SAP REFX – Usage of (RECN - Condition Tab ) Formula : E1 – Percentage Share in a condition.

Dear Experts,
I would like have a clarification on the usage of Formula: E1 – (Percentage Share in a condition) for a contract type in Refx  - contract ( In conditions Tab ).
Lets take the scenario as below for example :
Whenever I am adding a condition    ZREN - Basic Rent : XXXXXX  Rs/ month.
System has to pick a second condition ( Over head charges ) as default and it should be calculated 20% of the amount as overheads on BASIC RENT amount.
This 20% should come as default ( Because user cant change this % for anything while creation of contract).
So I have adopted the config changes as below.
SPRO - Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) -- Conditions and Flows -- Default Conditions -- Define Default Conditions – selected my condition group – added new entries- assigned a new condition type as my over heads –
Unit price as – 20 %
Formula: E1
Formula Parameter: selected - BASIC RENT condition ( ZREN )
Is there any other config to be done ( Like adding the Derivation rules - if need Pls Clarify) to fulfill my requirement, B cas after  doing above config my overhead charges condition is not flowing by default, even after manual insertion of Over head charges condition its not taking 20 % as default.( Its asking to enter manually).
Kindly advise to get the same.
Regards,
Subbarao.Narne

Hi Mr. Narnei,
If both the conditions are added manually, the condition with E1 as the calculation formula, say ZE1- Perc Share can automatically pick up the value from ZREN - Basic Rent and do the calculation.
For this you just need to specify the condition in the parameter field in the path: Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) -> Conditions and Flows -> Condition Types and Condition Groups -> Define Condition Types. Also specified in the pictorial below.
For populating default conditions at contract creation based of different parameters, you would need to implement the badi BADI_RECN_CONTRACT. You can also add additional validation such as, if ZREN - Basic Rent is added to the contract it is mandatory to add ZE1.
Hope this helps.

  • PO Creation) Error in Condition tab - Deductible Cond Type adding NAVS amt

    Hi MM Gurus,
    We want to create the following PO:
    Base               :     100
    Serv.TaxSp;dutyCess (Ded amount)     :       10.30
    Total               :     110.30
    CST @2% on Base (Non-ded amount)     :         2.00
    Total PO Amount          :     112.30
    We have configured in spro two condition types, NAVS and NAVD for picking up and storing the values. i.e. NAVS should store the Non-ded amount as 2 and NAVD  should store the Ded amount as 10.30. Expectation is that the Condition tab should show the NAVS and NAVD condition types with the Condition value amounts as 2 and 10.30 respectively.
    Now when we create PO, the Invoice tab correctly shows the above amounts in Taxes option. But when we come to the Condition tabs, the system shows as under:
    -     NAVS (Non-ded amount) correctly shows     :     2.00     (Right)
    -     NAVD (Ded amount) incorrectly shows          :     12.30     (Wrong)
    This means that NAVD is calculating 12.30 as Ded amount + Non-ded amount, whereas it should calculate 10.30 of Ded amount only. Am I missing something? How should I rectify this?
    I also found NAVS is a standard SAP condition type (Non-Deductible input tax) but could not find any NAVD type. Is there any standard SAP condition type for Deductible input tax? If there is none, then where can I store the deductible amounts?
    Thanks in advance for all your answers.

  • Condition tab (or assigment block) in sales order

    Hi all,
    I have a problem regarding conditions maintenance in my sales order document. My replication scenario is A and PRICINGTYPE parameter is G in SMOFPARFSA table
    I create a sales order document (with pricing schema determination correctly set up) but when I access to condition tab in order to see the determined conditions I cant see any of the, the screen in empty.
    I think my IPC is working ok (no error in document)

    Hello Javier
    If you create an order with the same data in SAPGUI you can see in tab prices at header level the pricing procedure, in case it was correctly determined.
    In case the pricing procedure has been correctly determined, I recommend you to check the customizing of the item category that has been determined. Your problem is very likely there.
    . Path for customizing, as you may know is:
    SPRO CRM-->Transactions Basic settings Define Item categories  (Select one item category)  Assignment of Business Transaction categories  Transaction category   Sales  Customizing item
    If we set it as not relevant for pricing (flag u201CPricing-rel not checked) then no conditions are calculated
    If we set it as relevant for pricing we still have several options. The typical one is:
    u201CSystem will copy item to header totalsu201D, so that the conditions of this item contribute to the Net value of the order
    Additionally we have there pricing indicator. In case you there are lines in the pricing procedure with requirement 2 the conditions in those lines will be active only if pricing indicator is set to true

