SAP BP: BUSD customizing has no effect

First I created a new BP View in transaction BUSD, assigned existing (SAP standatd) datasets - BUA010, BUP010, BUP020, BUP030, BUP050, BUP060, BUTX01, CVIC01, CVIC07, CVIC08, CVIC09, CVIV01, CVIV06, CVIV07. Then I assigned existing calling applications and existing subheader ID's for Sales Area Data tab and Purchasing Organisation data tab.
BTW, corresponding functionality works for other SAP standard roles, so I think it have to work with new BPview anyway. Evenmore, this scheme works on a different mandant in the same system (!!!).
Then I assigned this created BPview to a new BP role in customizing. Then I configured field groupings - everything seems to be OK.
But.... When I started transaction BP, I saw no customer/vendor-related tabs in this role, no Sales Area button, no Purchasing button... Why? What have I forgot?
And I have noticed that every changes in BUSD transaction take effect eventually and not allways, and sometimes they just roll back in the same manner. Why? Who can explain it?
Maybe some program (background job?) should be executed to apply the performed changes?
P.S. BUSP transaction doesn't help. And as I said, the same settings were successful on a different mandant. Absolutely the same - step by step. Checking the settings in all possible activities and transactions, I couldn't find ANY difference anywhere.
23.12.2009 Today I have noticed that screen sequences are not determined correctly while jumping from one role to another in transaction BP. Not only my newly created role, but it relates to all standard SAP roles For instance, while jumping from role Customer (with company code view button) to any other role (without CC data) and back, Company Code button just simply disappear! There is no modifications of events (I checked it via BUS7), how come it behave such stupid way? Whats wrong with BP application? I can't find any SAPnote for such issue.

The problem was in master data synchronysation settings. We didn't setup synchronisation BProle <-> Customer/Vendor correctly, that's why we got such issue.
Thank you for the ignorance...

Hi Subathra,
Sap locale property is used if translation is not defined in the xlf file for the language currently used by the user.
If your application supports a language and that is being set as the language of internet explorer , the application will automatically come in that language and if it does not supports the language it will come in the language defined in locale.
Thanks & Regards

  • Payment orders when a customer has a credit balance

    Hello,
    I was able to generate a payment order for a customer.  But when a customer has a credit note attached to it that it effectively renders the total as a credit balance,  I am unable to do so.  When I select on the credit note, it comes up with an error "Enter a payment method for outgoing payments".   Is there a way, that I could overcome this error without creating another payment method?  Because its possible for this company that the customer can have credit balance even though we should just be collecting money from them.
    Thanks and regards,
    Tess

    Hi,
    It is a SAP a standard behavior in case of Debit  balance of Vendor or Credit balance of Customer it gives as an error.
    Hence, in this case we need to do manual clearing through F-44 for Vendor and F-32 for Customer.

  • JFX 2.0 -fx-highlight-text-fill style has no effect

    When I try to set the highlight-text-fill style for a TextBox, it has no effect. The highlight-fill style, however, works as expected.
    public void start(Stage primaryStage) {
        final TextBox tb = new TextBox(100);
        tb.setStyle("-fx-font-size: 3em; -fx-text-fill: #0000ff; -fx-highlight-fill: #00ff00; -fx-highlight-text-fill: #ffffff;");
        final BorderPane root = new BorderPane();
        root.setStyle("-fx-padding: 20;");
        root.setCenter(tb);
        final Scene scene = new Scene(root, 600, 200, Color.BLACK);
        primaryStage.setTitle("JavaFX");
        primaryStage.setScene(scene);
        primaryStage.setVisible(true);
    }But this doesn't seem to be a problem of my custom styles because the default doesn't work either.
    The caspian.css in jfxrt.jar defines a white highlight-text-fill but when selecting the contents of a TextBox, the text color is black.
    Is this an error in caspian.css (maybe the style name is just misspelled) or a current limitation of the beta version?
    Regards,
    Kai

    Thanks David.
    In the meantime I noticed that -fx-prompt-text-fill seems to have the same problem. The prompt text is always gray, no matter which color I set in the style.

  • ADF Faces 10.1.3.0.4 - two-digit-year-start has no effect?

    Hi all,
    I have problem with entering date with an af:selectInputDate control:
    the user enters the date and on an onblur event, the adf field
    automatically reformats it:
    10.10.10 ->10.10.2010
    10.10.60 ->10.10.1960
    The user (customer) wants 2 things to change:
    1. if the given two digit year <= actual year (06):
    10.10.06 ->10.10.2006
    otherwise
    10.10.07 ->10.10.1907
    2. by entering a date, adf have to be accept the date without dots too:
    101006 ->10.10.2006
    1.: I tried to set theconfig param: <two-digit-year-start>2006</two-digit-year-start> (or with an EL expression) in the adf-faces-config.xml but it has no effect.
    Is it a totally wrong idea or is it a bug?
    Any other idea?
    2.: Is it possible to solve this problem with a built in control or converter? Or do i have to write my own converter?
    Thanks for any help!

