Sales Area synchronization between CRM and ECC is not working

Dear Experts,
In CRM Customer master record we are maintaining Sales organization, Distribution Channel and Division (Sales Area) under Sales Area tab.
The Same Sales Area is downloaded from back-end ECC system.
when I create new customer in CRM, Sales Area data is not downloading to ECC system. I have maintained all settings but could not find why the problem is coming.
I request you to help me in resolving this issue.
Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

    Hi cbafiero,
It seems that the problem lies in your router. I'm not sure exactly what the issue is (I've just now discovered it myself), but after switching from a Linksys WRT54GX2 to a thrift store Netgear, my shared libraries appeared instantly. My gut is telling me that the Linksys routers are blocking the multicast traffic, which is stupid on Linksys's part, to filter traffic internally. I'll look more into the Netgear and see what it has that the Linksys doesn't (or vice versa).

  • What is the difference of  customer master data  between CRM and ECC

    Dear all,
We are helping  customer to  evaluate using CRM or ECC to manage there customer master data, focusing on the benefit of using CRM system.
Can any one help to compare the difference between these two system?
some tips in my mind are:
    1. CRM has a friendly user interface for user to adjust the layout, hide/display  favourite information according to actuall req.
    2. In CRM, user can change the field/assignment block description easilly
    3. in CRM7.0, user can add new customzing field easilly via AET
    4. CRM has a good any analysis platform to provide pie chart analytic
    5. CRM store more customer infor. than ECC, such as Marketing attribute, account classfication...anything else?
any other benefit to use CRM for customer master data? Pls help!!!
    Thanks very much!!
    BR,
    Hedy

I would agree with most of the topics you mentioned. Just one remark to topic number 5. Business partner doesn't have more data than erp. It has some more marketing oriented data, but on other hand doesn't have all finincial and credit data that are relevant for erp financial transactions.
In our company we have the following scenario: all business partners are created in crm (because there the sales activities are started and because we don' clasify at the begining all partners as customers but as prospects. and of course it has nicer user interface). but when we are closing the deals (ordreds are transfered to erp), we fill some additional (financial) data of that partner on erp side and clasify partners as customers.

  • Interconnection between HP and Cisco is not working

    Dear all,
I support some old colleagues by connecting a Cisco 2960x with an HP Switch. Both sides are UP/UP, stp is fine, channel also. The Cisco switch is also fine. But not data traffic is working.
I see that we are sending but not receicing any packet. the same on the other side. We checked the cabeling use different fibers, etc. everything is fine. when we connect a copper port, its also fine. Online on the LWL side we have this problem. But interface and line protocol is UP.
Is there any command I may not know to check the LWL. UDLD is not working because we have just on cisco on one end. test tdr works only on copper. I guess there is something wrong with the compatibility between the both Gbics, but i can't exaclty say what it is. We use monomode and LX Gbic.
On another Core Switch HP/Cisco is working finde with SX.
I don't have live access, so sorry for any delay in my answer.
    regards,
    Sebastian

  • Flowcontrol between 3560 and 2950 does not work?

    flowcontrol receive on
    end
    connected to
    ============
    C2950 Software (C2950-I6K2L2Q4-M), Version 12.1(22)EA6, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

    switchport mode trunk

    flowcontrol receive on
    flowcontrol send on

Port Gi0/1 on 2950 has sometimes no buffer and drops packets:

Port Send FlowControl Receive FlowControl RxPause TxPause
    admin oper admin oper
    Gi0/1 on on on on 0 0
What am I doing wrong? I have realized that this data overload is caused by
server with 1Gbs interface pushing data to server with 100 Mbs interface.
I vould expect it should not affect a trunk with flowcontrol on.
    Tomas

By wild guess, is the flowcontrol also enabled at the interface to / at both servers ? If there is only flowcontrol between switches but no flowcontrol at servers then it may create the problem. Please advise more.
Moreover, if you transmit 10 times of traffic to a receiver that it can handle, there may be packet drop and flowcontrol to ask for retransmittion.

  • HDMI CABLE BETWEEN LAPTOP AND TV WILL NOT WORK HELPPLEASE!!

I wanted to watch hockey from my laptop on the tv but i get nothing when i hook the cable. Is there something that has to be set or turned on??
I bought the computer about a year ago so it is not old.    The computer is a;       Dell  Inspiron  1525   and the TV is a;   Visio 42 inch
    Any help will make me happy,  Thank you,   Mike         {Removed per Forum Guidelines}

Majority of laptops are going to have a default setting of outputting video just to the display. You actually have to tell the laptop to display images out of the HDMI rather than it's screen. This is usually done by holding the "Function Key" down and cycling thru the video output options. The "function" or  "fn" key can be located in the lower left hand portion of your keyboard next to the "ctrl" button your video options are typically worked in with your F1 - F12 bottons at the top of your keyboard. Your "FN" key will most likely be a different color than the rest of the keyboard hold this down while searching for your video output key (once again in  you F1 - F12 keys) it will have a monitor logo that should be the same color as the "FN" key. Keep holding the "FN" key down and tap the video output key to cycle thru all the options until you find the right one.

  • Airdrop between Mac and iOS does not work

I am using a MBP (early 2011) OS X 10.10  and a iPhone 5s iOS 8.0.2 and I cant get a airdrop connection between them. Same WiFi and Bluetooth is on.
I bet my MBP is too old and does not support some kind of Bluetooth standard....correct? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hey guys,
Just wanted to put my 2 cents in and say that using my iPhone 5S and MacbookPro Early 2011 I was able to use both the SMS relay feature and the Phone call receive feature. So I'm not sure where the line is drawn for certain continuity features. I haven't had any handoff features work yet which I don't expect to happen since seamlessly moving something like a Pages files to different devices to continue working on would suggest the need for efficient Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities.
I'm really surprised that they limited the Airdrop from iOS to OS X to the 2012 or older mac models. I mean the bluetooth hardware in the iPhone should be backwards compatible so I see no reason why it couldn't be done between older macs that supported the mac-to-mac feature but didn't have Bluetooth 4.0. just means ill be using the instashare app to take its place... hopefully hey update with some iOS 8 extensibility features, that would make it a perfect solution.