  • RECN: Conditions Tab: Header data for second section not appearing

    Hello,
    Need your kind advise please. I have entered a contract successfully. The contract type is Pay:Rates Payment. The contract has been successfully saved.
    The problem comes when I am trying to display the contract. Here is what's happening sequentially:
    Procedure 1
    1.  I am using TCode RECN and keying in the contract number.
    2. Upon pressing Enter, the General Data tab of the contract is opening.
    3. I am clicking on the icon to change the status from 'display' to 'change'. The mode successfully becomes the 'change mode'.
    4. I am clicking on the Conditions tab and I can see that the screen shows two sections. The top section shows the various conditions that I have created. The bottom section shows the details of the condition for the line item selected from the top section.
    5. I am making the necessary changes and successfully saving the changes made to the contract. Then I am pressing F3 and coming back to the main RECN screen.
    BUT:
    An error occurs when I modify the above procedure slightly.
    Procedure 2
    1. When I am entering the contract once more, the first screen that is opening is the Conditions tab of the contract (quite naturally as this was the last screen that i used just now).
    2. When I am then clicking on the icon to change the status from display to 'change', the system is issuing an error message "Please fill all the mandatory fields".
    3. Upon close examination i am finding that in the bottom section of the Conditions Tab (which is supposed to show the details of the condition on which the cursor has been selected in the top section) the field just above the 5 tabs (ie. Condition, Terms, Calculation, Distribution, Memo) is not populating with the name of the condition on which the cursor has been selected in the top section.
    4. Since this field is a mandatory field, the system naturally throws the error "fill up all mandatory fields".
    The point to be noted is that this field gets perfectly populated when i am following the procedure 1. But in the same contract, this field doesnt get populated and throws the error message when I am following the Procedure 2.
    Request you to please help me understand why in the procedure 2, the field is not getting populated.
    Regards.

    Hello Veman,
    Many thanks for the kind response. However in my case the problem is that when I am trying to go into the 'change' mode for an existing record (which has already been once successfully saved), it is STILL throwing the error message 'fill up all mandatory fields'. The only way to come out of the screen is to press the 'cancel' button.
    What is even more funny is that when I am trying to enter the contract directly using the menu RE Cntract - Change from the first RECN screen, then there is no problem coming.
    My question is WHY is the system throwing that error message when clearly there is no error existing in the record. I believe this will be a programming error. The problem that i am referringto matches very closely to the solution provided vide note number 1291666. The reason why I cant apply this note is because my SAP release is 600 whereas this remedy is for 602, 603 ans 604.

    Hi
    Does anyone know what the function used in background to calculate on the button Simulate, Condition Tab?
    I need to develop a screen that has this button to simulate the calculate, and I wish that the calculations were made using standard function, using the same button function in the simulation, transaction RECN.
    Someone could you help me?
    thank you

    Hi Lucas,
    you can use the function module API_RE_CD_GET_CASHFLOW_CN to get the cashflow data from a contract.

  • How to handle Third party management WRT to  Lease out in SAP - REFX

    Dear Friends,
    I would like to have an advice on Third party management of a property WRT to (SAP REFX) Lease out.
    Example: Under a company code – 1000, I have some 8000 number of properties which is my own and I am doing Lease out with the same.
    Out of 8000 properties I have sold some 500 properties to a different company code XYZ, up to here its fine.
    Now XYZ Company is asking me to lease out the 500 properties through my company code ( 1000) only and for that I will get the commission of some percentage, i need to bring this to REFX system.
    As I have three deferent Opinions in my mind to handle this scenario as below  :
    1. Usage of SAP REFX (Standard) third party management option
    2. Creating a dummy company code and lease out the properties.
    3. In the existing co code itself, I will lease in the properties from XYZ company code & then I will have one more new contract type to lease out and creating a new condition type as Brokerage charges…etc.
    Kindly suggest me the better option to make it user friendly solution.
    Kindly treat this as a priority issue.
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    Subbarao.Narne

    Dear Mr.Kishore,
    Thanks for your advise. But my requirement is as below.
    Property belongs to some OWNER  - A. ( example - rent is 1000 rs / month)
    Its leased out to Tenant - B
    I am  dealing here as a third party between A & B ( so rent is coming to me only from B  later i will pay to owner A) , for that i am getting some commission from A some 10 % ( approx ).
    i need the final ( FI ) rental entries as below.
    Rental Entry
    Tenant ( B )  A/c DR    1000
    Owner A/c CR               1000
    Commission A/c Entry
    Owner ( A ) A/c DR             100

  • Conditon value not updating in CONDITION tab for Sales Order

    Hi Experts,
    Can anyone tell me about this ?
    I have created a Z condition type for VA01 and need to place some value (based on some logic  taken from conditon records).
    I am not able to do this.
    Steps already taken care of.
    !) In VOFM >formula section>conditon value = New routine is created.
    2) in V/08, after selecting the Z condition type Routine number is given in front of the Z condition type.
    Waiting....

