Sales order not set to complete status in CRM from R/3

Hi Gurus,
I need some advice. We are working on CRM 2007 and the issue we are facing is....when a sales order is created in CRM it gets successfully copied over to R/3. It is then processed in R/3 and is then set to a Completed status. But this status is never updated across to the original sales order in CRM which hence stays in Incomplete status...
We know this is a config issue and we have also looked at program "CRM_SET_STATUS_COMPLETED" but can anyone point us where exactly we need to change the configuration.
Thanks,
Sushant.

Hi sushant,
When the R/3 Order status is set to 'Completed' then the system status for order in CRM system is automatically changed to 'Completed'.
So firstly check whether the User status ('Completed')in SAP CRM has the Business transaction event set to 'FINI'. So when the system status is set to 'Completed' the user status will also change to 'Completed.'
Secondly even check what are the statuses of item in the Orders.

Anubhav

  • Re: Sales Order Output trigger after Overall status is Complete

    Hello Friends,
We have a requirement where in , we want to trigger the Sales Order Ouput once the overall status is completed.
Basically , the print program should trigger only when Overall status of Sales Order is Complete.
Can anyone suggest any way to achieve this requirement ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Julie.

    Hi,
For this we have to go for ABAP development/a "Z" program.
This program/conditions will be maintained at the smart form level.
This has to be triggered only when the over all status is complete.
This thing we have to check in table "VBUK".
Pass your order number into "VBELN" and check for the field "GBSTK".If it is "C" then only it should be triggered.
We have to write a small line before this triggering program or condition is to be maintained in smart form if you are using it.Contact your ABAPer.

  • What setting to mandate that invoice is created based on sales order NOT...

    Hi,everyone
Could you tell me the detailed configuration  to mandate that invoice is created based on sales order NOT delivery documents.
Additionaly, I need to define this rule at headquarter and apply it all lower-level companies.  how to do it.
    thanks you very much

    Dear Humility,
Could you tell me the detailed configuration to mandate that invoice is created based on sales order NOT delivery documents.
This is quite possible through copy control settings between sales order and billing document
In standard billing type F1 will billed with reference to the sales order OR,so you can copy those settings then rename to your document types and itemcategory.
Go to VTFA transaction click n change icon then select billing type F1 and order type OR then click on Copy As icon (F6)and change the document types(maintain your docuemnt types).
    To copy item level settings
Now you come back to initial screen agin you select billing type F1 and order type OR then click on item here you select standard item category then click on Copy as Icon (F6) here you maintain your itemcategory.
Note:- Don't change the satndard settings you just copy
Additionaly, I need to define this rule at headquarter and apply it all lower-level companies. how to do it.
For this you can take help of your BASIS people they will full fill with the roles and authorisation settings.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Sales order item gets "Fully delivered" status even if partial qty

    Hello,
We have a depot sales configuration in SAP. I found that some sales order lines are getting completed (delivery status "Fully delivered") even if partial quantity is pending for the order line. I checked the status in VBUP table where LFSTA gets the value "C" instead of "B". This is happening for some of the order lines (specially orders with small qty, just an observation).
Can anybody help to know why the delivery status change to "C" inspite of partial delivery.
    Thanks,
    Rajeev

Thanks for your help but your solution doesn't give any clue/solution to my problem
I checked the customer master for shipping-> Partial delivery tab for fully delivered & partailly delivered cases. All the customer masters have same setting. This is confired by checking in the table KNVV.
As explained earlier we have depot configuration & all Sales orders are created with item category "TAB" & there is no completion rule mentioned in VOV7.

  • How to make a sales order item deleted in ECC while in CRM just status changed?

    Hi expert,
I have a requirment, that is:
    1. the user will change the USER STATUS in a line item of sales order to "CANCEL".
    2. When the order was replicated to ECC,the item should be deleted totally and the ITEM in CRM should not be affected.
How can I implement this? Is there any resolution by just make some configuration?
    Thanks in advance.
    Jerry

    Hi Jerry,
As per standard SAP, the line item is not deleted (in ECC) based on the status changes at the line item (in CRM)
You need to do the development to achieve this.  Following points to be considered if you are doing any custom enhancement.
    1. What triggers the sales order replication ? Is it status change at header level ?  If yes, then you need to define a program which will first check the line item status in CRM Sales Order.
    2. Wherever a line item status is CANCEL, it may store in some internal table and then it will call an RFC to delete these line items in the replicated ECC Sales Order.  (without deleting the line items in CRM Sales Order)
    3. Mind you that, this will be a complex enhancement and may give lot of challenges in the sales order replication to ECC.
    Drawback of this requirement -
    1. If your client prefer to have this scenario, then it is fine, but I could see the data inconsistency in all such sales orders.  There will be a mismatch between the sales order in ECC and CRM
    Hope this will be useful
    Thanks and Regards

