries, the system uses the first hierarchy in the standard setting. In a BAdI implementation, specific entries can be removed in order to select the required hierarchy.
    Table C_T_NODE can be filled with individual nodes in order to restrict the hierarchy to the corresponding subtrees.
    All other parameters are the same for Get_Restriction_Node as described above for method Get_Restriction_Flat.

    Hi Pradeep,
    I must say that your questions seem so "general" you may have difficulty getting satisfactory details in the answers.  But let's try anyway.
    The main reason that GTS is not highly relevant to the type of logistics/shipping company (3PL ?)  that you are talking about is that the shipper (US Principal Party of Interest) is ultimately responsible for compliance with legal regulations.  Since that cannot be 'delegated', many are reluctant to allow a 3PL to own and maintain the system that controls the compliance activities.  Instead, what some opt to do is implement GTS with their enterprise systems (SAP or non-SAP) and allow the 3PL employees to log into their GTS systems through VPN to conduct various shipping activities and print certain forms relevant for export.  Having worked for a 3PL in the past, I can also say that I don't believe many of them are interested in "owning" GTS as a tool.
    There is a company that "hosts" GTS systems and you simply pay a monthly fee to use it.  This setup might be more interesting to you and maybe to the 3PL you are talking about.
    There is no "typical" time to implement GTS.  Because it is such a robust and flexible system with so many functionalities related to global trade, an implementation could range from weeks to years.  You will get a better answer to question #2 if you provide details of the functionality you need.  Santioned Party List screening?  Export License Control?  Trade Preference?  Risk Management?  Customs Imports?  Customs Exports?  Intrastat Reporting?  Letter of Credit? 
    Only SAP or a certified SAP reseller will be able to give you an accurate idea of the cost for your GTS license.  It depends upon how much of the system you will implement and in some cases, the volume of data flowing through.

    I create sale Invoice having Qty 2 unit price 150 & tax code is VAT@4% then Base amount is 300 & Total Bill
    amt is 312.
    My purchase price for the same item is INR 100 so my Gross profit show on Bill is INR 100 & profit percent
    is 33.33%
    Customer will debit with INR 312
    But when Create Rate difference bill ie credit memo of INR 20 per uint ie Qty 2 Tax VAT@4%  (maintain
    drop ship warehouse in row level to can't reduce the qty)
    Customer will debit -41.60
    So Customer Debit balance is 270.40
    But when I run Sale analysis report the result shows that Gross profit INR 260 & Gross Profit % is 100%
    But actually i calculated manually the real Profit is INR 60 & Profit % should be 23.08 should be show in sale
    analysis
    So what i do to see the same result

  • Data Ownership in Sales Analysis Report

    The company has sales employees around the world and the company is not interested that each of them
    can see the others sales, so when an employee runs a sales analysis report they should only see
    their own documents but it not happened despite the data ownership funtion was activated and all the
    options related with the sales analysis excluded forms was filtered by header only.
    According to SAP Support team their comments were:
    "We have reproduced the issue in our testing database. After verification, we noted that this is the current system definition as described in the attached Data_Ownership2004_A.pdf file. In page 11, it mentions that Data Ownership Authorizations apply to sales and purchasing documents, the Open Items List, Sales Opportunities and Sales Opportunities Reports. This is why the header filtration does n ot work in Sales Analysis Report.
    As the requirement is currently not available in the standard software version of SAP Business One, we would like to ask you post your requirement in our SAP Business One Product Development Collabora tion forum."
    Due to the current situation and the disconfort that this can produce, I will appreciate a lot your help.

    Good afternoon. Looking for a bit if help/advice.
    I'm not a complete novice to SAP but what I need is confusing me slightly. I understand the sales analysis report uses many different table as part of its calculations. A company I've recently began working for, who has had SAP for a while, has used sales analysis reports alongside some bespoke reports that are reporting different data.
    Here is their report:

    How would I go about this? Can I extract parts of the sales analysis report somehow and run it as a query I can manipulate?

    Could you please go to Administration -> Setup -> Business Partners -> Countries and check the 'Address Format' selected for the specific country, then go to Administration -> Setup -> Business Partners -> Address Format and open the format just checked, then click on 'Country' and make sure 'Description' is ticked.
    It should work, please have a try.