    The exception is gone - I must have had something wrong in my classpath. However, I still see the warnings. Are those warnings expected when using ADF in conjunction with myfaces?

  • DKACB-XERGO Assignment to a profitability segment has no effect for account

    Hi,
    I have a batch input (FB01) in error for this message:
    Assignment to a profitability segment has no effect for account XXXXXXXXXX
    This account is not to opened as cost element...and this is correct.
    If I process batch input in foreground, I notice that field 'Profit. Segment'
    (DKACB-XERGO) is flagged.
    How Can I unflag this field?
    Where 'Profit. Segment' is customized?
    Thanks,
    Marco

    I am wondering what is behind the batch input or what process is used  to do that. For e.g, when I tried entering FB01 transaction with a pure G/L account (it has no cost element) and  clicked on the profitability segment icon, I got the same message what you got.
    So could it be possible that batch input goes through the 'Detail screen for profitability segment' though it may not be required?

    Hi all,
    I added a button to the documentviewer toolbar after extracting a copy of the template in Blend. I added a button (closeButton) with an "X" as its content. It works but I want the button to be at the right side of the toolbar. I tried the

    Hi DSP1024,
    >>I tried the horizontalAlignment property but is has no effect. If I add margin="500,0,0,0" it works
    Yes, the HorizontalAlignment property has no effect for the items inside the ToolBar control, as a workaround, we can move your "closeButton" out of ToolBar content, like this:

  • The Customer has requested complete delivery

    Hello all,
    I am unable to create a delivery, and I am getting the following message log  in the delivery creation Log.
    The Customer has requested complete delivery
    But my problem is, I dont know which item this is related to?
    How can i find out which item it is?
    I have seen the delivery log, it gives details, but doesnt say which one has the error.
    I have seen the Long text details.
    Also, my other point is, is the complete delivery againbst a customer or is it against a material?
    Many thanks

    Hi saping SAP
    In VD02 go to sales area data -> shipping tab ->uncheck the  box for complete delivery.
    But make sure you have opted for partial deliveries in VD02
    Another option is in when you create a sales order VA01- go to header  data->shipping tab->uncheck the box complete delivery and then proceed by saving the order
    If you have the shortage of material and you have checked the complete delivery, then system will not allow you to save order

  • Customer has same Bill-To and Ship-to address...

    If a Customer has same Bill-To and Ship-to address, then is there any way to enter one address and copy to another in the BP-Master??? (in SAP B1 2007 B PL7)

    If you want to copy them automatically, only FMS may not be good enough.  By SDK or add-on wold be better. It is not that difficult to copy them manually . Because not all Customers have same Bill-To and Ship-to address, automation might not be a good idea.
    Thanks,

  • Sap/bw/Mime/Customer/Images Path in SAP BW Server

    Hi,
    while developing the Web Reports, Our consultants has used some logos in the templates in the development server. These logos are appearing in development properly. I have transported these templates to the quality where these icons are not displaying.
    Post that I found these icons are picked up from from the location  '/sap/bw/Mime/Customer/Images/headjetlogo.gif'. I am trying to copy these files from development to quality. But I am unable to find this path on development server.
    Can anyone please help  me on how do I find these files.
    Thanks
    Ramesh Ganji

    hi Ramesh,
    when we attach the file to dev, system will ask for 'local object' or specify package and save to request to be transported.
    since it's not 'insert' by you, try right click in SE80 and check if there is 'object directory entry', change the package and it will prompt request or right click the file and find menu 'export' or 'download', it will then save to you local pc (specify a folder).
    after that go to production, se80, right click the folder and 'import mime objects' from the file downloaded.
    hope this helps.

  • SAP Cloud for Customer & SAP ECC/CRM OnPremise integration using WebServices!

    Hello All,
    I would like to ask if anyone has really created a working integration scenario between a Cloud Solution & an ECC/CRM OnPremise solution?
    We are trying to build some prototypes for this, however, due to connectivity errors/issues, unable to proceed.
    I'm looking for information on:
    > What certificates precisely are needed on both Cloud & OnPrem systems?
    > What configuration if any is required on Cloud & OnPrem solution, except for communication system/arrangements on Cloud solution?
    > Any use case if available from anyone which can demo integration between Cloud solution & ECC/CRM OnPremise solution.
    I'd really appreciate responses on this.
    Many Thanks

