Same output

I am working on a paper layout report, If i make changes to it and place it on server, it still runs the old report, but if I run it next day then it shows the correct result or the changed report.
How can I fix this, any idea please. i am using run_object_report and web.show_ducment on 10g.
Thanking you and best regards,

sounds like a caching issue.
1. what output format do you use (pdf, html) ? if its not pdf, try the same logic with output format pdf (run old report, change something, deploy, try again).
2. Delete the report-file (or rename it) on the server and rerun the report. Is there still a result displayed.
3. Have a look at the reports-console and see if your report-request is logged there

  • 2 medium for same output type

    Hi,
is it possible to create 2 condition records for the same output type BA00 but i want it to be transmitted to 2 different medium.
    eg: 1 - print
         6 - EDI
now i am unable to do so. I am defining my output via sales org.
but when i enter 2 records of OR doc type with different medium, i get any error
"The condition is being p rocessed in the current session. A condition record with the same variable key is already being
    processed."
    thanks
    dyl

    Hi,
It is not possible to maintain 2 condition records with the same document type with different medium... System says its currently processed, if needed you can change the current record with the medium........
Alternatively yu can simply copy and create a new condition type with ref to BA00 and maintain the different medium...
    Reward if helpful...

    Hi,
Thank you ,but I have a next problem:
When I  tried in transaction mn05 to add second record for the same output type for other  partner roles.
I got error message "The condition record entered already exists".

  • Two print programs using the same output type in t-code v/40

    Hi,
I am trying to use the same Output type RD00 to print diferent forms.
In t-code v/40 we can fill a second Processing but how this work?
Can someone tell me more about this?
The final goal is to print diferent forms according to different companies.
               Thank you and best regards
                         João Fernandes

    Hi,
It is not possible to have 2 different routines to be assigned to one output type in the procedure. I think when you say 2 routines, you are saying 2 logics or you are saying the subroutines KOBED and KOBEV of the routine.
In all reqmt routines, which is in discussion now, only one of the subroutines will be always called, though I dont know unfortunately which one is this. As you said, that only one of your processing logic works, that is the right subroutine area where the second logic should also be coded. So please move your code from the inactive subroutine area to the active subroutine area. Now you should be able to see both the validations being active.
Hope this helps. If the case is different, please let us know.

  • Two printers need to be setup for same output type

    Dear Experts
How do we create condition records for two different printers in VV61 with same output type and packing material type?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

The configuration helps to redetermine the printer.
    F1 help for the field:
    "Description of print profile
By specifying a print profile, the printers for output processing are redetermined. You can, for example, assign the printers of a specific packing station to a print profile.
Using the parameter "PPT", you can individually define the print profile in the user parameters."
Please note that you also have to maintain the profile for each user.
    2)
You have to make yourself familiar with SAP's condition technique.
    http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPLO/output+determination+using+condition+technique
(You will need a condition table in which one key field is the plant and assign it to the output type through an access sequence)

  • Help required: Two smartforms for same output type?

    Dear All,
I have a requirement to display bill of lading for a shipment.
The shipment usually contains two kinds of materials.
The data to be displayed for the first set of materials data is different from what is
displayed for the second set/kind of materials. The layout(columns and structure) is entirely
different. But the user wants to see the two sets of data in two pages, (for the same output type).
But, from what I know, we can only associate one smartform to an output type.
    Any inputs.
    Thanks.

    Hi
V/30, just check your output type, if you click on form and routines there is option assigning multiple programs and forms (i,e, Upto 5).
Have not tried it , you can try and let us know your feedback

  • Same Output through BPM

    Hi,
I have used the Switch condition in BPM to determine the receiver from the IDOC.
    1) I am getting the same output(same content) for both the receivers though i have given the filter condition in the BPM.
    2) In SXMB_MONI i get 3 messages, the first message says "Message Branched" and the other 2 are successful messages.
Any tips on where i could have gone wrong?
    Thanks,
    Tirumal

    Tirumal,
This problem may be because of the namespace in the Incoming Message. Check the XPATH in the COndition Editor. Or redo once again and activate.
    BPM payload value reading problem
Still Switch is not working properly , then you may need to do dummy Interfaces and Mapping to check this.
    Hope this helps,
    regards,

  • Same output type getting triggered twice upon saving the document

    Dear SDNers,
    I have a shipment Document.
Upon saving it the same Output type gets generated twice. ( in a gap of 1 second)
    Clarification needed:
    1. Please guide as to where i need to look for the error as to why same output is getting triggered twice  simultaneously( gap of 1 second).
    2. i have checked in the processing routine associated with it. Is it the right place?
P.S. I had posted another similar thread. Closed it since i felt it lacked clarity.
    Regards,
    SuryaD.