    Hi Prabhu,
    I didn't understand the meaning of analyzing the Pricing Procedure ?
    In V/08, I have selected the Z condition type created in the system and than selecting that, navigated to CONTROL folder.
    Now in front of the Z condition type in CALCULATION TYPE field the number of the routine is given (Which is created using VOFM).
    Now what else I need to do?
    Repy@Madhu.
    Yes Madhu. Routine is activated and control is stopping if break point given in the routine. In this routine I am trying to populate a value in its XKOMV internal table's KBETR field but when VA01's main CONDITIONS TABS screen comes the value is not appearing.

  • Error while processing conditional formatting formula in crosstab

    This conditional formatting formula must return one of the following Color Constants: ' A number, currency amount, boolean, date, time, date-time, or string is expected here. Details: errorKind
    The above error is displayed on the the Business Objects Report Server when running my report.
    The XI server version information is as follows:
    BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2
    Business Objects
    11.5.0.3135
    20060628
    Crystal Reports XI Release 2
    Business Objects
    11.5.0.31327
    20060628
    My IDE is Crystal Reports 2008.
    The error is being generated for the following conditional formatting formula which is in my crosstab:
    evaluateafter ({@concatAppTypeAppMethod});
    if CurrentRowIndex = 1 then
        color(0,153,153)
    else if CurrentRowIndex = 2 then
        color(168,146,101)
    else if CurrentRowIndex = 3  then
        color(0,51,153)
    else if CurrentRowIndex = 4  then
        color(204,51,51)
    else
        color(153,153,153)
    This formula is applied via the Crosstab "Format Field>Font" tab.  In the report developer (Crystal 2008) the report runs without error.  When deployed to the server it fails with the above error.
    Heres the details of {@concatAppTypeAppMethod}:
    whileprintingrecords;
    "Designs filed " + {Command.APPLICATION_METHOD}
    The crosstab is structured as:
    Row = {@concatAppTypeAppMethod}
    Column = {@getMonth}
    Summary = Count of {@concatAppTypeAppMethod}
    Details for  {@getMonth}:
    right(totext(year({Command.ACN_COMPLETED_DATE}),"#"),2) + totext(month({Command.ACN_COMPLETED_DATE}),"0#")
    The above functions Row i.e. {@concatAppTypeAppMethod} and {@getMonth} use fields from the SQL command.
    {@getMonth} parses the ACN_COMPLETED_DATE field, obtains the record month and year and concatenates these as a string which can be displayed as follows in the crosstab:
    May-08, Jun-08 etc.
    {@concatAppTypeAppMethod} parses the APPLICATION_METHOD field and obtains the application filing method i.e. Online or Internally and concatenates the pretext "Designs filed " to the filing method (also a string).
    I have tried various combinations of whilereadingrecords, whileprintingrecords and evaluateafter() with no success.  The problem occurs because the conditional formatting formula is being executed before the records being formatted are ready.
    I believe this is a problem with the crystal reports software and/or XI server.
    Please prove me wrong.

    Hi Raghavendra,
    Thanks for your prompt answer!  Can you confirm?  Is it because I'm using calculated members in the report and these are not support by the XI server specified in my error report above?
    If so, do you have any suggestions with regard to how I might be able to create a graph with the following attributes:
    Show summary (count) of records per month per application method (i.e. online or internal. this is a database field retruned by the SQL command).  In addition I need to add a series to the graph that shows the totals number of records per month irrespective of the relative application method (i.e. sum of online and internal) and finally I need to show the total number of online applications (i.e. application method = online) as a percentage of the total number of applications for the month.

  • How to show deductible VAT in PO pricing conditions tab?