  • Customer Name on Sales Order not in Data Collections

    Hi,
I am looking for some help. My company just did an upgrade from 11i to R12 in the middle of May. As part of the upgrade we installed ASCP. We have noticed that certain customers are not being collected when running Standard Data Collections. We have open sales orders in the system for the customer. The sales order are being collected properly and appear in the plan. When we show the Customer field in the 'Supply/Demand Screen' in ASCP, the field is blank for select customers. Is there anything on the customer master or sales order line that would prevent the customer name from being collected? Any insight would be helpful.
    Thanks
    Rich

You can go to order organizer screen select the OA NO which you are not able to see in the ASCP workbench, go to line items---using show field get the Demand visible
tab on screen-----default value should be 'Y' if blank then then that could be the one of the reason.

  • Workflow Error Message: System Account - The Workflow could not set Content Approval Status

This is the first time I try an approval workflow. I am using a template in MS Word and assigned an approval workflow to it. The approval workflow is only going to one person in this case.
When I start the work flow the following 3 error messages show up:
Workflow Error Message: System Account - The Workflow could not set Content Approval Status. Enable content moderation for this list and run the workflow again.
Workflow Error Message: System Account - The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the e-mail has a valid recipient.
Workflow Error Message: System Account - The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing e-mail settings for the server are configured correctly.
Thank you for your kind guidance.

    Hi,
For the first error: Did you set Content Approval in the workflow?  If so, see if you have it in the versioning settings of the list settings.
For the second error: double check your recipient is set up as being valid.  Did you type in the email address or is it referring to a people picker field?  also, make sure that in the workflow for the email that you actually populated it in the
    To: field.
for the third error: I suspect that either your farm is not configured for email.  Or, this error is a knock on from the second error.  If you get the second error rectified it may clear this error.  If not then double check the email settings
    for your farm.

  • Sales Order not Valid During Vendor Clearing

    Hi,
When I'm clearing vendor open items (both normal & special GL transactions) i'm getting an error message "Sales Order not Valid". How do I correct this error?
    Thanks,
    Chaikaru

    Hi ,
As you're saying that the order got saved already with confirmation, you can try re-doing the ATP check on the SO item. If the order item is not present in SCM, system will throw an error with the message "APO: Order Doesn't exist".
You have mentioned that CCR did not detect the inconsistency, have you by any chance selected check box "use VBBE table"?
You can try resending all the Sales Orders to SCM by running Initial Supply (report RIMODINI) for Sales Order Integration Model., monitor the queues in /SAPAPO/CQ. Alternatively, If you're using Inbound queues in SCM, you can only check SMQ2 in SCM and if you're using Outbound queues in ECC, check SMQ1 in ECC to monitor the queus.

  • VERSION FIELD FROM SALES ORDER NOT APPEARING IN COOIS REPORT

    DEAR ALL,
I am working on make to order scenario. Version field from sales order not updated when im taking MRP Run for specific Sales order in COOIS Report. But when iam creating production order with T. COde CO08 field getting updated. Its very important to get vrsion field as we have maintain old sales order No. in same. How this problem will get resolved?
    Regards
    Atul

    Atul,
"MRP run" does not normally create production orders, MRP creates Planned orders.  Planned orders do not contain Sales order version.   I have never used this field before, but I would not be surprised if the behavior you are describing is 'standard'.  When you create a production order using CO08, you are creating a 'production order with reference to a Sales order' (which contains Sales Version).  When you create a production order using, say, CO40 or CO41, or using a program such as PPBICO40 in Batch, you are creating a 'production order with reference to a Planned order', (which does not contain version).
If it is imperative that you have the Sales Order version number in all production orders, you could see if Planning Strategy 82 (Assemble to order) production orders contain the data you seek.  Otherwise, I am afraid you will have to have your ABAPers write some custom code to update this field in the production order.
Another way to get sales order data into the production order, that does NOT require custom code, is by using Item Texts in the Sales order.  Any text placed in the Sales Order Item Text Field Production Memo (Text ID 0006) can be configured to be duplicated automatically in the Production order in an MTO environment.  Production Memo then displays as another Tab in CO02.

  • Status of Sales Order not changing

    Dear Gurus,
Our client's document generation process is that they make a Sales Order for say 100pcs to their Dealer and then the Dealer wants the client to send them 20pcs on a perticular day. To inform the Plant to dispatch 20pcs to the Dealer on that day, client makes another Sales Order (referencing the first Sales Order) for 20pcs on the day of requirement, which the Plant accordingly dispatches after VL01n and VF01.
Now the issue is since we are referencing OR doc type with another OR doc type, system is not changing the status of the first OR even after complete reference, but the second OR is changing to 'Completed' after full referencing to an OBD.
I checked all the combinations but it is not changing. I tried many combination in VTAA for OR to OR and also in VOV7 for diff combinations of Completion Rule.
What else can I do? Kindly help me out here, for which I will ever be greatful.
    Thanks and regards
    Venkat - Hyd