    Hi,
Fetch the data from Nast table for that document number
Check the vstat  . if it is 0 then use the below function module.
    CALL FUNCTION 'RV_MESSAGE_SET_PROCESS_STATE'.
Then it will update the existing single record for the first time .
Next time on wards you will get the multiple records for te document in the Nast table.
For that you need to change the VSTAT status as per the requirement.
Hope this might solve your problem.
    With Regards,

  • Bash function/script to execute multiple commands on same output

Occasionally, I come across the need to pass the output of a single command to multiple others (without piping each to the next), so today, I wrote a [very] simple Bash script to accomplish the task.  Piping the output of a command to `tree' is much like piping it to `tee', except `tree' allows you to execute multiple commands on the same output, rather than only writing to log files:
    #!/bin/bash
    # tree -- pipes the output of one command to >= 1 other
    # Usage: command | tree 'command 1' 'command 2'
    doc=$( cat - )
    for arg in "$@"; do
    bash -c "${arg}" <<EOF
    ${doc}
    EOF
    done
    An example of its usage:
    $ echo -e "1 2 3\n4 5 6" | tree 'grep 1' 'grep 4' "grep 1 | tee grep.log | awk '{print \$2}'"
    1 2 3
    4 5 6
    2
    $ cat grep.log
    1 2 3
Though not elaborate, the script gets the job done.

  • Invoice Print and Email from same output type

    Hi All,
We want to print invoice and send an email to customer. Can this be acheived using same output type??
If yes, plz guide how can we do this..
I check some queries in forums but they had coding etc.  Can we do it with config??
    Regards,
    Satish.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't configure two output types. However, you can do this with one output type in a number of ways:
    1. Use a speciial function output (transmission medium 8).
This allows you to write ABAP code to anything you want. However, you have to manage print contols on yur own as the special function transmssion medium doesn't allow you to specify these on he condition record.
    2. Change the driver program for the print output for the output to send emails.
You would need to handle the email routing on your own because the output records for print are just for printing.

i am getting different output on different printers as well. I have classes defined as Printeable that draw forms, each form has 75 questions and they are all done using graphics2D some printer prints all the pages perfectly some other with different margin and on a laser printer i get only one box.
If it helps someone, for testing, i printed to file (.prn) and read the ouput through Red Titan it's free
it showed me one box out of 76
    just the first one ????
possible solution that would help for margin
    http://java.sun.com/developer/JDCTechTips/2004/tt0611.html
i used book and send printeable class and appended them into the book class
i am dying to solve this problem and wondering if there is better way for testing and how to make all pages
compatible for all printers. I want my program to send all forms to printer same format same size
is there any suggestion?? what am i doing wrong?
    by the way
    bk.append((Printable)componentsToBePrinted[i],pf);
componentsToBePrinted[] is an array of classes that implements Printeable and they all draw the forms correctly and sends to the printer. It is working mostly but i needed to work on alll printers no exceptions
I appreciate any help and i will issue all my duke starts im new to posting in the forum but i will give all my points for this tip
    PLEASE HELP

I want my program to send all forms to printer same format same size is there any suggestion??Produce a PDF... effectively delegating printing there-of to someone else. Problem solvered.
Your PDF options are (AFAIK) FOP or itext.

  • FlowN invoking the same output vairable

    Hi there,
This is a little difficult to explain.
I have a process that takes in document information including multiple reviewers for the douments.
At one point in the process i need to set up multiple threads against the number of reviewers in the document information (It is a variable number of reviewers).
    This was my plan:
Set up a FlowN that counts the number of reviewer nodes. Then inovoke a askReviewer Web service and wait for their reply asynchronously.
It's working! I'm using a bit of Java Exec to receive the flowN varialbe, from there find the reviewer name then send over the document info with the reviewer name.
    BUT:
The reviewer name doesn't change on the output of the invoke. I am debugging the Java and it is susccessfully picking up the correct reviewers. But basically the same XML is being sent to the webservice.
I have a couple of questions, is a FlowN a true thread? Are the variables replicated across each thread, so they are seperate or are they shared?.
There is no doubt that a pick would be the best option for this design, but i can't allocate this dynamically (variable amount of reviewers.)
    I hope this explained well!
It'll be great to hear of anybody who has tried the same thing.

embarrasing stuff, i'm replying to my own thread an hour later.
I fixed it and it was pretty obvious.
The key is that the webservice i call uses input and output variables which are global to the process. Therefore although the flow is threaded the global variables are not.
so it's just a case of creating a scope inside your flow process, then assigning the invoke web service variables as local scope variables. therefore on each thread a new variable is created!
    Superb.

  • Need to print same outputs at different printers

Is there any way we could have the output directed to a different printer. A sales order confirmation output needs to print at printer ABC for user Sam, and printer xyz for user Jude. What configuration change would allow printing of outputs at user specific printer.
    Any suggestions

if it is printing immediately , yes it is possible. In the user profile( T Code SU01) have default printer assigned , which ever you want to print for specific user and click on output immediately. when  the order is saved then it will print to the printer maintained in the user profile.
If batch program , then itwill be difficult