    Hi gurus,
    I checked out this similar thread "How to create VAT tax condition in Purchase order" [https://scn.sap.com/thread/1872416]; as this is still "Not answered", here I am to ask for your help.
    I can't access the VAT condition types availbale in system as per SAP standard JVRD - RM-Deductible or.JVRN - RM-Non deductible.... mentionet in the thread above.
    In this ITALIAN implementation we usually find what follows in "condition" tab, which shows only the non-deductible part of the VAT amount, which is calculated as 21%, with 1% deductible and 20% non-deductible:
    PBXX      Net price                 100,00 EUR
              Price 1                   100,00 EUR
              Price 2                   100,00 EUR
    NAVS      VAT purch. non deduc.      20,00 EUR
              Amount + tax              120,00 EUR
              Effective price           120,00 EUR
    while our customer requirement is to see:
    PBXX      Net price                 100,00 EUR
              Price 1                   100,00 EUR
              Price 2                   100,00 EUR
    NAVS      VAT purch. non deduc.      20,00 EUR
    XXXX      VAT purch. deductible       1,00 EUR
              Effective price           121,00 EUR
    Is this possible? How?
    Thank you sooo much.
    Laura

    Thank you for your helpful answer, I would need the customing steps to realize this.
    1) In customizing I define a new condition type ZZTT as follows :
    path SPRO>>IMG>>Material Management>>Purchasing>>Condition>>Define price determination process>>Define condition types
    2. maintain the calculation schema
    path as above except the last step
    Created a new calculation schema per copy of the existing one

  • VF01 Header data condition tab

    Hi All,
    Help me to resolve the my requirments. I am totally new to this area as i am HR ABAP guy.
    We have a custome program which calculate the actual vaues for billing and stores it in Z table based on some key field.
    Brief req,
    When we create the billing document VF01, what I need is, my condition tab  should be filled with the values which is stored in ztable with reference to condition type.
    Any expert help is highly appreciated.
    Any
    BADI
    EXIT
    Enhancement point?

    HI Jelena Perfiljeva and  All.
    As per the SD consultant. There is no manipulation of billing document condition types anyhow. These sales document type are service related and no PGI at all and would refer the preceding sales document conditions at billing creation point. None of the pricing condition types deriving via preceding condition types are not touching and above said enhancement which we are looking for is to identify the value to input under 2 or 3 condition types  (which are manual condition types by origin) to arrive to the final net figure.
    Currently users have to do some working outside of SAP (In excel) to get to know the figure which to be input for a respective manual condition type. This  ABAP enhancement is to get identify the indicated value within SAP itself via a predefined logic definition (Custome program).Therefore no manipulation of automatic condition types but try to arrive to the figure via a custom program which calculate the actual values for billing and stores it in Z table based on some key field and that value is trying to populate under the respective manual condition type.
    So is that possible by any means?
    Thanks and Regards
    Anees

    Hi David,
    Here are some of the steps that may be of some help.
    1. Define the query pair (parameter and value)
    2. Set up the projection of the query result
    3. Call the db engine for the db instance
    4. Run the query and request the result set
    5. Confirm the results
    The sample here comes from the examples found in your IPC install directory:
    /ipc/doc/spe/UserExitsExamples.html#ex1
    The example uses the <u>addAttributeBindings</u> method of the <b>ItemsUserExit</b> to perform the following steps and then calls the <u>determineRelevantAttributesforValueFormula</u> of the <b>PricingUserExit</b> to collect these attributes.  Once available the <u>overwriteConditionValue</u> method is called.
    Here is what I believe you'll need:
    Make sure your user exit is importing the following class reference:
    package userexits;
    import com.sap.sxe.db.*;
    Code:
    // Declare the query pair array
       sys_query_pair[] queryPair = new sys_query_pair[3];
    // Declare the projection to filter the result set
       String[] projection1;
    //  Define the query pairs
        queryPair1[0] = new sys_query_pair("KOAID", "B");
        queryPair1[1] = new sys_query_pair("KOHERK", "A");
        queryPair1[2] = new sys_query_pair("KSTEU", "A");
    //  Define the fields we want to read from table as the projection
        projection1 = new String[]{"KAWRT,KMEIN"};
    //  This is the database access to table
        db _database = _engineUserExit.getDatabase();
        res resultSet = _database.db_read_table("XKOMV",
                                                        queryPair1,
                                                        projection1)
    //  Check whether database access was successful
        if (!res.db_empty_results_p(resultSet)) {
    //  If successful then assign field values
           l_kawrt = resultSet.db_get_row_element_string(0);
           l_mein  = resultSet.db_get_row_element_string(1);
        else {
           log_api.log_write_msg("SPE",
                                            "ItemUserExits",
                                             1,
                                            "Table Query of XKOMV Failed");
           return;

  • Condition tab in ME22n vanish for free item

    In ME22N transaction in the item list if the free item check box is checked, then the conditions tab is vanished and the vise versa. The requirement is to make the conditions tab visible even if the free item check box is checked. Please advise.

    That is standard behavior in PO processing - non-relevant tabs do not appear.  Either raise a message with SAP (which won't get you very far) or enhance the screen (tab) display code.  By the way, simply posting a requirement does not get you very far on this forum - it indicates that you haven't tried to analyze or solve the problem yourself.
