Sales,Production and Stock in a single query

Hi gurus,
My scenario is this:
I want to create a sales report i.e. productwise sales report with the key figures, sales quantity, production quantity and stock quantity. On a daily basis.
can anyone guide me which are the cube and datasouce i need to use to  get these values.
And also how to link those cubes to make this single report.
Thanks & Regards
Ragu

Hi Ragu,
Its quiet wild question.
If you going for the activation of fresh Data Targets, check the BI Content for the KFs (Sales Quantity,Production Quantity,Stock Quantity)
<b>PP:</b> http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/af/dda937dac70003e10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm
<b>Stock</b>
This can be achieved by the Stock Movements Cube:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/42/5959394ddcdd46bc73ea9b58930a4e/frameset.htm
<b>Sales</b>
This can be achieved from Sales Overview Cube
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/71/1769372b2b7d20e10000009b38f842/frameset.htm
You will have to go for a MultiProvider will this three infoproviders.

  • Authority check for sales order and stock transport order

In my code i have a requirement to enter sales order and Stock transport order. However i want that a WM resource should not be allowed to enter sales order and an SD resouce should not be allowed to enter stock tranpsort order. Please suggest.

    Hi,
Another way to solve this is create a Z table with field user name and Resource type and compare the user id ( sy-uname) with the Z table and allow accordingly.
In production environment controlling authorization in this approch is much easier.
    Hope this helps.

  • Getting error when creat sales order and Stock Posting

    Hi
I have created enterprise structure, xd01, mm01, ovkk but I count't post stock.
When create sales order getting error is that
1.This material is not defined for sales area 1000, 10, 00.
    And if i use this T.Code MB1C,
    2. Parameters for plant 1000 not maintained in Inventory Mgt.,
*3. Unit *** is not created in language EN.*
    Thanks in advance

    Dear selvi sankaran
    1)  Compare the sales organization, distribution channel and division of customer and material.  In your case, either of that should have been created differently.  Maintain the same sales area and retry
    2)  Go to omi8 and maintain the required parameters to your plant
    3)  Go to Material Master, select "Additional data" and click on "Descriptions".  There maintain "EN" under language.

  • Difference between Sales Order and Stock Transfer Order(STO)

    Hi Gurus,
What exactly is a diference between Sales Order and STO?
    Thanks and Regards
    Rohit

    Hi,
    Sales Order Stock
Sales Order Stock are stock with Special Stock type E. It can fall into the usual stock categories such as unrestricted, blocked etc. but "belongs" to a sales order.  For example, you create a sales order for a part and assign a sales item category that generates an individual requisition, the requirement has an account assignment linking it to the sales order schedule line, you convert that requisition to a Purchase Order.
When you receive the Purchase Order, the stock is placed in sales order stock. It will show against the sales order/sales order line. It can only be delivered against that sales order line. Any availability check etc for that material on any other sales order will not take it into account as it is not available except to the sales order line the stock is assigned to.
    Stock Transfer Order
the cross company Stock Transport Orders can be done by:
    - Configure using transaction OMGN
    - Depending upon the sending and receiving plants, maintain sales organization and customer data in customizing.
    - Maintain the supplying plant as a vendor and attach the plant to the vendor in the Vendor Master.
    - Material type has to be HALB or HAWA.
    - Ensure that the company with sales Organization has a plant to take care of stocking.
    - The PO used is NB and not Stock Transfer PO.
Configure SD for inter-company billing to enable picking up the pricing procedure for billing.
    - Carry Out delivery through process delivery due list and billing through process billing due list.
Otherwise, You need  to configure your Stock Transport Order settings for your Cross-Company:
    Business Transaction to work.
    1. Customer No. for the Goods Receiving Plant - OMGN
    2. Availability Check- Checking Rule (if necessary) - OMGN
    3. Assign a Delivery Type for the Delivering Plant - OMGN (for Stock Transport Orders, NLCC)
    4. PO type (which i belive you have done) - OMGN
    5. Assign Vendor No. to the Supplying Plant (done) - VK02
    6. Assign Customer No. to the Purchasing Plant for the Inter-Compnay Invoice (but you need to assign this to the Sales Organization pre-assigned to the Purchasing Plant),
IMG-SD-Billing-InterCompany Billing-Define Internal Customer No. by Sales Org
***and by the way for the Invoice to work between Cross-Compnay Plants, you need also to have a Sales Org for the Supplying Plant and a Pricing Determination Procedure.

  • Backflush Semifinished product and stock post to quality inspection stock

    Dear Experts,
Please advise is it possible for the below in SAP. How to do?
When backflush "Semifinished product", system automatically post to quality inspection stock. Then it is skip for 9 lots. The 11th lot again post to quality inspection stock.
1st backflush posting -> post to quality inspection stock
2nd until 10th backflush posting -> post to unrestricted stock (skip)
11th backflush posting -> post to quality inspection stock
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Wong

    Dear Experts,
Let me further explain what I want.
Production people produce semifinished product, but quality inspection people not inspect all the product. For example they will inspect 1st and 11th batch of product only.
So I propose when backflush the semifinished product, system post the stock to quality inspection stock. Then production people know this batch of product need to be inspected and pass to quality inspection people. Once quality inspection people complete the inspection, they will release the material (UD) to unrestricted stock.
I have no idea on how to configure and maybe it is not possible in SAP. Please advise.
Question: Is it we should manually create inspection lot for each transaction (eg. backflush or material movement)?
    Thanks in advance.