    ntegration-of-sap-cloud-for-customer-with-sap-erp-and-sa
    p-crm-now-available  : Not working! => Please check & confirm.
    Just to give you our background...we are SAP Cloud Partners & VARs, hence we are building few prototypes for Customer Demos & POC.
    Per my understanding, its just one of the OnPrem system, either an ECC OnPrem or CRM OnPrem that you can integrate with one C4C tenant at a time, i.e. to one single tenant. In our case, we are trying to integrate ECC OnPrem with C4C system.
    We are in the process of deploying SAP PI as the middleware platform for integration between C4C & ECC/CRM OnPrem., which is going to take few more weeks.
    SAP HCI will be the other approach, but we are currently not familiar with that, hence we have a trial to start in coming week for SAP HCI, so this is going to take some time as well.
    Hence, WebService is the only currently available option for us to build these prototypes, POC for Customer Demos, to show working integration scenarios between ECC OnPrem & C4C system.
    We have been facing some technical issues after setting up necessary communication systems/arrangements on C4C system & trying to do a WS call from SDK also we get error when we do a ping test from within C4C system to check connection.
    Has SAP developed any WS integration between C4C & either of the ECC or CRM OnPrem system? Or is it just PI & HCI which SAP has for integration?
    I'd truly appreciate if you can guide us on creating few integration scenarios (Working ones of course ) using Webservice between C4C & ECC OnPrem system.
    Many Thanks

  • SAP naming conventions: customer DDIC objects, ABAP programming

    SAP Note 16466 Customer name range for SAP objects contains the SAP naming conventions for customer DDIC objects. Rule of thumb is that the names reserved for customer objects start with 'Y' or 'Z'. However, this note contains the naming convention for DDIC objects only.
    ABAP Code Inspector (transaction SCI) contains the following naming convention for ABAP programming:
    - Global types: T_

    This is the only place I know for ABAP programming naming convention. Does SAP has somewhere else any additional naming convention guidelines for ABAP programming?
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Jarmo Tuominen

    Naming convention guidelines for ABAP programming is available in here: [Manage Successful Customer Development|https://websmp206.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700004444532001E].
    Naming Data Types and Objects
    The names of data types and objects have the form: <Classifier>_<Data type>_<Descriptor>.
    The names of data types and objects have up to 30 characters.
    Exceptions: names of input parameters and select options have up to 8 characters, and <Data type> and _ are omitted.
    First component: Classifier
    T Data type
    C  Constant
    G  Global data object
    L  Local data object
    FS Field symbol
    P  Input parameter
    S  Select option
    P  Formal parameter in form
    FM Formal parameter in function
    Second component: Data Type
    <t> Elementary data type, optionally followed by length
    C<n> Type C of length <n>
    N<l> Type N of length <n>
    X<l> Type X of length <n>
    D    Type D
    T    Type T
    I    Type I
    P<d> Type P with <d> decimals
    F    Type F
    WA  Work area
    IT  Internal table
    Third component: Descriptor
    Use meaningful English names. Later, your code may be maintained or analyzed by a programmer or support consultant who is not familiar with another language.
    Use only alphanumeric characters (A-Z and 0-9) and separate words with underscores (_). Hyphens are reserved for separating components in structured data types.
    Examples:
    G_I_COUNTER (global counter)
    T_IT_BOOKING_LIST (type for list of bookings)
    G_IT_BOOKINGS (global internal table of bookings)
    PSMOKER (input parameter for smoker flag: note omission of data type and _ for brevity)

  • Customer Has Exceeded Credit Limit Question

    Hi
    At the moment when we raise an order for a customer with a credit limit it appears a warning message saying that the customer has exceeded his credit limit.
    This information is a bit misleading if the customer has yes exceeded his limit but only because the outstanding invoices are not due yet ie the Due Date may be 31st May 2010.
    Is there a way to combine the two information and inform the SAP user when the payments terms for invoices have been exceeded, not just the credit limit?
    Thank you.

    Hi Matthew ,
    Both the thing are different :
    1. Credit Limit is only for the Alert or you can block the further transaction .
    2. Next you are talking about the Aging report for the outstanding payments .
    So both having different aspects , you can not directly combine the both. But if you want then you can use some reporting tools .
    Thanks
    Ashish

  • One time discount - how to find out if customer has aleady been given discount before?

    Client has requirement - they give first-time customers a certain discount, occasionally they give old customers the same discount (they want to be able to decide during the sales order entry).  They will enter manually with no condition records.
    They could use HA00 header discount type.. but how can they know whether that customer has received the same discount before?  Is there a standard sales report that can be run based on header conditions type?  We don't have time for custom development and would like find a standard solution.
    Is there a standard report based on order reason? Perhaps they can enter order reason for orders that have that one-time customer and can quickly run that report.
    Thanks!!

    Have you tried entering 'one time discount site:sap.com' in Google? This post is on the first result page, there are many others.
    Kindly refer to ROE and search before posting.
    @Siva - CDHDR table? Sorry, I'm confused... How exactly would it be helpful to OP?