  • Raw images are rendering dark green, and Raw FT not working

Upon loading Raw files from a Canon T5i into Aperture, the previews, when re-rendered by Aperture, turn a dark greenish hue. I've verified that the Digital Camera Raw software is up to date and my Camera is supported.
The second issue is that when I select "Raw Fine Tuning" from the "add adjustment" menu, nothing happens. The dialogue does not appear, and the RFT line does not get a bullet in the drop-down list.
I've recently installed Aperture 3.5.1 on a new machine, and haven't had this problem on the previous one.
Any help will be very much appreciated! Thanks.

As one test, please select one of these photos, in Adjustments click on Effects, then White Balance, and choose Auto.  What happens?

  • CRM and ECC  6.0

    Hi Gurus,
Can any one tell me the difference in functionalities between crm and ecc 6.0?
Or ecc6.0 is integrated with crm?
What all functionalities of crm can be configured through ecc 6.0?
Whether we require a seperate crm system like the R/3 4.7 and connect it through the middleware
    Please suggest at the earliest
    Thanks in advance
    Ajay

    Hi Ajay,
This question could have saved us all this efforts
Btw, opportunity management is used to capture the potential customers info. It helps to capture the buying pattern, the source from which this opportunity is captured, the probability of winning the order. Also we can maintain the various stages of Oppoprtunity and the activities that need to be performed in each phase. You can also maintain the competitor info in opportunity.
Also if you are using PCUI, the opportunity created in CRM5.0 using PCUI can be created as Sales Quotation in ECC.
The opportunity is not replicated in ECC otherwise.
The opportunity can be then followed up by sales order which can then be replicated into ECC.
More info is available on http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/5b/60c565c63d5a4d8200472b6008eb92/frameset.htm
    Hope this will help

  • Steps involved in setting up communication between CRM and R3 / ECC

    Hi all,
Can you please tell what are the steps involved in setting up communication between CRM and R3 or ECC.
I know that initially logical systems, RFC connections and other technical settings need to be done by Basis consultants.
From a functional consultants viewpoint, what all config settings need to be done so that data transfer between the systems can take place?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
There are a series of steps that are to be done...
These include creating sites and subscription in CRM, setting up filters, and number ranges....
All these are in the connectivity guide C71 and replication guide B09.
Refer C71 first and then B09. These would suffice.
You can get these both in the follwoing reference:
    http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv340/CRM_DE/index.htm
If you dont get, then gimme your email id, i shall forward these docs to you.
Kindly reward with points in case helpful

  • Need to transfer field KLABC (ABC Classification) between CRM and R/3

    Hello Group,
We plan to make the R/3 field KLABC (ABC Classification) of a customer (R/3 Table KNVV, Attribute KLABC) available in SAP CRM under Customer's sales area data. It should also be maintainable in SAP CRM.
After some analysis we found out, that this field also exists in SAP CRM (Table SMOKNVV, Attribute KLABC) but it is not replicated between CRM and R/3 (and vice versa). Also this field is not displayed in SAP GUI as well as not in the PCUI.
Now we are analyzing the two options:
    1) Make KLABC from table SMOKNVV available in SAP CRM (and PCUI) for maintenance and extend the Middleware to enable the replication of KLABC between CRM and R/3
    2) Extend the customers sales area data in CRM (PCUI) by a new attribute „ZKLABC“ and extend the Middleware to enable replication between R/3 KLABC and the newly created ABC attribute in CRM
    We have the following questions:
    - What would be the better & easier approach ? Any recommendation or comment is highly appreciated.
    - If we choose option 2, to what extend would the SAP CRM Easy Enhancement Workbench (EEWB) support this development (Is it possible to extend the business partners sales area data with EEWB ? Does the EEWB also extend BDocs if you add new fields to Business Partner tables ?)
    Background Information:
We have SAP CRM 4.0 SP8, R/3 4.7 and SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0
    Thanks a lot for help,
    Erik

    Hello Frédéric,
no, I do not have the middleware enhancement guide. Do you have it electronically and could send it to me erikmueller (at) gmx.de ?
In CRM would make the field KLABC from table SMOKNVV available in PCUI? Or would you use the Easy Enhancement Workbench to introduce a new field?
Either way I the middleware would need to be enhanced, but I would like to understand what is easier in CRM to have the field available in PCUI.
    Thanks for the info.
    Regards,
    Erik

  • How does the integration between CRM and SD occur

How does the integration between CRM and SD occur?  Is only via ALE and are there config steps in CRM to ensure the correct data mapping between CRM and SD?
So, if I create an order or quote in CRM how is it then created in SD?  Or do they share the same data store.
    thanks

    Hi John,
Here is good documentation regarding Data Exchange for Sales Transactions: the CRM Enterprise and the ERP System are two different repositories, If you create the Sales Order in CRM then they will be replicated into SD (using CRM Middleware, BDoc's)

4)if i maintain it in ECC, how to download it to CRM?
    Thanks!!

    Arun,
In CRM the sales organization is an organizational unit object that has an attribute that corresponds to the 4 digit sales organization code in ERP.  This is also true for purchasing organizations which are organizational units that have ERP purchase org code as an attribute.
So to do this you need to translate the organizational unit number based on the attributes of that organizational unit(sales or purchasing).
    Take care,
    Stephen