    Wong

  • SD Sales BOM and Stock Movement--Help please

    Hi,
    Scenario:
Client is dealing with Value packs. i.e. He creates a finish good by using 2 finish goods as components by creating Sales BOM.
Basic Requirement: To have component level treatment i.e. pricing delivery to be incorporated for components.
Item cat grp selected as LUMF for BOM parent Item in material master.
But the requirement is that stock movements should reflect for both parent as well as BOM materials upon PGI. Header stock is required to check the stock availibity.
By this approach no movements can be seen for parent which will give a wrong picture of the stock positions for Parent Material.
How this can be handled whereby we can see the stock movements for both Parent as well as components.
    Please suggest

    Hi,
Please Use Two Different Item Categories and Schedule Line Categories in this Scenarios and Please ensure that both should be relevant for Delivery.

  • GROUP BY and DISTINCT clause in single query

    Hi All,
    I have this query:
    SELECT studyid,baseline_no,trans_date, min(trunc(compass_date)),drug_related_yn
    FROM cp_bdr_trigger_tbl cbtt
    WHERE NOT EXISTS (SELECT 1
    FROM cp_patient_info_tbl
    WHERE studyid = cbtt.studyid
    AND baseline_no = cbtt.baseline_no)
    AND studyid = '0431-020'
         GROUP BY BASELINE_NO,STUDYID,DRUG_RELATED_YN;
The o/p of this query has around 20 rows with same studyid and distinct baseline_no.
Now I want to select the data all to be distinct by limiting it somehow by GROUP BY clause.
    Is this possible?
I mean grouping should be done in such a way that it should return distinct values only...
The o/p of this query is input to other query for insertion in some table.
    * there is a Unique index in the target table on studyid+basline_no combination so the combination has to be unique*
    Thanks,
    Aashish S.

The GROUP BY is in a way an implied DISTINCT because it will return ONE record for each of the columns identified in the GROUP BY clause.
Either way your requirements aren't very clear. If you can please post the following we may be able to help:
    1. Oracle version (e.g. 10.2.0.4)
    2. CREATE / INSERT statements with sample data
    3. Expected output
    4. Use \ tags (surround #2 and #3 in these tags)
    5. Explanation of logic in achieving #3.
    Thanks!

    ) x
iam not retriving marketExchangeCode with the following query
    marketExchangeCode VARCHAR2 (20) PATH './matchEntityBasic/marketExchangeCode'
    thanks

The problem is that "matchEntityBasic" is not a child of "alternateIdentifiers", so this :
    ./matchEntityBasic/marketExchangeCodepoints to nothing.
To display both values in the same query, you'll need a two-level approach.
    For example :
    SQL> SELECT x2.sourceUpdateId

      3       , x2.effectiveDate

  • How to use SEM_RELATED & SEM_MATCH in a single query

    Hi,
I am trying to combine RDF and RDBMS data using SEM_RELATED.
Below sample is working fine but the requirement is i have to add few more conditions in SEM_MATCH
Please suggest me how to combine sem_match and sem_related in a single query.
Please provide me the example which use SEM_MATCH and SEM_RELATED in a single query.
    SELECT distinct dg_term_property.CONTEXT_NM FROM dg_term_property,dg_term
    WHERE SEM_RELATED ('<http://www.cs.com/mdm/data_glossary#Facilities>',
    '<http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#subClassOf>',
    '<http://www.cs.com/mdm/data_glossary#Reference_Data_Classes>',
    sem_models('GSR_PR_CURR'), sem_rulebases('owlprime')) = 1
    and DG_TERM.TERM_NM=DG_TERM_PROPERTY.TERM_NM;
Let me know if you need any other details.
    Regards,
    Kavitha.

    Hi Kavitha,
I am not sure what exactly you are trying to accomplish with this query but the use of the SEM_RELATED is incorrect. To fulfill your requirement most likely you may not even need to combine SEM_RELATED with SEM_MATCH. Actually those two are not built to be used together.
Take a look at the SEM_RELATED documentation and see if you can use it to get the results you need. The example that you are providing is not using the SEM_RELATED correctly.
    Here is the documentation:

How To Do Configuration For Credit Management
Credit and risk management takes place in the credit control area. According to your corporate requirements, you can implement credit management that is centralized, decentralized, or somewhere in between.
An organizational unit that represents the area where customer credit is awarded and monitored.   This organizational unit can either be a single or several company codes, if credit control is performed across several company codes. One credit control area contains credit control information for each customer.
For example, if your credit management is centralized, you can define one credit control area for all of your company codes.
If, on the other hand, your credit policy requires decentralized credit management, you can define credit control areas for each company code or each group of company codes.
Credit limits and credit exposure are managed at both credit control area and customer level.  You set up credit control areas and other data related to credit management in Customizing for Financial Accounting. The implementation guide is under Enterprise Structure -> Definition or Assignment -> Financial Accounting and then Maintain credit control area. You assign customers to specific credit control areas and specify the appropriate credit limits in the customer master record.

    Hi,

  • Relation between Sales order and Production order

    Hi,
In Make to stock scenario how the relation between Sales order and production order are related. In which table we will get the related fields (expect AUFK,VBAK,AUFO).
    warm regards,

The relation between sales order and prodution order  is as follows.
Pass AUFNR to AFKO/AFPO  Get AUFPL.
Pass AUFPL to AFVC Get BANFN.
Pass BANFn to EBAN Get EBELN.
    Hope this works .