wrt: your requirement, have tested & found source doc OR- status is not updating.
But it seems  its std behaviour of SAP
    eg:
As we know,-Sales Order status will be update based on std customization @ Copy Control / Source doc item category level.
Where as in Std OR - once we create the delivery wrt:OR, then based on copy control maintained as said by the other mates, Order status will get updated accordingly.
Here, OR is created ( updated in delivery due list, status is open).
Now you created another OR wrt: first OR, then there is conflict, in order status updation, because here source document is same in both the cases ( creating subsequent document of Source doc & second OR).
But as per system, first OR status is getting udpated once delivery is created, until then it is in "OPEN" status only, though you create one more OR wrt:first OR.
NOTE: if it is your client requirement you have to go for new documen type ( in std: its given as Contract / Quotation etc..,)
Small observation is, in VTAA Copy control from OR-OR,
status will not get update & the document flow is left blank. Which means, this flow can be used to just create a copy of the actual document  w/o updating the status, assumes it can be used to send an order confirmation for a single material , where in actual document contains multi materials.( its just an eg: may not be for single material, could be for any reason)

  • Sales Orders not flowing in COPA if Credit block is set

We are implementing COPA for reporting in BW. The Billing information is flowing well in COPA. However, we have one issue with Sales Orders. Here is the scenario:
When we create a new Sales Order without any credit blocks, the information is flowing to COPA Tables in R/3. However, if the Sales Order is blocked for Credit reasons, then the Sales Order information is not available in COPA. The moment the Credit block is released we are able to see the info in COPA Tables.
The requirement is to have the Sales Order information availabe in COPA no matter what. Is there a way via which we can make the Sales Order info flow in COPA the moment it is created, no matter it has any blocks.
Any info on this is highly appriciated.
    Thanks

  • Sales order not shown in MD04 and product view

    Hi All,
Sales order is created, but its not showing in MD04 and RRP3,The material type is X0.
I checked the status of the sales order that is blocked for authorization,Is there any other reason for this.
    Regards,
    Prabhu

    Hi,
In the sales order, please check the item category in the schedule lines.
If the item category is CN, then you cannot see the requirements in MD04.
The item category is determined from the MRP type set in the material master. Since it was ND earlier, the Item category  in the sales order became CN.
Had the sales order been created after changing the MRP type, the Item category would have been CP and you can see the requirements in MD04.
You can change the item category in the schedule line to CP and the requirements will be transferred to MD04.
Once they are in MD04, they would automatically come to RRP3, provided the material exists in the active integration model.

  • Sales Order Not Checked for Credit Limit

Most of the time, in our course of business, the customer account and BP/Credit limit are setup prior to the input of any order.
However, if in the case the customer was setup (BP created in background, but segment/credit limit not assigned yet), and an order was created immediately the order will not be checked for credit.
We are considering putting a check in the order that it must be checked or it is considered incomplete.
We have a background job that runs every few hours to assign the BP to the credit segment (we have only one credit segment, in addition to 0000) and give a default credit limit.  But we need to ensure that all orders are checked.
How are others handling this situation?
    Thanks

We have already put in place the use of a background job to create the BP/segment with a default credit limit.
We are hoping to come up with a method that is full proof and not manual.
Depending on how frequently the job runs and the timing between that and setting up a customer master record and entry of a sales order, there could be a sales order entered before the background job was completed.

  • Sales order not showing in VKM1 & VKM3

    Hi All,
Sales document blocked for credit check, Status (VBUK) "B" is updated. But sales document number is not showing in VKM1 and VKM3  release t codes.  Header Credit status : Not approved.
Pricing and documents perfectly completed. No issue logs in sales orders.
I have tried those correction programs for SD documents : SDVBUK00, SDRQCR21, RVV05IVB still am not getting the document.

    Read the following OSS Notes
    1) Note 400311 - RVKRED77: Reorganization credit data, new documentation
    2) Note 735791 - Composite SAP Note: Credit update incorrect, 500
    3) Note 735163 - Composite SAP Note: Incorrect credit update, Release 4.70
    4) Note 1176872 - Composite SAP Note: Incorrect credit update, 60*
Depending on the SAP version ,select one from 2-4.
From note 1), it looks this program takes long time to complete. depending on the selection criteria. So I would recommend you run the program on Sunday during which most of the users would be off the system.
The difference between 77 and 88 report looks, in the 88 report run the system won't lock SD tables.

    Hello Kishore,
we have MTO scenario and our issue is to close the sales order, Project & Production order before deliver the complete quantity means when suddenly a customer close the order and our material related to that sales order or project is in process than how we can settle the sales order and project

my question is if we face these type of condition how we should settle or close the sales order, project & production order.
    Please suggest for this case.
